Shibuya Diner
{Akama smiled in relief as his eyes finally lay on the sign of "Shibuya Diner". Hailing from the countryside Akama was definitely a stranger to the greater Tokyo area. Yet this little nook between a wall and a pharmacy now belonged to him. All it took was the death of his grandfather and off he was sent to claim ownership of the property. Knowing these facts Akama still couldn't believe that he was here in the actual big city. He was almost even cowed by the sleek red entryway in front of him hinting at an even nicer establishment up the stairs.} C'mon Akama you can do this. {In spite of his personal feelings Akama began to climb the steps after a personal cheer. He knew he was tasked with his grandfather's legacy and he refused to run. Thus opening the glass doors at the top of the steps he was met with...} {A huge dining space that was an odd mix of old and new. Many sleek looking booths filled the area with plush seats and a standard wooden table. Yet they were separated by crossed sections of wood that provided a sort of barrier while allowing people to still look around. The place itself was dimly lit with a few lights at the top and lamps next to each table. Creating a calming atmosphere that was rare among most bustling shibuya cafes. Random assortments of paintings, paddles, and even sections of brick wall aligned against the many booths. To finish the effect was a standard counter with stool chairs and equipment behind it.} {Akama relaxed as he inspected this area feeling more at home then he did the last few hours wandering Shibuya.} Haha my grandfather had good taste. Lucky me. {Feeling as if he fit in once more Akama finally flipped the close sign to open on the door and waited for patrons. He was never one for wasting time willy nilly, Not when he had a job to carry out.}
The Five Guiding Principles of Sibuya Diner As created by the late Akame Ryo 1. Whatever you destroy you pay for 2. Thou shalt not bring in story troubles that lie elsewhere (Anything plot direct like killing ppl, or plot events. You are free to discuss it.) 3. The diner is welcome to all that are respectful 4. This diner exists till it's purpose is completed 5. Fun is a must

(A greenish 7'3 man walks in)...well at lest I ain't a cafe...I think
*Akama stands behind the counter still wiping off the remaining dust on it. He greets his first patron with a subdued smile and lowers his head once again to wipe.* Nope this my first customer is a diner which is a bit more foreign. If you wished for a cafe then you probably missed the ones across the street. There are plenty to be found for some reason.
(edited by Akama)
(A girl with flowing long white hair and eyes barely open walks in with a serene smile. In the little of her eyes that are show her pupils are visably red with her corneas being a dark black color. She wears a golden dress of sorts as she approaches the counter.) "Food, I want to eat. I'm hungry. So very hungry."
It was starting to get a little late as Sayaka finished her deliveries. It being a weekend the girl didn't have school today and so, with her little business out of the way, the blue-haired middle-schooler walks down the city streets. She catches sight of this quaint little diner next to a pharmacy and, after checking her schoolbag to see how much money she has, nods and confidently walks inside, taking a seat at the counter. She spins around in her chair a little, taking a long look at all the various decorations. Kinda looks like they were tryin' to appeal to all sorts of people, but the effect it has on her is more... Chaotic. The girl speaks up to no one in particular So, how long you been around these parts? I can't believe I just never noticed this little diner, but then again I'm fairly new myself. Been in the area a little over a month. After this offhand comment, the girl turns to the Akama with a grin So, I take it you've got a menu right? Or am I just supposed to guess? You'd be surprised how often that happens.
(Akama finds that he can't help, but stare at the new girl's corneas since they are so different. When his old classmates said Tokyo was different they sure did mean it. He then shakes his head for focus and smiles at the girl.) Well then your in long Miss. We got all sorts of food here from parfaits to something more traditional like sushi. (He pulls out a tiny notepad from his hood and waits attentively.) Just tell me what you want and i'll have it out in five minutes or less. Umm just don't count me on that. (He then notices Sayaka and turns to face her.) Well this place just opened up today. As for the menu ... Well I don't quite know yet. The last owner kind of didn't tell me about one.
(edited by Akama)
(The girl takes a moment to try to focus in on what's being said to her as if not even aware of where she was for a moment. Her attention snaps back as if she reawakens and her eyes open a little more to further show of the strange coloration.) "I want fish then. Cooked, raw, however you can make it though maybe it'd be best raw. Also I feel like I should ask since places like this and people like you desire more. Do you accept this as currency?" (The girl would seem to drop a gold coin onto the counter of her once empty hand. The coin would in fact completely be made of gold but would have a strange almost overly metallic smell to it.)
(Akame palms the gold coin in his hand and is instantly hit by the strange smell of it. Could it be fake currency he wonders. If it were then he shouldn't accept it since this place is a business. But staring back up at the hungry girl in front of him he finds that he doesn't have it in him to refuse. After all she is very hungry.) Yep this is more then enough for our sushi special. Give me a few minutes and I should have a platter out for you. (He moves to the back wall of the counter and faces his back to the others. His focus is now on making some quality sushi.)
(The girl's eyes narrow as she smiles more happily than before. She would seem to laugh a little but it sounded more like laughter one might here if someone just told a joke rather than a laughter of pure joy.) "I hope it tastes good! I like when things are good. They should always be good!"
(He then sits down) surprise me mate
Well of course it will be good! I come from an entire lineage of chefs! (As Akama says this nervous beads of sweat form on his forehead since he fails to mention one key things. He happens to be the worst cook in his family .... but hey the spirit of his talented grandfather might posses him or something. Prayers should count fro something right?) I just hope your ready for a special food experience! (Special as in certainly unique from the rest. As Akama stares at the pile of shady fish on a nice pristine platter he mentally prays that it's a better when you taste it kind of deal. With a forced smile he then puts the plate in front of the girls and watches in nervous anticipation.)
(Finding a way out of this situation Akama runs over to Reperzel's place on the counter and delivers a surprise.) You said surprise me so here you go. (He puts a rare bag of elephants manure that he got from a random lady down the street. He really had no time to make an actual surprise so this had to be a good one right?) You know they say this stuff's blessed in India.
Sayaka thinks for a moment, this is still Japan so he can probably make most of what she's used to. The girl opens her mouth for a moment, but seeing Akama busy himself, decides to wait a bit, best not to push him too much, so instead of ordering she just starts talking, the girl leans back slightly, hands behind her head Guess its just a weird tradition around here then. Haven't actually found anywhere with a menu yet. It is then that the girl takes note of the other two customers, she's never met the white-haired girl before, so she decides to make the first move and waves to Gullevig Heya there, hope your days been fine. What brings you around these parts anyways? Look kinda like you're not from around here. with Akama done cooking, Sayaka seizes her chance, apparently oblivious to his nervousness Can I get some Takoyaki over here? Its a pretty common thing around here so I hope you're familiar with it
Hm,blessed?, why not, I need some luck (he eats it down)...not bad
One Takoyaki coming up! (Akama shouts as he makes his way once again to the counter and begins prepping the equipment.) My mom used to make the stuff all the time so I definitely know of it. Sadly I forgot to bring her recipe from back home. The train was way too early in the morning.
So...sayaka, how ya doing with kotori?, better or worse?
(The girl began devouring devouring the fish at a high speed as if she couldn't get enough of it. It almost was as if she was looking more for quantity rather than quality. Once she finished eating the fish she would wipe her mouth with a nearby napkin and look back up. Her eyes were narrow and her smile had stiffened out to a more serious look.) "That was good. There was a lot. Almost enough to fill me." (She begins smiling as if only trying to get Akama to worry more with her stiff expression before. She would then look back to Sayaka as if suprised someone talked to her.) "What am I doing here? I am here to be happy. I have no control of where I end up. I just seek out more happiness."
(edited by Gullveig)
Also, sayaka, another quick question, ya know where that white cat thing that ya work for is? I've been wanting to....talk ta it
*Mayu walks in, stretching as she does. She takes a seat and sighs.* Finally, a place to relax. Evening, folks. How's it?
Sayaka grins and leans forward, resting her right arm against the counter and using it to prop up her head while the young girl taps her left pointer finger on the wood. Hopefully you'll be able to get it tomorrow then. My mom made Takoyaki pretty often too. Never got around to teachin' me how though. Though, speakin' of your family, how're you gettin' a long with them? After asking such questions casually, Sayaka hears Zane and decides she can't ignore him any longer, so she turns her head to face him, clear annoyance across written her face Don't ask. I wouldn't mind if I never saw the girl again. She's startin' to remind me of someone from my hometown, and not in a good way. Sayaka raises an eyebrow, working for some white cat thing? Seeing as she has her own little business, she just looks at Zane confused White cat thing? I have absolutely no idea what you're talkin' about. I'm not workin' for anyone. Finally, Sayaka turns back to Gullveig. Sounds like some kinda wanderer So I take it you just drift from town to town then? The kinda person who doesn't like to tie themself down. Sounds kinda cool honestly, but doesn't it get old not having much of a home?
(edited by Sayaka_Miki)
Well...ay, rivels can be fun, just look at me, also, I know what I mean, think it's called the "incubator" or somethin'
(edited by Reperzel)
Who's your rival? Wait, who even are you? Dammit, I'm confusing myself.
The takoyaki recipe will probably be sent to me through the mail so whenever it comes it comes. As for my family .... Well I never really got close to them as much as I wanted to. (He finishes up the takoyaki and then lets out a sigh of relief at the strange girl's comments. He thought for certain she wouldn't enjoy the meal, but it seems his cooking skills are good enough to appease one person.) Miss would you like anything else this fine day? and as for you ... (He slips Sayaka's takoyaki down the counter and smiles at her. The compliments he just received certainly bolstered his pride just now and even if the takoyaki smells a bit off. Akama doesn't feel the same nervousness his did before on his cooking.) Hope you enjoy! (Akama then waves at the customer that just walked in and answers.) Things are pretty nice right about now.
