Don't be ridiculous...... The only thing you've proven is that you're better than I am. At this point, anyone looking at her face would realize that she's basically just a kid pouting Which isn't saying much here. Thats basically the equivalent of saying you're better than a baby wielding a plastic fork. She ignores the water bottle and instead pulls a capsule out of her belt pouch, then begins to apply a salve to the burns on her body

Geeze, this is some infinite supply thing? I'm going to need to pull out all the stops it seems. *Summons up Chiyome once more! This time the water flies forward like a firehose stream! After a few moments of that, the flow abates and suddenly Haruko is rushing right at the Queen, swinging two Chakrams at her as she dashes past the Queen and uses the wall to stop herself.* As predicted, the swarm moves to defend, and this creates an opening for Haruko to strike. The queen is sent flying back, but takes this opportunity to pivot herself around from her spot on the ground, firing another blob of poison at Haruko at a closer range.

Your family name, or rather, your family seems to be very important to you. Guess that's something you got me beat at... but here's a reason why you lost. You relied on yourself, that's it. To some point that'll get ya through a lot. There comes a point; however, when you need to use experiences you've had to help you overcome tough obstacles. Best way to do that... is to make a lot of buds!" Gentaro stands up, and extends his hand once more. An earnest gaze pierces through Kotori. "Anyone who can at least understand that much is more than good enough to be my bud."

The chakrams hit their mark, and the queen frantically calls her remaining bees to heal her. A few of the honeycomb bees surround her to make up for the soaked ones.

................... I'll think about it, i can't really think straight right now, my head hurts, and I've got this little bug in the back of my head who won't shut up. Kotori looks at the hand, but ultimately refuses it. Of course I relied on myself, how am I supposed to get stronger if I hide behind others all the time? Even this bug doesn't help me... I told you to shut up! She looks away from Gentaro I wouldn't have won even with your help! I don't even know how to USE you! And you sure as heck don't seem to bolster me in any way! You're just a hammer!

*Pants a bit but knows the poison is ticking down the last turns of the fight, so she has to act fast. All the bees are congregates, so she summons up Chiyome once more and fires off the geyser from under the Queen.* Drown!

ZZZT! The queen isn't prepared for this, and is sent flying. She tries to right herself in the air and call her subjects, but she only gets some minor healing out of that due to the chaos. She stops beating her wings for a moment and dives down in a last-ditch effort to divebomb the girl.

Yesterday, so I'm a bit unfamiliar with all the sights and all. Seems pretty cool so far at least

The bees? No, not normal at all. That was new even to me. Though we do have a bug problem. They go around infecting people and then causing trouble, all to harvest despair.

Trust me, I've kinda stopped thinking people can't be a help. I'm pretty sure most of the people I've met here have Personas. And the rest are super heroes in what amounts to spandex and plastic. Like those Gamer Doctors, or I think that coffee salesman.

Sayaka just looks straight at Haruko for a bit, having failed to notice Renox's antics. In a moment her usual confident air is back I'm not sure what a persona is, but I have met a few of those Doctor guys. They call themselves Kamen Riders. One of them Taiga kept complaining about how they need their drivers in order to do much, but he still seemed pretty cool.

Sayaka grins and glances at her ring, well, magic is pretty normal around here, so it couldn't hurt to show off About that, allow me to introduce myself. Sayaka holds out her left hand, the one with a ring, and soon the ring glows a faint blue before turning into an egg-shaped jewel with a golden crescent moon at the top. The jewel itself is mostly blue, though there's a hint of black too it, nothing much. My name is Sayaka Miki Sayaka focuses on the gem, and it begins to glowing more brightly, soon the light engulfs her, by the time the light has cleared she's wearing a vastly different outfit, consisting of a blue and white button down strapless top, a blue skirt, white stockings with a blue stripe, teal boots, a white, thigh-long cape, and 2 pairs of gloves: one pair is midnight-blue and elbow-length, while the other is white and the standard length. By her side is a single sword, it resembles a katana with a saber-like handguard. She poses confidently, left arm placed by her hip and right hand in the air And I am a Magical Girl. A white gap appears above Gentaro, and steam floods into GYM from within it. Once it clears, Gentaro is now donning his traditional astronaut-esque suit. He crouches down and springs up with a mighty force. "SPACE IS... AWESOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOME! You comin' along for the ride then?"

