Quintus having been following the boy for quite some time watches as he enters the building but seems to be waiting to move forward. Perhaps there's a hint of hesitation within him? I wonder...if this is really the best of ideas. I don't know if they'd attack me for tailing them like this or not but I'd rather not get into a fight with someone who can paralyze people on a whim like that. Still though, they're a host like me but...apparently they're twisted and broke? I kind of want to know what that means. No...I have to know what that means so I don't end up like that as well. I'd rather hold onto what sanity I have left. Quintus would enter the building as well before looking around to see what may be inside.

Hiiro had gotten a call from the ministry that something strange was going down near the satellite building. Wasting no time he arrives on the scene, looking around and noticing black orbs, tell tale signs of a despairasite Tch... No use helping them. Just have to find the source. Hiiro then begins to run into the building, doing his best to dodge the orbs and people

Taiga darts down the streets, rushing past people as he heads for this eyesore of a building. Tch, who the hell does Earwig think he is trying to infect so many people? As he moves past various orbs and people Taiga would follow Hiiro into the place. And look over to the other doctor. "Oi, so you're out here too huh? Well, I'm glad to see someone else is trying to help matters at least. Any signs of how to remove that thing on your end? Bugster style doesn't seem to work, I'm afraid we may have to just hold him at this point. Unless you've got a better idea?" He sighs and looks around the building, it's an awful thought... But he'll do it regardless, gotta keep people safe after all, right?

Hiiro turns to Taiga and nods as they move in, listening and moving his hand slightly closer to his pocket, as he prepares for a fight Nothing yet, if the Bugster method doesn't work we might be in trouble. However, drawing the parasite out could work. The only question is how. It does live off despair right? Capturing the victim might have to be our only option.

The trio enter the building to find it devoid of life. Nobody is sitting at the front desk and there isn't any sound coming from the security guards that should no doubt be patrolling. "Quintus. He's here. I sense him on the roof. Be careful." The voice of Hook speaks to Quintus. Before the group is a hallway leading to stairs, but there is also an elevator on each wall before the doorway.

Off somewhere else... Emu is frantically running after hearing that Hiiro went out to hunt down some new disease. He runs through the streets of this strange world looking for the building mentioned in the report. Unfortunately, while looking to take a shortcut Emu got lost and is now running around from street to street trying to find the building. Little does he know, he's been running in circles for hours. "Ugh...I feel like I've been running for hours...Where is this place supposed to be, again? Guh, no time to question myself now! I'm going to find this place! I am the genius gamer M after all! There's no way I'll lose!" Emu would continues running as he searches for the building in question.

Taiga nods to Hiiro, steely determination showing in his eyes, he doesn't want to do that, but if it has to happen he'll take care of things. After that, he'd check to see if the elevator is working and if so step in and wait for the others to join him. Along with looking over at Quin curiously. "Oh, seems you've come along too hmm? You didn't seem keen on dealing with Earwig before, so what brings you out with us Quintus? You do realize we've come to take of this problem right. As doctors, we can't allow that parasite to harm people any longer, so, don't get in the way of our work, please?" With that he'd glance over at Hiiro, his tone and face pretty clearly showing he's concerned about Quin, though his reasoning is a bit murkier at the moment.

Quintus would walk up to one of the elevators before attempting to see if it works. If it does he would call the elevator down to take him to the roof. The best place to check would be the most climatic point and if nothing was there he would work his way down throughout the building. He did his best to avoid talking or running into the doctors. He was only here as a bystander in his own mind. I'll be careful...Though the doctors definitely will make things more complicated. All I wanted was a talk with the kid but it seems I'll just be watching another fight. Suits me just fine, maybe I can learn something from watching them anyway. Not expecting the doctor to talk to him he decides it would be more polite to respond. He didn't want a doctor keen on removing people's parasites upset with him after all. I won't get in your way if that's what you want to know. I don't plan on fighting anyone but I was hoping to maybe get more information from the kid before you guys decided to slaughter him. I already know that probably won't happen though since I've already seen how you handle things.

