In Sickness and Despair
"Have you heard those rumors?" One student asked "About the newbie? Heard he'll be taking a day off" Said another student. In the quiet town of Verden, a young male just moved there. His name was Dune, he wasn't nice or friendly but he was caring in the least bit. He moved in with his Uncle and Older Brother due to his Mother and Father passing away from an unknown sickness. Dune was being rumored about by the school in the forest-like town. "A lotta vegetation here." Dune says to himself walking to the school for his first day. His first day wasn't that good, he barely understood any of the Japanese, due to being half Canadian. Once school is over Dune walks outside and sees someone by the gates. Dune simply decided to talk with him "Hey there!" Dune said to his friend (Anyone can join this RP but things must be story relevant mostly.)
Eito
"Heya!" Eito is leaning up against the gates,drinking some soda.

Dune walks up closer to the person "Hey, name's Dune, you prolly heard rumors," Dune speaks while looking at the brand of soda "Huh, never had that type of soda, might try it." Dune says smiling at his friend.
Eito
OOC:Sorry for late reply. BTW, is every one of your RPs separate?

OOC:Cool. "Rumors are a constant." "Being the manipulative nerd that I am,I hear all of them." Eito shrugs. "You don't seem as bad as they say." He pulls out another soda from his book bag and throws it at Dune.

Dune catches the soda and opens it, taking a sip "It seems this town has a lot of nature and vegetation." Dune smiles "Ain't a problem for me... But how bad do those rumors make me look?" Dune asks curiously about the rumors and drinking his soda.
Eito
"On one side,you're a rude,arrogant and somewhat racist foreign asshole." "On the other,you're an exotic,respectful,intelligent foreigner who is altogether great." Eito shrugs again. "Two extremes and you're caught in the middle." The teen sighs and cracks his neck before taking another sip. "As for the town's vegetation,the mayor's an enviromentalist." "Bit preachy,but at least it adds some color to this place."

"Yeah true," Dune finishes his soda and crushes the can to fit it in his pocket "Wouldn't want this place ending up like that old town Inaba, heard stories on the news about fog that was likely caused due to pollution there." Dune looks around "Also heard some rumors about some weird sickness that's been spreading. But I might as well tell you about myself..." Dune says as he sets his hand on his forehead "As you likely heard i'm half Canadian. My Mom is Greek and Dad is Canadian. But both Mom and Dad died by an unknown sickness, so now I moved in here with my Uncle and Older Brother." Dune says giving a not so elaborate recalling of why he's here.
Eito
Eito sighs and chugs down the soda. "Sounds rough." "Hey,on the upside,at least you and I have shared Greek heritage." "That's pretty cool."

"Ain't as rough as it sounds, my Dad abused me and my Mom was a deadbeat anyway." Dune says stretching his arms "So being with my Uncle is a blessing in disguise." Dune looks up "So, tonight i'm free considering I don't have any homework, thank god." Dune pulls out a brochure of the town from his backpack "Seems like there's a pretty good Ramen place 'round here." "You wanna stop by there and get something to eat?" Dune pulls out about 10,000 Yen "I know it ain't much but it should be enough for two bowls of Ramen."
Eito
I believe you mean,1000 yen? 10,000 is 100 dollars,more than enough for plenty of bowls.

Eito
"I got more,we can share the cash." Eito finishes the soda, crumples it up and throws it into a trashcan. "Come on." Eito starts walking off.

Dune follows close behind looking around the town like he's a tourist. "This place is pretty awesome now that I think about it..." Dune looks around as he sees someone with a strange white surgeon mask on "That guy is pretty weird, he must believe those sickness rumors." Dune chuckles as he continues following Eito.
Eito
"Meh, it's pretty common here in Japan." Eito shrugs as he looks at his phone, apparently knowing where to go by instinct.