(edited by Akama)
(The girl almost considers Sayaka's words but she seems to just simply put the question to the side.) "Home? I don't even remember a place like that and I haven't been to too many places that I remember. The place I remember the most is a capsule in a metal room. The people there were boring so I would sleep and wait for my chance to get out. Sometimes they would upset me though. That was never much fun for them but I didn't mind it nearly as much as I minded the isolation." (The girl would simply smile as her eyes opened further. It was at this point that strange silver jewelry surrounding her neck and wrists would be noticeable.)
Sayaka sighs and shakes her head, Zane's being dense as always, that much is for sure, though, after thinking about a catlike thing, and the word "incubator" does sound kinda familiar. Sayaka pauses for a moment before shaking her head First, you don't have any rivals that I've seen. You're just some guy with a bit of a criminal record. Second, I'd really rather not be competing with anyone over somethin' stupid. Its a... Sayaka turns back to Akama, glad for any excuse not to continue this talk. The girl grins and watches him cook Yeah, I kinda get that I guess. Sure you can't visit them sometime though? After all, they ARE still your parents, I'm sure they'd appreciate seein' ya every now and then Once the food is set in front of her, Sayaka stops everything and immediately digs in. It takes a few bites for her to even taste the stuff, but once she does, Sayaka pauses for a moment, before slowly swallowing it. Not wanting to be rude, Sayaka nervously laughs and waves to Akama Its... Pretty good... Yeah. I definitely look forward to trying your mom's recipe.... I'm sure that'll be even better. With another laugh, Sayaka finishes the first piece of Takoyaki and bites into a second, to help keep up appearances. She briefly turns to Gullveig.... That kinda sounds like somethin' out of a movie honestly. You sure you're rememberin' straight? I mean, I HAVE seen some weird stuff, but I dunno.....
(edited by Sayaka_Miki)
Anyways (he pulls out his banjo and plays it: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4G2CGZIWcco#
*Mayu throws a rock at Reperzel* Don't ignore me. And stop playing bad music.
(The rock does nothing really) hm?, ya asked me something?, sorry, didn't hear ya
I asked who the hell was your rival and who even are you I'm confused dammit. Stop being mean and ignoring me! Nyeh.
"A movie?" (The girl looks around for a moment as if she's missing something.) "What's a movie exactly? It sounds familiar but I can't seem to remember. I don't think my memory works very well. Sometimes I can't even remember to remember why I am somewhere. It doesn't matter too much though. I just need to move towards whatever's in front of me." (Her smile seems to be replaced by a very serious look before she seems to try to look away from Sayaka's gaze. Finally her eyes would fixate on the ring on Sayaka's finger.) "Pretty ring, what's it for? Why does it shine so brightly?"
Oh..well mostly kalib mostly, and most of the people who are like gods here
You're the rival... of most gods? *Mayu bursts out laughing* That's the funniest thing I've ever heard.
*a familiar face that Rep can see* What in the gods am I? Did I took a wrong turn on my way to Nohr?
Ayyyy, specs son, how doing
I got a name you know... and it's Geist... *he facepalms his cloudy helmet*
(Akama looks to Sayaka with a closed gaze and nervously taps his fingers against his hip.) Well you see I only really got along with my grandfather. Sure I could go visit anytime ... I just kind of don't want to since i'm still getting used to Tokyo. Maybe i'll go once i'm more situated. (Yeah and pigs will fly into the stratosphere. Even thinking about going back was enough to leave a bad taste in his mouth. So instead he focuses on Sayaka's compliments and allows his mood to brighten up. Taking out a rag he begins to clean the back counter while admiring the din of the conversation around him.)
Heya, Boss' friend. Sam (Comms): Boss' friends' kid Seriously? Sam (Comms): Seriously Damn.
Yeah yeah whatever geyser
IT'S GEIST!!! How many times do I HAVE TO SAY IT?! No wonder my mom recalls of how much my dad hates you with all his guts...
Howdy, Geist. Nice to meetcha. Apparently, You know my Boss. Don't say anything bad about me too him and we'll get along well. *Mayu gives Geist a thumbs up*
Now with a wonderful reason to continue pretending Zane, Sayaka looks over at Gullveig and begins talking energetically A Movie is a kinda show, usually a few hours long, where you go to a theater and watch a bunch of cool events unfold on a screen. My favorites are the ones with superheroes. Sayaka pumps her left arm in the air, silver ring on her middle finger glinting a little in the dim light Those champions of justice who never back down, no matter how dark things get. I always thought they were super cool!! Her energy goes down a bit, and she brings down her hand to look at the ring, small, blue gem gleaming on it.... All things considered it might be best not to just talk about that sorta thing casually Its just a pretty ring. I make sure to keep it well-cleaned, so you probably just caught it in the light. I don't go anywhere without it, would hate if somethin' were to happen to it. Sayaka turns back to Akama, she's heard plenty about people with a rough relationship, though she was lucky enough not to have that kinda problem. She decides not to push that point, and follows the most apparent way to continue the conversation So I take it you're not from around here? I hope you're adjusting just fine, goin' somewhere new can be rough at first
I'm used ta people hating me ghost
Yep I am a newbie in this vast sea of city. (Akama puts his rag down deciding that maybe he should clean later. For now he might as well chat since there are people so he walks back to the counter and gently smiles.) I come from the land of fields full of crops and animals. Even have the whole animal whisperer deal going on from all my years taking care of them. Now dealing with other people is a different beast but eh i'll only get better as time goes on. (He places his elbows on the counter and leans on them to be a bit more relaxed.) So how about you? Where do you comes from and is it like this place?
(edited by Akama)
*he takes off his helmet showing his purple hair which is the hairstyle of a certain relative as he wipes the sweat from his forehead and waves to Mayu* Ugh... this things can get hot sometimes... *he walks up and takes a seat to the counter* What to eat what to eat...
(edited by Unit_Spectre)
(She looks at the ring almost with hunger in her eyes but something seems to go off in her head as if some part of her mind was sending off a warning.) "I feel like I once had a pretty gem like that. I've always liked gold more though. Gold is always shiny and always brings people happiness." (She almost seems entranced as she begins talking about gold as if she was speaking of something more than just metal.) "Gold is a source of desire and desire is at the root of happiness. Happiness becomes an obsession and we constantly continue to search for that happiness. We become greedy and..." (Suddenly she begins to break out of her strange fixation. A smile once again appearing on her face.) "Was I saying something? I lost my train of thought."
Sigh...well I'm bored as fuck now
We have one person who don't know shit, a person who's new, specs son whos name I can't say, a blue hair who completely forgot bout her being a magical girl, and me...
(Akama strolls over to Unit and confidently rests his head on one arm.) Well might I suggest our parfaits since your a pretty sweet guy. (He inwardly cringes at what he just said but hey another one checked off the bucket list. Embarrassment now yet no regrets later.)
(edited by Akama)
Um..gest?...no..best?...no
"Magical girl...?" (The girls eyes finally opened widely as if the words had triggered something in her. She would look as if she was going to cry for a moment but suddenly she simply closed her eyes once more and began focusing. She would open them slightly again and return to her usual smile.) "Huh? When did I get to a diner?"
Wh-not gonna question it
(Akama peers over at Gullveig with an odd look and says nothing. When people want to talk about their issues they talk. Best not to push anything. So he instead smiles at her and curves his lips in a silly cat-like manner.) You got here a while ago Miss. All the drinks you had must have really hit you huh?
Or she has some of the worst fuckin' memory ever
A young girl wanders through the doors, she looks a bit beaten up at the moment, a few small cuts can be seen on her face, and all around she appears tired. She'd then look around rather curiously at the building... New, how strange to see someplace she's never been before. She'd walk up to the counter and take a seat, not even looking at the people gathered for now, too tired to spot anyone but the person running the place. "Um hello there, what kinda stuff do you sell here? Well, I'll take something filling I guess, and uh water too..." Homura sighs and falls over onto the counter, her head resting against it as she closes her eyes for a moment. If one looked closely, they might note the ring much like Sayaka's on her right hand, save for hers being purple. "Oh and uh where are my manners, Homura Akemi nice to meet you and all, sorry for pretty much falling down. Just... It's been a long day."
*he heavily blushes to what Akama was doing* I-i-i-i.... *he goes red to what transpired and puts on his helmet* *ahem* What do you have?
(edited by Unit_Spectre)
Sayaka leans on her arm and looks back at Akama. She glances up at the ceiling for a bit, man, its been a little over a month since she's actually been home. She wonders how everyone's been getting along without her, since she kinda vanished. Hopefully they're all ok. Sayaka sounds a little wistful as she reminisces on her home I come from Mitakihara City, its a bit smaller than Tokyo here, but overall pretty similar. Kinda miss my old friends from back home, but I guess I'm doin' alright. We had a river goin' through near the middle of the city, I used to hang out on the side with my best friend pretty often a little bit after school. We'd just lay down in the grass nearby and talk, sometimes for hours. Weren't too many animals though, a lot of apartments didn't allow pets, but there were some stray cats and dogs I might see on the way to and from school. Sayaka's attention is caught by Gullveig's strange behavior, she simply watches the other girl continue on.... Not the weirdest thing she's seen, but this place sure has some weird customers. She snaps at Zane as soon as he mentions "Magical Girl" Not so loud you idiot, is it too much to be normal for a little bit? No, I guess someone like you doesn't know what that's like, do ya? Always actin' out for no good reason... Guys like you make me sick. Sayaka doesn't notice Homura's entry, instead she looks back at Gullveig with concern, this memory loss thing is starting to get pretty serious, but she's not exactly sure how to deal with it
OH, NORMAL YA SAY?, LOOOK AROUND YA!, YA SEE ANYTHING NORMAL BOUT THIS?!?!, AND HOW BOUT FUCK YOU AND GO FUCK YA SELF (he almost slaps sayaka, but stops himself)
(The girl instantly seemed content with the answer as if it was all she needed.) "Oh, I guess I did get here a while ago. I must be lost but I don't have any control over it so all I can do is move forward towards the next objective. That's what it means to be happy."