Hiiro steps into the elevator alongside Taiga as he eyes Quin, not being particularly impressed, courage was one thing, dumb bravery was another I'm agreeing with Taiga, you should leave this to the professionals, we've dealt with something similar, you should really go home. Your only going to get hurt. As contrast to Taiga, Hiiro keeps a stone cold expression and near monotone voice, almost showing no concern for Quin as he keeps his hands in his pockets

DING! The elevator doors open and an empty lift is presented to the trio. It has windows on each wall and the panel seems to have claw marks on it. "I agree that learning how to hone my powers would be incredibly beneficial. And who knows, these doctors may harm the boy enough that we get ourselves a little boost of our own. Hehehe..." The voice speaks to Quintus once more as the building begins to shake violently. A monstrous howl can be heard as the shaking comes to a close.

Quintus is shaken up a bit by the howl as he hesitates for a moment. After he calms his own nerves he would step into the lift and smile at Hook's last words. He wouldn't respond to the last part in too much detail as to not alert the doctors but this situation could work in his favor as well. You're right... Now in the elevator he turns to look at Taiga briefly. He can tell he isn't much liked by him and decides to do something somewhat unexpected. Hey...Uh, doctor. I...Uh, I'm sorry about before. I was a bit wound up I guess. A lot of things have been happening to me that I'm having trouble dealing with and I guess I kinda exploded on you back there. So, I just wanted to say...sorry.

"It's fine, honestly. I do understand not wanting to fight, and if you don't think you can I'd rather you just stay safe. Like Hiiro said, we have some clue what we're doing out here. On that note, apology accepted." He smiles slightly at Quintus for a moment, he's still not happy with how... Needlessly cynical the guy is, reminds him too much of how he used to be frankly. But, he's been a bit hard on him. So might as well take his word for it. Besides, worst comes to worst they can take him down. That in mind Taiga steps in and presses the roof button, waiting till the others get in before letting the door close.

Hiiro walks into the elevator and investigates the claw marks, what could have made them? Perhaps this might provide a bit of insight to their foe. Interesting... This would be the armed mode... Hiiro then takes a look at Quin as he begins to open his mouth, however he is interrupted by the howl, looking upward and preparing himself mentally

Taig notices the howl and recalls their last battle, no screwing around by not telling his info this time. "Oi Hiiro, this thing got an upgrade last time we fought. Calls itself Amou now and it can control soundwaves, stops projectiles and damm near paralyzes people. But, the good news is it can only stop so much, my Jet Critical Fire overwhelmed its defenses pretty nice. I'm willing to bet those summoned Bugsters of yours could be a pretty could distraction too, assuming the same limits go for it stopping movement anyways."

A new form... Seems like this one can level up as well. This is giving me Chronicle flashbacks. Brave then mules over the information he had gathered, pulling out Taddle Fantasy straight out of the gate could help, but it would limit his options, perhaps starting out with Do-Ri-Mi-Fa Beat would help in testing the waters Perhaps, but I would like to try the notes, and sending my own soundwaves. Perhaps a taste of his own medicine.

The elevator whirs to life as Taiga hits the button. The doors close and they begin to ascend the building slowly. Each floor passed would be denoted by a chime. The LED screen keeps counting up: 7, 8, 9... ROOF LEVEL! PLEASE MIND YOUR STEP! The doors open and as soon as the group steps out of the doors they'd be met with a terrifying sight. Coprses of security guards all torn to ribbons around the radio tower in the center of the roof. "H-Help....m-me..." A raspy voice comes from a woman being grabbed by Amou, the evolved Earwig. His massive hands gnarled with sharps claws at the end. The sheer size of his hand dwarfs the woman's body as it continues to crush her. "Oh? The doctors and the other host. Come to see the show? BWAHAHAHAHA!"

"Understood, it seems to grow in power with each battle. But one level 3 was enough to drive it off last time, so working together I doubt there's a chance we'll be so badly outmatched we can't move to greater force if needed." With that Taiga looks down to his belt and draws the Jet Combat Gashat. If they're up on the roof he might be best taking towards the sky and providing fire support from above. And if a sheer number of shots is needed to get past its sound? Gatling Combats can fill that role quite nicely. "Unless there seems to be a reason I shouldn't, I'll provide air support. No sense going right to the big guns after all... Or spoiling my new surprise." At that remark he briefly holds up Bang Bang Galaxy to Hiiro, no sense holding that info back either after all. "Emu and Parad aren't the only ones at lvl 99 anymore, although. I have yet to test it in real combat. Practice with it has shown promising results, however." Upon spotting the damned thing he'd quickly stow his new Gashat, rushing out and over towards a ledge of the building as he quickly transforms to Shooting Gamer lvl 2. And instantly summons Jet Combat as well, the robot flying around less than normal before adding it's jetpack and miniguns onto his suit. From there Snipe leaps off the ledge and calls up his Gashacon rifle, sending a full auto burst of 5 shots flying towards it as he moves further into the air. They aren't the best accuracy, but it should at least sting a bit, or distract at worst.

