Clervals Day off
OOC: This thread will mostly involve Clerval, Aki is not present. For description Clerval is Aki's Velvet room resident.

in the presence of clerval, there is a small growl that sounds like a jaguar, and small WOOSH'S,
can be heard from building from building
I sense a Disturbance. *He looks up*
No today is not the day, I came here to observe the humans,
not chase a fight.
all that clevrval can see is two, small, red eyes, glaring at clerval, still giving him a quiet jaguar like growl

Humans and fighting go hand in hand. You should expect to follow a fight when trying to "observe" humans. Mother's creations are kinda pathetic like that

Aye, your one of Philemon's lot, ain't ya? I have no love for that man. I tend to leave him to his own devices with the humans he seems to have so much interest in. Somethin about untapped potential. Pssh. Yeah, I'm sure they do.

So, the mindless beast thinks hunting us is a good idea? Heh. I almost feel sorry for it.

*Clerval takes out his book and puts up a portal which transports the monster,
Dagda and him into a battlefield*
Guess it goes after the both of us, so we both were transported.
Anyway from here the others are save and we can fight it,
as a servant I will support you as much as I can
and when you are too hurt, I will get you out of here.
*He summons his Persona, Yoshitsune and redies himself*
as it readies it self, its tailgrows huge spikes on his, its eye's then glow brighter, it then waits, for the oppenent to attack first
Well, go on then. I'll give you the first move, Servant's Servant.
A strange man holding a large bony spear with some strange, thick and green orb on the other side of the weapon approaches, staring at everything around him in wonder, as if it was the first time he was seeing everything in Shibuya. Upon seeing Clerval and Dagda, the Hunter jogs over while waving, figuring the two could give him some answers.
"Um, hello, could I bother you just for a second to-WOAH!"
The Hunter steps back at the Nargacuga's appearance, his expression changing to one of shock for a moment before shaking his head and raising his Glaive, entering a combat stance as the Kinsect that was hanging on his arm before gets off, flying high into the air and buzzing at the Monster.
"Huh, so you have monsters here too! Well, i'm not prepared for a Nargacuga yet, but I think we can take it!"
as it knew what he was doing, the nargacuga, trys to slice the bug with its sharp claws, and with extreme amounts of speed
*Yoshitsune Glides for Shielding the Hunter*
And I didn't want to involve anyone in this,
guess my bad luck strikes.
*Yoshitsune takes a swing at Nargacuga but misses*
This thing is pretty fast.
*Dagda casts debilitate, weakening the Repgacuga.*
it notices the attack yoshitsune was making, and for retaliation, it then smacks it with its spiky tail
Good it was weakened.
*Yoshitsune charges it's attack*
The Kinsect buzzes aggresively and attempts to fly lower to dodge the attack, only to be shielded by Yoshitsune. The Hunter sighs and wipes his brow, smiling and giving a thumbs up to Clerval.
"Phew, thanks for the help!"
His smile grows wider as he dashes at the Nargacuga, getting as close as possible before slamming his Glaive into the ground to fling himself above the Nargacuga. The Hunter starts falling rapidly, spinning a bit near the end to do extra damage with his sharp blade to the Monster before jumping off and attempting to roll away. In the meanwhile, the Kinsect flies straight towards the Monster's head, attempting to attack onto it.
"Have some, you beast!"

the monster hunters attack works, and a small amount of blood can be seen, but, it acts like of was nothing, and then it focuses on the bug, running straight into it, and biting it, trying to crush it

So boring.
*Dagda casts Luster Candy, buffing all allies stats.*
The Kinsect, while somewhat dazed from the headbutt, manages to just about maneuvre itself so that it isn't crushed by the Nargacuga's bites. It just so happens that it ends up inside the Monster's mouth in the attempts to dodge. Seeing this as good a time as any, it unveils a stinger and shoves it right inside the Nargacuga's mouth, draining some glowing red essence before hurriedly flying out once the Monster opens it's mouth.
"Nice, now come on back and share some of that essence!"
The Kinsect flies up and down as it rushes straight towards the Hunter. He raises his right arm and the slight opening in his shirt to allow access to his veins, allowing the Kinsect to attack itself to him and inject him with the Monster's red essence before going back to to attach itself to his wrist. He himself seems to get surrounder by the red glow, smirking slightly as he spins his Glaive and rushes to attack the Nargacuga again, aiming at it's deadly tail and dealing extra damage in case of a hit due to the essence.

