*The sound of small pawsteps comes from behind Eiji. Their owner pants happily.*

*Suddenly in the sky, Takeshi Hongo flies by on his motorcycle! He deflects the nukes back the one who sent them!* YOU ARE NOT FRIEND OF JUSTICE!

<Eiji looks around confused, then down behind him> "Oh a dog! Where's your owner? J-just a minute... are dogs allowed here?"

Arf, arf! *The shibe runs around in a circle, then sits down. Peeking out from his orange jacket is an odd collar.*

<Eiji kneels down to pet the dog, as he does so checking the tag> "You must be a long way from home, just like me!" <Eiji mumbles to himself> "Whoever your owner is, they must be worried sick."

*The tag says "Koromaru," as well as an address. However. The strange collar is clearly not normal. Maybe it's decoration, like the jacket's wings, or something else.* Woof! *Koromaru wags his tail and rubs his head against Eiji's hand*

*Pops out of nearest sewer* Hey look! Homeless dude! Want some whiskey?

<Eiji reads the address over and over, but can't make sense of it> "I guess you're lost just like I am, little guy!" <Eiji stands up, hands on his thighs in a playful manner> "Well, nobody would want to have their dog lost for TOO long! I'm sure if we searched together we'd find your owner in no time!"

Arf, arf! *Koromaru gets to his feet and runs in a circle around Eiji. He pauses for a moment to sniff the strange rat* Woof?

<Eiji holds his hands up in a manner indicating no> "Sorry, I d-don't really drink!"

Woof. *With a huff, Koromaru pads away from the rat. He sniffs the air for a moment and begins walking along the sidewalk. He appears to have a set destination in mind*

<Eiji watches as Koromaru begins to wander off> "I think he might be going home! I should be finding a place to call home while I'm here..." <Eiji stands there, lost in thought, for a few seconds before he pops back to his senses> "W-Wait!" <Eiji runs after Koromaru>

*Koromaru slows down to let the human catch up. After a few turns and some walking, the duo eventually comes across a dorm. The dog sits down in front of it.* *Whine...* *He stands up and keeps walking.*

<Eiji stops a moment to look at the dorm, shortly he is once again caught thinking, and is left behind> "Not again!

*Koromaru lets out an amused huff. He speeds up a little as he approaches the entrance to a certain shrine. A few passerby greet him.* Arf! *He greets them back and enters the shrine area.*

<Eiji wanders into the shrine following Koromaru> "Ah! So this must be your home!" <Eiji looks around, inspecting the place> "Amazing! I've visited lots of shrines in my travels, but none were like this!"

Awoo! *Koromaru wags his tail at the praise. He looks over at the shrine itself and, satisfied that everything is in order, chases a leaf over to the playground area*

"Well this looks like your home! I need to find myself a free house here myself! Parks are nice and all but it's getting cold at night." <Eiji wanders back to the district he originally came from> "One of these should be similar..."
