Mahou in the Park
It was a cold day. It was a snowy day. It was a school day. But to one Izumi, it was a perfect day to visit Inokashira Park. And so there was the heterchromiac girl in the white sweater, floral skirt, and wide-brimmed hat. Humming along to some upbeat rock song as she sat at a cloth-covered table slowly being buried in snow. A sign propped up against the table was battered and covered in snow. But she'd been keeping the most important part readable. a e Fortune Readings 500 Yen
And here comes her first customer. Only putting a strange gaming device away to toss some coins and bills onto the table, the stranger takes off his orange headphones and grins. Fortune telling, huh? Never been one for that, but I guess it's worth a shot.
A blue haired teenage boy with headphones on his ears silently waits on a bench for Kade to finish his fortune telling
Another teenager with headphones on sits next to Jiyu, waiting.
The girl at the table would practically flail when suddenly there was money on the table! Sliding her own headphones off and looking at the person who had just paid her. Never, huh? Well get ready then, because I'm going to make you believe. She would reach into a bag stuffed into the snow unceremoniously, and pull out a deck of blue cards, with a mask depicted on the back of them. She'd spread the cards out in front of her. Before speaking with a load of false bravado. So, was there something you wished to know?
Hmm... Well, I haven't really put much thought into anything, so... He takes the device out again and stares at the screen. There's usually some big event in the Nexus every so often, right? I've been wondering what it'll be this time.
Jiyu looks over to Eito just as he takes off his headphones "Hey Eito, what brings you here?"
Eito takes off his headphones as well, his eyes turning orange. "I was bored and decided to go for a walk." He motions to Izumi. "I then saw that and dicided to try it." He shrugs. "That's it."
Jiyu looks over to Izumi just as Eito motions to her "Hmm, I came here for that same reason."
A big event, huh? She'd look over the cards for a moment.... before flipping over a card. The Tower. I don't think I even needed these for that prediction. There are monsters lurking in the dark, in hidden corners. They are terrible abominations.... made from the souls of kids. That is the next great disaster you are facing. A monster so terrible, and a master so cunning.... There was a darkness that almost seemed to encroach upon Izumi as she continued, before it suddenly seemed to abate. Of course that's only if the junctions of fate brings you there. Maybe you can stop this monster before it is born.
The young man known as Quintus would enter the park in a thick black overcoat. He seemed to wear it in a much more loose fashion than usual allowing his dark green long sleeve shirt to be seen easily underneath. He does not have headphones as he is an oddity in the Nexus supposedly. He would look around almost absent mindedly as he walked around. Occasionally one could almost swear they saw a glimmer of gold appear around him in seemingly random places. "I've seen so many people where headphones these days. Guess it's in style here or something. This is the city, afterall. Wonder what everyone's always listening to though."

"What luck." Eito smiles sarcastically and leans back. "Anyway, anything interesting happen lately?" "Aside from the whole thing about a big-ass monster coming down from the moon to kill us all."
(edited by Eito)
Hm. That should be... interesting. Kade almost seems excited as Izumi explains her prediction. He makes a mental note to keep an eye out for the monster. And to be there to watch when it happens. Thanks for the info. Better let these guys get a turn. He waves, then walks over to a bench to relax.
"Uhh, there hasn't been that much going on since that monster came along. Except when that same monster almost blew me off of a giant tower."
She nods at Kade Beware the red eyes in Shibuya! She'd then look at Quintus, and then look a little closer.... I was listening to music, actually. It can be wonderful for inspiration. Oh, especially show openings! They're always upbeat.

"Cool." Eito pats him on the shoulder and once again motions to Izumi. "Your turn, homeboy."
(edited by Eito)
Jiyu looks over to Izumi once again but doesn't get up "I'm gonna let that other guy go before me." He then gestures over to Quintus
Quintus was a little suprised to receive and answer and would turn to face Izumi. "Oh, guess I can't really argue with that. Uh, why us everyone gathered together like this anyway?" Suddenly Izumi might notice something that for what ever reason seems hard to notice. A almost transparent image of a golden snake would be coiled around Quintus' arm. He didn't seem to notice this himself at all but if one listened closely as well they might also hear it gently slithering as it moves along his arm.