[Kazuya would usually go out around Shibuya to look for anything that he could use for small COMP upgrades or maintainance, it was a fragile little device after all. After buying some different types of wires, the young man felt a bit hungry, and he took notice of the "Shibuya Diner". He had never heard about it or seen it before, but felt like it was a good idea to go inside and check, maybe even open his COMP and see if he could do anything now.] I wouldn't mind anything hot, really. [He says to himself as he makes his way inside. Looking around, he would notice there were more people than he had hoped for. This of course was not an issue, but he decides to sit in a table at the back. Taking off his Arm Terminal and placing it on the table, he would slowly open it by using a screwdriver he just bought.] I like this place, despite the people in it it feels a bit...calm, somehow. Nice atmosphere.
Sayaka looks around the entirely normal cafe, with the weirdest things visible in it being either the 7'3 man or the girl with memory problems Yes, I see a lot of things normal about this. In fact, this is the closest I've felt to home, aside from my apartment and school, in a while. I have no idea what your standards are, but restaurants are pretty common where I come from
(edited by Sayaka_Miki)
Pleased to meet you Miss Akemi. My name is Akama and i'm about to become a very special entity in your life. (Akama winks at her only to immediately feel ashamed. He was doing so well with the meeting people deal and now he had to just kill his streak with something lame.) I'll whip up something for you right away! (He practically dives behind his counter and starts making a nice parfait for the newbie. Last time he checked girls did like sweets so finishing up the parfait he hopes that it does the trick. He then places the parfait in front of Homura along with a glass of water he picked up along the way.) Enjoy the meal! (Akama then faces Unit not noticing the blush as he begins to list a variety of foods. From parfaits to sushi to even hamburgers only stopping once he runs out of things to say. Yet he still finds some words for Sayaka who is currently capturing his attention with her story.) Your home sounds like a really wonderful place to live in. Especially with the huge river .... I have always liked unique locals.
*he looks at Sayaka with interest* Wait... magic? As in Void magic? *he creates two small balls of purple light with satellites around his head but looking back at Akama* Then a bbq eel roll is good for me.
(edited by Unit_Spectre)
YEAH, CUZ FUCKING CAT PEOPLE ARE NORMAL OH, YEAH AND FUCKING PEOPLE FROM SPACE ARE NORMAL ARNT THEY, HM!, OH AND DONT FORGET BOUT THE PEOPLE WHO CAN FUCKING SUMMON DEMONS ARE NORMAL
(edited by Reperzel)
(The girl would almost cheer her words as she smiles more brighrly.) "I'm completely normal! It's normal to lack control. None us have nearly as much control as we believe! In the end we're all controlled by greed!"
(edited by Gullveig)
What seems to be a police officer drives by and parks near the restaurant, the windows are one way, so you cant really see whats inside them unless you had a superpower of some sort.
COMING FROM THE ONE WHO DOSNET KNOW/REMEMBER JACK SHIT
And with that, Rep is officially being ignored in favor of people actually doing things. She first takes note of the brown-haired boy with the fancy computer... Hasn't she seen him before? It takes her a moment of looking at him for it to click, but when she does she has to stop herself from shouting You're that jerk from the arcade, aren't you? Your girlfriend doing ok? I know you were havin' a rough time earlier, you better not have scared her off. Her little spiel done, Sayaka looks back at Akama, it really was quite nice, but well, there's no real point in thinkin' about it too much, otherwise you get homesick, so she decides to change the subject. Hey, have you been to the big tower here yet? Its got a great view of the whole city. Heck, they even say you can look out into the countryside from on top. Made a viewing platform for that exact purpose. Course, all the binoculars there are the kinda ya hafta pay for, its a pretty cool view even without 'em
(Attentively hearing in on Unit's order Akama writes it down on his cheap notepad.) One order of bbq eel roll's coming up! (He oddly looks at the written order and shrugs. This guy certainly had some strange taste, but who was he to judge. He liked some odd foods as well. Akama then stuffs the notepad back in his jacket and walks over to Kazuya in the back.) May I take your order sir? You seem to be kind of out of the way here. (He peers around and then faces Kazuya with a smile.) Guess your not a people person huh? (As he listens in on Rep his smile tightens for a sec and his expression looks troubled. If things get worse he may actually have to work which would suck. But for now customers and orders was his focus. Coming to this conclusion his smile comes back.)
A swat officer gets out from the car, the turns on his walkie-talkie. "This is NO.2, approaching scene, suspect possibly armed." With that, the swat approaches the restaurant.
Sigh....I come from the most normal world here, then I come into the nexus, and now looks where I am
Sigh...and here comes one of the worst swat teams I've ever seen
The girl stirs a bit upon hearing Zane's over the top shouting, gah she came to relax not listen to some idiot screaming at the top of his lungs. She'd sit up and open her eyes long enough to glare at the tall man. "Oi, keep it down, would you? Some of us didn't come in here to deal with shouting and such, I've had a rough day already, so um please try to keep it down. Just a polite thing to do, ya know?" She'd soften her tone toward the end and smile at him, no sense in being needlessly rude herself... Followed by quickly laying her head down on the counter again. Right up until the boy in front of her begins speaking... Is he flirting with her? She really can't tell, but she'll leave that alone for now. "Hah, something special eh? If I didn't know better I'd think you have a crush on me, but that's just silly." She'd happily dig into the food before her, might not be the most healthy of things, but it tastes plenty good to be sure. She's look up and start to say something to Akama... Only to actually bother getting up and walking over toward Zane, he's getting entirely too annoying for her at this point. "You should stop that now. I'm not entirely sure why you must point out the odd things around us, but that's no reason to shout, besides, we're all mostly normal people under all the absurd powers, aren't we? Regardless, you need to stop yelling Zane." She'd actually take a proper look around the place at this point, feeling a bit better now that she's gotten some food in her. She'd smile slightly upon seeing Sayaka... Only to turn toward the odd girl ranting about greed. "I don't think that's entirely true, not everyone is just out for their own greed ya know... I'd like to think some of us actually care about doing the right thing." She'd glance over at Kazuya's curiously upon hearing Sayaka's words, girlfriend? What the heck has he been up to anyways? "Ah hello, Kazuya-sensei! Um, I hate to pry but girlfriend? Is Sayaka-chan right, or just jumping to conclusions? Well, if she is hopefully things work out for you! And sorry about not being able to show up for practice lately... Things have been busy for me, to say the least." Finally, she'd go back to the counter and sit down once again, smiling at Akama for a moment before chugging down some of her water. "And like I was gonna say, it was very good Akama-san! How long have you been around here anyway? I've never seen this place and I spend... Quite a bit of time around the city and such, so I'm guessing it's new?"
(Akama curiously looks to Sayaka.) Nope can't say I have heard of a tower like that. (Even though he never heard the likes of it the mention of such an amazing tower still brings a gleam to his eyes.) However the great view of the city sounds magnificent and I would like to see it sometime. Maybe when i'm off work or hire another employee for this place.
Homura, listen, shut the fuck up how bout that?
"Care about doing the right thing? Isn't that because what's right makes you happy though? Happiness is what I crave for. It's my obsession. It's my greed..." (The girl would once again seem to be lost as she looks at Homura directly through her almost closed eyes.) "Who are you again?"
The swat sighs, pistol on holster, entering the restaurant.
(He puts his hands up) just take me to jail
The girl sighs upon hearing Zane, she'd rub at her head for a moment before turning to him with a smirk on her face. "Well, it's nice to know you took my advice about not yelling. But I think perhaps you could stand to be a tad nicer hmm? I'm not sure why you're always so angry, but perhaps if you treated others better you might be treated better as well." She'd then shrug before turning to the girl with nearly closed eyes, making themselves happy huh? Well, there is that, but sometimes... "I wouldn't say it always makes me happy at least, sometimes doing the right thing is just hard and painful and doesn't get you anything except heartbreak, I'll keep trying even then though. Sure, being happy is great, but sometimes being good means not being happy, in my experience anyway." She'd then smile at the other girl and giggle a bit, funny how she said all that without even bothering to give her name. "As for who I am? Homura Akemi! And I hope we'll be able to get along, what's your name by the way?"
The swat officer pulls out a notepad, then pulls out a pen. "Disturbance of the peace, you got anything to say about this? Your swearing, quite loudly in a public space."
Jerk...? Oh, I remember you, the girl from the arcade. [Kazuya dismisses her with a quick hand gesture as he laughs nervously.] She is a friend, not my girlfriend but she's been through a lot of rough times recently. It's complicated but whatever it is you are thinking, it's not that. [Kazuya would then turn to Akama and shake his head.] Oh, I consider myself a people person, but I also enjoy peace and quiet from time to time. Anyways...what do you have? I'm looking for any kind of uh...hot meal. [Kazuya would smile at this nice person before turning to Homura calling him out. He gets questioned once more about having a girlfriend, and the simple subject makes him blush a bit.] Please, don't apologize for that, I understand everyone gets busy often. And...no, I'm pretty single right now, Homura. P-Please don't bring that up so suddenly...!
