MIssing Person
There was a kidnapping about a girl who was taken from her house and has been gone for over a year now. Eden was outside of the closed butcher shop where he heard from a source that someone spotted the missing girl in there. He was waiting outside the butcher shop, watching for his backup to come help him in looking into the butcher shop. While waiting, he had his trusty weapon, the laser musket, which was a homemade laser rifle meshed together from various mechanical and electronic parts strapped to a wooden rifle stock and has a crank on the right side of it. While waiting, there was thunderstorm brewing and so, lighting and thunder was raging against each other and brought a mood of despair outside.
One of her many contacts had requested Chandra to look into the disappearance of a young girl from almost a year ago. The Khmer woman sighed heavily as she watched the thunder clouds above rumble. That did not bode well for her, she was not a fan of getting poured on. Finally, her meeting point came into view. An ordinary butcher shop, completely ordinary aside from the extremely suspicious person standing in front of it. She called out to them: "You know, standing outside with your firearm is just asking for trouble. I take it you are the person I am working with on this case?" She sizes them up with a quick glance. Definitely not someone she wants to get into a fistfight with or any kind of altercation. Chandra had brought with her a trusty handgun and a couple of combat knives. Evasive maneuvering and torture being her specialty, she was not much of a brawler.
Eden look a quick glance at Chandra and heard what she said about his firearm. He walked up to her and told her. Ironically, you're saying I look suspicious with my rifle out while you brought out your pee-shooter and those two knives of yours. Anyway, my name is Eden. I got a report that someone saw this young lady here around a couple of hours ago. My source says she might be kept captive in this shop and claimed she might the back of the store. I don't know where exactly but it doesn't hurt looking.
Another troublesome partner. Chandra internally sighs as she a thought passes through her mind. Externally, she replies with a dull tone of voice, "Are we simply barging in or is there some plan to this activity?" Normally not an antagonistic person, she ignores the comments about her weapons and gets to the heart of the matter. As long as this man does not get in her way, she could care less what he thinks about her. Chandra's hand slides into her jacket to prepare her gun for any forced entry.

After she asked that question, Eden told her: The plan here is we find a way to get inside the back and look for the girl, simple as that. The source didn't tell me anything other then seeing the girl here. However, there is a way to get into the back of the butcher shop. There is door we can go through but I doubt it will be unlocked so we need to go through a open window to get inside.
Michael walks upto the building, trench coat on and lit cigarette in his mouth and looks at it. Flicking the cigarette away he brings out a crumpled piece of paper in his pocket, taking a look at the details of the investigation again, then crumples it back up and shoves it back into his pocket. "I take it I'm not the only one here looking for that missing girl? Payday must be rich." He walks over looking at the weapons of the two and shaking his head. "Most likely you won't need those. Probably just mistook a customer for the victim."
He looks over the man in the trench coat. He looks at him and answered his question: Look, if I wanted to find her now, I would of destroyed this place by now and brought her dead body back and get paid for it but no, I need to find her alive. Me and Chandra are only carrying these weapons for our safety. Lookin back at Chandra Don't worry, if there no open windows or we can't pick the lock. He loaded his laser musket with a fusion cell, the ammo for the weapon I'll blow the lock.
Chandra was on the cusp of criticizing her partner for his idea of jumping through windows when this other suspicious person joined them. She nonchalantly listened to what they said and then turned to Eden after he responded to this man. "I thought it was too simple if all we had to do was find an open window and save the day after a year of no success." Returning her attention to this newcomer, she continues,"I guess we should still inspect this place. The sooner we figure out where we need to be the closer we get to being paid." Annoyed, she rubs her temples as she ponders what they will have to do if there is no lead in this butcher shop and she had just wasted her time. She adds on: "And we aren't getting inside by blowing a lock."
Turning back to Chandra, he responded back Never thought you would said that. Let's go. He then preceded to walk to the back of the butcher shop, but it was blocked off by a wooden fence. He throw over his laser musket and he climbed over the fence and picked up his musket. He then told Chandra: Climb over, the door is back here.
Michael nods to Chandra and leans against the wall. "She's right. Blow the door open and you skewer any chance of finding this girl alive, if she is even in there to begin with. My recommendation? Someone go in there, chat up the owners and workers, while the other two go round the back, get inside, and take a look around, without causing them to notice you." He then digs through his pockets and brings out a toothpick, and starts biting the end of it. "Names Michael by the way. And personally I don't care what condition this girl is in if she is in there. I get paid either way."
"I don't particularly care if she is dead or alive either." Chandra began heading back to where Eden was located but before she lost sight of Michael she said one more thing. "Place looks like it's been closed for today. I doubt there are any employees left in there." With that said, she followed Eden's instructions and climbed over the wooden fence to where he was. ((Hey my dude! Wasn't sure if this was intentional or not but in the opening post it says the shop is closed. Dunno if you wanna keep going with the flow or change your action.))
I know blowing up the lock is a bad idea but it's better then not getting in and not knowing anything about her and where she can be after all of this time Eden brought out a lock pick from his pocket and started pick locking the back door. After about a minute, he opened the lock and the door opened. Ladies first. Allowing Chandra to go in first.
"What no night shift?" He chuckles a little and follows the others. "Looks like more than just the setting changed from my city. And they call this customer service, real shame." With that he climbs over the fence, pulling his fedora over his eyes a little more when he finally gets across. "Also maybe not the best idea to carry something so large." He points at Edens gun. "If any of them saw you they would already be suspicious." He then opens his trench coat to reveal a holstered revolver. "Sure it's small, but it'll stop them all the same."
Chandra interpreted Eden's actions as 'if you someone attacks you you're my meat shield' but rather than complain she merely obliged him and stepped into the dark room. The moment she enters the room she steps to the side to allow Eden and Michael entry. Her hand firmly planted on her handgun, she speaks at a low volume to whoever steps in. "Seems pretty quiet in here and no alarm as far as I can tell." She waits for other two to join her as she sticks to the walls allowing her eyes to adjust to the darkness.