"Fair enough." "..." "Is-Is that a fucking ghost snake coiling around him?"
I don't know why. Perhaps everyone is bored, or perhaps the gravity of the future attracts them together... She would then notice the mysterious golden snake vision. You! Are you a man possessed!? She'd make a finger cross, giving a good look at the ring adorning one of her hands. Even as she mutters. "Why did it have to be snakes?"
Upon hearing Eito mention the ghost snake around Quintus's arm, he takes a look at it "It looks like it. It could be one of his powers for all we know."
Quintus would be a little confused by everyone's remarks as he back a away. He didn't seem to notice the snake at all and thus would be confused as to what they're talking about. "Snake? What snake? I'm pretty sure I'm not possessed and I don't know what you mean by a snake." The golden snake would continues slithering about. It would climb to the top of Quintus shoulders before looking directly at Eito. It's eyes were like emeralds, in fact, there was no white to them and they in fact looked like they were made of gemstones. When it slithered it's tongue it would come out in a silver metallic color as well.
Eito raises one of his eyebrows as he stares at the snake. "Hssssss." He wasn't really sure why he hissed at the snake, but he felt like he had to.
*A young girl walks, noticing the group in the area, wanders over to see what is going on. She looks l around the group, checking to make sure no-one looks familiar before sighing in relief.*
You do not notice it? It's crawling all over you. A metal snake! She'd point at the current location of the snake.
Jiyu looks over to Eito, not even questioning why he even hissed at the snake. He would then stare off into space for no apparent reason other than thinking about something.
*Latus looks at the snake and blinks* Should I kill it or pet it?
The snake would respond by tilting its head at Eito before crawling into Quintus’ coat. After it did this all signs of it would seem to vanish. “No, I really don’t see any snake. Not sure what you’re all going on about.”
"There was a weird gem snake coiling around you." Eito tilts his head to the side. "You're telling me you didn't see or feel it?" "It just went inside your coat."
Could it be the snake is apart of him? Ohhhh, like some kind of spiritual guardian. *She'd laugh a bit before collecting her spread out cards back into a deck.* I wonder if it's like those Persona things...
Quintus would look suspiciously at the group. He wasn't sure exactly why they claimed to have seen a snake near him as he couldn't even feel it's presence in the area. Now that they seemed to calm down again he's go back to his previous question. "Uh, so, is anyone gonna tell me what's going on?"
"Ask the fortune teller." "It's your turn."
We've told you. You had a metal snake climbing all over you. Tell me, did anything strange happen to you recently? Maybe.... paranormal?
It looked cool. I wanted to pet it. Now I'm slightly sad. Eis would be disappointed in me.
"S-strange..." Quintus didn't exactly want to say that he was involved with the prevention the the world's destruction recently. Attention was never something he liked having a lot of and he had even asked people there not to mention him as some sort of savior of any kind. Though he could probably say his whole expierence here had been pretty paranormal. One if his first experiences in this world was almost being drowned by a group of undead sailors and losing his mind. "I guess, you could say a lot of that nature has happened to me."
Perhaps that is where your snake friend came from. Have you ever had any interactions with snakes before?
Jiyu snaps out of his small trance and looks at the conversation between Quintus and Izumi "Is he finally doing his fortune telling?"
Quintus would try and think on this question. He didn’t feel like he had much connection with any snake before. “I remember that a snake girl or something convinced this guy to try and kill me. Does that count? Other than that I don’t think I’ve had any connection with snakes.”
A snake girl, huh? Hmm.... now where did that come from? Could she have given you a snake? Then why is it not killing you? Very weird.... She'd shuffle through her deck, before pulling out a single card. The Moon. A real mystery.
