*A little girl wanders the busy streets, holding the hand of a tall, black humanoid. The two stop in front of the teen, silent as they listen to the performance. The girl stares in wonder as she absorbs every note.*

(The boy ends his performance perfectly. Dropping the violin and bow to his side the teen bows. Turning to head home, he bumps into the girl and black humanoid almost tripping.) W-Whoa! Sorry about that little miss and... (He trails off, unsure what to identify the tall, black humanoid as.)

*The little girl stumbles back a little.* It's fine! We were a bit close, anyway. And... *She follows his gaze up to the humanoid.* This is Deemo! He's my friend. *Deemo nods, waving a little in greeting. He doesn't speak, though.*

(The teen looks back at the girl, processing each word she says to reply correctly.) Deemo is this guy's name, eh? He's an interesting one, never seen you two before around here. Say, what is your name, little girl? I'd think we'd be great friends if you like my music. My name's Beethoven, by the way. (Beethoven extends his hand out for a handshake, holding the bow and violin in the other hand.)

Beethoven? Like the musician? *She smiles and shakes his hand with her own smaller one.* That's pretty cool. I'm Alice! Nice to meet you!

Alice, what a nice name. Well, if you want I'm around here in Shibuya often to play music. If I can find anywhere to bring a piano, I can play one of my favorite pieces of music too. (Beethoven brings up his violin to his neck, placing the bow on top and looking at Alice.) Would you like another performance?

Piano? Deemo can play that, too! You two would get along. *Alice nods eagerly at Beethoven's offer.* Yes, I'd like that. *Deemo's shoulders shake a little at Alice's enthusiasm. It's almost as if he's laughing, but no sound comes out.*

Alright, this one's just for you Alice. (Beethoven starts to move the bow on top of the violin's strings, creating a slow pace of music. Soon, he closes his eyes and quickens the pace of music, moving his hand and bow across the strings smoothly.)

*The Mecha patrols through the streets notices Alice and Deemo, he proceeds towards them* *He speaks to Alice* Hey!

*Alice watches him intently, but mostly stares at the bow. The motions are fluid and precise, just like whenever she watched Deemo play. That never ceased to amaze her. Deemo watches the instrument as well, but there's something more calculating in his white eyes, as if he's analyzing the music itself from a professional view.*

*Alice snaps out of her trance to look up at the... thing* Huh? *Deemo looks up as well. He puts a hand on Alice's shoulder protectively.*

*Jake speaks casually to Alice.* Hey. *He waves to her.* My name's Jake! My associate over at Rayark Games has a message for you and Deemo.

(Beethoven doesn't hear Jake as he's mostly deaf, but ends his performance short anyways due to feeling a little drained. Opening his eyes he sees Jake and lowers his bow and violin.) Oh, you know these two as well sir?

A message? Can it wait until after the song? *She turns her attention to Beethoven again.*

Oh, nevermind. But what's the message?

They wanted me to ask you about a collaboration deal. Apparently, *He looks up to Deemo* they thought your performances would go great with me blowing shit up. I thought it was quite strange, considering i've never even dabbled in music before. But, i'm not here to ask questions.

Collaboration deal? *Alice tilts her head* What's that? And that sounds like a really weird idea. *Deemo nods in agreement.*

(Beethoven takes the time to process what Avalon said.) Blow things up? Isn't that rather dangerous? But with what I've experienced here, I assume that there are multiple threats in this universe.

*Jake nods along* Anyways, a collaboration deal is when two artists work together. But, I believe my only job was to pass along the message so I think I should get going now. *Jake slowly strolls away*

Huh... well, bye! *Alice waves at Jake as he leaves* Dunno how he knows us... But yeah, I heard there was dangerous stuff like demons in this Nexus. But Deemo always keeps me safe! *She hugs the humanoid, who gently pats her head.*

So Deemo protects you in this Nexus? He's also a pianist, right? Interesting friend you have, Alice. (Beethoven looks up at Deemo, a little bothered by his odd appearance and inability to speak. He shrugs it off, and walks away. He looks back, waving at the duo smiling.) I'll see you two later, hopefully. (Beethoven walks away into the crowd of Shibuya's busy streets.)

Oh... goodbye to you too, then! *Alice waves, then takes Deemo's hand. The two begin wandering the streets once more, as they had done since they came to the Nexus.*
