[ENTER TEXT] That is what is displayed on a small tablet. It sits in the center of a (rather battered) park. Its owner is nowhere in sight.

After a long hard day of... Schoolwork, yeah, that's it, a young, blue-haired girl walks through an unfamiliar park. After catching sight of the tablet she looks around for anyone who might own it, before running up to the device I've never actually used one of these things before, I wonder what it does? With that she taps on the tablet screen, just to see what happens

The message disappears, and the screen fades to black. A red semi-circle with a white outline opens. It "blinks" and looks down at a blinking cursor just above the on-screen keyboard. [???]

Walking through the park and listening to music was an often underappreciated pass time.Or at least that's what Eito thought. "You'll never see it coming!..." Spotting Sayaka,he would stop the music and walk over.

Huh, well that's pretty weird The young girl, with little else she can think of, tries to move the cursor over the red semi-circle and click on it That looks like some kinda start button Focused as she is on the screen, Sayaka doesn't notice Eito coming over to her

*Sam walks up to Sayaka and the tablet, his cane clacking loudly against the path as he approaches* Do you always touch things that don't belong to you?

Eito clears his throat in an attempt to get Sayaka's attention,eyes a clear yellow. "Um,hi..."

The semi-circle closes into a white line, and a purple blob literally bats away the cursor. [01001000 01100101 01111001 00100001] A string of numbers appears for a minute, then begins to fade.

Sayaka scrambles away from the tablet, looking up at Sam when he speaks. She blushes a little and puts both hands on her knees Well... Its just, I hadn't seen one of these thigns before, and no one seemed to be around, so I figured it wouldn.... That's about when Eito catches her attention, Sayaka turns back to the tablet in a huff Great, what do you want now? I don't fight people, if that's what you were hoping for. When she looks at the tablet, she gets an incomprehensible mess of numbers. She nervously looks at Sam, who seems to be the oldest person here I... I swear I wasn't trying to break it... It'll be fine, right?

Staring at the tablet briefly,he would look back to Sayaka. "Look,i'm not here to argue with you again." "I had a talk with Homura and realized that this isn't really worth keeping up." "We started on the wrong foot.I say that we forget it and start over again." He extends his hand. "By the way,that's binary." "I know fuck all about what it means,but I know that it's binary."

Sayaka looks back at Sam, the only person who seems to know what they're doing, while addressing Eito I think we'll be perfectly fine as-is. Just don't get in the way of my thing and it'll be good. She's not the Homura I knew anyways, so there should be nothing to worry about. Sayaka beams at Sam's... Kinda praise and sits back to let him do his thing Glad to see you like it... But I'm not so great with tech and stuff, so I'll let you work with it

A raised eyebrow and a change of eye color to a cold blue face Sayaka. "Not unexpected but not preferred." "Regardless,what's going on with that tablet?"

Tch. This Caeser Cipher shit again... *Completely ignoring the other two, Sam gets to work deciphering the tablet.* "Who are you?" Simple enough question. *Sam his name into the tablet, along with Eito's name and "Blue hair" for Sayaka.*

Sayaka continues watching Sam work, completely unaware of Eito's eye color changes Like I said, I don't know the first thing about technology. Looks like that guy's doing pretty well though. Sayaka looks back up to Sam Blue hair? Is that for me? Sorry, I should have introduced myself earlier, my name is Sayaka Miki and I.... It seems like she was going to say a bit more, but Sayaka decides it might be wise not to talk about it, at least not yet

Well anyway, it seems we can indeed ask it questions, Eito. Unless you meant literally anything. As in whatever we want. In that case... *Sam shrugs, making an "I dunno." sound.* So, any question for R2-D2 here?

A teenager wearing a Shujin Academy uniform with a blue jacket over it enters the park after deciding to explore it after he came across it. As he walks further into the park he looks around at it's rather battered scenery "Is this a new Nexus location, because I've never seen this place before." He then notices the large group of people near what looks like a tablet to him and walks over to them out of curiosity

*Sam looks at Tico with a sceptical yet somewhat bored look on his face* Boo.

"Heya Leo.We're trying to make sense of this thing." Eito motions to the tablet.

Sayaka waves over to Leo and Tico as they arrive Uh.... Hey there.... You got here rather suddenly... Sayaka looks back to Sam and raises her hand again Maybe it was just made to give out that little poem thing, so when it made thoughts of its own it came out all jumbled up

Well... It probably does more than that then. Maybe it would give advice or something? Sayaka raises an eyebrow at Sam, as though looking for some amount of confirmation, before Jiyu walks up to the group. she waves at the newcomer The tablet's got some kinda thinking machine in it that the blonde guy's talking to. He knows quite a bit more about this stuff than I do, so I figured I should let him handle it

Turning to Jiyu,Eito's eyes turn orange. "Sayaka found this tablet and we decided to investigate." "Sam here..." He motions to the blonde man. "Is translating for us because the AI in this thing-There's an AI in the tablet by the way-Only speaks in codes and ciphers."