Yoshitsune! Hassou Tobi!
*cahrged up and buffed, Yoshitsune holds his sword,
a red glow forms on the bottom attacking nargacuga*

The Hunter slams his weapon into the ground once again, jumping high into the air to dodge some spikes, only to get grazed by many others, falling to the ground. He shakes his head and gets up quickly with the help of his Glaive, biting his lip at the feeling of the poison.
"Problematic...But no matter! You may be enraged already, but I can do this!"
His Kinsect starts flying once again, making sure to stay behing the Hunter as he dashes straight at the Nargacuga, aiming for it's legs to slow it down somewhat.
it would growl loudly once more, and it would dash outta the way to the monster Hunter and the bug, and counters by doing two large slashes from its claws, hitting the hunter and possibly the bug, and while the hunter was trying to recover, it then dashes to yohsistune trying. To outhit it with its sharp claws,

trying to stop the healing, it rams into clerval and yoshistune with its blunt like wing,

The Hunter gets blown back by Nargacuga's attack, somehow not getting eviscerated in the process. The Kinsect buzzes as he gets up and is healed by Clerval.
"Thanks. Now, let's get back to the fight!"
Running towards the Nargacuga, the Hunter attacks it's tail, attempting to sever it with his glaive, though the red essence now gone from him. The Kinsect follows, attaching itself to the Nargacuga's right wing and stinging it. It starts draining a white essence.
*Clerval, who got knocked down but still managed to cast stands up and changed back to Yoshitsune, he brushed some dust of him*
You serve well for a monster.
*Yoshitsune hits with a brave blade at him*
noticing the attack from behind, it then slams it mace spiked tail into the ground, knocking back the hunter and doing a whole lotta damage, but let's the bug do the sting. But, its tail would get stuck into the ground, allowing for a free attack
[I]the brave balde hits it in the head, causing to get it small bit dizzy, but still doing lot of damage[/I]

Suppose I should do somethin
*Dagda casts Megadolon.*
The Hunter falls back again, stabbing his Glaive into the ground to stop his momentum and calm down.
"It's fierce. Not impossible to beat though!"
The Kinsect then flies back to it's master, injecting him with the white essence before attaching itself back to his wrist, somewhat tired by all the flights. As the white glow envelops him, the Hunter seems to move with more agility and speed, seeming more alert as he jumps into the air again and once again attempts to cut off the Nargacuga's tail.
it pulls it tail out of the ground, and notices the hunter, it then fly's up where the hunter is, and grabs it with its feet claws, grabbing the hunter by chest part of his body and then, it fly's away with the hunter in its bat claws

"AAAAAAAAGH! I WASN'T TRAINED FOR THIS! I WASN'T PREPARED AT ALL FOR THIS!"
In a blind panic, the Hunter hurriedly turns his Glaive upwards and stabs with as much power as possible, piercing the Nargacuga's hide and getting him stuck on it before he falls to his death.
"Don't look down, don't look down, don't look down..."
Apparently scared of heights despite rising to relatively tall ones most of the time, the Hunter blindly grabs at his waist, grabbing the first bottle he touches, opening it and drinking it quickly,
"Please for the love of Dalamadur, let this be my potion."
The green liquid goes into his body, healing many of his wounds and giving him more ease of breath. It is indeed a potion. His only one.
"Oh boy..."

the stabs into his bottom part of the body gives a loud roawr, and it slowly glides down, , and let's go of the hunter, it then causes to the hunter, and slashes him with powerful blows, as if it had enough

The Hunter's Kinsect flies again, attaching itself to the Nargacuga's tail continuously, bring back a green essence to the Hunter, healing him. Keeping him alive.
"Damn you, you blasted thing! Wait...Blasted!"
The Hunter reaches for a small barrel attached to his belt, setting it's match aflame as he withdraws his Glaive and falls towards a close rooftop. Just before he falls out of reach, he shoves the bomb inside the Monster's wound and laughs. Upon landing, he takes a moment to groan. The fall wasn't fatal, thankfully.

before the nargacuga can attack, the explosion blows, and its tail, is completely blown off, and it screams in pain, as its unable to move, and is just bout dead
now, here comes a big part, ya can do one or two things:
1: kill it
Or two: capture it and befriend it,
The Hunter slowly gets up, leaning on his Glaive and limping towards the Nargacuga.
"I knew getting that bomb instead of a second potion was worth it!"
He pulls his knife out of it's sheath and looks at the nearly dead Monster before sighing.
"You and I can probably do a lot more together. So I guess I won't kill you. Not today."
Putting the carving knife back in it's sheath, the Hunter throws some sort of machine on top of the Nargacuga, a large net coming from it and enveloping the Monster. He draws a flare gun and shoots it straight into the sky. Within 10 minutes, a decently sized ship that flies using hot air balloons arrives over them as fellow hunters and officials look down from the sides, laughing and congratulating the Hunter-No-Congratulating Milo on the capture. He laughs and waves, only to wince and lower his arm at the pain.
"So...How the fuck am I going to get you up there?"
the monster doesn't try to get out,it knows it can't escape, so it just allows it to happen
Several large ropes come down from the ship, with more experienced Hunters climbing down and tying up the Nargacuga. The ropes start being raised, bringing the Monster up to the ship as Milo and his fellows ascend next to it using a lader.
"So...Think we can tame it?"
The Hunters discuss among themselves on what to do with the Monster.
the nargacuga growls quietly
Coming to a decision, the Hunters bring the Nargacuga on the inside of the ship with Milo, handing him a couple Mega Potions. He sits down in front of it, drinking one to heal himself fully and emptying the rest into the Nargacuga's mouth, it's tail seems to wriggle a tad bit. Extending slightly...
"According to the egg heads, regular use of these suckers along with some actual medical treatment should bring you back to full, maybe even regrow your tail..."
The young man sighs and leans up against the Monster, his eyes closing.
"But right now, I think it's time for sleep. Maybe when I wake up i'll have enough sense to stop talking to something that can't even understand me."
Alright, I want to ask a question or two on how we're going to do this.
the nargacuga would seem happy with the tail, but gives to expression to the hunter, sand suddenly sleeps
I'm still thinking bout that
(Suddenly, a red and blue armored behemoth of a man walks in, looking pretty tall, bout 7'3)
...so, a new guy caught a bloody nargacuga?!.....wow