"Yeah some shit about overpopulation." Dune pulls out his phone which looks fairly modern he goes on an app that had a strange hat and mask logo on it "God these monthly question updates, tough to keep track of..." Dune presses a button on the phone as he puts it away "So are we getting close?" Dune asks as he keeps looking around.
Eito
"Pretty close." Eito raises one finger, as if to seem informative. "It's also not about overpopulation, in fact, there is a distinct lack of population here." "Government's been trying to fix that for the last couple of years." Eito starts humming some foreign song.
Rokinssia
Dune snickers "Tokyo is proof they haven't." Dune tries humming the song to himself to see if he heard it. "Well I bet the Mayor here is likely some kinda weirdo." Dune says changing any distinct topic of conversation there was. "Say what class ARE you in? I'm in 2-1."
Eito
"Same." Eito's eyes narrow. "How the fuck haven't we seen each other yet?"
Rokinssia
"Likely the fact because you were probably a class full of 25 loud students away from each other." Dune looks down "Japanese is so difficult to learn... And people say English is one of the toughest languages to learn, that's bullshit..." Dune looks up and prays that the shop is near.
Eito
"Japanese is difficult as fuck." Eito shrugs and stops in front of a relatively big building. "Here we are."
Rokinssia
"The bigger the building the better the ramen!" Dune says almost instantly charging in and sitting at a table. Dune seems really excited about this, as he waits for Eito to catch up.
Eito
"Chill out, sheesh." Eito casually walks to a table, waving at a waitress. "You know what you want?"
Rokinssia
"I'll just have a simple bowl, nothing special, considering my budget." "You?"
Eito
"Same." Eito sits down,pulling out his phone and taps on an red app with an eye on it. "Anyway, how's your experience been so far?"
Rokinssia
"Feels like being in a bird cage then the door opens." Dune said as he catches a quick glance of the app "What is that?" Dune asks pointing to his phone "The app I mean,"
Eito
"I dunno, it just appeared on my phone one day and I can't get rid of it." Eito relaxes back into his seat and continues looking at the app.

"Well let's see what it's all about!" Dune says looking excited about whatever could happen.

Eito
"Hmmmm,nothing's happening..." Eito taps the phone a couple more times before sighing and getting up. "Whatever,i'm gonna have to get it checked out." "I'm gonna go give our orders now." Eito walks to the counter and starts talking.

"Alright, thanks," Dune thinks about the strange eye "I swear I saw something similar to that..." Dune sighs and forgets about it, as he looks at Eito getting the ramen "My brother has been acting like the whole town is his film set..." Dune sighs as he thinks for a minute.
Eito
Eito soon returns with 2 big bowls of ramen. He sets then on the table and sits down. "Itadakimasu." Eito grabs some chopsticks and starts eating slowly. "What was that about your brother?"
Eito
OOC:And we're back.

"My Older Brother, Niko, treats this town like it's his film set and he's the producer..." Dune chuckles "Man, i'm just glad that's not true." Dune grabs his chopsticks and withing mere seconds his bowl is empty "I love ramen..." Dune says as he then grabs his forehead. "Man i'm feeling kinda light-headed for some reason."
Eito
"Me too..." Eito finishes as well. "I already paid,so come on,let's get outta here."

"Alright thanks." "You're awesome." Dune looks around and stands up and then walks outside of the building.
Eito
"Aw, shucks." Eito fakes embarrasment and walks out of the ramen shop. "Come on,let's go through this alley, it's a shortcut." Eito starts confidently walking to a side alley.
Rokinssia
"I don't remember the sky looking so dark, we were in there until evening?" Dune seems shocked as the sky is nearly pitch black Dune follows Eito very closely as they cross the alleyway.
Eito
"Weird..." Once the two pass through the alley, they find that a collosal building is now in the place of the nearby ones. There are cameras, people in suits, clowns and many other similarly stupid looking people walking around, attempting to get in front of the cameras whenever they automatically take photos or videos, yet always failing. "What the fuck?!"
Rokinssia
"This isn't how I remember the town..." Dune steps back in fear "What the actual hell is going on?" Dune looks at some men who look almost like bouncers at a night club. "Maybe we should examine this... THING."
Eito
"Should we?" "I'm kinda intimidated, to be honest." Eito steps back.
Rokinssia
Just as soon as Eito steps back one of the bouncer looking people walks up to Dune and Eito "What are you doing out here? You're VIP!" The strange Bouncer says "And is this a new actor?" The Bouncer continues, "Either way you will need to see the boss..." The bouncer says as Dune comes up with a quick idea. "Yeah he's an actor, i'm taking him to the boss." Dune whispers to Eito quickly "Go along with it, we need to see what's going on." "Ah, follow me then," The Bouncer says walking as Dune signals Eito to follow.
Eito
Eito briefly starts looking around him, making worried noises. After Dune's whisper,he mouths 'Are you fucking crazy?' though takes a deep breath and follows Dune. "Man, this is my first role!" "I'm excited!"