Yeah, ya one of the fuckin' worst swat teams I've seen
The swat officer sighs, again and writes something down. "You have the right to remain silent, anything you do or say will be held against you in court. Do you understand?"
Sayaka hears Homura's familiar voice, askin' about the girlfriend thing, so she figured it might be good to clarify for her. Especially since it sounds like she knows the guy I'm pretty sure I know what I'm sayin', he interrupted me in the middle of a game to ask if I'd seen another blue-haired girl runnin' around. Looks like they were havin' some kinda fight or somethin'. Soon as I pointed him somewhere he ran off. Sayaka would then look over to Akama, she leans against the counter casually as she continues Yeah, its this big building near the middle of town, Tokyo Tower, you mighta seen a bit of it comin' in, its the tallest building here. Bit of a tourist spot from what I've heard, but I haven't actually gotten around to visiting it yet. Watching Kazuya's reaction, Sayaka begins to grin slyly, so there IS someone, just not who she was thinkin' of... Watching him squirm a little is a bit satisfying, so she pushes the subject So its not that blue-haired girl you were chasin' but you ARE interested in someone, aren't you? Come on, don't be shy. What's she like? Even simple gossip like this reminds her of some of her talks with her friends back home, while Sayaka herself hasn't really dated anyone, its fun to tease others about it
Please don't destroy anything in my diner. (Akama casually says as the swat guys enter his establishment. He then meets Homura's smile and blushes a bit at her use of a respectful term.) Ah you don't really have to use a san for me ... just Akama is fine. We should be around the same way anyway. (He wistfully looks around upon hearing the rest of Homura's words.) Believe it or not I just arrived in this city today and opened this diner just an hours before. Things have been pretty quick for me actually. (He turns to face Kazuya with notepad at ready.) Well if you want something hot might I recommend the hot pot. It's a diner specialty that is only made from the best ingredients like dragon tears, demon blood, and some sugar plus spice. (He laughs at his little joke.)
Satan isn't nice. What are you talking about?
Mates...ya seen every time I always escape....so what's the point?
(The girl would pause for a moment before responding in a almost emotionless voice.) "O-01-64-W. That's what they called me but at times they had other names for more simple use. I don't remember those names. They always changed. I don't have control over how I am and never have. I'm not the same me anymore that I think there once was. Isn't that weird?"
The swat writes something down. "It seems like you don't goddamn understand, I'll repeat it... You have the right to remain silent, anything you say or do will be held against you in court. Do you understand?"
(Akama thinks for a sec and then comes up with a plan. He looks to Sayaka with a grin.) Then maybe we should go visit together sometimes ... erm (Wait did the girl ever give him her name or was his memory that bad. He was almost afraid to ask since it could lead to an awkward situation, but he quietly does so anyway.) What did you say your name was before Miss?
No.i.don't.
He means shut the fuck up, Satan.
The swat sighs. "You under arrest for the following charges, breaking out of prison.. breaking out of prison.. breaking out of prison.. police homicide, breaking out of prison.. and disturbance of the peace, the charge 'police homicide' lands you on shoot on sight, luckily your going to jail, with a death sentence. Do you understand?"
PFFFFFF AHHHHHHAHAH OHHHHOHO, ARE YA A FUCKING MORON?!, DO YA NOT KNOW IMMA JUST COME BACK!, I ALWAYS DO
Akama's question causes Sayaka to blink for a moment, staring ahead awkwardly... She HAD forgotten to introduce herself, not only to him, but to everyone else here too. Sayaka laughs nervously and looks back at Akama Oh... Sorry about that, I guess I got a little carried away, huh? With her little blunder out of the way, Sayaka clears her throat before boldly declaring My name's Sayaka Miki, I'm a middle schooler around here and I've also got a bit of a delivery thing on the side. Its a pleasure to meet you Mister..... Sayaka pauses for a moment, if Akama had ever given his name, she certainly couldn't remember it. Sayaka blinks and tilts her head Huh, guess neither of us gave a name, did we? Well, I just gave you mine, so its only fair you give me yours.
Interested...? Yeah, I guess you could say something like that. [Kazuya would close his eyes and try to think. Of course he had a decent grasp on her but the circumstances in which he learned were a bit hazy, or other events got in the way more than once.] She's very hot headed, straightforward and a bit aggressive as well. Quick to anger, but she had this...confidence and cuteness that kind of make her stand out. [He begins to blush yet again and immediately turns to Akama.] A-Anyway! I would like that, well, whetever is you can recommend and is hot, I feel a bit cold...! [The young man couldn't avoid blushing as he laughs nervously, even awkwardly.]
The officer sighs, and draws a Desert Eagle from his holster, dropping the pen and aiming it at his face. "Shoot on sight allows me to end you, right now, and right now, I have many bullets to spare, but I don't feel like cleaning blood off the mat."
Hehe...just ya wait, all this drama will be pointless
Yeah, he'll be back. Even if there's no-one who wants him to come back.
Homura laughs at Kauya's blush, geez wonder who he's got a crush on? Oh well, she's not going to pry into it despite how blatantly obvious that seems, wouldn't be very nice of her after all. "Of course Sensei~ I was just curious is all, but I'll leave it alone if you say! And uh right don't be sorry... Not like I can control Witches anyway. Anyway! I'll try to show up as I can... And how's it been going for you lately? Haven't really seen you since all that stuff with uh, you know." She'd sigh upon Sayaka pushing at it, geez don't bother people about these things. Hasn't she eve- oh no she actually hasn't, wounded guy with a violin aside, she's never actually done anything of the sort. "Geez Sayaka-chan, you should just take his word for it, it's not like we've got any reason to doubt Kazuya-sensei." Hah, yeah right. More so she's just trying to help out... A friend? Eh, close enough. Despite that, upon hearing Gullveig speak she'd tilt her head curiously... Numbers and random letters? That won't do at all, what about... "Hmm, uh how about calling you... I got nothing from those letters and numbers, and I don't know you, so uh just give it some thought I guess?" She's ignoring any talk of "they", not because she doesn't think it's true, but because prying into such a thing seems entirely rude. Finally, she'd look back to Akama and shrug, first name only huh? Well, not the first person she's known to do that, but man he only got here today? Impressive. "Alright Akama, I guess you can just call me Homura then! And wow only got in today... That's pretty amazing honestly, I wouldn't expect someone to be set up so quickly!" She'd then tilt her head at hearing those items for a dish, is he serious or just messing around? In a place like this, she can't even be sure. "And, dragon tears? Demon blood? Are those actual things you have Akama? I've never heard of anyone using such items in cooking, but around this town, I can never be sure what's a joke, or just reality."
Fuck you mayo
The swat officer sighs, and pulls the trigger.
(He may falls down dead, but he quickly jumps back up) see...told ya
(edited by Reperzel)
The truth hurts, Satan. No-one likes you. You're useless to an annoying degree and always show up to make a situation work. No-one liking you is being kind.
Pleasure to formally meet you Sayaka Miki. (He holds out his hand and bows for dramatic effect. A bit much maybe, but he felt like changing up his routine just now so why not.) My name is Akama and just Akama in case you ask for a first. I have a feeling we might become friends eventually. (Akama winks at her and then notices Kazuya's reddened face. A little chuckle escapes from him at Kazuya's display of affections, but he regains composure for the sake of looking proper. Once he gets to know the guy better he is sure he will get a better opportunity to tease him. One hot pot coming up for the dude who is cold on the outside and warm inside. (Okay Akama knows he just vowed to be professional about this, but a slight jabbing can do anyone some good. Especially young emotionally unstable guys with good looks. He walks back to his counter to prepare both orders on his pad.)
The swat officer sighs. "Like I said.." The swat officer unloads the 6 bullets left into his head. "many bullets to spare, many."
Mayo, for ya ta think I don't know that.
(He falls down again, but jumps back up)...this is complete waste of bullets
If you know that, then why are you here?
I'm here cuz why not
The officer sighs. "Well, if you don't 'die' I guess I will.." The officer pulls out a taser, max watts, approximately enough to 'freeze' body parts, and kill animals. The officer leaps forward, attempting to tase zane at point blank range.
(Akama awkwardly looks down at Homura's compliment and attempts to downplay it a bit.) It's not really that amazing ... I just kind of took over from what my grandfather had already set up. The worst I had to do was clean this place up and thats that. (As he gets to cutting some vegetables for the hotpot he then addresses his previous comments to Homura.) Yep it's just a joke Miss Akemi. I mean those things don;t even exist so how are you supposed to be able to make food from it. Would be kind of difficult extracting demon blood from out of no where. (Akama laughs at the very thought.)
Well, if you know no-one likes you here and acknowledge you ruin everything you touch, wouldn't it be better to leave for everyone else's sake? Being selfless and shit, you know.
Sayaka grins and watches Kazuya, in spite of his age he's actin' a bit like some of her schoolmates would when she teased them about it. She looks back over to Homura. Kazuya-sensei? So that's the guy's name. Sayaka grins, speaking in an almost whiny tone Come ooon Homura, he's clearly not too bothered by it, and I haven't heard anything good in a month. You can't blame me for bein' a liiiitttle curious, can ya? Flashing the other girl one more playful grin, Sayaka turns to Kazuya, he was willing to describe the girl, so she kinda wants to see how much more she can get What's her name? You should know that much at least. Even if its a "love at first sight" kinda thing. I promise I won't tell them. I've got some practice keepin' secrets after all. Sayaka brings her finger across her lips, as though zipping them shut to help get the message across, before adding one more thing Besides Kazuya, I've probably never met her, so what's the risk, right? Sayaka looks back to Akama, he moved on before she was able to accept the handshake, but he's a busy guy, so that's totally understandable. Plus he seems to have a similar curiosity. She waves to Akama, still keeping her eyes on Kazuya Pleasure to meet you too Akama, I think I'll come around here a bit more often now, cooking aside you're a pretty cool guy. Sayaka doesn't seem to notice that little slip-up, she's mostly focused on the older, brown-haired man and isn't paying as much attention to what she's saying as she probably should
*he looks at his watch as he waits for his food and looks back at Akama* My food done?
