Secrets of the Mind: Endless Fountain
Out in the wilderness around the strange city of Tokyo was a quiet and peaceful locale. A silent stream out in the woods that would calmly flow down along a rocky shore. It was said that this stream was often associated with legends of the river leading to magical distant worlds.
Many upon first hearing about this river wouldn't realize but on this day the river would run red. Reports of children having gone missing around this area were getting more and more common and the police despite their best efforts had found nothing as usual.
The river almost seems more peaceful than usual today as tiny blue orbs begin floating in distance as if lighting the way.
Izumi had come to examine the reports of children going missing... it was bad enough when adults go missing en masse, but children? The amount of time that could be lost was... staggering.
So she examined the red river with a frown...
I really hope this isn't what I think it is....
Another unsuccessful police investigation would bring Kalib to the woods in question. He treks through the brush with a flashlight in his left hand, on if the night had already claimed the sky, and a crudely drawn map in his left. Eventually he'd arrive before the river in question. The serenity of it all was more than begging him to pull up a seat and fish. A red river would be great story for catching a prize fish...but he was busy.
"Another mystery case? Can't be a coincidence, can it?"
He shakes his head as he places the map back into is pant pocket. His eyes scan the area for anything out of the ordinary and they immediately find the blue orbs.
"And here we go, I suppose."
He would finally notice Izumi as he turned to head towards the lights. He offers the usual warm smile and wave that he gives out.
"Yo! I doubt you're hanging around here for sightseeing, eh?"
(Suddenly, a greenish 7'3 man is behind kalib)...... 'Sup
"Must be a Tuesday."
He sighs and turns on his heel, his eyes travel up and meet Zane's.
"Do I even want to ask how you did it this time?"
No.
No, not at all. I'm here because there's apparently been children disappearing.
That never has a good impact on time, so I figure it needs to be stopped.
"Noted. Behave yourself this time. 'Kay?"
With that he'd turn back around to face Izumi.
"Same here. Cops couldn't come up with an answer, but I had to check and see myself. And what's this about time?"

Aitome hears the strange rumor running about town and shakes her head. Did another one come up? At any rate it was necessary for her to investigate. Entering the scene and noticing the other party members and calling out to them.
Hello hello! Your here about that rumor right? I hope we can all work together! Let's keep a cool head, a burning spirit and hold hope in our hearts! With that we can't lose!
However upon seeing someone look strikingly similar to someone she thought was dead she takes a step back
Y-you.. A-arent you dead..? This is trippy... I'm not the only one seeing this right?
*Nero walks into the area, unusually alone. Looking around at the others gathered, the good doctor smirks before pressing his glasses against his face*
So, nice night for a riverside walk, is it not?

The blue dots would create a path along the river. A sheet of strange looking fog would roll up further upon the path as anyone who looked up would notice that the moon has taken on a reddish hue.
The strange blue orbs would float away whenever someone got close as if acting skittish towards their presence while a almost tropical and foreign smell fills the air. This forest is no longer normal as it almost takes on the image of another world with all these effects taking place at once.
God, yeah right. I've heard stories about gods, they're always killed by a bunch of kids.
One supposedly happened right in my town.
Most people don't believe that, but I think if magic and alternate timeline monsters are real... never know.
She'd notice the blue dots, standing out against all the red that is spreading...
So... think that's how these kids are being lured away?
Yep, and sense I'm a moron, and the one who dies first, imma go first (he runs to the dots) YOLLLLO

