The sun is close to setting in Yongen-Jaya, the small town's streets almost empty. A lonely girl wandets the streets aimlessly, looking at the small buildings in curiosity. Hugging herself to fight against the growing cold air, the girl's footsteps lightly echo.
The setting sun brings a beautiful, twilight air to the small town. Though it is normally quite densely populated, there seem to be rather few people there tonight. Merely a lanky, grey-haired man, tuning his instrument while leaning against a nearby wall
The girl finds herself approaching the man, stopping around 7 feet away. Shivering, the girl's golden eyes look at the figure near her. "U-Uhm... Hello..?" She softly says shyly.
This is our first meeting, I do believe The man looks up at the sound of Jormungand's voice, in spite of how low it was. He sets his instrument on the ground and grins at the little girl No need to be so scared. Why, I'd never hurt a fly. Care to tell me your name miss?
A figure wearing a hoodie that covered her head walked through the small, close knit district with a bag in her hand. She kept her face low as though she didn't want to be seen. These hours are usually quiet. She stopped upon noticing the two individuals. They stood out. Not locals. She cautiously kept her distance, listening in on the conversation as she observed the abmormal scene.
M-my name? She hesitates, unsure if she should trust the man she currently is speaking to. My name is... A pause. Jormungand. Some people c-call me Jory, though. She speaks at a normal volume this time, calming herself.
One of the man's eyebrows lift at the name, he shakes his head, probably nothing important Jormungand, haven't heard that name in a while. I hope you don't mind if I use the full one. The man steps off the wall and removes his hat, he starts to bow, only to flinch halfway to the ground and stand up from that M... My apologies. Please, call me Twilight, I so rarely get company.
I d-don't mind at all. The man's statement threw Jormungand a little off. Is there someone with the same name as her? She shakes off the thought and smiled at Twilight. I don't get c-company usually either. I g-guess we're kinda similar.
Less than you might think Jormungand. Still, you have piqued my interest. The man sighs and sits down, back against the nearby wall. He waves Jormungand towards him, gesturing to a spot on the ground nearby While we have each other, would you care to tell me about yourself? You seem a bit more... timid than most of the people I've met
The hooded figure listened to the conversation with curiosity. She heard a familiar name. "Jormungand". That name came up in her studies... For now, she couldn't recall exact details. More than that, the girl seemed a little uncomfortable. Understandably. Whether from shyness or he may have been harassing her, she was uncertain. Alas, she didn't want the girl to be alone with some stranger, just in case. She approached the two and spoke. Excuse me. Is this man giving you trouble? Hard times all around. You can never be sure of others' intentions. Her keeping her hood up made her look more suspicious than him, but she tried to speak in a friendly tone.
Jormungand sits down at the gestured spot, hugging herself tighter. In the clothing she's wearing now, It's difficult to keep warm. Her snake tail twitches a little, probably from an accidental bite. I.. don't usually get out much. Most of what I do is sleep all day, maybe swim, and- She stops at the sound of the sudden voice. Jory turns her head to the one speaking, a little surprised by her approach. N-No, he hasn't... Her voice grows softer with each word.

The man looks up at Senri and smiles, he shakes his head, before innocently gesturing to his heart You wound me madame. to suggest I'd do such a terrible thing. Still, you're more than welcome to join us, I was simply hoping to get little Jormungand here to talk a bit more about herself. He chuckles to himself for a moment, before suddenly stoppig, a brief grimace flashes across his face before he looks back at Jormungand with a smile No need to worry about her either, we're all friends here. Would you care to go on? I think I could listen to you for quite a long time, adorable as you are.
*he wanders the streets of the town until he encountered Jormungand, his mythril like plate and hauberk shining.* You alright?

She blushes, a light pink appearing on her cheeks. Shy and timid was usual for her, but adorable wasn't a trait Jormungand thought fit her. Sure... Where was I..? Oh, sometimes I listen to nearby m-music when I'm awake too. After finishing her statement, Jory turns her head to Crusader. She gives a nod as a yes. I'm f-fine.
Forgive me. Even in small towns like this, strange things can happen. It's a funny world we live in, yes? Senri let down her hood to reveal her long brown hair. You two stand out from the people I usually see in this town. Forgive me for eavesdropping. She looked to Jormungand, smiling gently, hoping her showing her face would ease her tension. I apologize if I startled you. I am Senri Suzuko. I live in this district. Jormungand isn't a Japanese name; I hope Japan is treating you well. Just be careful at night, especially in the bigger towns. Hard times all around, after all.
*he looks at Senri and back to Jormungand* I must ask, what is this town? And it doesn't look like the hamlet.
Almost immediately, the man turns his attention away from Jormungand and back to his new visitor Senri Jormungand is Norse, based on the world-serpent, though of course, her namesake is much larger, still, it is an interesting point miss Senri. Though I do say, you stand out quite a bit yourself The man grins and glances at Crusader out the corner of his eye..... He flinches momentarily, before returning to his normal, playful gaze A hamlet you say? That explains the dress for sure. This is what people like to call a city. Many people there and all. But people like you don't need to worry about it
This is Yongen-Jaya, in Tokyo. Though, this is a different Tokyo than what you may know. Senri nodded to the man whose name she still did not know. That's what I thought. It was just on the tip of my thoughts. It is interesting, indeed. Hmhm, stand out, me? Perhaps I need to try a little harder. Though I suppose anyone can stand out in a place like this. Or perhaps oddity itself is an aura shared amongst the odd?
A city? Never been in one. Besides, slaying undead and blood sucking monsters of the Crimson court and having a nice duel with Grimnir made me pay less attention of my surroundings.
Anyone who cares to notice me is bound to stand out miss Senri. I rarely get company. The sun continues to set over the horizon, Twilight lets out a soft chuckle, only to suddenly look to Crusader Grim... Grimnir you say? That's an.... Unusual name... Regardless. I think I'll take my leave of you now. The man stands up, tipping his hat as he backpedals away for a moment We really should meet again sometime. Please, call me Twilight. I do hope to get some good stories from you all then. With a brief smirk, the man can be seen walking away for a bit. He is briefly covered by one of the few passerby for a moment, and then is gone.
Senri... That's a cute name. Japan's been g-great so far, even though most of it h-has been me sleeping. Jormungand yawns, stretching her arms out. She hugs herself after almost instantly. Hearing Twilight's statements, she nods slowly. Seems the girl is falling asleep.