That makes sense, if a level 3 is able to take it out, 2 level 3s should be able to handle it. I still have the Drago Knight Hunter gashat as well if necessary. Hiiro then eyes the new lvl 99 gashat, certainly it was interesting. Lvl 99 Snipe, it wasn't lvl 100, but Hiiro knew better then that to underestimate Taiga Well then, we will need to test it somewhere against Taddle Legacy sometime. That sound be a fair test of strength. Now then. It's time for an operation. Hiiro then steps out of the elevator, taking a look at the mess before shaking his head, this was no time to be distracted, pulling out his gamer driver and 2 gashasts, pressing down on the buttons as they both yell out "Taddle Quest" and "Dorimifa Beat" Henshin. Hiiro inserts both of them into the top of his driver as well as flicking open the hatch in front, transforming into his level 3 form with the assistance of a DJ robot attaching a headset and turntable, grabbing onto his own Gashacon Sword We will now begin the Amou elimination. With his catchphrase down he spins the discs on his turntable, making a wicky waw sound as explosive notes fly towards the beast, exploding if he doesn't touch them

Eito had stood before the building for a while before deciding to go inside.He had seen 'The Good Doctor' as he sarcastically called Taiga along with some other people enter.He was pretty freaked out with the whole 'Everyone has weird black orbs in their ears.' situation and wanted to learn more. "Is this a good idea?" "...No,it isn't." Eito then walked in.

Upon seeing the atrocious act something would rise in Quintus. It wasn't particularly anger but more disgust. He would almost lose his nerve upon the site but a larger question rose in his mind seeing the strewn out corpses. Why...? He had never even thought of doing something like this. To him mental atrocities were one thing. Spreading his fear wasn't something that was crippling either but to see such senseless bloodshed made something in him twitch horribly. T-this is...What? Why would you do something like this? This isn't even spreading despair. This is just senseless killing...I don't get it...why? The part that sickened him most was the fear he knew was being fed to his parasite. It filled him with a mild joy that he didn't want to feel. Maybe by normal means he would be happy about that but too receive it from such an animals killing was beyond question. The part that he dreaded most was knowing that he wouldn't just stop at that fear. He was going to kill the woman if he wasn't stopped. Hook...should...I...uh...

Eito is greeted by the same hall that was devoid of life. Ahead was a doorway leading to several flights of stairs, while to his left and right stood two elevators. --------------------- Meanwhile on the roof, the hulking behemoth that is Amou would end up having to toss the girl away in order to guard himself from the bullets. The woman's body rolls across the ground but her chest continues to expand and contract, good save doctors. Amou would put up his large hand as a shield, however each "HIT" from the bullets would lead to his hand going limp for the moment. Amou turns and glares at Brave as he avoids the incoming projectiles. Wrong move Amou...he is immediately punished by the explosions and gets pushed back into the tower. Sam just leans against the tower with a disinterested look. His eyes black as pitch as he watches his evolved parasite having a blast. "Senseless?! BWAHAHA! These maggots got in my way and I was bored. Sammy didn't care, we have a job to do after all!" A voice speaks to Quintus once again. "You aren't a puppet. Don't let others tell you how to live. But that woman is fine. I can sense her fear." Quintus can feel a surge of power between the two. "What's your decision?" As the voice speaks, Amou would reach into the wiring of the tower and begin howling again. The party, and everyone else in the Nexus would begin to feel slower.

Eito would enter the elevator and go to the top floor.That howl seemed to come from there. "Why am I doing this?" "This is a horrible idea." Eito continued to mumble to himself about such things as he suddenly felt quite sluggish. "Huh?"

