The Back Alleyway Tavern
*You were walking through an alleyway for your own personal reasons an you ended up finding a neo lighten sign above a door saying "The Back Alleyway Tavern", you desised to enter it for either from curiosity or other reasons* *When you entered you see a bunch of bikers, thieves, cops and a bunch of other people sitting around in different booths taking, drink, eating, planning. You could also seen some doors that lead to somewhere, you can see a Orange haired, white eyed, cowboy looking boy running the bar, above him is a board saying "THE LIST" their were some pictures of people* *The boy running the bar looked at you* Howdy newcomer, what brings you here to my tavern
Naoto-Shirogane
"Ummmm, what exactly is going on here?" Naoto asks as she came in pursuit of a criminal, she though was still wearing masculine attire. Naoto walks up to the person, seemingly running this bar "Who exactly are you. And what's going on?"

*Naby would look at Naoto* I'm Naby and what do you think is going on, I'm running this tavern where from the people of the highest part of the government to the lowest of criminals can come and relax with no worries of anything happening to them

Naoto looks in disappointment as she sees police talking with low criminals and even catches a slight glimpse of the one she's after. "I guess, I'll just take a quick shot, what's the cost for that?" Naoto asks taking her wallet out. Still disgusted at this place, looks at the bartender "Why did you even make this place? And how'd you get the governments approval?"

It's on the house. Just take what you want for today Well, I wanted a place to stay where I can meet with all kinds of people... and I paided them a shit ton of money and some of the people there needed to return the favor for me helping them

"So your saying that this single tavern in this alley, goes against all laws and has laws of it's own, approved by the higher ups in the government?" Naoto asks as she continues looking around, at this point revealing she's still in high school would be fatal.

Yep *The cowboy would laugh to himself before speaking* I'm kinda surprised that your not asking questions like "Why are you running this since you look so young" or like "What age restrictions are their"

"That's actually the next question I have, because letting all these criminals into "Your World" is considered becoming their accomplice, so I as a detective have the right to interrogate you," Naoto says looking right into the tender's eyes "What IS the age restriction?"

Ok then Detective The age restriction is none besides alcohol which you're going have to be an adult... So a kid could come in here and just relax. Don't worry, we have people to watch over the kids here to make sure there safe

Pardon me, but am I interrupting something? If so, my question can wait until later. The new voice comes from a red-haired man, who taps his cane against the ground. He wears a fancy suit and top hat, and the gleam of a gold-colored chain can be seen coming out of one of his pockets.

"So in here, a killer like Tohru Adachi would be off the hook?" Naoto looks about, deciding to formally introduce herself to the tender "Naoto Shirogane, the so-called Detective Prince."

Even doh I hate Killers and if they're on my list, they're off the hook only in this room! but if their on The List anyone can stop them in this room *Naby would look at the red head* Well I am talking to a detective, so yeah

"So that's how this place's laws work? The list above you shows who's immortal here?" Naoto looks at the list "That will be all, i'll just take water." Naoto sits right at the bar, and looks at the newcomer, not bothering to talk she simply waves.

...I'll take that as a yes. I am questioning your sanity for allowing criminals in here, but then again, this is shady both in name and in policy. The man sighs, looking around. He seems more disappointed than worried. But would it be too much trouble to ask where I have ended up?

"Some alleyway tavern, not even I know," Naoto says "I mean, this place is shady, the criminal I was in pursuit of is here after all," Naoto looks at the list and sees the criminal's name "Dammit." "So who're you?" Naoto asks the stranger, "As you might've heard, I'm Naoto Shirogane, a detective."

"The Nexus?" Naoto asks shocked "Is this the same as the TV world?" Naoto asks quietly to herself. "Then I'd be able to..." Naoto calms down.

No... the TV world is a thing here but you pretty much left your universe and ended up here like everyone else in the world, you might be able to find the killer... and your friends

"So are you saying someone like Yosuke, or Kanji could be here?!" Naoto asks slightly shocked, "So the thing is, that this is another world, and that's why criminals can't be caught here, because it's another plain of existence?"

Yes this is another world but inside of this room, I say in this room! criminals cant be caught here but if they're on the list they can be caught in this room... But outside of this building is just a normal world well not normal as you think since the Nexus is fucking crazy... one day you can have a day of peace another your fighting 100 demons while having your arm cut off

ooc: That took much longer than expected. Shoveling a driveway is hard. Having been listening this whole time, the man finally speaks up. So this is another world? I'll have to ask around to confirm that fact. But I forgot to introduce myself. Damon Lumien. He bows, taking off his hat. But, pray tell, why do you harbor criminals here? Is it due to some situation I am not aware of? Or are you one yourself?

Hm... a noble goal, yet also one with numerous flaws. Although I suppose the "Robin Hood" thing could be justified. No matter. Even if I'm surrounded by criminals, none of them can hurt me. He sits down at the counter. Let me see... what currency is used here? This is another world, after all.
