I hate stupid achievements. Trophies and achievements aren't actually a terrible idea, since it creates a checklist for some completionists, or if you have friends the obvious ones can act as "bookmarks" so you can gauge how far your friends are in the game, or something.
What I hate are bullshit achievements like the ones that reward you for standing still or dying.
What I hate the most comes mostly from tactical games. You know how it is in some of these games, spend sometimes up to an hour or longer in a mission, can't save during it, but it's fine enough. Then someone dies. Something happens you didn't expect, someone dies. A plot important character dies. Meaning the game forces you to restart the entire mission. A really long mission that you weren't allowed to save during.
