Mystery Signal: Bounce Back
Last time on Captain Friendship vs. Space Weirdos... The gang took down the mooks in an orderly fashion, they paused for like several months to recover. What will happen now that there is only one unexplored tunnel? What awaits our heroes as they brace for combat? Find out after these messages!
"Ryuusei, pal! You think you're ready to go on? I'm getting some weird looking readings up here! Look like there's a big signal coming from the deepest cavern! Go whenever you're ready!"
The chatter ends abruptly, and a blast of wind comes from the unexplored cave. It feels somewhat soothing.
Ryusei, while still kitted out in his Meteor attire, acknowledges the transmission from his friend.
"Sure thing Kisaragi! We just about caught our breath so here goes nothing!"
The sudden blast of wind brings Ryusei's focus back around. He grins under his helmet before approaching the tunnel.
"Time to get to the bottom of this mystery."
As Ryusei makes his way to the tunnel, another, more sinister, blast of air comes rushing from within. As he goes down it, he can notice some trickles of water flowing from the roof of the cavern. A single droplet of water splashes on his visor. The air seems cold and still despite the past winds.
The sound of boots on stone is heard, along with a yawn.
Nya... Overslept... Where am I again?
...Demons. Deadly and ferocious. Good job, Catto. You are truly a force to be reckoned with.
The second blast of wind causes Ryusei to wince a bit, but he continues down the path.
"Hm?"
Ryusei moves to wipe his visor as the droplet of water hits him.
"I have a bad feeling about this. No matter, I need to keep going."
He keeps going with his eyes peeled for anything out of the ordinary.
Ryusei comes to a massive chamber, within which there is a large pool of water situated in the center. Deep within it seems to be an odd lump in the otherwise clear glassy lake. A single droplet of water splashes in the center. The waves caused by it go throughout the whole pond, but as soon as they hit the walls containing the water, it suddenly bursts into a massive wall of water. The aquatic spectacle fades as a figure, at first glimpse belonging to a woman, stands atop the water.

Cait finds himself in the middle of a great stone cavern, a still smoldering fire pit sits in the center.
"I don't know what you did Ryusei, but that signal's picked up a ton more! These lights are going crazy I tell you!"
"I just have a knack for that I suppose. Give me a moment Kisaragi, something just came up."
Watching the waterworks display got Ryusei on edge. This was clearly the source he had been following, but he couldn't make out the face of the feminine figure.
"Excuse me miss, care to explain what you're doing here?"
Nyeh? What's all this about?
Cait sniffs the air, trying to pick up- and follow- any scent trail he can catch.
This just feels like a demon's dream cave, nya...
The woman reveals herself from the dim light. To Ryusei, it's a familiar face. A knight-esque woman, bearing a cat of nine tails strikes out at Ryusei, dashing along the water. She has two jugs of water on her shoulders, and orbs on her joints matching up with the constellation Aquarius. Her whip glows a light blue as she strikes out at him.

Cait picks up Ryusei's scent going down the central tunnel.
"Don't get hurt out there!"
Eh? So Ryu's here? I can hear somethin' going on... Better hurry!
Cait dashes down the central tunnel, drawing his sword.
"Aquarius Zodiarts, huh? Now who's behind that form is the real question."
Ryusei steps to the side and reaches out to the whip in an attempt to pull Aquarius towards him.
"It's been awhile since I've fought for real, so don't mind me. I'll decide your fate just the same."
Aquarius is flung towards Ryusei, leaving a wide opening, but it attempts to strike out at him before anything can be done to hurt it.

Cait finds himself standing before the lake that Ryusei is fighting alongside the edge of. It seems to be glowing with an otherworldly glow
"Zodiarts... that's the source of the signal!?"
Ryusei crosses his arms to block the incoming attack. Pushing her strike up and out of the way he then delivers a quick punch to her stomach.
"Tch. I just need to remember how you tick."
He takes note of Cait and offers a quick nod.
"Yes, Kisaragi. But I don't like the sudden resurgence."
Cait, after taking a moment to note that fighting by water will not be fun, slashes a card.
Black Cat! Masukukaja!
A black odd-eyed feline appears, showering Ryusei and Cait in a green light. Both their bodies feel lighter and faster.
The punch looks like it deals some damage, but Aquarius seems to be coated in a blue light. When it fades Aquarius seems to be the same amount of health as when the battle started. The light and new cat gained Aquarius's attention, and it strikes out with the whip to both of the combatants.
"You think there's more of them!?"
Nya!
Cait jumps back, flinching as the whip manages to strike his chest. He quickly slashes the card and calls forth Black Cat again.
Garudyne!
A large green tornado sails across the water, headed towards the foe (but aimed so it doesn't accidentally hit Ryusei. Some water will be sucked into the vortex.
"Like cockroaches, Kisaragi. Where there's one..."
Using his heightened speed he dodges the whip save for a small hit to his right arm. He scowls under his mask for a moment before continuing.
"...there's one hundred."
He brings a hand to a device mounted on his arm and places his index finger on one of the buttons.
"SATURN, READY! OK, SATURN!"
As the device cries out, Ryusei's right hand would get covered by a miniature Saturn.
"Take this! Hwacha!"
He strikes at the air with his right hand and launches a large ring towards Aquarius, guiding it in an attempt to take out her legs. If only for a moment.