*Nero walks forward to investigate the blue orbs*
Hmm. Interesting. So, there is a being that can generate these things. That must be what are causing these rumours of aliens and vanishing children. Must young people be attracted to shiny things so much? It's so stupid.
*Nero then watches Rep run by.*
Or maybe it's just a common trait among imbeciles.
DON'T WORRY, I ALWAYS COME BACK
A small, almost cat-like creature emerges from the woods along the path near the group. It stretches to allow the others time to walk ahead of it, before following, making certain to remain in the back. After all, there's no reason to overly risk itself. It seems to have been listening in for some section of time, as its voice rings out telepathically
So Zane can be useful after all. If nothing else he can test if something is poisonous
The creature's tail flicks back and forth, for now it seems to have decided to remain with its meatshi... I mean the other organisms, though it doesn't deign to speak to anyone specifically
Almost as soon as she hears the voice, Izumi's head moves from watching Rep run off like a fool to looking for its source...
That thing? Here?
Kalib shakes his head in annoyance.
"If it worked on him then it would work on a child..."
He pauses.
"What an insult to those poor kids. I'm so sorry..."
Kalib would shrug and follow Zane from about ten meters back. He scans around the area once more before a red orb catches his eye.
"The moon? What the hell is going on?"
His nose would then be greeted by the smell of a new location for some odd reason. The tropical perfume was odd, just the moon was. Something odd was happening, but he had no clue as to what.
AND I REMADE REPERZELL-2,SO YEAH
Ai watches her surroundings. Growing a bit fearful at the strange setting. Keeping an eye open for any strange things that would appear from the fog. Luckily or unluckily her eye catches the small cat thing that telepathically speaks. Watching it carefully
Hmm... I don't think your the target... You would have done something by now. I suppose we have some more companies, specifically Bug Eyes in that suit over there and a Cat-Dog thing. Just another day in the Nexus!
Aitome then conjures a small flame and a box made of light, putting the flame inside to act as a makeshift lantern, in case the fog got worse she at least had a light. With this new item she then follows the road slowly. Straying from the orbs
I don't trust that... Something is off about those things.
(A girl familiar to any who had witnessed these events before wanders the woods absent mindedly as if she was unaware of all that was happening. Her white hair flowing as usual to go with her serene smile and nearly closed eyes save for the red dots peeking out.)
"The corporation is sure careless lately to let this many out at once. I should be thankful though. Now I can find my own happiness."
Izumi would find the creature trailing a little bit behind the others, close enough to easily observe whatever may happen, but far enough to minimize risk to itself. Its beady red eyes look into Izumi's, apparently she had heard of it before, not like it had done anything wrong.
Is there a problem? I trust you don't mind me accompanying you on this task, though of course I won't take any unnecessary precautions.
The creature blinks a few times, though it almost seems forced in some ways, before flicking its ears and continuing on. Giving Aitome a passing glance
That is correct, I am not the target of this journey. Think of me as an observer instead. Though,
I have relatively little interest in the creature itself.
I PROBABLY WILL DIE, BUT I STILL HAVE ZANE-2 AND I CANT DIE
As they venture further along the path with the strange blue orbs of light moving away the fog would grow dark and hazy. The sound of breathing might be heard nearby followed by a ear piercing howl. It doesn't sound like the howl of a typical wolf though. It's far too desperate sounding, far too hungry.
It would appear from behind the ground in a blur of red and gray. A large yet thing wolf nearly 10 times the size of a average human. It's eyes would be glowing with a blue light. Hunger would flash in its eyes. It's body covered in fleshy pink scars as if it had seen many battles in the past.
???: "I need to eat...please allow me to feast on one of you..."
It felt as though perhaps this monstrosity could not be dealt with at the time. There is only one who can quell the wolf's rampage. The option were as follow. Stay and try to fight it or run towards the blue light.
y-AAAAAAAND WE GOT A BLOD HUNGRY WOLF....NOPE (he runs away) NOPE.NOPE.NOPE.
Why are you here if not to help....
She's cut off rather abruptly by the howl and the giant wolf thing. The sheer size of it was enough to unnerve her...
What the heck!? That's not what we're here to find, is it!?
EAT KALIB, HE'S FAT
*Nero trips up Rep as he passes him by before continuing forward, stopping at the sight of the large wolf*
Well. You look interesting. I'm not exactly in the mood for being eaten though. I vote we let it starve. See what it does next.
I.AINT.GONNA.BE.EATEN.
[A small dinosaur climbs up on Rep's shoulder and shoots a glare at him while growling]
(he jumps up and throws the dino) EAT KALIB, HE'S FAT, AND THAT MEANS MORE MEAT
Aitome listens to the telepathic animal. It was weird listening to another entity in your head. You couldn't tell where they come from.
But she was no stranger to voices in her mind. Responding swiftly
An observer? That's a new one, didn't expect to be watched today. By a... Thing much less.. Do you have a name? Mine is Ai. Aitome Korichi to be exact. I mostl- what was that?
Midsentence she was cut off by a bloodcurdling howl, making her jump to action. Putting the lantern down on the floor as she draws her weapon in one hand before shouting
Just as expected... All according to keikaku. Everyone! We must be careful! You don't typically fight these things.. it has a weakness we must exploit. We must figure it out. Meanwhile we play keep away. Come! Diamond Dust!
With a call to arms Ai places her hand on the ground to spread a spike of ice towards the opponent. Not striking it, more trying to freeze the area around it before creeping up its legs to prevent movement
You know, instead of us voting who's the weakest link, we could always try the age old option of racing to outrun the bear... or wolf.
[After the dinosaur gets thrown, it runs back to Rep and climbs back up on his shoulder again, giving him an even more menacing glare]