Tico takes the tablet and then she creates a screen in the air and begins to type on it... she is doing it fast... you can't see her fingers What are you doing? i'm going to create a super AI to unlock the tablet... and more stuff, like removing the energy inside Sam

"Okay,well,it doesn't speak entirely in ciphers as you can probably hear.It started saying a poem earlier.We don't yet know it's meaning."

I'm a programmer. I've memorized the binary alphabet and can figure out a Ceaser Cipher just from trial and error in my head. As for the AI, I don't think it's broken. I ran into another one of these a while back with Rom. I think it's just standard fare with the creator of these things. Annoying, but at least they keep to a gimic. I can respect that, at the very least.

I didn't break it!! Probably that Chimera.EXE is in a conflict with another program... or he is just bugged... do you want me to examine it again? As lo- Tico grabs the Tablet again. By the way, she is my assistant, not my pet... and... what is that Chimera.EXE?

Sayaka scratches her head while her writer wishes they could use their limited programming knowledge here Well, its a program right? So of course someone decided to name it. Kinda like a valued pet. They're probably missing Chimera, wherever they are

I mentioned them before. Chimera is the developer of these AI. They also have an annoying love for the Caeser code. Never liked that. It's... too simplistic.

Turururuuru!! Tico is just making some noises. Caeser code... Tico can give me the details later, but for now, tell me about Chimera, is better if we know more.

Jiyu lets out a long sigh, being kind of uninterested in hearing about codes "Anyway, I didn't come to this park to solve codes, instead I came here to explore and possibly find some parts for weapons. So I'll be back soon." He then walks away from the group with his hands still in his pockets Ooc: I have to do homework... kill me.

The tablet comes up with another jumble of numbers, which correct themselves into a clear message: [BEGINNING DIGITIZATION] The tablet's screen then goes blank as something rises out of it. A purple blob, with a white-rimmed red circle. It expands into a purple and black feathered(?) body without limbs. Rather, its three-fingered hands appear and float independently of the main being. Its red "eye" blinks as its entire body glitches. All that comes out of what seems to be a beak are jumbled sounds.

Sayaka immediately drops the tablet and pedals backwards, falling off the bench in the process AH!! What on earth is that? She looks over to her only remaining companion and points at the creature So, uh.... You got anything on it? Maybe it can lead us to those white guys? I'm clueless on this sort of stuff

Eito,looking completely mortified,slowly leans down to the tablet. "I have no idea what that is.I am however learning to regret this." He slowly moves his hand over to the tablet and picks it up carefully,as if expecting it to jump out and attack him like a snake.

The creature looks around, warbling to itself as its eye gazes at the two. It says more nonsensical words and launches its glitchy "hands" at them. They don't seem solid at first, but solidify as they get closer.

Eito screams,quite like a little girl. "AAAAAHH!" He drops the tablet like Sayaka and jumps onto the bench. "WHAT IN THE LORD'S GLORIOUS LIGHT IS THAT FUCKING DEMON?!"

Eito unsheaths one of his knives. "THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELS YOU!" Eito desperately slashes at the thing's hands attempts to cut them off.

Sayaka, meanwhile, struggles to break free of the creature's grasp, though at this point she's only about as strong as you'd expect from a 14-year-old girl Stupid.... Thing... I don't know how but this is your fault Sayaka looks over at Eito with an annoyed expression while she continues trying to get away from the thing

The hands try to stay on. It's a bit hard to shake them off since there's no arms they're attached to, but a few fly back to the creature. It lets out a small cry as a hand is stabbed. The duo's bodies start to glitch a little as well, Sayaka more so than Eito.

"My fault?You were the one who pressed the button!" Eito groans and attempts to hand her his second knife. "You do not know how much I want to let it eat you right now!"
Homura-Akemi
Homura, simply wandering through the area and hunting as usual... Would suddenly begin darting off and burst into her Magical Girl outfit upon hearing Eito's shout. As she sees the boy wildly hacking at something which grabbed hold of Sayaka, the hourglass of her shield snaps shut and time grinds to a halt. She'd rush behind the beast, a shotgun forming in her hands and a purple glow covering the weapon, namely magic to raise the speed and power of her shots. From there she'd aim her gun at 3 points and quickly fire, shots halting mid-air each time as she blasts the chest, and both shoulders. From there she'd leap back a few feet and set time back into motion. Her voice sounding resigned as she looks at the two. "Geez really Sayaka-chan? I leave you alone for a couple days, and the next time we meet you're getting into trouble... Well, you can count on my help anyways!" Soul Gem 15% dark.

Sayaka grabs the knife and begins slashing at the hands touching her Whatever, if we can get these things off of me there shouldn't be any problems. Can't.... You know, if I don't have any space. Sayaka looks up to find Homura suddenly next to the pair and sighs, she turns away from Homura, but its pretty obvious she needs the assistance Not my fault this guy angered a computer program. Just get the hands off me so I can show it who's boss. Honestly, you'd think it would at least have the courtesy to let me transform

The creature screeches, and it lets go, the bullet holes in its body glitching closed. The glitchiness around Sayaka and Eito begins to fade. It spits out a string of incomprehensible words and makes a ring with its hands, hoping to close in on Homura from all sides. Not to hurt her, but to grab onto her and use all its power.