(He just jumps right, missing the taze)....poor man
[This method seemed to work, so he closed his eyes before replying to Homura. His blushing cheeks and beating heart mad it difficult for him to speak clearly.] How I've been doing...? Well, mostly fine. I'm still thinking about a lot of things but I'm being as calm as I can, recently I've noticed my emotions have been on a weird mood, it's harder to control them It's...difficult to explain. [Kazuya nods before laughing at Akame's little joke. It didn't help his concentration but it was funny enough. The young man would nod before opening his eyes and taking a look again at his wide open COMP.] The metal seems unscratched, the motherboard and even the sockets...but some of the wires are so worn out, this might be dangerous.... [The young man would look into his new bag of wires and quietly work on repalcing the worn out ones with new.] Skill Crack is much more dangerous than I once thoug- [He overhears Sayaka. His body suddenly stops in shock and he sweats nervously at the question of her name. He slowly leaves the wires on the table before speaking again.] She...her name is uh... S-She is a girl, yes, she is... [Kazuya tries to go back to his little project, but is clearly unable to do so.]
*Akama easily picks up on what Sayaka said and fumbles with his knife as it hits him. Someone just called him cool. Like him cool !!!! He doesn't know how to respond to such a thing and does what any odd boy does .... retreats backs into his den of awkward and chirps out a reply.) It was a pleasedure to meet ya to meeets ya too. It'll be cool is ya ... (He shuts himself up realizing that he is practically flailing in actual conversation. Words are too hard about now. So he picked up the eel and slides the dish to Unit in silence. His face a blank picture of human hopelessness in society. He then retreats back to finish the hotpot.)
(Finally the girl gets up and stares at the door for what seems like a minute straight. Her expression is back to serious once more as she walks forward and rubs her hand up against the glass as if stroking it.) "I need to go. I need to be out there. Goodbye, people. I love you all." (She would then open the door and walk out as if something was calling to her. There was an unexplained urgency to her eyes as she would run into the streets.)
Well....now I have 2 policemen killed....greaaaat
(edited by Reperzel)
Homura sighs and shakes her head at Sayaka's antics, if one were looking, however, they might spot the sight smile creeping across the young girl's face. "I guess it's okay Sayaka-chan, not like it'll hurt any so have at it! She'd then glance over at Kazuya's COMP, Skill Crack? Hmm... She's not really a tech person, so she can't exactly help with that. But she's rather curious, and what's this about hard to control emotions? "Hard to control huh? Well, I guess I know the feeling... Somehow I think the cause isn't the same though. And what's up with your computer anyway? Something about a Skill Crack? Well, hope it works out well." She then laughs upon hearing both what Sayaka said, and Kaz's response to it. Geez, he's as bad as she used to be about Madoka, which is really saying something all things considered. "Aww, quitting now huh? Geez Sensei, don't tease us like that! Now you've gone and gotten me all curious too, I can't believe you'd show such cruelty to us~" The singsong tone in her voice would pretty clearly show she's just amused by the whole thing, Homura might not act it often, but she is, in fact, a teenage girl... If one who usually tries to act far older than she is.
Sayaka grins and leans in a little closer to Kazuya, she's already gotten so close, his look is like that of a schoolboy ready to reveal his secrets, and Sayaka is most certainly not going to miss this one, so she keeps teasing him Cool, your girlfriend's a girl, we've got that straightened. Now come on, tell me. Sayaka leans in as close to Kazuya as she can, of course since he isn't sitting next to her it doesn't have as much of an effect, but anyone can tell she's really trying. You owe me her name at least, especially after you ruined one of my best games. I promise to keep it a secret between the two of us, you can even write it if you're scared of bein' overheard. Sayaka taps her feet impatiently against the bottom of her seat, having gone this far, nobody's gonna stop her from learning about this mysterious girlfriend of his. She's so absorbed in the conversation she hardly notices Akama's odd behavior
(edited by Sayaka_Miki)
*he looks at Reperzel as he slow claps as he eats his food* Nice job... you killed two men who were doing their job...
Eh who cares
They're family, friends and colleagues who will mourn their sacrifice for dying doing their duty of arresting a dangerous individual
Ah don't worry, they recruit new men everyday, its nothing
It is to the families, friends and colleagues you unsympathetic fuck.
Multible vehicles, black, with one-way windows approach the restaurant.
(Akama in a halting motion places Kauya's hotpot on the table and carefully wants back to his protective counter. He still can't fathom how anyone would see him as cool and maybe its for the best. Less distraction toward the hard work he had to put to continue his grandfather's legacy.) It looks pretty fun though ... (He watches the group of Kazuya, Sayaka, and Homura with a sigh. Must be fun to have random chats like that on the occasional basis. Sure he did chat a bit today with people, but it was more like business stuff. Akama couldn't help desiring something that seemed more like a friendship. Yet this was the hand he was dealt and he just had to bear it for the sake of his family. Forcibly dragging himself out of his thoughts he looks to Unit with a raised eyebrow.) So does this kind of stuff happen often?
Where I come from, millions and millions of people dies, its not a big deal
*Appears with a .44 Magnum and shoots Zane in the head before vanishing.*
(He just gets back up)...that one was a surprise
"Skill Crack" is a program directly linked to the Demon Summoning Program, you may even call it an expansion of it. It allows me to copy and use the many skills my own demons possess. But give my own incapacity to create magic...it's really tough to use, and even makes my COMP shut down as it goes into a cool down mode that can go from a few seconds to a few days. [The young man points at his Arm Terminal before pulls his left sleeve, showing some very bad burn marks, the skin is a bit messed up.] Once I used the most powerful skill, and it...well, I almost lost more than just my COMP. [Kazuya laughs nervously as Sayaka keeps getting closer and closer. The young man almost hits the wall behind him as he quickly backs away.] UUH! A-Actually uh...her name is uh... Take...Take...T-TAKANE ENOMOTO! Yeah, that's her name. [Kazuya laughs loudly for a second before covering his mouth. His face is as red as it gets, and quickly looks down at his COMP.] I-I-I-I'm working too, so I w-would like some privacy, you know? [He does his best to look annoyed, but Kazuya wasn't very good at something like that, and right now he didn't have anything close to control over his own action, or even his own emotions. He then recieves his meal however, and nods.] T-Thanks...!
(Akama sympathetically gazes to Kazuya, but also can't help feeling a twinge of something. He couldn't really tell what it was so why bother naming it.) Poor Poor dude ....
I don't get why people arnt used ta death yet
She got some answer, and that's enough to satisfy Sayaka. She leans back to a normal distance, considering asking more when she looks up at the diner's clock, starting to get a little late, and she does have a few things to take care of before going home, so she avoids pushing Kazuya any further, looking to Akama with a grin So how much do I owe ya' anyways? I'm a little busy today, so I'll need to cut the visit short, but I can't very well leave without payin' can I? What kinda jerk would do that? Sayaka laughs to herself, fully aware that some people do that exact thing, but of course she would never be one of them.
He has a dark sense of what is morality... reminds me of a retainer that my uncle Xander talks about... she kills just for the sake of killing...
Homura grins upon hearing that name, Take huh? I mean, he may have lied about it, but that name sounds like hers. Not to mention he described her pretty damn well. Well, she's not calling him out here regardless. Kazuya's no doubt got reasons for saying that. And she hasn't that much of the older girl, but she's always seemed pretty cool to her. "I see then, I'll be sure not to say anything Sensei... And um sorry for bugging you during your work. Come to think of it." She'd look back toward Akama herself, she should actually be getting home soon as well. Wouldn't want anyone getting worried about her being out so late, even if it's something that shouldn't raise concern by this point. "I should pay up myself honestly, I wouldn't want anybody back home worrying over me or something."
(edited by Homura-Akemi)
Ya talkin' bout me?
Maybe because eath isn't something people usually like to be reminded exists. Only a nutjob is so brazen about death like you are.
I mean....I'm used ta it, and everyone else should be to
(Akama smiles at Homura and Sayaka's upfront willingness to pay and thinks on his grandfather's peculiar system. His grandfather while a business owner was also an eccentric man with unusual ways to deal with things. Payment for food happened to be one of those ways and even if the rest of his family would disapprove Akame goes with it. After all this diner did start out as his grandfather's so it was only right to continue already set traditions.) Feel free to pay an amount of money equal to how much you enjoyed the food. After all serving people is the greatest reward of any chef. (He bows after saying this and smirk.)
(edited by Akama)
The people in the black cars hop out, they look pissed.
Yeah. What I recall my uncle talks about his retainer who loves killing... I see it as a match made in hell. *he smirks under his helmet as the storm underneath glass veil of his helmet starts brewing*
Just because people should don't mean they want to be.
Aaaaand here's more swats..
And mayo, they should
The swats pull out uzis, and open the door, and walk in.
(Akama gazes back at Unit with a surprised look.) How can you talk about death so passively like that? Doesn't it kind of freak you?
Oh, uzis, that's new
2 of the men pick up the body and bring him to the van, the rest point their uzis. "No sympathy, no mercy."