"Tarot cards? I think I've seen those a couple times before..." He thought about talking about the strange room he had once visited with the old man who had claimed he was late. That was a little after he has first come here but even he knew that it would sound ridiculous. He remembered that the man had shown him a very specific set of cards. The primary one he remembered was the emperor. He began to wonder who this fortune tell was as well. Maybe she could help him figure something out something as well. "So, if your a fortune teller could you try to read my fortune as well? I don't know if I really believe in this kind if stuff but maybe you could help me?"
Your fortune, hmm? She takes her deck and expertly spreads it out upon the snowy table... First, I think I should know a bit more about you. Before Quintus could even answer, she would flip one of the cards. The skull is unmistakable, death. Death, hm? Metamorphosis, change.... and death. Tell me, have you had a near death experience lately?
He would almost look suprised but thinking about it He's had a few experiences he'd call near death. Not to mention his incident before even ending up in this world. "I feel like I've had never ending near death incidents...Not that I'm complaining anymore. I feel like I've kind of dragged myself into most of them."
Nana walks into the park, seeing the fortune teller and approaching, smiling playfully Hello! ............ 500? That sounds good. I don't put much stock into fortune telling, But I'll give it a try.
Hmm, I see. Well then, perhaps this means you have finally reached a point of change. She would then flip another card, adjacent to Death, it was Judgement. Hmm.... it seems that what has changed is you have found your purpose in life? Or perhaps found new life. You are well on your way down the road to unlocking your true ending. All I could suggest is that you remember what you have recently learned, for the next Junction of Fate is no doubt close at hand. She would seem to almost darken before saying one last line. And it likely has to do with that snake. She'd linger on the e for a moment, staring right at Quintus, before abruptly smiling. That'll be 500 yen, please!
Eito starts tapping Jiyu on the shoulder again. "Yo,it's your turn."
"I know, I know." Jiyu slowly gets up, stretches a bit from sitting on the bench for too long, and walks over to Izumi
Quintus would almost seem a bit shaken by the fortune tellers words. It almost seemed mystic in a way. He wasn't sure if he should believe her fortune but it sounded right or at least he knew it was meant to sound right. Regardless he knew he had to pay the woman for her time at very least so He'd pull out his wallet and take out 500 Yen. "A new perspective on life or maybe a new life. I wonder if I have really changed..." He would leave the 500 Yen with the women before starting to wonder off in deep thought.

I wouldn't worry too much. Fate can be a tricky thing. There's a lot of junctions and important choices to make. Change one thing, and your entire destiny can be thrown off. She would then greet Jiyu even as she was collecting Quintus' money. Oh? Another customer? It's my lucky day. So, was there something you wanted to know?
Jiyu looks at Izumi with his hands in his pockets "All I want to know is what will await me in the future. Like if I'll be dead or alive, lucky or unlucky, that's all."
I wouldn't put that much faith in luck, honestly. She'd start shuffling the cards regardless... Where I come from we have a show. Where the unluckiest man in the world ended up becoming a hero via his ability to become friends with seemingly-evil monsters. There were also trains involved, it was weird like that. As for your fate.... She only needs to flip one card this time. Ironically, perhaps, the Chariot. Confidence, command, control... a leader. If all breaks right, alive, lucky, and a leader you'll become.
"A leader..." Jiyu looks down for a few seconds, thinking to himself before looking back up at Izumi "Is there anything else that I need to know?"
Anything else.... Beware the puppet monster. Don't listen to the red eye's lies. And oh yeah, time is made up of infinite possibilities if you work hard enough for them. .... And you owe me 500 yen. *She starts to pack up the cards, and even the table... it seems her time for today is at an end.*
(edited by Izumi)
"Alright then." Jiyu reaches in his pocket, pulls out 500 yen, and sets it on the table "Thank you for the reading." Jiyu then walks away to a different part of the park
"Oh,you gotta be kidding me." Eito sighs. "Seems patience doesn't always work out." "Whatever,I have a season to watch." Eito's eyes turn yellow as he re-adjusts his glasses and puts on his headphones. He starts walking away.
OOC: Sorry folks but life calls and time marches on. I'll be back probably tomorrow since I know two people were still waiting.
OOC:Meh,I was gonna go to bed anyway,so I don't really care. See you later.
