Armory: Infinite
*I, um... I don't have an opening for this. It's an armory. We sell weapons and also custom make them for the purposes of RP. Kind of a long-running series at this point. Come on in.*
*A burly young man walks in the door of the armory and looks around* You sell weapons, yes? I'm looking for something to help me suplex a god.
*Em just stares at him for a second.* I'm sorry, did you just say... suplex a god? W-well, I'm pretty sure you don't need weapons to do that. Just a healthy dose of physical training. Maybe a few dabs of strength enhancing magic or something...
*Sabin grins and flexes his muscles* Oh don't worry, I have the strength part down. The issue is whenever I try he ends up confusing me and I suplex the nearest object instead. Suplexed a building once because of that. And myself, not entirely sure how that last one worked.
I... What? How do you even... *He thinks for a moment.* So you need something to prevent them from tampering with your senses, I suppose? I think I've got something...
*Sabin laughs brightly for a few seconds* Trust me, with proper technique you can suplex anything. More to the point, anything that negates the "muddle" Spell would be very useful. Then I should be able to make that clown pay.
Yeah, I've got something. *Quickly entering and exiting the back room, Em comes back holding a helmet.* This thing has a little enchantment on it that blocks attacks onto the wearer's mind, like Confuse and such. Will that work? It'd be 700g- er, yen. OOC: Sorry for the wait. Something came up.
*Sabin raises an eyebrow before digging through his bag* Afraid I've never heard of this yen. Will Gil suffice? I don't have much of it, but I think I can scrape 700 together.
*He shrugs.* Sure. I doubt you'll have to pay for much else around here. Most cafes and such don't even require you to pay.
*After much digging Sabin is able to get out 700 Gil, he chuckles* No need to worry about food or drink for me. I've been living in the mountains for a while so I can fend for myself alright.
*Em hands him the helmet, and gives him a thumbs up.* Good on ya, man. Just make sure to not suplex your prey. I doubt it'd help much. See you around.
*A man with blonde hair and a dark attire enters with a serious expression glued to his face. He walks up to the counter of the shop and looks Emerson directly in the eyes.* Aye, this is a weapon shop of sorts, right? I need to make a request for some gunfire and cannon ammo. Also enough weaponry for my entire crew. Need to stay armed out on the open seas, never know what might be lurking.
Yeah, we've got plenty of weapons. But could I ask you to be more specific with your request? Ammunition type, shell type, and also the size of your crew and weaponry they use. Can't do much for you without that info.
*Sabin fits the helmet into his bag and looks at Em, puzzled* If I don't suplex the animals how am I supposed to knock them unconscious? Sure, it's a bit of a mess when I clean them afterwards, but really the only problem is catching up to them.
Er, like, a swift strike to the back of the neck? I dunno, basically anything but that.
Wait, give me a second... *Eizen looks around his pockets for a few moments before pulling out a piece of paper. He hands the paper to Emerson, it details the Van Eltia's cannon design and ammunition type, as well as the crew 's preferred weapons.* Had the crew write that down to save time. Not used to dealing with shopkeeps who don't already know what we need, but that just comes with operating out of a new location.
*Sabin looks down in thought for a moment* Perhaps it would be a good idea to get back into practice with my other techniques. But I tend to get caught up in the moment and perform the first one that comes to mind. Usually suplexing. *Sabin waves as he walks away* Thanks for the advice, I'll probably see you again sometime.
Ah, I can do that. Hold on a minute. *After leaving them alone for a short while, Em comes back carrying 3 large crates.* I think that about covers everything... That'll be 7500 yen.
(bump)
(She walks through the doors cheerfully looking around at various displays) Hmm I wonder if Em-san is open this late... Well guess I'll find out. (The girl looks over to the counter searching for Em) Em-san are you in here!?
*Em finally walks into the room, wearing a welding apron and mask. Seeing Homura, he quickly removes them and steps behind the counter.* Hey, uh, sorry for the wait. I was out back working... So, is there anything you needed?
(She nods at him with a curious look) Umm yes Em-san... I was wondering what kinda weapons might do more than just physical damage? (She looks down at her shield) Normal guns are great, but somehow I feel like normal just doesn't cut it around here right?
So something... abnormal, you say? I think I've got an idea. *Em pulls a large case out from under the counter. Opening it, tons of small cartridges of multiple colors are inside.* This stuff's called Dust. It's a type of crystal that's not really found here due to the nature of it's origin region. It's usage is in tons, and I do mean tons, of different things. From powering cities to lighting furnaces, this thing's got it all. *He smirks, pulling out a cartridge.* And it just so happens that they're a great form of ammunition.
(She grins down at the ammo and then looks up to Em) I see then Em-san! So how exactly does one use ammo like this? (She picks up one of the cartridges and examines it closely) I assume you can't just stick them Into any random weapons?
Yep, most regular guns require some good modification to be compatable with Dust. 'Cept Shotguns. Those things are basically made for these things. Anyways, I can adjust your weapons to work with Dust, if you want. It shouldn't take too long.