A floating sheet of a spirit floats through a wall, his moans of oooh spoooooky can be heared throughout the building. Raidou entered the GYM with his usual flair, followed, as always, by his feline companion Gouto. Raidou looked out at the arena, seeing as it was empty, it probably couldn't hurt to get some practice in. He sits down against the wall, unsheathing his sword, Kusanagi, and polishing it idly. Better to keep it in tip-top shape than go to waste, after all.

Flynn wanders the city streets, nary a clue what this place is but... It seems akin to Tokyo, sans the demons he knows, the people seem far less used to threats and the tech all actually works. But nevertheless, he's been on some of these city streets before, he'd walk down a side alley and spot the building called GYM. Hmm, weren't Gyms places of training or something? Perhaps someone here might know something about this world. That in mind the Samurai walks through the doors and looks around, he'd spot Raidou practicing and nod along with the man's blows, quite skilled from the looks of it in fact. A nice change from that Miki girl he'd met before, introductions are in order it seems. "Excuse me, if I might have a moment of your time... I am Flynn of Mikado, and quite frankly I also happen to be utterly lost in this city, it seems like Tokyo. And yet for some demons do not, in fact, roam the streets at all, what pray tell is this world? If you know anything... Most people I ask look at me like I am mad and then mutter about something called "Cosplayers".

Raidou stops polishing his blade, and turns to Raidou with an inquisitive look on his face. The look faded quickly at the mention of demons, and the boy nodded, grasping the situation. Gouto speaks from a bench, eyeing Flynn with his piercing green eyes. "Mikado? Never heard of that place before. Judging by the way you're dressed, we can assume you're foreign. That device on your arm, that summons demons, right? You're a Devil Summoner, much like Raidou here. This place is called The Nexus, it's not the easiest concept to grasp, but it's essentially a conglomeration of countless timelines and universes, all being compacted into one place. The Tokyo you know is not this one, but that doesn't mean it can't be in some other part of the place, This world is everything, and at the same time nothing. I'm sure that's a lot to grasp, but that's about the extent of what we know."

"Everything and nothing... Amala Network then, close enough that I shall simply think of it in those terms." The man nods along, it's quite hard to grasp and yet... It adds up, powers he knows nothing, machines that fight on their own? None of those things sound normal for his world, yet here they all around him. He'd give Raidou a second glance upon hearing the man is a fellow Summoner, however, where on earth is his COMP? "And you are quite correct about the nature of my skills, I am curious, however... What device do yo-" Flynn stops himself, walking up towards the ring with a smirk on his face before going on. "No, I was about to ask how you summon demons... But if you have come here to train, then I would prefer to simply see for myself."

Gouto wags his tail, as both cat and summoner turn to Flynn with smiles. "Your funeral. Show him how it's done Raidou. You can think of this as training a junior." Raidou nods, walking into the arena and flinging his cloak over his shoulders, revealing the white harness adorned with revolver bullets and silver tubes strapped to his chest.

"A junior? Don't be so sure Raidou-san, I am quite the Samurai after all. Now then, I believe I shall go first... I am after all, "a junior." " Flynn smiles for a moment, bowing to Raidou before he stands back up and darts forward at a rapid pace. He'd reach Raidou in about... 3 seconds from here, as he reaches the man, however, Flynn's hands fly down to the blade on his waist and draw it, a single stroke flying at Raidou's left arm. The cut is aimed towards the man's joints to be exact, assuming he hit it'd make movement harder more than deal raw damage... Unlikely, given how much time to prepare he gave.