The fog changes and the hairs on Kalib's neck rise at the sound of breathing and then the howl. He turns his head to stare head on at the creature. Something felt off though, why was it trying to sound polite? He calmly replies to the creature as he attempts to give the others some time to get away.
"Sorry there pal. I can't let ya eat any of these..."
Kalib sighs as he hears Zane speak.
"....I can't let you eat any of these guys. But if ya really need a fix, then I'm sure something could be arranged. You like fish? I'm an angler, so I can rustle up some grub in no time!"
He'd tilt his head and nod to the others. Urging them to be anywhere but there. Who knows how long this distraction would work.
*Nero shakes his head at Reps statement*
You are such a good friend offering to sacrifice them like that when you are immortal. Well, regardless, I don't particularly care about this flea-bitten fool. Good luck with that.
*Nero starts walking towards the blue light, glancing at the wolf every now and again to see if it would try and stop him*
The creature doesn't seem to care about the wolf very much. unfortunately some of the creature's assistants seem to have decided to pause in place, for whatever reason. Of course, its voice is utterly emotionless, bored if anything. It briefly considers waiting to see what happens when the wolf eats someone, but that could easily be a waste. So the creature runs along towards the blue light
My apologies miss Izumi, I assumed you could hear me. Well, if you still can I said I was here to watch. And in cases like this advise against standing there like a pole. Although it might be interesting to see what the creature does, so if you would like to volunteer, be my guest.
The creature gets a fair distance away from the wolf, before pausing and looking back at the others. If one of them DOES get eaten, it would be useful to see how it happens. Of course, if the wolf started approaching this creature it would naturally run away, it would prefer to rely upon second-hand experience in this case. It briefly watches Aitome's actions, it had not gotten to watch a Persona User in action in such close distance before, so it carefully observes the flow of magical energy she uses to create the ice. Something different from the method he is used to, but as expected the similarities are many. Still, since Aitome did ask, the creature responds
My name is Kyubey. For now, I am simply an observer. As you may be able to guess, I am not particularly capable of combat, so I would prefer to remain out of the way while you work

(The girl would look up at the wold and laugh slightly before walking back into the woods.)
"I wonder if 58 will kill them? They've always been even more hungry then I am. Oh well, I'll find my own food."
You don't have to tell me twice, Red-Eyed Trickster. Those two can handle it, or three, or two, or however many.
Izumi sets off down the path again, at a brisk walk. She doesn't want to LOOK like she's in a panic, even if she might be.
The wolf would glare with cold eyes before growling. The ice would seemingly have no effect on them as they easily break out of it. First of all it would watch the girl in the golden dress for a moment. It seemed as if genuine fear had crossed it's eyes briefly until she walked away.
It would then glare directly at Kalib it's eyes a piercing blue as it began pointing it's snout upwards.
Big and Might be Bad Wolf: "I care not for fish...I want meat! I shall rend your minds from your bodies before I consume you all whole!"
With that the wolf would unleash its ear piercing howl once again but this time the sheer sound of it would slowly begin to make everyone in the area feel as if their hearts were beating a million miles per hour.
The howl would slowly cause them to lose their minds from the sheer terror they would feel upon hearing it.
AHHHHH, OH GOD, OHHHHH GAD, WHY WHYYYY, WHY MUST I BE UN FUNNY, AHHHHHH
The second howl only convinces Izumi to move faster toward the blue orbs in the distance. She's.... actually getting dangerously far from the group now....
*Nero continues walking, but raises his arm and makes a "keep going" motion with his hand*
We get it. You are a wolf. You howl. It's a thing your kind do. Though if it's supposed to do something then give me a slight headache, it doesn't doing anything, so, please. Keep trying. I'll just walk right past you.
*Nero continues heading down the path towards the lights in the distance, just behind Izumi.*

As the sound of the howl rings in her ears she falls to her knees and clasps her ears, ice wasn't working, so she assumed it wasn't going to slow down. Making a split second decision to get up and run. Fight or flight instincts told her this was not a battle she was winning. Using a masukuja speed boost to try and get away from the Wolf and down the path
G-good to meet you QB! This isn't exactly the best time though! For now I say we should run!
AH SCREW IT, YOLO (he pulls out his 7'2 claymore with its golden hilt and the blade with weird carvings and jems on it, he then swings like crazy at the wolf, just bout hitting everyone sense his reach is 14'5)

Kalib shrugs at the wolf's remark.
"Can't blame a guy for trying."
The howl would cause Kalib's pulse to quicken as his breathing becomes more erratic.
"Alright. Looks like you can try to kill a guy for trying..."
Fear begins to grip Kalib's mind further than it already was. A blue card forming in his hand as he begins to shake.
"Well this was fun. But we're going to have to leave now buddy! Catch ya later!"
Crushing the card would summon Roland in a flash of light.
"Help me out, Roland! Get us some boosts!"
Bringing up his olifant, the paladin lets out a mighty sound that would boost Kalib's attack, defence, but most importantly his speed. With his newfound speed, he'd run as fast as he could behind the others.
Kyubey patiently waits for all of the others to start running before taking off itself. After all, if someone was going to try staying behind it would like to watch and see what happens to them in case such a creature showed up again. Assuming everyone ended up running, it would follow just behind them, occasionally glancing backwards at the wolf to see if it is pursuing. Kyubey wouldn't seem particularly bothered by the creature's howling, but it is well aware that the Wolf would have an adverse effect on its companions. Since Zane decided he wouldn't run, Kyubey would watch the fool, just to see how the creature dismantles him.
Good luck Aitome, I'm going to watch the idiot.
Oh, and Zane, you don't add up your height and weapon length to get your reach, at most it is weapon and arm length added up. I thank you for your contribution, I rarely get the opportunity to observe these things, so I would appreciate it if you would accurately describe everything you feel when it eats you so I can take note of it
Kyubey's beady eyes briefly look at the group behind him before turning back to the spectacle ahead of him. The others will probably be fine, and he can always find them again once this is over after all