"Yeah, the boss has a very Special role for you..." The Bouncer says as he enters an elevator Dune and Eito obviously follow and get taken to a fancy room with a sign on the door saying 'Producer' "Boss, the VIP brought a new actor." Says the Bouncer leaving the room someone who looks like Dune's Brother in a tux starts to speak "It's great knowing we have so many actors and actresses!" The person says "And they're all wrapped around my finger! Obeying the script I make!" He says Dune whispers to Eito "That guy looks a lot like my brother..." Dune tries to wear a look that shows he's serious.
Eito
"He-Hello sir." Eito bows somewhat messily. "So, what's my role?"

"You're going to be playing the role in a movie where you get constantly abused, and driven to suicide..." Niko says "And it's all LIVE ACTION!" Niko continues "Ummmm Niko do you really think that's a good idea?" Says Dune Niko glances at him "Don't worry about this low-life peasant!" Niko says "We are like royalty here!" Dune gives a look of worry at Eito.
Eito
"Uh, will-will we be using CGI?" Eito briefly stares at Dune,mouthing what are probably numerous insults

Niko looks at Eito and laughs "No! Not at all," Dune does some quick thinking and adapts "Niko, I don't approve of this..." Niko directs his attention to his brother, his golden eyes staring directly into him. "That wasn't in the script..." Niko says as he walks to Dune "Get with the script!" Niko says punching him as second Dune walks into the room in a tux. "Sorry i'm late boss... Hmmm who is this imposter?" The Dune that walked in says.
Eito
"Oh shit." Eito steps back,putting his hand near his jacket. "Boss, who the fuck is this guy?"

"To think someone would steal my VIP's name!" Niko says looking at the Dune in his school uniform "You really are low! GUARDS! TAKE HIM AWAY!" Niko yelled as the Bouncer looking guy came in and took the 'Real' Dune away. "As for you Actor," Niko says "We should report him to the 'you know where'." The Dune in a suit says "Smart thinking," Niko says a heavy force hits Eito in the back of the head.
Eito
Eito falls to the ground, unconscious.

