Cous Coussier: America Style
<Eiji stands behind the counter, clad in cowboy attire. The entire place is covered in red, white, and blue. There are several items relating to the wild west, alongside some pictures of landmarks.> "Y'know Ankh, I've only been to America once or twice."
*A young, grey-haired man walks in, finishes taking a few notes, and looks around the room* Excuse me, I heard this restaurant had a russian theme? I... Suppose that's a little outdated
<Eiji tips his hat> "That's right! This week our theme is America! Here you go!" <Eiji gives the man a small American flag>
Did someone say.... *bursts through the door* AMERICA!?
"Yes sir, I did!" <Eiji offers Bandit Keith a small American flag>
*takes the small flag* This place is very American. I respect that.
*The young man takes the tiny flag and inspects it* Interesting, they use the patterns in this flag to represent their independence but added to the original design as the country expanded. Wonderful.... *He snaps out of his little daze and bows to Eiji* My apologies, I forgot to introduce myself. I am Yu Narukami. What do you have on the menu today?
<Eiji hands Narukami a menu> "Today we have a special on our "Ben Franklin Burger"! With flavor that'll shock you!"
*Yu examines the menu for a moment, then hands it back to Eiji with a smile* Alright, I'll try this Ben Franklin Burger then. I'm sure its nothing I can't handle
<Eiji goes back into the kitchen and soon returns with a burger that has a key and a lightning bolt sticking out of it in cartoonish fashion. Next to the burger is a medium portion of key shaped fries> "Enjoy your meal!"
*Yu laughs a little before beginning to enjoy his meal. He speaks between bites* I was wondering..... What inspired you to open this place anyways?.... Especially since you seem to change themes often.
<Eiji sits at the counter looking up in memory> "I guess you could say it reminded me of my home, and my friends."
*Valentine enters through the American flag hanging up* Hello my citizens.
*Yu smiles and looks around the restaurant for a moment* I understand. Its a homely little place. Not too unlike somewhere I'd take my friends. *Yu chuckles and gives Eiji a thumbs up* In fact, once we're all back together, I promise I'll bring them here.
[The short robot walks through the door.] I hope this place is interesting. I quietly left the other place, too boring all the time.
<Eiji sees the new guests and stands to greet them> "Welcome to Cous Coussier! How many are with you?"
Just one, my citizen.
<Eiji is asleep at the counter again. Clearly Chiyoko was the only one to make him anywhere near productive enough to be in the food industry. The sign is still open however. He is holding several menus in his hands.>
*A young, long-haired woman walks in the door. She glances around the restaurant with a smile, before walking up to the counter* Excuse me, is this your restaurant? I mean, I imagine you work here...... Hello?
*Valentine enters the restaurant* Hello again.
<Eiji is still asleep. He is snoring loudly.>
*he enters in with his Shattered Vault Cloak getting stuck on the door* Oh come on!
*The young woman giggles and looks between Funny Valentine and Nightstalker* Well well, it seems our host is asleep now. How have you two been doing?
I am doing well. Just helping rebuilding the City because of the Cabal made a bombing run and also conquering it.
*The young woman sighs and sits down* Sounds like you've had quite a hard time then. Would you care to speak on it further? I'm sure you must have some reason for fighting so much
It's because of the Traveler. A giant white orb that gave me my ghost. *His robotic Ghost manifests* Many call it a god, other's calls it a gift from god. But so many sees it a power to have. That is why me and my guardian friends exist. Defend the Traveler and use it for the good of man.
*The young woman smiles and nods her head* So you would say the why is in order to make a better world for everyone? And what exactly does that mean? I'm sure you have something in mind after all.
Many previous guardians inspired us to defend the people. Saint-14 not only defended the Traveler, he also became an idol, a symbol of faith and hope. I still see many kids in the city wearing a replica of his helmet. And we now carry his ideals of defending not only the Traveler, but for the people.