The paths in which the group would travel down would split off. One would follow the strange blue orbs flying away while the other would be the source of the tropical aroma. Either was correct as they would hear the sound of snarling behind them as the wolf would prepare for it's feast. The orbs continuing down the river while the smell led deeper into the forest.
Zane, having stayed behind to try to fight the wolf he would find his sword would stop at the beasts flesh without even phasing it. It would glare at Zane would blood thirst before Suddenly his sword would be hitting nothing but a cloud of smoke.
The smoke would begin to move forward towards him as right as it reached him the wolfs form would appear from the smoke cloud to slash at Zane with it's massive dagger like claws. The wolf was immediately aiming for his neck as if trying to cut the end off a sausage.
OH SH-(the slash works, but not killiing him, just making a big cut in his neck, but not killing him) GAH....OH, WAIT, IDEA...(he quickly summons his reversed persona, omukade, who wayyyyyyy bigger then the wolf, slams its body into everything except Zane, giving him the chance to get to the group) AHHHHHHH
Kyubey, like a good little roleplayer, waits for the GM's response for the effectiveness of Zane's action. Instead the creature simply watches the... Pair's interaction, dryly commenting on it so far
Zane, on a scale of one to ten, how would you rate your pain? I'm only asking that so I can get as much information from the encounter as possible. Think of it this way, I'm spending my valuable time to watch you, when I could easily be following the others
And so, Kyubey simply stands near the edge of the path, waiting for the wolf to be done with the nuisance. Though it might be a good idea to leave before the creature is finished eating, he can at least let it start

Finishing up her conversation she focuses on running, counting the group with her, Kalib, Rep, Nero and Izumi. They could fight but that ability scared her so she decided it wasn't smart to turn around. Instead she runs to the split and takes a second to think
We might have to split up! That way at least one group can find the source and another can try to distract! I have hope that we will all get through this alive so don't falter! I'll see you on the flip side!
Ai then runs down the forest path, the balls were still unsettling to her, the mist was much more comforting.
*Nero looks down each path, taking notes of what may lie down each path. He watches Aitome go before sighing and following*
This path seems promising. I wonder what lies beyond this... interesting smell. Well, regardless. I like watching fools struggle, so I can hope this one provides... entertainment. Protect me, not her, won't you?
*Nero's shadow shifts slightly at Nero's words.*
(Rep runs into a random path,with his neck bleeding) AHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhh....
Somewhere, far off from the events happening tonight, a woman wanders the forest and growls to herself a bit.
"Tch, the damned wolf is just running around freely... When I get my hands on it, this time I'll put an end to our little game once and for all."
As the wolf's howls travel through the woods, she'd grin under her mask with a feral mix of hate and joy. Her loathing may run deep, but Red's always happy to have a good fight. Still, thing sounds like its a ways off, and knowing it she won't get there in time to do anything... Regardless,
any good hunter can use her prey having been somewhere to get at it, so she'd rush off toward the source of the sound. Getting there long after it's gone, but grinning upon seeing signs of hey quarry.
"Alright. Left or right? Left or right...."
Seeing the orbs floating down the river would influence Kalib's decision to follow the lights. They were pretty fascinating, so surely the kids came this way. He grins as he chases after them.
"This way! Gotta keep my eye on the ball!"
(Then, they hear a loud THUD from the path rep went)...

A man would step out of the shadows, wandering down the same bit of the path as Kalib. If hidden from sight till the man appeared, he'd chuckle and grin at the young man upon catching sight of him.
"Ah, Kalib was it? Yes, I recall that much at least... Good seeing you again actually, you did quite well on our last little adventure, so I'm rather glad to have you along in fact."
That having been said, Zacharie would follow along behind Kalib, trusting the man's lead at this point given his success in their last venture. And, realizing that simply taking charge was perhaps a bit rude as well.
Well then.... the orbs seem like they want to show us something. So let's head that way.
She follows Kalib down the orb-lit path.
AY, SOMEONE HELP ME, MY LEGS DONT WORK
With their paths taken Zane would end up on the river path as well. Kalib might notice that the orbs of light would begin growing in number and slowing down. He might see that upon closer inspection they would actually be humanoid in shape with small tales. A small amount of girlish laughter could be heard from the orbs as up ahead he could see an entrance to what looked like a grove full of the lights. Izumi and Zacharie would follow Kalib along on this path as well and see much of the same things.
Aitome and Nero would take the tropical scented forest path. The smell would grow more complex as they got closer until even within this lush forest they would begin to feel they were approaching a island paradise of sorts. In truth the building they would approach would be a pristine looking wooden cabin. Through the window the could see a figure of a odd shape. It wasn't quite human but it didn't seem to act in a hostile manner from what little they saw of it.
The wolf would be gone for now only leaving behind smoke. The moon would return to normal as the river returned to its natural color.