Something stirs within. Before, Quintus didn't care much about what Earwig did and having a job to do is one thing but to laugh at the death of others was one thing he wouldn't stand for. A subtle anger began to arise within him. My decision...it's simple. This guy is a liability, right? More people dead means more people who can't fear being dead and that's a issue for us as well as the other hosts. Surely, your creator wouldn't much care for such a monster. This...I won't stand for this...You've crossed the line Earwig! Your life is a waste, so I think I'll just take it for myself! Are you alright with that, Hook? I know that your stuck with me and that I shouldn't be risking myself like this but...I can't just look away from this! For once Quintus felt real determination. The carefree boy now felt a urge to do something regardless of his own fears. A feeling that he wasn't familiar with but felt natural to some extent. He knew he had felt this before and last time...but this time he wasn't by himself either.

"A job to do huh? Funny, Brave and I feel the same way... Only, ours is making sure you can't hurt anyone else." At that point Snipe feels himself growing slower and curses, whatever it's doing to those wires isn't good in the least bit. A few quick and weak shots fly from his Gatling Combats aimed towards the beast's back, they won't do much but it might stun him for a moment. In fact, they're just a cover for the missile that blasts out as the hatch on his back expands outwards, a single one vs the 6 his finisher can fire. But regardless it rushes towards the wiring and creature in front of them, whatever he's doing? Snipe is going to gamble on it needing them intact. And, the blast should hurt him if he hasn't moved of course.

Job.... I have a job to do as well. As Snipe said, I have to be the best doctor in the world! Brave then grabs holds his sword tightly, slamming on a button as the sword flips to ice with a schwing sound, even through the sluggishness, Brave attempts to run towards the tower and freeze the bottom struts solid, hopefully in attempt to weaken them, before yelling to Snipe I can cut anything! Snipe! Aim for the ice! Let's topple the tower straight onto the beast!

Eito arrives on the top floor and sees the battle waging before his eyes. Snipe's bullets do little more than annoy the beast. Amou turns around and lets go of the cables, causing the sluggish feeling to lift only slightly. The beast would howl once again, the pitch would rise higher and higher until the missile is stopped in its tracks and crushed. However this opens the tower to Brave's attack as Amou was distracted. The struts do indeed freeze solid and are left open to any matter of attack. "Ah. This feeling...that's more like it! Our creator never said infighting wasn't allowed, and he is going to make our lives a lot harder." The hooks appear in Quintus' hands as the red eyes look to him. "Let's show him true despair!" The eyes then look towards Amou with ferocity.

Eito steps back as he sees the battle unfold. "What the hell?" Watching,he gets a familiar feeling.One of excitement and adrenaline. "Hmmm." Eito half-remembers what happened the last time he gave in and decides to feed it,though not too much. "Alright then,let's do this." He reveals his dual knives and casually walks closer.

"Aye aye Brave! I'll tear that tower down in an instant." With that Snipe slams Jet Combat from his Driver into the Kimewaza Slot, energy circles around his Gatling Combats and both of the missile launchers on his back fold out. "I don't think that you need that tower up, do you?" With that he turns towards both his foe, and the tower. One minigun blasting away with a volley of rounds towards Amou before the missile launcher on that side blasts 3 rockets towards him. At the time he uses his other his weapons to blast away at the ice on the tower, though, one missile, in fact, flies around the tower and slams it towards Amou. If he's taking it down Snipe is going to aim the thing properly as much as possible after all. "LOOK OUT BELOW EVERYONE!"

With Hook's final encouragement Quintus for once seems to find his resolve as he stares down Amou. A furious yellow energy begins to build around him as he closes his eyes to focus. Right...now let's start! Yggdrasil! Restrain them! The mighty tree would begin growing out of the ground behind Quintus. From the floor it rises extending high into the air. Roots sprout up next to Quintus as he holds Hook in his hand. He opens his eyes and points forward as two roots reach out to grab Amou. Quintus trying to push through the sluggish feeling would try to extend Hookworm towards Amou to extract some blood as well before pulling the hook back back.