(She nods at him and pulls a wallet out of her coat sadly) Yeah that'd be nice Em-san... So how much do I owe you then? (She sighs and looks crestfallen as the wallet open, Homura's face showing clear dread)
*Em laughs a little.* Don't worry, it's on me. This process is kinda expensive, so I don't really offer it unless I assume the client can pay for it, or if I'm feeling generous. And lucky for you, it's the latter.
*he enters in* Emerson! Got any anti tank armor 9 x 19 mm NATO rounds?
(Homura blushes a bit and pulls her shotgun sniper and pistol out, looking down at her feet and speaking in a soft tone) Oh um thank you very much Em-san... I'm not really sure why you're being so nice to me but really thank you. (The girl looks up at him and shakes her head giggling a bit) I um hope you don't have some weird reasons for this though Em-san... Hah yeah right. (She bows in thanks one final time)
*Busts in front door* HEY! Can you manufacture me some, special ammo?
*Em laughs along with her, before grabbing the weapons she layed down.* Don't worry. You're cute and all, but I'm already taken. I just enjoy helpin' people do better in combat, that's all. *Leaving the counter behind him, sparks fly from the back room as Em refashions the guns into Dust using weapons. He returns, and hands them to Homura, along with the case.* Take care now, ya hear? Don't do anything that'd get yourself killed. *He then turns to Spectre, before tossing him a few boxes.* There ya go. That'll be 1000 yen.
OOC: Christ so many people Ill getcha next post Pika
Hey sir? Gonna need some special ammo?
OOC: Lag
(Homura grabs the guns, tossing them back into her shield before picking up the case and starting to walk out) Oh you are Em-san? Well that works fine for me... I am too actually, just kinda recent really... Although you've met her one time, don't think you talked much? At any rate thanks again Em-san! (The girl waves at him and walks outside, a spring in her step as she leaps onto a rooftop dashing away into the night)
*gives Eme 2k yen* Keep the change my friend. *grabs the ammo and walks out*
[The man would whistle as he enters the building. Whether at the store or the young girl, nobody knows. He walks over to the selection of blades and stands quietly, gazing at the many blades.]
*Em smiles, before looking down at the Pikachu.* So, you, um... wanted to get some custom ammo? Could I see the weapon in which it'll be loaded into? *Em looks over to Cloud, watching closely as he examines the weapons.*
*Passes Emerson a Tank Head, Grenade Launcher, RPG, Dual Tec-9s, machete, ak-47, and M60.
... So you want... multiple types of ammunition? Because there ain't no ammo I've ever seen that fits into all of these at once. Anything you want about it specifically?
I would need roughly 100 of each element of my choice which are electric, incendiary, acid, explosive for bullets, clusters for actual explosives, and some with dust inside of them. *Checks off notepad*
*Em makes a list of his order before going into the back room and bringing out what he asked for.* That'll be 12000 yen, please. Those Dust carts take a lot of money to make, my friend. Hope you don't waste 'em.
[He takes his blade off of his back and compares it to the others on display.] Old faithful has two slots for Materia...I don't see any on these ones. Must be new or something. [He runs his hand along the broad edge of the Buster Sword, a smile forming on his face.] Always there to get me out of trouble huh, Zack?
*Em eyes Cloud from behind the counter, looking a bit curious.*
OOC: Not that it was a secret, but damn it.
*Enters the shop* I need some ammunition for this pistol. *Pulls out a rose gold M1911 from his holster*
OOC: Too lazy to change accounts. Deal with it. IC: *Em tosses Yuki a box.* That's a mighty fine lookin' gun, man. Anyways, 500 yen, please.
*Catches the box, then gives Em 500 yen* Thank you
*Leaves the shop*
[Notices the stare from the man and looks over to him.] Oh! Are you the shopkeep? Quite the selection you have here. [He lifts his sword off the counter and mounts it on his back.] You wouldn't happen to have any Materia would you?
Oh, um, I'm afraid I've never heard of such a thing... Is it some kind of magic? *Em pulls out a book from a nearby bookshelf and begins writing something down.*
[He reaches into his pocket and produces a small crystal orb, roughly the size of a tangerine and red in color. He would proceed to toss the orb to Emerson.] That's summon Materia. In your hands you hold a direct connection to Odin. [He flashes an impressive smile at the man.]
And yes. It is a magic of sorts.
*Em holds it up to a nearby light, inspecting it.* Hmm, that's pretty neat. *He tosses the orb back to Cloud.* So, were you planning on buying some? Sorry about that. I'm not really sure how to make the stuff, plus I've never heard of it before now.
[He catches it and returns it to his pocket.] It is made by man... [He looks down.] Or rather it shouldn't... it comes from the lifestream. You wouldn't know of Mako or the lifestream would you?
*isn't made by man Fuck.
Er, no. I don't. I assume that's something from where you hail from?
That's correct. It's a long story and you seem eager to unwind and maybe play games? [He turns to leave and smiles.] I'll be around. Maybe when I'm less caught up in my own mind. [He leaves the shop as he waves farewell.]