Well...I'm alone...I think
Having witnessed Zane's success in fleeing, Kyubey almost seems a little disappointed. No point in talking with no one around, this post become rather easy. Best not to wait for the wolf to return,
so instead Kyubey runs down the paths, soon splitting off into the scented forest path. Unfortunately for him he has no way of knowing which path is more useful, so it simply chooses on a whim, its an odd situation for the creature to be sure
Kalib responds to Zach as the orbs begin to slow. He offers a warm smile as he does.
"Yes sir. And you're Zacharie, correct? Glad to have you on my side again! You certainly saved me last time! I'll do better here!"
Turning away he'd inspect the orbs further to see the details he missed before. He continues following the orbs into the grove.
*Nero observes the scene, noticing the figure. He then smirks and looks towards Aitome*
You should go in first. I'm sure there's plenty of treasure in there and absolutely nothing that will murder you in that wooden shack that I can in no way set on fire. I'm sure it's a very good idea. Alternatively, we could just set the damn thing on fire and see what that thing in there does. Your call.
Hmm.... what strange orbs....
If I didn't know better this was some kind of fairy circle....
Izumi also examines the orbs a bit closer...
But it couldn't be...
Well... Time ta move forward, (he walks forward, with his legs magically fixed)
Aitome takes down the path and when she notices the disappearance of the wolf she calms down and splats herself onto the floor, taking a second to meet her new partner. Calming down and catching her breath before reaching out her hand
Gah.. I think we lost them... Your coming with me huh? I'm not sure if you caught it but the name's Ai! Aitome Korichi! Let's work together partner!
However when her companion suggests such... Outlandish ideas she furrows her brow, putting away her blade as she approaches the cabin and knocks
What? Treasure? I don't exactly care about that to be honest! The only thing I care about is changing fate! Choosing our own destiny! As for the shack itself theres no way I'm burning what could be an innocent person! We can always check ya? Come on! It can't be worse then that wolf!
*Nero looks at Aitome with a confused look before sighing.*
Oh. Your one of THOSE. The type of imbecile who thinks things can only get better and that there's good in everyone. I love you watching you die as you realize all your ideas are worthless and you've been wrong and wasted your pathetic lives. Go ahead. See what's behind the door. If you get eaten or flayed alive, know that I'll be here laughing at you.
*Nero smirks, waving at Aitome while standing back.*
Zane would be at the grove location as well but Kalib and Izumi would enter first after inspecting the strange entities closer. They would take the appearance of small girls with four arms and blue skin. They had wings as well and constantly seemed to be smiling. Within the grove itself they would seem to swarm the area as a few began encircling Kalib and Izumi directly. Through some mysterious energy being used on them they'd begin feeling better as they began to relax. Any fatigue they had would be gone and any injuries healed.
In the center of the grove was one that was almost the size of a human. As Kalib and Izumi approached she would begun speaking in a strange language unfamiliar to them to try and communicate.
Meanwhile, Aitome knocks on the cabin door. The door would slowly begin to open to reveal...a giant shrimp man. The strange shrimp looking man would just stare at her for a moment as it's antenna would seem to twitch and it would begin foaming a bit as the mouth. Finally it would hold its weird crustacean like hand up to Aitome as if to shake hands with them.
Ha! I've already had my ideals crushed before! But every time I just get back on my feet and get stronger each time! If you hold hope in your heart you can't lose! Don't worry Partner! On my name I swear to change your fate! After all! I can't be the Wandering Warrior of Fate if I don't help everyone I come across!
Ai then gives a confidant smirk to Nero, she'll show him the power of Hope! Despair will never win again! She'll make sure of it.
However when she sees the shrimp man she falls on her back in suprise. That was the person inside??? It was a shock to her. Taking a second to fully comprehend the situation before shaking her head and shaking their hand. It was only polite.
O-oh! He-hello there! My name is Aitome! Do you mind if I ask you a few questions Shrimp Man? Sorry if I seemed.. Impolite... It's not every day you walk up to cabin and are greeted with something like you!
Well....that's..weird
Make no mistake. I'm not your partner. I just came here to investigate something. I could care less if all of you die here or not.
*Nero watches as Aitome interacts with the shrimp man.*
Oh, I hope they die a horrible death. That will so satisfy to watch

Izumi would first hold out her hands when apologizing, then point to her mouth for not speaking. Hey, it works in movies. Maybe it'll work here.
Zacharie nods at Kalib, yes that is indeed his name... And my, these orbs are quite odd aren't they? Perhaps they'll lead to something worth selling.
"Hmm, it's not an issue, everyone needs a helping hand now and then. And unlike the others you weren't attacking thin air, nor are you a complete and utter fool like the damned immortal. Heh, if anything I should say thanks, for having a reason to actually help again..."

