SMT Imagine
Does anyone have it? Just wondering. If you don't know, it's an SMT MMORPG.
Unfortunately, the game shut down back in 2016. There are probably a few private servers still around, though.
I remember some people talking about playing it on a chinese server back when I joined around May, but I don't know if that server is still running or if anyone is still playing it.
Um, my info is a bit out of date. Hibiki will probably be a better resource for this. But from what I know, the chinese server is dead with no plans of return, and currently a different team's efforts to remake the latest build of the game before it shut down in english and with P2W elements removed is well underway, and making good progress. They won't make servers, just the game. I haven't kept up with their progress in some time, but looking into that will probably be your best bet to play it. A good chunk of us played it back during the summer, and I'd love to do it again.
The Chinese server is very still alive, actually. It was just down temporarily due to domain issues. I was playing like last week actually. As for the English server, that's a bit of a mess... There's actually a few different projects going, and various Discord servers for them, but there has apparently been some drama involved. If you're interested in the English private server, there is one playable, kind of, under the name Re:IMAGINE, though the server is being remade from scratch and is very glitch-y, and ironically isn't currently in English from what I have seen. The English server is still in progress but is more up-to-date. Also it's in Japanese. The Chinese server is using an outdated version of the game, but is mostly functional, and can be played in English. Point is, the English server might be fun to play to keep up with things and experience it as it develops, but the Chinese server is more complete and playable, and at the moment, my preferred method to play.

Where can I download it? I’m not really finding anything except for the english server and a google drive download for a video of someone playing it. That’s it.
Bump, because the more I hear about Imagine being awesome, the more I want to play it :V

Sorry I am a bit late with this, hadn't noticed a response. If you ever need me be aware you can PM me. Even if I'm not online on PMs, I'm usually on the forums and I will receive the notification here. Anyway, bear with me, this can be a lil' annoying but since you said you found the English stuff, I'll guide you on accessing the Chinese private server, and patch it into English. First you want to download the old English client from here and install it. Since this is client for the official release that shut down, it won't work on its own, but you'll need it to play in English. https://gamefront.online/files/13323597/MegaTenSetup_2009_02_18.exe Once that is done you want to download the Chinese server files from here. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B0yZsz4xacsmY3ppeGVudWhoczA Once you have both of those, open the root folder for the English client on your computer. It will probably be 'C:\AeriaGames\MegaTen' unless you installed it elsewhere. Next copy the Chinese files to the client folder. Do NOT overwrite subfolders, 'ImagineClient.exe', or 'ImagineOptions.exe'. Then make an account in the top right corner here, having a translator might help. This part can be finicky I here, but I've never had a problem. http://imagine.acg7.com Then open 'ImagineClient.exe' and log in, and it should be fine. If something goes wrong, I'm not sure what to tell you.
Thank you for this advice. How long (On average) should it take to fully set up?
No idea. Kinda hard to tell, 'cuz depending on your computer, downloading the server files could take up to a few hours.
Oh wow. They only allow 1 hour at the library, so I was wondering.
Ahh yes, SMT Imagine's private server. Was really fun.