This game is over. * Brave then takes the Dorimifa Beat Gashat out of his driver and inserts it onto a slot on his side, pressing down on a button as a voice rings out [KIMIWAZA] [DO RI MI FA CRITICAL STRIKE!] * Brave then enters a low stance as his turntable glows with energy, the discs turning faster and faster, until Brave runs his hand over the discs, sending a wave of sonic sound directly aimed at the tower, Snipe's attack didn't topple it, this probably would shatter the ice

Amou faces off against Snipe as he unloads. The bullets aren't enough to do major damage but they do leave him unable to look away. The high pitched howling returns again to stop the three missiles aimed directly at him, he misses the third due to the hail of bullets. The tower indeed begins to fall as all the attacks hit their mark and the tower begins to give way. However, as Amou goes to turn but his legs are caught by the roots and Hook slices through his body, however, only Samuel would be affected. Samuel moves away from the tower just before the final missile hits the rear of the tower. It begins to topple forward and Amou is powerless to stop it. It finally comes crashing down and narrowly misses the approaching Eito. The Despairasite is down. All out attack anyone?

Looks at the fallen tower and trapped parasite with an amused smile before changing to a fake frown. "Guess I was late to the party." *Shrug* "It's not dead yet though,so do you all wanna finish it or what?"

Your life force...I want it all...You don't deserve it... Quintus would then throw the other hook toward Sammy as a root would seem to climb down the line of it. If it hits it would wrap around the boy's torso specifically and try to lift them into the air. If it misses the root would burrow into the ground wherever it lands. I'll make sure you feel my fear as well!

"Well, that seems to have worked pretty effectively!" At this point Snipe considers all they've seen, the parasite... Its kept pretty close to the host up to now, almost as though they're scared of being taken from each other? Put it to the test, With that Snipe fires wildly towards Amou with his miniguns while darting in close and moving lower. From the outside, it might seem he wants to get in close to deal more damage, but instead, he'd keep flying past Amou and stop firing, then rush towards Samuel, quickly grabbing the boy before boosting up into the air with him. "Oi, there kid, you're gonna help me out with a little theory now like it or not! Let's see what happens when you and that monster down there aren't so close shall we?" From there Snipe smirks inside his mask, the thrusters on his back burning up as he carries the boy off towards another high rooftop, seems about half a mile out if were to guess. Assuming he's kept hold of the child, once he'd reached it Snipe would then set him down on said roof, and force him to stay there rather than be allowed anywhere near the parasite. "Now come on, let's sit back and watch the show. No sense trying to fight me without your parasite after all, unless you suddenly have super strength?" In spite of it sounding like a jab, Snipe it is, in fact, wary of the boy having something of the sort. Can never tell around here.

Yes. Destroy it. Brave prepares another strike as he tries to gain more power back unfortunately for him he used his finisher already, leaving him to get ready for the next strike if it still stands

OOC:Kay,sorry.Was doing some work.Back now. Eito's smile turns downright sadistic as he brandishes his weapons and prepares to cut into the monster. "This'll be good..." He takes his first stab,careful to make sure it doesn't kill the parasite. "Oh yes..." Eito suddenly comes to his senses.Blinking rapidly and shaking his head. "What the fuck?" Eito takes another look at the parasite and decides to try and end it quickly,though not caring if the creature feels much pain.

OOC: just didn't want to jump the gun without you, no worries! Everything is set into motion as Quintus throws Hook at the boy with roots following suit. The attack allows Hook to drain the boy of his blood as the roots raise and bind him. However, Snipe had a more passive idea and quickly swoops down and nabs the kid. The pair fly off and are isolated on a nearby roof. The further they get, the less black the boy's eyes become. As they land, the boy would quickly reach for a small switchblade in his pocket and quickly lunge at Snipe with it. "GRAAAAAAAGH!" Back on the other roof, everyone can see a long thin black cord connecting Amou to Samuel. Last but not least, Eito goes in on the beast and deals major damage. The large humanoid form is now riddled with several deep cuts. ------------- "You think that's it? That you won?" The tower groans as the beast stands. Almost like it weighed nothing, Amou tosses the tower backwards and lets out an ear piercing screech which attempts to confuse and disorient the group into seeing a group of Amou.

Quintus recalls the hook that was attached to Sammy back to his hand. The root would simply be pulled back into the floor where Yggdrasil is planted. He let's out a sigh as he turns his attention to Amou next. I guess as long as he's getting punished somehow it's fine. Saves me the trouble of finishing them off. As for you monster...You're even worse in my eyes. If you think you can get out of this with whatever you may consider a life than I'm afraid I'm going to have to prove you wrong. Suddenly, Quintus is cut off by the loud screeching as his vision becomes blurry before multiple Amous begin filling the area. W-what? Uh, Hook...Do you know what's going on here? Uh, which one do I aim for? Not knowing what to do Quintus decides to play defensively. Four wooden appendages pop up around Yggdrasil without moving. Quintus stays close to the Persona as he defensively holds Hookworm's blades.