Kalib sees the largest one attempt communication and he tries his best to understand, but can't. However, he continues to smile warmly.

The fairies all around would continue to try and swarm around everyone within the grove and supply them with a constant healing effect to both their injuries and their mentality.
Zacahrie's appraisal this time would go over much more smoothly as the number of files he'd find would be much lower in number. He would reveal the following:

Insight: No effect
Attachment: Effective
Repression: Harmful
"Everything will be peaceful while the fairies help you."
Other than that not much information seemed to be available. It was as if something was locked deep within a place his appraisal could not reach.
The shrimp-like man after greeting Aitome would invite them into the cottage. It didn't seem to be able to speak but could understand Aitome's language. It would also look to Neuro and even the further behind Kyubey as if inviting everyone inside. Should they choose to go in the interior of the cabin would be full of even more shrimp men that seemed to be cleaning the cabin mostly.
A small gathering of them would also be huddled and bowing down to a strange soda machine that seemed to be centered in the middle of the room. The soda machine would have four buttons labeled in a strange language. If someone were to approach the machine the shrimp would move out of the way in anticipation.
(He swats the fairy's away)...god damn good for nothing mini-women...they always destroy ya moth zapper
*Nero looks at the cottage for a minute. He seems to be debating whether or not to burn the thing to the ground or to go in. With a heavy sigh, he decides to satisfy his curiosity and heads inside.*

*Nero looks at the vending machine with a raised eyebrow.*

Aitome perks back up at getting the name right, before stepping in the cottage, looking around to see... An army of shrimp men? This was... An experience to say the least. On the bright side they weren't hostile. Helpful even, a moment of respite felt good. However when she sees the soda machine her eyes widen as she approaches it
Ooh! I think I've seen this before! You enter in anything and it'll spew it out! It might not be the same machine though.. But it can't hurt to try! Let's look for a control panel!
Ai then scours the surface, looking for any buttons or screens, anything that might control the device, eventually noticing the 4 buttons, examining them more closely

Kalib's eyes take on a glint of amazement at the fairy's ability to adapt to another language. He flashes another smile at the "leader".
"I'm doing much better now! Thank you so much!"
He takes another look around in sheer awe of the spectacle going on. His eyes would pass over Zane with nothing but raw fury, but the man remains silent before turning back to the leader.
"My name is Kalib. Thank you for your kindness. Do you mind if I ask a few questions? For starters, what is your name?"
Zacharie sighs at the damned immortal's actions, is this idiot attempting to get himself killed at best? At worst, they might even attack everyone else for being near him... Well, he'll claim no relation to that fool if the time comes, Zacharie doesn't stick his neck out for such people!
"I am quite healthy myself, but your concern is good to hear. Most things I've met lately have been... Dangerous at best, so it's a pleasure to hear someone willing to speak."
Despite his polite words, the man is still rather wary of any this beyond what passes for the norm. Best to be wary of anything odd.
The fairies despite Zane's clear attempt at getting them to back off would actually begin showing more interest with him as they started flying in closer to him. More would seem to move towards him leaving less for the others.
Th leader of the fairies would stare at the group wit an oblivious smile.
Fairy Festival: "Festival! Big celebration! Big feast! Fairy happy! Hu-man healthy!"
Aitome and Neuro would see that a specific name was plastered on the front of the machine,
"Wellcheers, Flavors of the Tropics". The buttons on closer inspection would have 1 letter each that could be interrupted: R, W, B, P. These were the only real hint as to what they did. The shrimp would all begin staring at the two as if expecting something.
Ai looks at the buttons curiously, looks like the only course of action was to press one at random and see what it did.
Well it can't be that bad right Zero? Surely it won't do anything too bad!
Ai then takes a deep breath and presses the B button, crossing her fingers and awaiting the response