Michael follows suite, drawing his revolver as well, keeping an eye on the exit. "That's if the door didn't trigger a silent alarm." With that he sticks to the wall and starts walking quietly down the hall, stopping before any corner and signaling to the others.
As Eden walked into the dark room, he felt a cold breeze running through his feet and said: Do you guys feel that? I'll look for the meat locker here and check inside there. Micheal and Chandra, go look around here and see if there is any clues of the girl here. Eden then raised his laser musket, pointed it in front of him, and walked passed by the hanging pig carcass', looking for the meat locker.
Chandra quietly walked down the hall looking for any doors or openings. Positioning her gun at waist level, she skulks around with the intention of finding something about their missing person. Aside from her 'allies', she heard nothing. Unsurprisingly the building was cold. She seems to have walked into the area where they keep their tools stored, large meat cleavers, giant knives, big pots and pans, and other miscellaneous items meant for a butcher shop. "So far nothing on my end. Any luck with you two?"
He responded to Chandra's question: Nothing yet. I think I found the meat locker. He saw a giant metal door that had a thermometer on the right side of it and saw some fog coming from the bottom. He opened the door and saw some more carcass' of cows, pigs, and other meats. I'll be inside the meat locker and look for any clues if you need me here.
Michael wanders about, looking around eyes trained to spot anything at all and sighs when he comes upon nothing. Analyzing the area, it seems a touch warmer than the rest of the building and there seems to be a large metallic door. Muttering to himself he notices the stains on the floor leading from door and presumes this to be the loading dock. Shaking his head back tracks to where they all separated and waits for the others, or the eventual gunshots if anyone is still here, when he hears Chandra. Shaking his head, he follows her voice to where he thinks she was and speaks quietly. "Just the loading dock on my end."
Chandra grunted to acknowledge what he said. It all seemed pretty empty and it was starting to look like a dead end in her eyes. Nonetheless, she knew that every inch needed to be looked over before they could call it quits. She motions over to Michael for him to follow her. "Guess we should go get Eden from the meat locker, maybe there'll be something interesting there." With that said, she continues to quietly walk around the hanging pig carcass and locate the meat locker. She opens it and looks for Eden.
Eden was looking inside the meat locker but can't find anything either. He looked over to Chandra and said to her: Nothing here either. However, from looking at some of the meat here, it doesn't like it came from an animal. It looked it came from something else. I don't know what it is but there something more to this place, I can feel it in there air. Let's go look into the office of this place. (OOC: i'm probably going to stop here and continue this tomorrow. I'm tired right now so I'm going to sleep. Night).
Michael nods and follows, keeping a eye on their surroundings and doing his best to cover his nose from the stench. Keeping his revolver pointed in front of him at all times, he watches as Chandra opens the door, and holsters his revolver, satisfied nobody is around. "If we are lucky. Very very lucky she will be there." (Night.)

Eyeing the meat, Chandra mutters under her breathe, "I wonder when we'll see dead fetuses hanging from walls next." The smell was bad as it was and then the news about the carcasses did not bode well at all for her. She nudged one of the carcasses with her handgun. "Think there might be something inside?" ((It's pretty late on my end too. Good night fam!))
Eden looks at Chandra and said: Maybe, but let's check the office here and see if there any evidence that might lead us to her. He then proceeded to walk out of the meat locker and look for the office.
Chandra decides to remain in the meat locker and investigate the meat some more. If it wasn't animal meat then there had to be more to this place. As tempted as she was to taste test the meat, she knew better than to do that. She poked and prodded all the nearby carcasses for anything interesting. Noises, pieces of cloth, possibly detached fingers. "I guess monsters exist everywhere."
He kept looking for the office for a good minute until he found a door that was labeled "Office". He said to himself: Jackpot. He slowly opened the door and saw that the office had a desk that was piled with tons of paper. He walked to the desk and said to himself. Let's see what this sick fuck of the owner of this "butcher shop" is hiding. He then proceeded to look through the piles of paper, hoping to find any clues of the missing girl.
Michael leans against the wall fiddling with his toothpick and studies his revolver, it taking more interest now then the case. "Monsters exist within everyone, it's just their surroundings that let them out." With that said he gets up and walks into the office. "Find anything worth any time? I lose money the longer I stay here."
After looking through the papers, he find what it looked like invoice of sort and saw the name "Barbra Edwards" and he said: Oh my god, she was sold off to someone that goes by the name of "Leroy Sawyer". After reading some more, his eye came wide open and said: Yes, here's the bastard's address, and it's not too far from here. Micheal, Chandra, let's pay this guy a visit. He then preceded to walk out of the butcher shop through the back door, waiting for Chandra and Michael to come out.
Chandra had gotten bored with the carcasses and exited the meat locker a little after Michael. She got the end of what Eden was saying about the girl being sold off and promptly followed him out. "Can we even trust the address? What if it's a decoy or a trap?"
(Sorry work became much busier) Michael shook his head and sighed. "What did this girl get herself into... Well that's the only lead we have. Let's go pay Mr. Sawyer a visit. But discreetly. No need for him to know what we are there for." Holstering his revolver he walks out the shop and lights an actual cigarette, tossing the toothpick away. "Shall we?"