Thanks to his usual focus, and being half a mile out. Snipe isn't set off guard by Amou's sonic attack... In spite of that, the boy's blade slams directly into his armor and promptly bounces off as Taiga actually begins laughing at the audacity. He expected a gun! Or at least a bigger knife. In spite of that, the man pulls his phone out and shows it to the boy. He is deaf after all, so might as well type fast. [Stop fighting, that knife didn't even leave a mark and you can't outfight me. I'm trying to get rid of that thing, but I don't think you want it gone do you kid?] That having been said from here Taiga would take aim, his rifle gleaming in the moonlight as he points down towards Amou and shouts over to Brave. "OI BRAVE! THERE'S ONLY ONE REAL TARGET AND IT'S THE ONE I'M SHOOTING AT, IGNORE THE REST AND TRACK THAT ONE, THEN CUT THE DAMMED CORD!" From there a series of 4 rounds rushes towards his target, one after the other fired with pinpoint accuracy at the back of his foe. Hopefully, Brave will notice this and respond accordingly.

Eito,surprised by all the monster's screeching steps back a bit. "OH CRAP!" After a few deep breaths,Eito was ready to fight once again. Eito was prepared to attack a random Amou before hearing Taiga. "Oh,well,that simplifies things." Eito runs over to the black cord,ready to cut it in two.

Suddenly a distant voice can be heard. "I'll clear this with no continues!" Jumping from platform to platform before reaching the roof. [Gashacon Breaker!] Suddenly a plastic hammer looking device appears in Ex-Aid's hand. He pulls a cartridge out of his belt and inserts it into the hammer before transforming it into a sword. The sword begins radiating with a multitude of colors as Ex-Aid rushes towards the figure snipe shoots at. [Mighty Critical Finish!] Ex-Aid slices from behind the creature as he cuts directly into the back of its neck with a stream of wild energy before landing on the roof. He takes the cartridge and inserts it back into his belt. "Man, I'm late...Sorry about that, I got kinda lost on the way here."

The illusions all fade as the cord is severed. The boy's eyes are now free of any darkness and he loses consciousness. "You....bastards!" Amou falls to his knees as he begins to shrink. "You may have defeated me....but my brothers and sisters will sow the seeds of despair even further than I have!" His humanoid features begin to collapse as his form changes into a pitch black earwig with beady red eyes. "This isn't over! You haven't seen the last of me! You haven't faced the full wraith of Earwig!" As he utters his final words, the small bug would explode into blackness. ------------------- Meanwhile at the base of the building there stands a grinning Fakelib. "Game Clear. Good job. But this is only the tip of the iceberg." With that the man would walk off into the night.

Quintus would look down at the black smear earwig left behind before walking back into the elevator and quickly descending before anyone notices. His eyes are tired as he tries to clear the rage he felt only moments ago. It was unlike him to care so much thus he drained all his energy. What a waste of a parasite...Our job should be easier without someone like that around. What was he even trying to do anyway, I wonder?

Taiga looks over to Ex-Aid and sighs, jeez. His heart might be in the right place... But damm if he doesn't lose sight of mission protocol. "Oi Emu, you get lost on the way here or something? Or was it just to look flashy by showing up the last moment." He grabs hold of the knocked out kid, quickly flying down to the roof Amou had stood on moments ago and placing Samuel down against... Something. "Well, either way, it's a good thing you showed up. My bedside manner is horrible after all, so do your thing and something-something smiles yeah? As for me, I'd call this mission clear so good work everyone. Quin, thanks for the assist, but you didn't need to shoot to kill. And Eito? I'm glad to see you trying to do some good out here, but are you sure it's safe to be without any power? You're even weaker than Ride Players like you are now, though much smarter than most Ride Players I saw, so it evens out I guess. Anyways, just don't do anything too reckless! We can't always swoop in after all." Taiga would look around, addressing each of them one by one as he speaks a few parting words to the group. In spite of his words being a bit harsh, he does sound mostly friendly... Although, when speaking to Quin that does seem to fade into something more like suspicion.