Kalib asks the question that had been nagging at him since the fairies appeared. He maintains a professional and friendly attitude, as to not stress the fairies.
Maybe the food is children... Ya never know with these annoying flying pieces of shit
The fairies would continue swarming around Zane more and more as if his resistance brought them closer. All the smaller fairies would now be swarming around him covering him in a spiral of blue glowing lights. Finally, one of the fairies would land on him and proceed to stab a set of jagged sharp teeth into his tender flesh. This would be followed by another and another and yet more following along as they all gathered around Zane and began consuming him while he still lived.
The swarm of blue glowing light would soon become a swarm of red glowing lights as the blood would cover their bodies. The leader of the fairies would continue smiling obliviously at the ground as if nothing was wrong still before she continued speaking.
Fairy Festival: "Hu-man child? Healthy hu-man feast! Festival for fairies! You festival feast?"
Meanwhile, the machine would begin shaking rapidly as Aitome pushed the button. A loud mechanical whirring could be heard as the machine made all manner of noises. The sound of ocean waves could be heard finally before a bottler of Wellcheers soda with a black label fell at the bottom of the machine.
The shrimp man began waving their hands in the air as if cheering at this spectacle.
AHHH FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK (He rips off some off the faire's, and crushing them) THIS IS WHY I FUCKING HATE FAIRES (he then pulls out his lighter, and sets the rest of the faire's on fire)

Kalib sighs as he hears Zane getting his healthy serving of karma. Turning his attention to the leader again, he notices that they didn't seem to know where they went. However, something didn't sit well with him.
"Well who am I to say no after you offer! Of course I'll participate. What's on the menu for a fairy festival anyways?"
His face and voice would say he was incredibly interested in learning more, but just beneath that was an odd twinge of uncertainty.
Izumi looked disturbed by what Rep was saying, until he threw Kalib under the bus again.
On second thought, you can have him. He'll come back again anyway it seems.
As for the feast.... truth be told I think we'd rather be getting home.
There was something... off about what their leader said. Perhaps it wasn't a poor grasp of language, perhaps she really did mean they were to be the feast. I mean, Rep clearly showed they had a taste for human flesh. He was like some kind of canary in their proverbial coal mine.

Once the whirring starts Ai backs up, was it going to explode? She was incredibly on edge. Fair enough for what she had to go through,
however when it finishes she walks up and takes the cup, looking into it and seeing how blue it was
Huh... Well this was a successful adventure by Aitome Korichi! Huzzah!
In her celebration she raises the cup into the air with the clapping and downs the entire thing, if there was this much praise there was no way it was bad right? Right?
*Nero raises an eyebrow as the can of soda falls from the machine and the shrimpmen's joy at it*
And so begins a religion I suppose. Hmm. If this is all, it is slightly... disappointing. I wonder if the other route was more exciting than this.

The fairies seem unaffected by he flames as more and more join the swarm and begin going for Zane once again. They would latch onto him and bite into his skin more and more removing chunks of flesh at a time. If this didn't stop soon then Zane would be devoured completely by the fairies.
The leader fairy still staring blankly finally looks Kalib dead in the eye and with a cheery expression begins singing.
Fairy Festival: "Hu-man! Hu-man! Huuuuuuuuu-MAN!"
Upon Izumi's suggestion to leave a wall of fairies would block off their exit while begginning to giggle giddily.
The soda Aitome drink would tastes somewhat bitter like medicine but after drinking it she would begin to feel better both mentally and physically. It was as if she was restored back to 100%!
Ug.Fine.
*With a sigh, Nero presses a random button on the machine.*
Zacharie simply stares the beasts flying toward Rep, he doesn't like whatever those damned files wouldn't give to him... And oh look, the idiot is being eaten alive by the fae, what a shock to see.
"I'm not so sure that a feast sounds like a good idea, perhaps..."
An aura of power flows around the man, a shining blade would appear in his hands as a pair of large white wings appears upon his back. He'd grin toothly at the fae leader, turning around to offer Kalib a sly look, before facing their... Foe? Once more.
"You should stay away from my prey hmm? Calling me human is quite the misnomer really, and I don't like you lot messing about with them. Sure, I can always find more, but come now it's not as if you lot seem to have a shortage of fools around here. I, on the other hand, am quite in need."
Hopefully, the meaning behind his words shall be clear to his allies, and... Less clear, to their foes.
(He would suddenly get back up, furious as all hell, and slowly walks the leader fairy) listen here you cannibal, pick puckiting, hee hee hoo hoo, moth destroyin' little bitch, I.will.fuckin'.kill.you.

"I'm beginning to think I still can't quite understand at all."
He looks lost in thought for a moment before slamming his left fist into his open right palm.
"Alright! Can you explain the festival to me? See my friends and I are just terribly nervous and we'd like to know how it all works. We don't want to hinder your fun, it's a fairy festival after all, not a human festival!"
He grins confidently at the leader. His eyes locked on her's. But Zach's actions pull his attention away and he seems to follow his lead.
"Zacharie!? You led us straight to their headquarters!? Oh golly!"

Upon finishing her drink she gags a little, expecting something sweet but getting bitter. She did feel much better though. A nice pick me up. When she recovers she presses R for Zero. Tapping twice for hopefully 2
Seeing her options as stay and be eaten like Rep, or be in Zach's debt.... Izumi opts to take the debt.

