Emerson's Armory: Genealogy of the Holy Forge, Second Generation
A young girl wanders toward a famiral Armory, she'd walk through the doors with a grin on her face and instantly move toward the swords. Mostly looking at Katanas before she glances around the shop for a bit.
It's another soothing night, the breeze as prominent as ever. Those headed out a long path fron the city find themselves at a well-built store, an Armory to be precise. Opening the front doors, a wave of heat flows through the air, and the sight of countless weapons and pieces of armor. Looking beyond the racks of steel, Emerson sits behind the counter, playing with a ball of light forned in his hand. He looks to Homura and waves as she enters, dissipating the ball of light. Hey, Homura, how goes? Looking for something new, I see. No guns today?
Kotori enters and begins to walk up to the counter, but upon seeing Homura, begins to dilly dally around the Mace section
Eito walks in,completely relaxed, upon noticing Homura,he briefly waves. "Heya Homura-chan!" He walks over to the knives, inspecting them carefully.
Homura shakes her head, a grin crossing her face as she looks at the blades. Shouldn't be so different from a Shinai, right? "No, I've been training with Kazuya... I'm not sure if you know him, but he's a pretty good swordsman I think, no expert, but his advice works out pretty well for me. Anyway, we've been training with Shinai, so uh closest to what I'm used to for now is a Katana, actually." Hmm, is it possible to mix Homulilly's magic with a weapon? likely, asking won't hurt. "If you had anything that worked well with Wind and or Darkness magic, that'd be pretty neat. I've got some of those tricks, so if I can use them with my melee weapon all the better!"
Em gives small waves to Eito and Kotori as they enter, before he smirks at Homura's mention of Kazuya. Oh, so good ol' Kazzy's teaching someone swordplay now? Figures, his Persona is literally a sword anyways, why WOULDN'T he be proficient in it. So, a katana that goes well with Wind or Darkness, eh? Lemme see what I can do. Emerson grabs a notepad and begins writing down a few things, before hustling into the back room and grabbing a handful of katanas. A few moments later, he returns to the counter holding a mid-sized katana with a purple grip. Looking over the blade, it has multiple marks that seem almost like burns. This bad boy here can take input from most magic types and manipulate that in various ways, all thanks to a certain goddess friend of mine. I do have to warn you though, too much power input and it could end up melting the weapon from the generated heat. Also, it requires a bit of focus to get the magic flowig through it, but once it starts it should keep feeding stabily on it's own. Is that good for you?
The girl nods and grins, Homulilly can't put out a whole ton of power anyways, and the blade is about the right size for her too! "Yeah, I'm sure I'll need to play around with some to get things down, but this looks about right to me Em-san! Besides, my Persona's not too great at outputting power anyways... She seems to really like her melee weapon." The girl would take hold of the blade, focusing in on Homulilly's magic as a bit of dark energy creeps up her hand. Power roughly equal to a basic Eiha spell slowing moving into the blade as she watches for it's reaction.
Hm hm hm hm hmmm Kotori has been staring at the same mace for a while now, an observant person would notice her eyes dart towards Homura every once in a while
Too focused to look at the world around him,Eito's eyes turn red as he examines the Knives. "Hmmmm...." Still looking,Eito shouts. "Hey,Emerson!" "Do you have any knives that go well with the Wind element?"
She'd absently turn over toward Kotori, the blade still in her hands as she gives the smaller girl a questioning look. "Hey, Kotori! Sorry if I was ignoring you before, I just need to talk to Em-san a bit... Um, was there a reason you were looking at me? Ooo, did you want to talk about weapons!?" The girl's face actually lights up a bit, despite her... Dislike of violence, she can't deny that the things are an interesting topic. "I'm happy to offer what little advice I can, and if it's something else... don't hesitate to say whatever you want, got that!?"

A-ahahaha.... Uhh... I.. I,,, uhh.. I was just looking at the swords! Kuz... Y'know.... I lost Kuru recently and... Uhh..... She begins pulling at her left ear, And she is most definitely NOT near the sword section A-anyway! Don't let me keep you!

The burn-like marks on the blade glow a faint black as the magic flows through it, which extends the length of the blade with a shadowy matter. Homura can feel the magic being pulled from her body by the blade. Once you gain a bit more proficiency, you could easily turn it into even different sword shapes through the darkness. Emerson turns to Eito, giving him a smile before motioning to Homura's katana. Assuming you heard my explanation for that, is that the sort of thing you're looking for?
Eito shrugs. "I guess." Eito inspects the sword with more care than even the knives "I don't really have much magic to change it around but I do have a couple ideas."