Sayaka frowns a little hearing this, its most certainly a weird way to run a business, and relying on the customers so much... well, the food wasn't bad, and she does want to be on Akama's good side. Unfortunately, she's also a 14-year-old with little concept of money, so she looks into a bag and pulls out the first few bills she finds, passing over 550 Yen to Akama before closing it up It was a pleasure talkin' to ya, and thanks for the meal!! I'll be sure to come again some time, that much is for sure!! Without further ado, Sayaka scrambles out the door, glancing nervously at her silver ring as she runs down the street. Late as it is, this is a perfect time to start her.... Night job... Yeah, that's what it is. A night job. She’s in too much of a rush to respond to Homura, but she does briefly smile and wave back at the girl before ducking into an alleyway, from which a brief burst of blue light can be seen
(edited by Sayaka_Miki)
Homura smiles at him for a moment before pulling out... 750 Yen, About 7 USD if anyone cares. She'd set it on the counter and smirk for a moment before starting to walk off, though not before giving a few parting words to those she's spoken to.[/i] "It was pretty good, not a ton of food but I enjoyed it! I'll be sure to stop by again sometime Akama, so thanks for the meal. And Sayaka-chan, um we haven't gotten along that well in the past, but the last couple times we've met I actually kinda enjoyed it, maybe we should try and hang out more often? I dunno, but um it was nice seeing you. Oh and Kazuya-sensei, hope things go well with this "Takeno" girl!" With that, Homura Akemi walks out of the building, a grin on her face and a spring in her step as the young girl walks off for her home once again... Jeez, she really needs to sleep.
Guys, ya know imma just come back
*he lets out a sigh and turns back to Akama* My dad what I can remember from legends that people from Nohr sparked, he was called The Black Cerberus by his armor, wherever he walked, death waked. I saw the fields where he went to war... not a pretty sight.
The people in the black suits open fire, constantly.
No thank you for the patronage! (Akama calls out as Sayaka runs out the door. He has to frown at her sudden exit and wonder if he possibly said something to offend her. But no matter he could remedy it once she comes to visit again and counting the bills he rings up his register. He then grins at Homura and waves.) I'm glad I could make something you enjoyed and I do hope you visit again soon. Returning customers are always welcomed! (He collects the 750 yen on the counter and ponders on this new feeling of expectation he has. It's almost like he can't wait till both girls visit again even if he just met them. How weird. Must be the drowsiness he currently feels after his long trip.) I swear after work i'm going to get come nice sleep.
*he hits the deck as uses his magic to set up a overshield to himself and Akama* HEY! Military dudes! Friendlies in here!
(He falls down dead but keeps on getting back up constenly)
[Kazuya's blush slowly disappears as he begins to cook some meat on the hot pot, taking a closer look at the way the wires of his COMP had worned out. It was clear the constant use did this, his first suspicions, since his device could go on for years before getting to this point.] Maybe I should stop using this Function completely, I don't completely understand it yet and it might end up destroying the entire device at some point. [He of course had no idea this could happen, it was the worst of cases after all. The meat finished cooking, and so, he eats it without looking away from his project.] I hope these wires take much more. [The young man slowly replaces one of the wires with a new one.]
Sadly I won't get any until I deal with this ... (He moves out of the overshield and confronts the swat squad face to face. A smile is still on his face, but the slight twitch to his lip betrays the annoyance that he is currently suppressing. These guys were just lucky this place had insurance or they might have actually made him angry. Yet for now annoyance was more then enough.) Enough! I want you to get out of my diner and leave. You have become a nuisance. Get out. (Akama then walks over to Kazuya's table and grunts.) Humph can you believe the nerve of some people. I thought city dwellers might be a bit more sophisticated but I guessed wrong. (He then notices the machinery that Kazuya is working on and has to ask.) Umm what exactly are you doing?
Is there a bell over the door? Well, if there is, it jingles as a girl in a hat and holding a watch walks in.... Hello?
(Akama waves at Izumi with a pleasant smile and approaches her.) Welcome to the newly established Shibuya diner miss! (He pulls out a notepad and a pen.) Feel free to take a seat and I will meet you there in a second.
Oh, alright then. She finds the indicated seat and looks amongst the room.... only really noticing Kazuya from prior escapades. Hmm, odd. I thought a great deal of magic was here...
Oh, I'm giving my COMP some maintenance. I've been using it a lot and fear something is making it overheat. [Kazuya laughs at his own words, obviously keeping some very important details of this to himself. The young man places the wire correctly and turns to the man.] By the way, this might be obvious but try not to worry too much with people. Given how massive this place is you might find a lot of different people, but most are nice! So focus on those. [The young man smiles at him as he cooks another slice of meat.]
*he puts three gold coins on Akama's counter and finishes his meal* Thanks for the meal. Off to walk about. *he waves bye and walks out*
(Akama goes to clean up his cooking area a bit and after a few minutes he makes his way to Izaumi's table.) So what would you like today Miss? Might I recommend the parfaits here or a fruity drink. (As he prepares to write on his notepad he then shouts to Kazuya.) Thanks for the advice it seems sound in a place like this. (Unable to help himself he peers over once again at the random assortment of mechanical items.) What exactly does this COMP thing do? Is its some sort of toy or one of those new communication devices that the kids use often these days?
Oh! A COMP is just a small device similar to a laptop, but you wear it over your wrist. It's a bit old, but they are really popular in my hometown! [Kazuya doesn't look up, still focused on his meal and his own work. It wasn't so difficult of course, he managed to learn the workings of this things back when he was still in high school, luckily before the demons even managed to invade. Funnily enough, if his mother had never gifted him the latest model...] My mother gifted this one to me, but again...they aren't really popular around here. However, I love them and actually own a bunch of them. Well...I enjoy technology in general, but something about the COMP feels...different.
I've honestly never heard of a "COMP" myself, but it sounds like a computer. Anyway, as for a meal. Do you offer any "fruity drinks" that come sans-Alcohol? Believe it or not I'd get you arrested if you served me one of those. Fufufu.
Oh then I would love to get one! (Akama really means it when he says this since the device itself looks so cool all broken apart on the table. The bigger reason though is it would give him something in common with the dude in front of him. The dude who managed to make so many friends and even a love interest. Just thinking about it gave Akama that weird feeling again so his mind strayed to the fact that he probably couldn't afford one. Maybe if he worked for a few more months. But for now he would just have to be content with his phone. Speaking of he takes out his phone and almost gasps at the time.) I'm sorry to say this sir but I have to close the diner now. It's almost midnight and I kind of need to find my way home. (He really didn't realize how late it was which is odd since he is always on time for everything. It was just like his mother said the city would change him and it already was. Bowing in apology Akama does hope that his two patrons forgive him for this.)
(Akama yawns as he walks up to the double red doors and flips the sign to open. He knows it's kind of an odd time to open up the diner, but he just woke up after wasting the day away with sleep. It seems like travel can really take energy out of a person and he wasn't the rare exception.) Hmm wonder who might show. (He pushes the door open and makes his way over to the counter. He already anticipates meeting some fresh faces and even some old ones.)
[Kazuya would casually walk into the building with a soft smile. He liked the atmosphere and, despite the teasing fomr he younger girls, he enjoyed it quite a bit. He didn't have any bags or indications of him buying anything. It seems like this time he came just for the fun of it.] Hey, it's been a while! [The young man exaggerates the passage of time with a smile as he takes a sit by the counter.]
It's only been a day dude but hi anyway. (Akama waves to Kazuya and sets down a cup he had just picked up to clean. He felt strangely pleased that one of the people he had met yesterday just came back again. This meant he was doing a decent job. Also he couldn't help, but wonder if this counted as a beginning friendship of sorts.) Maybe ... (He murmured to himself while pulling out his worn notepad and a stray pencil.) So what can this server get for you today? (A thought then hits him.) Oh did you also fix your cellphones thingy? It looked pretty broken yesterday.
Oh, anything with rice and meat sounds pretty cool, actually! [The young man smiles lazily at him as he makes his order, he was not aware of the menu but any of these things worked pretty nicely for him. He would then lift his left arm and show him his COMP.] Yeah, I just had to change some wires, pretty simple stuff! [He would rest his two arms on the counter, looking around and letting out a soft sigh.] So, how has been business?
(Akama looks about his empty diner and sighs upon seeing how empty it is.) Well business so far is pretty slow. Hopefully it gets better as the night pushes forward. (He then writes down Kazuya's order as his eyes shift to the comp.) So what can that device of yours do now?
I'm sure it'll be better at some point tonight, or at least during the next week. Maybe it's a dumb idea but...being a sunday, people just want to stay home and rest? [Kazuya chuckles at this, he of course didn't know, there were many reasons why people weren't showing up, but given the day and time this made sense to him the most. He would then raise both eyebrows and look at his own COMP.] Well, it's a mix between a laptop and a cellphone. I can't make calls but I can text nd eve browse around the internet. [Kazuya looks up at the ceiling, as if looking for any other examples there.] It's a useful device for more than that, but that's it~!
A small, strange creature emerges from one of the booths. It vaguely resembles a cat, but the overly long appendages coming from its ears with two rings around it prevent any such mistake from being made. The creature briefly glances around, before preparing itself and leaping up onto the counter, where it curls up into a ball and regards the others with its beady red eyes
I uh...hello. [Kazuya's only reaction was blinking a couple of times as he looks at the strange creature that came out of nowhere. A pet perhaps? He couldn't exactly tell what kind of animal this was.] Do you talk?