Flynn's blade collides not with Flynn's flesh, but his sword. The blueish metal of the blade slams roughly against Flynn's own katana, sending sparks flying. Raidou struggles against the blow, both hands on the handle of his sword. "Tougher than I thought." Gouto was heard mumbling from the stands, as Raidou aims a kick at Flynn's knee, if it connects he'd jump backwards, trying to make distance between the two.
Flynn-of-Mikado
The blow would indeed slam into Flynn's knee, and stun him long enough for Raidou to leap away even... As he'd thought, the man knows how to fight quite well. This shall require some help. "I see then, seems as though I'll make the first summoning in this battle." Flynn taps a few buttons on his COMP, and a glowing green pentagram appears in front of the pair. In a moment it'd vanish and leave behind a man with a bull's head and legs, the demon roars before charging at Raidou with its horns aimed at the man's chest. Flynn himself, however, darts around his beast aiming to rush off to the right side, from there he'd aim his sword at Raidou, a blast of electricity forming upon the weapon before rushing out at the Summoner in a large bolt.
Raidou Kuzunoha
Raidou didn't recognize that thing, but decides he'd rather tackle it than a bolt of lightning. He readies himself, then tries to vault the demon as it charges, using it's own momentum against it, hopefully landing behind it. He draws a tube from his harness, a green light enveloping the area as he continues to play keep-away until the summoning concludes next turn.
Flynn-of-Mikado
The beast would indeed be jumped over, but a quick hand gesture from Flynn sends its leg flying backward. Minotaur aiming to bash into Raidou's chest with a sweeping kick, by the time it's done, assuming he wasn't countered somehow he'd now be facing forward from Raidou. "Hmm, your method is those tubes then. Not quite as fast as data it seems? Or part of some trick, regardless..." Flynn mutters something to himself as he surges forward, this time sheathing his blade and in fact reaching down to a hand cannon on his waist instead, he'd aim a pair of shots at both Raidou's right knee and shoulder, instead of actual bullets however, the gun is firing blasts of force that rip through the air with shockwaves behind them.
Raidou Kuzunoha
Raidou gets smacked out of the air, and sent rolling along the ground by Minotaur's kick. Raidou recovers from the rattle of the attack pretty quickly, and uses the momentum he already had to further his retreat. By now he's on the other side of the arena, and his summoning has concluded. From a flash of light, a Jack Frost wearing a similar garb to Raidou's appears with a flourish, and wastes no time in blasting Minotaur with Bufudyne. The demon's accuracy was thrown off a bit by Raidou tackling him to avoid the shot from Flynn however, as the loosed shots from the gun kick up a chunk of the arena floor where Raidou was previously positioned.