"Hey, you alive?" Says a familiar voice to the unconscious Eito "I swear to god wake up!" The voice yells as Eito feels a heavy shaking on his body.
Eito
"Hm?" Eito gorggily wakes up,looking aroung him. "Wha-What's going on?"
Rokinssia
"I honestly can't tell you..." Dune looks around the room as it seems they're on a prison TV set "ACTION" A voice cries from afar as everyone starts screaming. "What the fuck?" Dune says in genuine shock.
Eito
"What the shit!?" Eito starts crawling back before getting up and looking around him. "What the fuck is happening?"
Rokinssia
"I don't know..." "Cut!" Calls out a voice sounding like Niko as he walks toward the cell the two are captive in. "You scared? You want me to help you with your homework? You were a deadbeat the second I saw you!" Niko says "Screw you!" Dune replies "You look down on everyone because of your shitty wants!" Dune screams as the whole building goes silent Niko opens and enters the prison cell and punches Dune to the ground.. Niko keeps punching and punching him over and over.
Eito
"Oh, fuck this!" Eito reaches for the knife inside his jacket.
Rokinssia
"SET 65 DISTURBANCE DETECTED" A P.A system says as a Bouncer runs in and apprehends Eito "It could've been..." Dune say "Hmph..." Dune sighs as a strange burst of wind flies from him as a mask appears on his face, the mask is dark blue and covers his eyes and nose. "Ghhhh," Dune grunts as he tries to take his mask off, He starts struggling as the guard stops pinning Eito down... Dune tears the mask off from his face as his face gets drenched in blood.
Eito
"Oh, I know where this is going!" Eito starts crawling back, eventually hitting the wall.
Rokinssia
Eventually the blood disappears as Dune's uniform changes to match that of a classy thief... "Come! Hercules!" A muscular figure with a beard, long hair and old school clothing appears "Gah! What the fucking shit!" Niko says as a guard tries to attack Dune but he jumps up and kicks the guard down "We gotta move." Dune says as he pulls Eito up and starts running the pathway out.
Eito
"The shit?" Eito stumbles up and starts running after Dune. "This is getting too weird for me!"
Rokinssia
Running out the exit Dune and Eito make it to the alleyway and hear a voice "You have returned to the 'Real World' welcome back!" Dune looks really tired as he's breathing heavily and the sky is really dark.
Eito
"First of all:What the fuck." "Second of all:What the fuck." "Third of all:What.The.Fuck." Eito,hands on his knees, is breathing heavily.
Rokinssia
"Answer: I don't fucking know..." "But whatever happened the town is normal now, see you in school tomorrow..." Dune says slugging his way to a nearby house.
Eito
Eito, still relatively confused, walks away in the direction of his house. OOC:Cool thread. Can I ask a couple questions?

4/12. Classroom 2-1. Dune walks into the classroom and sees Eito sitting at his desk before the day starts "So about yesterday..." Dune begins

Eito raises his hand and shows Dune his palm. "I don't wanna talk about it right now." Eito goes back to scribbling something. Dune notices he has dark circles under his eyes. OOC:Righto. First,are you ever going to continue previous threads? OOC:Second,how much longer is this thread going to go on for? OOC:Will you ever get a goddamn PFP?

First: Likely not, it all depends on my thoughts of the current state of the project Second: I think this might be the first one I finish and make a full story for I'll get one eventually, might take a bit though. "Hey are you okay?" Dune asks looking at the circles, "If you want to talk with someone i'm all ears."
Eito
"Just stop." "I stayed up all fucking night, drawing, thinking, planning." Eito suddenly turns to face Dune. "And you know what I realized?" "That I wasn't ready for this." "So fuck off and let me think it over." "We can chat it out after class." "On the rooftop." Eito once again goes back to scribbling what Dune recognises as his mask.

Dune looks surprised as he sits down and class starts, The bell rings and Dune walks up a flight of stairs to the Rooftop, there he waits for Eito. "Is he okay?" Dune questions to himself "Why was he drawing that mask?"
Eito
Eito walks up the stairs, still drawing a near complete mask. "Alright." Eito stops drawing and points his pencil at Dune once he reaches the rooftop. "We need to fucking talk." "What in the fuck happened yesterday?" Eito is quite obviously irritated.

"I don't know..." Dune admits while looking weirded at Eito's attitude "Is there something bothering you other then that... Place..."

"No,what are you talking about? No, no, no, no, no, i'm fine, just fucking fine." Eito is pacing around. "You and I." "Once we're done with this,we're going back."

"What the fuck are you talking going back where?" Dune seems to be really nervous,
Eito
Eito walks up to Dune and grabs his shirt. "Back to that evil fucking studio." "Once school finishes, either you're going with me or i'm going alone." Eito lets Dune go and backs up.

"Well you nearly died, and with that strange thing I have I think i'll help you... I won't hold you back." Dune looks worried at he soon enough hears a bell and heads back to class.
Eito
"Good." Eito walks back to class quickly, sits on his desk and gets back to scribbling. At least for a little bit. He's soon napping.

OOC:Yo, I gotta go to bed. Mind just stopping here and continuing the story in a new thread?

The bell rings and the day ends as Dune checks his phone and sees a weird menu "Name, Place and Distortion?" Dune mumbles as he looks at Eito.