A large man walks into the cafe with an almost undead presence. His eyes are cold and tired, accentuated by the dark bags beneath them. "Evenin' Boss. Table for..." A yawn escapes his lips as he scrambles to catch it with a hand. "...one please and thank you. Or is this place one of those that you seat yourself?" He rubs the tiredness from his eyes best as he could before surveying the diner. He never really looked at the place, instead letting his nose guide him to a suitable place to grab a bite. A familiar face would cause the man to push away the sleep on his face and instead wear his usual warm expression. He waves at his friend. "Yo Kaz! What's up?" The appearance of the cat-like creature causes Kalib to raise a brow. "You let animals run around here? Odd."
[An old man with his hat on the table was sitting in one of the booths by himself, looking at the menu.] "Wow, there's so many choices for just a small diner."
The creature opens up one of its eyes, and the red, beady orb stares into Kazuya. All things considered, its hard to tell what the creature is thinking, though if anything, the voice the group can hear would sound bored Is it possible to answer that question with a "no"? Maybe you should consider asking something else next time, any question will serve that purpose after all. The creature lazily flicks its tail, not taking the effort to turn to Kalib, instead curling tighter and closing its beady eyes once more I'm much more than just an animal. Its kind of rude to jump to conclusions like that. I would have thought you'd know better by now, all things considered
Hey Kalib, I'm just chilling, you know? It's been a few nice and quiet days so...I need to get my mind off of certain memories. [Kazuya chuckles, but he immediately stops as he hears this voice. He didn't exactly know how to react as he slowly turns to the creature. Due to this, his face is mostly unexpressive before he speaks up.] I don't really feel like making many questions, but given the way you speak...is it possible you know about me, or making assumptions based on the nature of this world? [Kazuya's eyebrows would raise a bit as he leaned on his hand, elbow resting fimrly against the counter.]
The creature doesn't move from its spot, beyond flicking its ears, possibly automatically. Of course he knows about Kazuya, more than the average being would, but there's no reason to say everything I think the answer to that is a little bit of both Kazuya. Considering some of your accomplishments it would be odd for a creature like myself to have not heard of you. Though that has nothing to do with my being here, if that was what you were wondering. Though I can understand you being a little wary. At this point the creature would open its mouth wide to yawn, or at least pretend to yawn, whichever it is doesn't really matter.
He grins sheepishly. "Can you blame me for wanting a little bit of normalcy? But sorry. My aim wasn't to offend you...erm...what should I call ya?" He smiles at Kaz before speaking. "I had to get out of the house. I was doing my taxes and hoo boy! There is a lot of paperwork when you own a business. I kinda forgot about that tidbit. But I'm glad you're well!"
It's kind of difficult to avoid the more "astral" kind of attention. Especially around here, sadly. [Kazuya would sigh with a certain taint of annoyance, not at the small, unknown creature in front of him, but at his own, terrible luck in the face of anything that seems a bit normal. After this, he would sit in a much more straight way and gently place his hands on his legs.] I'm not wary, mostly curious. What do you mean by "accomplishment"? What do you know about me? Who are you, or by what name do you go with? And what do you mean by "creature like myself", what is your importance? [His questions are a bit specific, but he wanted to make sure of something. Usually, people say much more than simple words explain literally. Phrasing was really important, and he could already tell this small thing was much, much bigger than it may present itself now or soon. However, he would then turn to Kalib and smile.] I'm glad! But...business? Are you expanding GYM?
(edited by Kazuya)
Takeno steps through the door, her iconic purple hat sitting atop her hair, which appeared to be a total mess at the current point in time. With an uncharacteristically low and tired voice, she'd trudge to the counter and speak towards whoever she assumed was an employee first with a finger waggle for greeting. "Just a coffee, if you will. Extra sugar." As soon as she was done speaking she'd place her arms on the counter and rest her head in them, grumbling incoherently, not paying any mind to anyone else who was around.
"Not expanding...just...doing what I should've done in the first place. But that'll be after I make sure the government doesn't come hunting me down for not doing my taxes." He scratches the back of his head nervously as he remembers how little work he got done in the first place. "I also need to train my apprentice. A young up and comer! I have high hopes for him!"
Finally, the creature looks up, eyes open and glances around at the two of them, before rolling over on its back, as a cat might do to show vulnerability, and answering My name is Kyubey, and there's really no need to be so terribly cautious Kazuya, I don't mean anyone any harm regardless, there's little point in not answering a direct question, even if some of the answers are rather apparent, Kazuya doesn't often brag about his accomplishments, so it is possible he simply doesn't think about them. When I say "accomplishment", I mean your many actions regarding the supernatural, the list of which is far too long to be worth going into, but you should remember a few of the more notable ones at least. Regarding what I know about you, I know your name and abilities, as well as some about your backstory. However, I know rather little about your own world, nor am I particularly interested. Finally, when I say "creature like myself", I simply mean supernatural ones. After all, in your world it would be somewhat surprising if a demon hadn't heard of you, something similar applies to this situation. Kyubey looks up as Takeno enters, accidentally rolling off the counter in the process, he hadn't paid her particularly much attention before, but the entry was somewhat unexpected. Kyubey soon recovers, jumping back onto the counter and curling up into a ball once more
Hmm... this diner again. Well, I must admit it saddened me I never got my drink last night. Though I will admit I'd rather take something to.... go. She suddenly notices the place is not only open again, but also much more crowded. She just shuffles to a seat quietly, listening in on the assembly for a moment...
She lifts her head up to bear witness to Kyubey, rubbing the back of her head. After squinting at the little creature, she'd offer a brief chuckle and mumble before she stuffed her head in her arms again. "Hah. Just like in that one magical girl show..." She slumps further on the stool she was sitting on, groaning in discontent.
Apprentice, huh? I'm glad things are working out for you, I too have a few students by now, teaching them the basics of what I know! [Kazuya would look down at his COMP with a certain feel of nostalgia. Letting our a quick sigh wih a smile, he would turn to Kyubey. This name sounds...familiar somehow, but he couldn't quite place it where or when he heard of it.] I see, so you know that much. While you say that, and you don't show the intent to hurt, it's not usual for someone to show up and claim to know all that much. [Kazuya would then notice Takeno show up, not really noticing him. The young man would blush a bit and stand up for a moment.] But what is it that you need from me, Kyubey? Do you need help with something or was it a simple hello~? [Kazuya would laugh the little exchange away, interested to hear more of this. He doesn't show it in any way as he quickly moves to the seat right next to Takeno, but he feel suspicious, what he really is maybe not be what he said, or at least that simple. At least given the information it had. It's true, demon knew about his name, but he was well aware no one but Yuka herself, Tatsuya, Raidou and Prima knew about his past. Not even his demons would share delicate information like this.] Hey, are you feeling alright...? [Kazuya would softly tap on her shoulder to try and get her attention. She seemed tired and that alone made it easy for him to feel worried.]
Kyubey uncurls a little, stretching its front paws outwards while its tail fluffs upwards. Then, the creature sits on its back paws, front legs extended to put its head at maximum height, just about enough to look Kazuya in the eyes Yes, I do need your help with something actually. Not only yours, but the guy behind the counter as well (who seems to be busy) Kyubey stretches again, before prancing across the counter towards Kazuya, whatever this is seems to be serious. He stares Kazuya in the eyes for a moment, before saying You see, I haven't gotten to enjoy human food in quite some time, and, as you may be able to guess, I do not have any money. So I want you to let me have some of your food. In exchange, I am willing to discuss a wide variety of topics to keep you company for the duration, though I'm definitely not going in that COMP of yours With his request made, Kyubey walks a little bit away again before curling up into a ball I hope you find this arrangement satisfactory
She slowly stares up at Kazuya, her eyes barely opened. She'd quickly rub her eyes and yawn. "Yeah, I'm okay. I've just been losing a lot of sleep lately is all. My father's setting up a store right now, and I'm working my ass off to help him out." Take offers a bit of a smile and a weary chuckle, scratching at the back of her incredibly messy purple locks. Despite how she sounded and looked, it seemed like she was perfectly able to keep a conversation, even if she spoke slowly.
[Kazuya had a confused look on his face. Was it really just that? Well, it doesn't matter, he wasn't all that hungry anyways, if anything he could live with nothing but a single piece of bread right now. He sighs with a smile on his face and makes a quick gesture with his hands.] Bon appetit, Kyubey. But now I need to ask as you eat...what do you know about my past? [Kazuya is still laughing as he turns to face Takeno. He softly places one hand on top of her head, quite possibly covering her eyes a bit with her own purple hat.] So that's why you wanted a coffee, I see. You...sure look like you need a bit of rest, I hope you and your dad are almost done with that?
"Kyubey, huh? Nice ring to it." Kalib gives a satisfied nod before turning back to Kaz. "His name is Eito. A wellspring of raw emotion from what I've seen. I know what it's like to have emotions go wild. So I want to help train him my way... I may not be the strongest, or the smartest, but I feel like my heart is at least in the right place. So I want to help him any way I can!" He cracks his knuckles with a grin. "That's what teachers do, right?"
The girl looks about ready to interject into the conversation of Kalib, Kazuya, and Kyubey... the Killer Ks, as it were... but her prior interactions with Kazuya scare her away from it. Instead, she looks over to Takeno, the tired girl. A store, huh? What kind of things do you intend to sell there?
She seemed to enjoy Kaz's head patting, chuckling a little and raising her hat up to see once more. Despite that though, her hair was still covering her eyes for the most part. "Almost. He's opening up a tech store and he wants me to handle the audio section since he says that if I can stick my ears in headphones all day that I can run an audio department." She shakes her head a little sighing. "So how about you, Kazuya-san? Holding up well? Or better than me at least?"
