Danganronpa v3 Ending (MASSIVE SPOILERS)
I know that this is the phan-site, but I just finished the game and MAN, I have a lot of questions. First of all, I strongly believe that what Tsugumi said in the last trail was a lie, the whole "fiction" stuff. I said that is a lie because in the investigation of the first chapter she cosplayed as Kaede and got her "allergy", she can't cosplay real people, but then she was cosplaying everyone else because they were "Fictional characters", and later said that everyone in the academy were also fictional. Then thats leaves the question of why did she reacted to Kaede? Was it all part of her ultimate talent to cosplay someone and add an "illness"? But if all what she said was true, then I don't expect a new danganronpa game coming, this game make it seem that the developers are tired of making a new danganronpa game and then receiving a lot of demand for a new game. This is just a guess after that, I still need to look deep into other details of the games like the minigames and so on. What do you think about it?
It is honestly complicated.. But WeebyNewz describes how I feel about it anyways.
Kodaka himself said the ending is up to interpretation. I first hated the ending but it grew on to me after the time. Still don't like it 100% but I can appreciate it.
I finished the game too a bit ago and wow, out of all 3 in the main series this is the one i liked the most. As for what i think of the ending. Tsumugi was lying from the start about cospox, so that she could pull all that fictional character act at the end and ofc not be a suspect on Rantaro's trial. She said also that it was the power of her ultimate talent to manage to do that kind of cosplay. If anything never happened i don't think people with ultimate talents would exist in the first place. In the end before being killed by Keebo she even mentioned that she failed in her Copy. What would she copy? I think dr1 and dr2 happened for real and after the situation calmed down and the world returned back to normal, team danganrompa got ahold of the footage from both of them and presented the killing games as a TV show. It made a huge success with the public so much that they had to find a way to continue it and they did. It's impossible that people who were alive by the beginning of it still were by season 53 thus explaining why there are no remnants of despair/future foundation. This, atleast, is what i got from it.

I can agree with Aki, the ending was first incredibly stupid and confusing as hell but I later see it as a freedom of a manipulated and heavily exploitable system of who is good with what, the breaking of the dome made by K1-B0 is a symbol where the light of personal dreams bleeding through a traumatic, twisted and nit-picking world

I agree with Akechi, that Dr1 and Dr2 really did happenperhaps the shitty animation of Dr3 too, but IDC. But team danganronpa decided that they should be popular after getting ahold of the footage of the killing games, and then just popularized it and made it a TV show. They then went to the point in which, they actually killed (indirectly) real people who had no relation to the original Danganronpa and so. Though...going back to what C-Helel said, in terms of symbolism and so, the fact that they abruptly stopped the 53 season of Danganronpa, might show that the creators are tired of it and want to move on.