"Oh shut your mouth,I barely touched it. You were the one who haphazardly pressed whatever you did!" *Sigh* "Do you see this Homura?Do you understand why I don't like her now?" Seeing the hands surround Homura he'd get up and draw his knife again. "Guess we're not done yet!" He attempts to stab the hands closest to him.

Homura shakes her head and keeps the gun trained, Kyoko would no doubt say something about how this girl's got no clue... "Don't except the enemy to give you time to prepare, hone your reflexes till you can do it off a twitch, and if you've even the slightest inkling of something being dangerous? Don't bother playing at being normal, this place isn't home Sayaka-chan, no use having secrets when everyone already knows magic is real." Rather than snark however, Homura responds with actual advice in a flat and focused tone... She's learned these things the hard way after all.

The girl decides that blocking doesn't seem like the best thought at the moment, time instead grinding to a halt once more as she'd appear about 50 feet away and behind the foe. A sniper rifle glowing in her hands before 3 enchanted bullets fly towards the back of its head, she'd then look over at Eito and shrug as time moves again. "I don't think that now is really the best time for this topic, perhaps we could discuss such things after our foe has been slain and not before?" OOC: Soul Gem 35% dark, and also I'm on mobile so not going to edit and redo tags for the last post. Will start copying for edits now though.

Now that she's freed, Sayaka steps away and brings out her soul Gem Lecture me later, its magical girl time!!! With childlike excitement Sayaka commences her transformation sequence, she is engulfed in a blue light as her school uniform is quickly replaced with her own magical girl outfit See, now I can take something like this on easily Sayaka draws her sword and dashes through the creature, slashing her sword at its body as it goes by Besides, all the magic just means I shouldn't overreact to the weird stuff right?

Homura sighs at her naive outlook... Geez, even Mami has some understanding of the dangers involved in this line of work. "It's not a lecture first off, I'm trying to help you because regardless of what you think? I'm actually quite concerned with your safety, and not just for Madoka's sake either! And as for the second point... Just because there's lots of it doesn't make it safe, don't play fast and loose with your life Sayaka-chan... I really don't want to see you get hurt, or worse." She might be going too bluntly, but considering how little Mami ever told them it's pretty critical to make sure she grasps what she's gotten into before dying, or worse. Becoming Oktavia. So, Homura simply gives the other girl a dead serious look before turning back to her foe.

Unable to react from the sudden surprise time stop, the bullet tears through its eye and its body is cleaved in two by the sword strike. It takes on a more transparent form, shuddering as it stares at everyone. Its hands blink in and out of focus at random intervals.

"I find it somewhat hypocritical you say that it ain't time for relatively unrelated discussion in battle yet here you are doing almost the same thing!" "Then again,your thing is more important but my point still stands." Eito stares at the...Thing. "So?Think we did it?"

"You do have a point, but frankly what I'm saying is at least relevant to a fight Eito-san... You might do well to keep it in mind as well actually. But yes, if it weren't going well that could have been a large mistake." That said and done she's look over at their foe, a black card forming in front of her face as the girl prepares to call upon her Persona.

Sayaka raises an eyebrow at Homura, not sure what she's going on about, but not much time to worry about it. She speaks up energetically Now's the time for a finale of course. Sayaka dashes to the other side of the creature, before conjuring a circle of notes to leap off towards it, after attempting to go through the creature, she conjures another circle to leap off and slash by it, moving quickly enough she seems to be a blur. After landing, she looks back at Homura I told you I'll be fine, sure, I'm not really used to fighting things out of nowhere, but considering its my third day I think its going pretty well. Sayaka's strike... passes right through, as if the beast were just a hologram. Indeed, its body and hands are transparent, yet this also means it can't do anything to the three. It almost seems to be waiting for something as it edges towards the tablet.

The creature seems to understand. First Sayaka's body becomes glitchy, then the world fades away pixel by pixel until they're in a black area. A few white lines give the place the impression of a room. A text box appears next to the creature. The letters are initially gibberish, but they snap themselves into a more comprehensible form. [I finally did it! Digitizing humans outside the lab is harder than I thought. So... I guess this means Mom will be proud of me! But she might be mad that I brought a strong human to stay here...]

Creature wasn't even a threat after all..... Still.... She did have a point it might be a bit easier.... Sayaka shaes her head and changes back to normal, soul gem shrinking down to a ring on her left hand Nah, I'm sure it'll be fine, after all, Mami was able to juggle school and the whole Magical Girl thing pretty easily, I'm sure I can do it to.... As soon as I find a school... With that said, Sayaka walks off, waving back to the tablet, as though saying goodbye to a new friend