The girl twitches a bit... Christ almighty, why in the hell is Kotori so unwilling to actually open up? "Kotori, you aren't even near the swords... And as for not letting you keep me?" She'd grin at the younger girl, walking a bit closer and ruffling her hair for a moment. "You aren't keeping me! You're my friend and I like spending time with you Kotori! Just... Listen, I don't care what it's about, I'd just rather you say it than pretending you've got no problems!" Finally, she glances back to Em and nods, her shield would form on her right wrist, the blade vanishing into it. "Yeah! That should do pretty nicely for now, and it'll help with getting more used to controlling magic too! Anyway, how much for this one Em-san?"
Don't worry! It's not a problem I swear! I just.... Y'know.... It's something private. That's all...
All right, straight on it, Eito. Emerson grabs a few knives from the rack and heads back into the back room. Once again he returns a few moments later, holding a large curved dagger in his hand, with similar burn-like marks to Homura's katana. Same spiel as the sword, focus magic into it, various effects, blah blah blah. As for the cost... 1700Â¥. Emerson now turns to Homura. As for the katana, it'll be 3400Â¥.
"That's all?" Eito smiles and walks over, pulling out a couple bills, totalling 3400Â¥. "Can I have two of those?"
The girl sighs, geez really? "Listen, if you think talking might help, just please tell me? I said I'd help how I could, and um sometimes just talking about something is useful! But, if you really don't want to, that's fine Kotori." She'd then turn back to Em, the money would appear in a burst of light from her shield. Homura quickly hands it over to him with a smile on her face. "Alright, thanks, Em-san... Not sure if I'll be using it soon, but this should come in handy I'm sure!"
Right! I will! Don't worry! She turns around and stares at the knives now
Emerson accepts the money, and tosses another of the same dagger at Eito. Always good to have a melee weapon, right? Especially one as flexible as this. Anyways, thank you two for your patronage. Em gives them both a smile, relaxing his shoulders a bit now that it seems like all his customers were taken care of. He eyes down Kotori, waiting for her to approach the counter.
... Really, is she trying to make her worry? Jesus, is this what having a younger sister is like? She's still smiling, but at this point, Homura's voice and face are just a tiny bit stern. "Kotori, it's pretty obvious you were both trying to get my attention or just thinking about me, and yet trying to avoid my notice too. Seriously, you telling me not to worry just worries me more when I think about it, I get that I'm nice. But I am not stupid."
Iiiits fiiiiine! Gogogogogo! She gets impatient and starts pushing Homura towards the door
Homura sighs, simply keeping herself in place and staring at the girl. It's fairly clear she's not intending to move till she at least has some clue what's going on.
I'm not telling you! It's private! It's a secret to everybody! Nobody can know the truth!
Eito hands over the money and grabs the knives, feeling their weight. "I can work with this." Cracking his neck,he'd turn around and stare at Kotori. "Are you okay?"
She shakes her head, geez what could be this bad? "I'm sure it's not as big a deal as you think, geez it's like you think I'm gonna hate you or something... But fine, if you really don't trust me, I understand." Homura turns around, just walking to the door with a slightly sad look on her face. She'd move pretty slowly in fact but assuming Kotori didn't say anything. She'd still head home for the night.
Good! After making sure Homura was gone, Kotori runs up to the counter Umm! Mister! I need to place an order! I might not have all the money right now! But I can work off the rest! Please!
Eito, quite amused by what just happened, walks over to the counter and continues browsing weapons, though paying attention to the conversation going on.
Emerson raises an eyebrow at Kotori's request. A custom order, huh? Well, as far as cost is concerned, you don't need to pay until you pick it up, and I'm willing to split the payment over a time frame if you're okay with that. So, what is it you'd like to order?
Uhh... That girl who just bought a sword... Her buckler is really important, and she can't really use it as a shield... I was hoping you could sell me something that would cover it. Protect the machinery inside while still being useful as a means of defense? I have.... uhh.... She begins counting her coins 23,600 yen right now....
An extra layer for protection... I'd have to get measurements and other details about the shield, but sure, I can definitely do that. Anyways, like I said, no need to pay until it's complete. Emerson jots down the request on his notepad, before setting it aside. Is that everything?
Oh! And it's gotta be a secret! She can't know! That's really all I can think of.....
Em smiles, leaning forward on the counter a bit. Ah, so it's a present, is it? Well don't worry, my lips are sealed. You seem like a good friend, y'know? Keep at it.
Yeah, a christmas present... And not really... I'm just paying back.... She's done a lot for me after all.... I'll do my best to get more money before it's done.
"You're a good friend,Kotori." Eito turns to Emerson. "Thanks." He turns around and walks out.