The fairies would move towards Zane and in massive swarm begin dragging him back in to continue being eaten as the leader just smiles obliviously at him. The leader would then be surprised at Zacharie's words.
"Big fae? Huu-man belong to you? Festival meal already good! Huu-mans belong to you!"
The machine not knowing how to respond to being pressed twice would groan cautiously as the button is pushed. A tropical storm sounded like it was being produced by the machine as all the shrimp men began dancing ritualistically.
A single red canister would be deployed but something was clearly off about it. Perhaps the machine didn't like being pushed so hard as if it had a will of its own.
NOT TODAY YA FUCK WADS (he then pulls out his anti-fairy spray ((or fairy repellent)) and spays it on all the fairy's) FUCK OFF

Zachaire smiles at the leader and claps his hands, he'd begin walking away and place a hand on each of the other's shoulders.
"Indeed, that one is... Rather hard to kill, his body seems to simply grow more flesh whenever it's damaged beyond repair. Why I'd call that overly tall idiot an entire feast himself! Alas, I myself can't stand listening to his foolish babble after so long, but he is quite filling indeed."
He'd then attempt to leave the clearing behind with his "meal" in tow. That same toothy grin still showing on the man's face as his wings sway back and forth a bit.
"Now then, come along we simply must be going. I do believe that our new friends should be left to their delightful feast!"
"Festival meal already good? Then let's get going and party on! Right Zacharie? We can at least do that, right Zach?"
Kalib turns back to check on Zach. He flashes him a quick smie and a silent "thank you". Everything seemed to be falling into place and that didn't bode well for the humans in any way.
"Aw fine! Ya make a good point. This is their celebration. Wouldn't want to overstep bounds."

The fairies would finally dig into Zane's bones and eat his legs and arms.
Suddenly, a projectile was fired directly at the grove. A strange object would land int he middle of the grove before bursting into a burst of strange cosmic energy. As the energy subsides all the Fairies and Zane would be frozen in blaze by a strange crystal like substance.
A man wearing a burnt looking coat jumps down before speaking into a headset.
???: "F-04-83 captured plus a straggler. I think it's too late anyway. Should we proceed with transfer? Over."
Suddenly a feeling of tropical paradise would wash over Neuro as he sees himself standing on a fishing boat. The shrimp would dance faster and faster as water begins filling the cottage. The water could not be felt by Aitome and only seen as it clearly was rising and trying to drag Neuro away to paradise.
(The bone and skin would be there, but Zane is still there) HMHMHMHMMHMH (can't hear anything in all that freezment)

"Ah good evening to you, I assume you are one of Lobomoty Corp's people then? Zacharie, a pleasure to meet you. I'm acquainted with Miss Angela, but you're the first outside of her I've met from LC. Well, despite that I guess we'll be heading out now, the help is quite welcome."
He'd smile at the man, lips showing as his mask ends just low enough for them to be seen. No sense being anything but friendly, not as though Lobomoty has tried to bring him harm, so far.
(Once again the girl appear from seemingly nowhere next to the frozen fairies. She would look them over before picking one up and smelling it. Finally a strange fish like creature of small size would appear near her and begin consuming the fairy as she began to smile intently.)
"Food...Delicous..."
The agent upon hearing the voice of a familiar entity would turn around fearful but cautious. He's lift his weapon at the girl.
???: "N-no way! O-01-64! God help me! Uh, stand down or I'll be forced to use lethal force!"
The machine would begin to give off steam. The moans of some horrible sea monster would echo out as out from the machine a light blue can of soda emerges. A slight glow comes off of it. The effects of Neuro would finally subside as everything returns to normal.
Huh? You know this girl...?
And judging by how he's reacting to her, now may be the best time for their group to skedaddle!
*As the effects subside, Nero's feet re-emerge from the shadows. He brushes some dust off his coat.*
Well, that was an experience. I suppose that may have been worth the trip. So Blue. Are we done here or are you going to insist on playing with these shrimps?
Zacharie sighs as the man points a weapon at her, really? The girl seems harmless enough and given what he's seen he's fairly sure she can take care of herself.

He'd walk off, hands resting behind his head as he hums to himself for a while. Once he's good and out of view, Zacharie would call his wings once again, taking flight from the forest with a smirk on his face, sure he didn't get to try and sell LC anything, but not a bad day all told. Ah well,
he's quite done as he flies off into the sky and returns to that large city he's been hanging around.
Hmm... Yeah it might be smart to leave.. We might have pushed the machine a little too far! I kinda wanna see what happens though.. But yes! Let's at least go to the door and watch from the outside Zero!
Aitome then moves to the doorway, waiting for Zero to get behind her before forming a headlight shield in front of her in case the thing explodes
???: "Transfer, get me out of here! Code WAW!"
After the transmission the man and the frozen fairies along with Zane would be transported elsewhere.
*Nero Follows Aitome out.*