A veteran Hunter sitting nearby, sharpening his Geat Sword looks at Rep, smirking.
"Yup. Kinda out of the blue if you ask me, but it doesn't mean I won't appreciate it. We get a Nargacuga, the egg heads pay us extra to study it and I win enough in bets to get me some better armor."
"All in all, satisfactory job, right?"
He chuckles and then finishes his sharpening, grabbing the collosal blade and walking upwards, motioning for Rep to follow.
"Let's talk more over dinner."

"I don't doubt that. Bloody thing's certainly big enough, but I don't think it can carry some of us in our armor."
He examines Rep thoroughly, as if to learn whether or not he's too heavy.
"But just imagine it! Not only do we have this beauty!"
He knocks his hand up against a wall to indicate the flying ship.
"But we also have a goddamn Nargacuga! Or at least the kid does. Whether he shares or not, I don't know."
Yeah, this ship is pretty cool, but think bout it, what if ya where flying on a rathalos, or destroy through everything onna deviljoe!
As for the kid, if I had a pet nargacuga, I wouldn't let anyone have it either
"Same, only idiots share."
The veteran chuckles as the two reach the dining room and sit down, greeted by a Palico server who hands them a menu.
"Go ahead and eat to your heart's delight. I've got plenty of cash after the bets."
He also gives his order, a large variety of meat and fish. As the Palico writes everything down, the Veteran turns to speak to Rep once again.
"But yeah, ever since the Guild seperated us into 'Companies' to be sent to new worlds, competition has kinda risen. Can't wait to wipe that smug grin off the 7th's faces when they see we have a fucking Nargacuga."
The Veteran chuckles.
(He doesn't look at the menu)
Surprise me mate
(He then looks over at the vertren)
Hehe...yeah, ya right, wait, ya'know what we should do?, capture the monsters and use them for our needs!
"Well, considering technology has moved forward and villages are mostly safe now, I guess we can try."
"Any attempts so far have been failures. Aside from those fucking 'Riders'."
The Veteran places his elbow on the table and leans on his raised hand.
"This one must have not been fully grown yet or the lad would have been fucking eviscerated."
Ah yes....the rider's...I've meet one of 'em before.....weird ones they are....
Also yeah, the Cuga's probably.... Around the kids age..just a little bit older...

"Well, in the end it went well for us anyways, so who are we to care?"
The Veteran shrugs as Palicos finally arrive with the meals of the Hunters, their colossal appetites demanding plates upon plates of meat, fish, soup and vegetables along with multipls large cups filled with some lightly alcoholic drink.
"Maybe that can be our specialty. Monster capturers instead of Hunters!"
The Veteran chuckles a bit before digging in. He eats at a surprising and messy speed, occasionally stopping to drink and make small talk.
"Well, if you had to choose one, which of the big fuckers would you want as a pet?"
(He would then take off his helmets, and man see's 19 year old kid, with hazel like eyes, with long shaggy, brownish hair, down to his ears, and on his right shoulder, he can a small amount of a snake tatto, and starts showing down, and stops to awnser)
Um...well, I would really want the Cuga....also, maybe a....malfestio...or....those odogoron...or...a branchy...or a great maccao, yeah..idk...and a Nergigante

The Veteran sighs and takes off his own helmet, revealing his thick but well maintained white beard as well as his short, similarly colored hair.
"Name's Adam. Been in the business for a good 20 years. You?"
Hm, names Zane, but call me rep, I'm kind of new, but I know what happens here, and I know what to do...most of the time
"Well, either way kid, if the time comes, you better step up to the plate."
Adam nods and gets up, saluting to Zane before moving to his bedchambers.
"See you later, newbie. I hear se're going on an expedition soon, so you better prepare."
And with that, Adam leaves.
Hm...alright then, see ya then,
(He then jumps into barrel, and also sleeps)