The demon roars in pain as ice slams into it, the powerful magic it's weak to sending his beast down to its knees with a groan. Flynn himself taps a few buttons on the COMP causing the demon to break down into light and return, from there, he'd quickly call upon another more powerful being, the purple-skinned elf eared Loki now standing in front of its master and glaring at Jack Frost. He'd then raise his hands and cause a jet of flames to rush at the foe, burn marks being left in the floor as the Agidyne tears toward Jack Frost. Flynn however, hasn't the time for anything else after toying with his COMP this much.
Raidou Kuzunoha
It'd be smart for Raidou to let Raiho take the hit and rush Flynn, but he can't do that. Instead he grabs the little guy's hand, and tosses him into the air above Flynn. The demon rains more icicle attacks down on the samurai, posing dramatically as he does so. Raidou on the other hand throws his cloak over his torso and braces for impact, the flame-retardant keeps him from being set ablaze, but it certainly didn't feel good.
Flynn-of-Mikado
Flynn shouts an order to Loki, the demon rushing back to its Summoner and pushing him out of the way. It's powerful ice, but thanks to Loki's resistance the spears simply cause him to stagger for a moment before shrugging it off. "Quite protective of your demons I see. Well, I could try and use that could I not? And yet..." The man darts toward Raidou, his blade being drawn in a blur as Almighty magic covers it. The glowing white form of God Slayer Sword darting at Raidou with an inhumanly fast slice aimed at his chest. Assuming the blade hit, Raidou would find himself rather weak to electric attacks at the moment. Speaking of which, Flynn would form a hand sign akin to a thunderbolt at Loki, the demon quickly firing off a stream of lightning right towards Raidou. "It would be no victory at all to win with such tactics, I might be willing to do what must be done... But a simple match such as this is hardly life or death."
Raidou Kuzunoha
Raidou didn't even have time to think about blocking before the slash hit him, and while he was prepped for a harsh attack, the actual slash itself didn't hurt too badly. It wasn't until he saw the attack from Loki that he tried to dodge, the attack not hitting directly, but the newly acquired weakness making even being close to it painful. Raidou winced, just what the hell was this tactic? Still, there's no time to waste, and knowing that, Raidou rushed Loki with his own sword, the innately almighty blade aimed right for the demon's neck, while Raiho covered for his master by firing at Flynn to hopefully make approaching Raidou more difficult.
Flynn-of-Mikado
Loki leans backward, the blade still slamming into his chest directly and dealing quite a bit of damage, in spite of that however it is a powerful demon and not quite done yet. "At this rate, I might need to up our numbers soon..." Flynn spins his blade, ice shots slamming into it as the man darts forward. In spite of Flynn's attempt at blocking, however, a few do indeed slam into him and in fact, cause the man to focus his efforts on Raiho. He'd rush for the demon in one last burst of speed and aim to slam the blunt end of his blade into its head, assuming that worked he'd then quickly draw his scabbard and smash it into Raiho's chest, no sense trying to kill after all. Loki, on the other hand, is less cautious, Lightning crackling around the demon's right fist and arm as he tries to grab hold of Raidou, burn marks forming on the arm as the Ziodyne he doesn't even resist travels along Loki's body... This may hurt him, more than his foe.

A young man with blue hair and gleaming red eyes would enter the facility known as GYM wearing his usual attire of a red cloak over a black shirt. As he enters any who might be paying attention would notice his commanding presence and something keenly off about the look in his eyes. His eyes weren't that of a human's but of something else. It seemed as if he was drawn to this place by the clashing of two powers that felt oddly similar in a way to something he felt before. This power intrigued him and thus he decided to observe it for himself. Upon seeing Flynn and Raidou fighting he would smile in a matter that seemed both content and sinister. "Interesting...to think other demon summoners would find their way here as well. Up until this point I thought I and Kade were the only demon summoners here. Perhaps I should simply watch for now though. It'd be useful to gauge their power in case they become opposition in the future..."

Mm. I do. Demons are pretty much the same as humans. Some can be assholes, some are pretty cool and could be your friend. There's as many demons as there are humans, as well as many other things. I don't think broad generalizations are fair. Some demons even live here in Tokyo peacefully. Senri looks at Rep with an odd expression. Erm, I take the subway every day. What do you mean? Haha. Also, what exactly are you? A demon? A snake? A Pokemon?

Senri smiles and shakes Sayaka's hand. We're not too familiar. Though, I know Haruko-san. We've been through quite a mess before. My name is Senri Suzuko. I'm in high school, myself. Middle school was much more easygoing; I miss it. Senri looks at Haruko with a bit of a pained expression. Well, I've always been able to reason with or fight demons. Humans are... More difficult. I've had more issues with people than demons... And, honestly, dropping out of school sounds tempting sometimes. It's rough, especially in year three... I don't see myself getting a big fancy job; hell, I make money off hunting treasure in this world. But, I've gotten this far... And someone important to me might be disappointed if I quit something. Senri wears a refreshing smile, different from her prior doom and gloom.
