There was 2 year gap between P3 and P4 because of the same game engine.
But now Atlus (the P team) seems to be busy with Project Re Fantasy so other things might delay.

Now that they've discovered they can make spin offs of every genre under the sun? Probably another decade.

Especially since the big 3 are on that new fantasy project. Do we really want the Arena team writing 6?

They already registered domains going up to Persona 9 i heard.
Atlus has finally realized what a cash cow they have dont expect they want to slaughter it so soon.

The domain registrations are probably for defensive reasons. Unless companies do that, you'll get squatters to come along who register the domain and then ask for what amounts to a ransom in exchange for it.

Persona 5 came out in 2014, so maybe we can look forward to P6 in 2017

Considering Sega's intense desire to create spin-offs and milk its cash cows.. and based upon how long it was between P4 and P5; 9 Years. And the fact the SMT Group is who works on Persona.

We'll probably have another SMT game before we have another Persona Game, along with possibly Catherine. Long Story Short; expect another 9 or so years before Persona 6.