Kyubey's ears perk up as he prances over to Kazuya's food and begins eating it quite quickly, the creature wouldn't pause to breath, and speaks without interruption, after all, it was hairdly using its mouth to begin with I don't know too much of the specifics, but from my understanding your world was largely destroyed. After a journey that would take far too long to recount you ended up bringing relative peace and stability at a great cost and are now working to rebuild a society there. You have some ability to return there as well, something I have yet to figure out how to replicate, although I probably could if I put enough time into it, and as such you return every now and then. Kyubey briefly pauses its eating, Kazuya did ask about his past overall, not simply his home, so it would be appropriate to mention his actions in this world as well And of course, I am aware of most of your actions these past few months, such as opening your own dojo where you train people, primarily in the sword and negotiation. I believe that is also where you met miss Takeno here. Kyubey briefly nods to Takeno in order to acknowledge her existence before turning back to continue eating
Given how much emotion dictates what you do, I know he will find a nice way to do things under your guide. Yes, your heart is in the right place, keep at it...! [Kazuya grins as he listens to Kalib, feeling a certain kind of pride for him. Yes, his fiery spirit was something else. The young man now focuses on the girl once more. He keeps his hand on her head as he lowers his head a bit, trying to more clearly look into her eyes.] It'll be fine, try to hold on in there. [Kazuya has a small laugh over this. This kind of...parent-child moments was something that always warmed his chest up.] Oh, honestly I would love to be in a bed right now, but I felt like walking, clear my head a bit. You might say I have a lot in my head and heart. I'm fine though, I feel...relaxed. [He would smile sweetly at her, trying to not make her worry our of nowhere with his own inner issues. He would quickly look as Kyubey recounts his own past. He nods.] That's true...however, I am unable to go back into my world at will. It's...hard to explain but I was pulled into this world by something, pulled out for two years... I get pulled in again when nothing but a week passed here, and...well, here I am. That was months ago too.
Music, huh? That sounds really interesting. Maybe you'll get to meet Idols or something as part of the job.
Take glances towards Izumi, smiling and chuckling. "Well fun fact, when I was a little girl I wanted to grow up to become an idol. I don't really see it happening now, but you never know." She pats Kaz on the back, blushing a little. "You're always thinking way too much. You know what you need? A nice trip to an onsen. That always clears my mind at least. Especially with what's been happening recently with Ene and Kisaragi."
Kyubey eats roughly half of Kazuya's food before stopping, apparently satisfied, the creature stretches a little, and walks further down the counter to curl back up, ears twitching to listen in on any conversations around That is unfortunate then, I was hoping you had a consistent method. Being unable to contact my home is quite inconvenient. Of course, I am well aware of this world's tendency to drag things in, and as such while entry is fairly easy, getting out has proven to be quite a nuisance. We decided it was a waste of time. With little left to speak of, Kyubey hops off the counter onto the diner floor, before walking off towards one of the booths to disappear behind it
Well hey, I wouldn't give up on that dream. After all, the city is the best place to break into show business. And if a girl from the middle of the sticks made it, you could, too. She shows flashes of excitement and... pride when talking about that girl, but it evaporates quickly as the white creature disappears behind a booth... There it was, so close.... I could practically feel its affect on the timelines...
"We"...? [Kazuya would follow Kyubey with his eyes as the small creature leaps off and simply disappears. This poor young man is a bit confused, yes. He shake his head before turning to Takeno, his cheeks are a bit red.] Well, thinking is my job. I have many responsabilities I have to take care of before even getting a chance to rest. But...an Onsen does sound nice...even if I've never been to one. [Kazuya blushes a bit more at his own words, and rubbing the back of his head, he looks away.] A-Actually you said something interesting there, what was that about being an idol? I never thought you had that dream or the interest.
"Never? I will drag you to one if it's the last thing I do, Kazuya-san! That's not a promise, that's an absolute!" She seemed peppy again, only to go back to being mopey and exhausted, as if that outburst of energy was the result of the entire day's conservation. "I don't seem the type, do I? You see that's the problem. I'm brash, blunt, and foul mouthed. Managers aren't looking for that kind of girl. And so here I sit. Learning about audio engineering. It's not so bad really. Just not as fun."
Oh, so we are going on a date, I'm okay with that. [Kazuya looks back at her after taking a deep breath. He didn't want his own shyness to eat him alive, he wanted to be more clear and brave. He would pat her head once again as he closes his two eyes.] Then...I don't think those managers have a very good taste, you know? I think you would do nicely, besides, you are pretty cute already.
I'd have to agree. If they can't see you as a good singer, then they are terrible managers. You should try around here, there's some weird Idols that pop up now and again. Like that one kid manager.... She hmms and grabs a card out of her bag, looking at it. I think if you try, you'd be surprised what could happen. Infinite possibilities.
Take darts her eyes towards Kaz, her breathing taking a sudden hike as she started speaking in a flustered, high-pitched voice. "W-Wait! That's not what I-! W-Well... I-I suppose we could make it a date..." With a quick sigh, she'd look towards Izumi, smiling at her and speaking in a softer tone again. "I appreciate the words of encouragement, but the unfortunate truth is that not a lot of people who would actually hire idols think like you. At least in my experience. I'll keep trying but for now unfortunately, that's just a distant dream."
[Kazuya laughs at Take's reaction. He honestly didn't expect it but nevertheless found it cute, contrasting her "brash, blunt and foul mouthed self." The young man would stop patting her and simply lean against the counter from his seat. He keeps looking at her with a calm smile and slightly red cheeks.] Well, we did say we should get to know each other more...right? And that's something I feel would be great, just you and me having a fun time. So...I think we should make it a date... [With every word, he would blush a bit more. His hand is a bit shaky as well, not because of the cold, but because he was stopping himself from holding any of her hands.]
"You know, Kazuya-chan, if you're gonna ask me out on a date, you should at least look like you're not afraid of me!" She starts cackling and pointing at Kaz, waving her hand dismissively. She places a hand on her chin as she ponders to herself, sneering at Kaz still. "Fine. I accept your terms! Ah... Kazuya-chan, do you even have my phone number? We can organize this at a more... we'll say, opportune time. For that matter, I feel like it'd be safe to collect the phone numbers of other Persona users I meet. Just encase, you know?"
I'm not afraid, I never am! [He crosses his two arms over his chest and forces a prideful expression. However, it's not really effective as he quickly looks inside of his green jacket's many pockets. He takes a good long bunch of seconds as he looks for it, he never really uses it, but might as well just give her his phone number.] Yeah, that might be for the best, it's necessary we have each other's numbers just in case. [Kazuya finally finds his phone and hands it over to her. He is still embarrassed after this, but feels much more at ease with her around than before, and so, he reaches out to her messy hair and play with it for a bit.]
"H-Hey! You're damaging the merchandise! Ugh... I can't tell if I really enjoy this or if I loathe it with my entire being..." She'd copy down Kaz's number fairly quickly, typing it down onto her phone at lightning speeds, as if the little electronic was a lifetime friend that she knew in and out. She'd slide Kaz's phone to him, adjusting her purple beret. "Yeah, definitely. See, now you look less like a deer in headlights and more like a red apple on the body of a man!"
"Damaging the merchandise"? What kind of expression is that? [Kazuya would laugh loudly at this very bizarre expression. He had never heard anything like this back at home, or in his entire life even, it was unique, he had to admit. However, the young man leaves her hair alone, only to poke her cheek. He thinks about what to say next, maybe ask something quick. But then again, messing could be just as fun.] So you like apples as well, that's nice. But I'm surprised you haven't taken a bite yet. [Kazuya would forcefully place a hand on her head once again as he got closer to her face. His smile was ample and his eyes kept screaming "React".]
"Taken a bite...? Ooooh I get it! Hah! Clever!" She leans in closer, still sneering at Kaz. She kept staring into his eyes, eventually breaking the tension with a loud yawn. "You've been staring at me for a little while. Is there something on my face?! Don't tell me I'm getting bags under my eyes..."
I see, I have to be brash one now. [Kazuya chuckles softly at her yawning. He found her messing with him to be comical, more fun than it might actually be. But right now, he wasn't exacty thinking about that. It takes him a couple of second before finally understanding how close they were to each other. He would look directly into her eyes before looking down at her lips. Kazuya shakes his head, however.] There's nothing bad in your face, and your eyes are as alluring as ever. [He gets a bit closer now, however, he doesn't even notice it. He keeps looking at her straight to the eyes. He doesn't look nervous in the slightest, nor does it look like he is simply messing.]
(Akama wakes up with a start realizing that he actually fell asleep while taking an order. A tinge of red appears on his cheeks as he quickly looks around to see if anyone was watching. Lucky for him the place is empty allowing for some self chastisement in peace.) How embarrassing ... (He mutters to himself while cleaning anything left over from last night. Even after his impromptu nap he still felt tired and blearily blinked at the open sign on his door. Ugh yet another think to feel guilty about. Anyone could have just walked in and vandalized the place. Well whats done is done and leaving the sign alone he waits for people to show up.) (Yawning he finds himself contemplating the idea of maybe hiring someone to help him out or just leaving the place open with some faith in human nature ...)
[Indeed, Kazuya woke up on the floor of the diner without much recollection of what happened last night. He remembers Takeno and Kyubey but how he managed to sleep on the floor, he didn't know. He was sure of one thing though, the owner was awake too and unaware of him being there. The counter maaged to help him hide from this embarrassment. He decided to stay down on the floor for a bit as he tried to come up with any plan to get out of this situation. He could just walk out, but that seemed impossible for him given he fell asleep on the floor.]
(Akama could have sworn he heard a sound, but he simply shurgs and goes back to wiping the counter.)
