.... Just go watch a Let's Play on YouTube.I want to PLAY it still. Not watch someone else's, as it's all about choices, etc; but I'd rather skip all the puzzles.
Puzzles are good for the brain, BEEP BOOP MEOW. Without them, the game would be a glorified "visual novel."As I said, I can do puzzles, and I like Zelda games which are all about those, but I need them sparce with rewards. For Catherine, I feel the puzzles would be more of a chore to get back to what I'm really interested in. Not, oh, I want to do this, but I HAVE to. Like a commercial break on a TV show.
You say you like puzzles short with rewards? Seems kind of odd to me. It's not much of a reward if it's something easily or quickly done. If you're so interested in getting back to the story, doesn't that mean you are being rewarded for completing the puzzles? They might not be as bad as I think, but I don't want to go through the process of reselling if I do, more likely than not, find it tedious instead. Also, to reply back to the person who said it'd just be a video novel without it.... So? That's lots of games already. It's a thing, nor would I mind at all if I loved said story.
