Good to be Evil - Chapter 1
I was a petty street gang leader, pulling pranks on people and occasionally hurting some, survival of the fittest was a common theme in the world. I had hoped that the people would notice that our unjust system is ruining the lives of us. But people remained oblivious. One day, I caught wind of a new gang running amok in town. One that doesn't have a motive and would kill for fun. I didn't bother about my looks as I went to their base, my purple hair was messy and my grey eyes filled with hate as I continued walking forth, I had no weapons as I stood there, being as noticeable as possible.
Hello, ya lost? Odd place to be without a good reason. A teenager wearing orange headphones walks up to him, with a smile on his face. He doesn't seem exactly friendly, though.
I let out a light chuckle as I give him a smile that seems fully open "Nah, I'm not lost, I'm very lost. It's almost like there's a gang taking over the streets I ran!" I say still with the smile
Nice, nice. But you should probably leave if you're considering beating up the hypothetical gang. No weapons makes you a very good punching bag. He hums, taking out what seems to be a DS and fiddling with it. Despite his relaxed actions, he still seems wary.
I let out a light hearted chuckle and close the top screen of the DS looking at him with these, cold dead eyes that look like they're out of a horror movie. "I don't need weapons to take out some wannabes..." I say looking into his eyes.
Whoa, a bit cocky, are we? He laughs a little nervously, backing up and keeping a grip on the device. He puts the hand holding it into his pocket. Well, don't say I didn't warn you. What, are you some kung-fu master or something?
I laugh "No I just am a confident fool..." I say as I quickly with the snap of my fingers go to sleep, of all things I went to sleep, my snoring was fairly loud and all but soon I stood up in my sleep still.
Huh. He'd seen a lot of weird things, but this takes the cake. Might as well test the waters. He steps back, waiting for anyone nearby to act.
Soon enough a strange purple orb appeared in my hand, my way of channeling magic, something everybody could do, but most couldn't channel. Everyone had unique ways to channel it after all, and mine was, well sleepwalking.
Sho hears the news of a gang coming in and goes to check the area, people killing period was something that concerned him. With a pistol strapped to his leg and his mind clear he steps into the scene and looks over a strange person interacting with another holding a ds. Walking towards them he stares at the strange one. Is something going on here? If your just passing by you should really leave. I hear some dangerous gang is about and I wouldn't want you hurt. Sho then sees the strange orb and backpedals, drawing his pistol and staring at it A gift!?! No.. I'm not detecting anything..
Magic. His own little tricks were fair game, then. He snaps his fingers, creating a spark of flame. Ah, so you're not just some normal guy. That means I won't have to worry about doing more than usual. Fire Dance! With a few waves of his hand, two pillars of flame rise up to hit his adversary.
I heard all this, but couldn't see, so I just did my best to dodge while keeping my eyes closed, damage being mandatory, as I soon somehow escaped the attack with light burns, the orbs got thrown as I muttered in my sleep "Darkness..." which followed snores as the orbs flew and soon exploded into what could be seen as the void.
Kade shields his eyes as the darkness floods the area. He could call in some extra help, but a bit of one-on-one action was fun. That didn't hurt at all, but can't see much, so kudos to you. How about a Multi-Strike? He charges forward, punching wildly with light yet fast and numerous strikes. May not be too accurate with the darkness, but he should be able to hit something eventually.
I take a few hits but then jump away from the attacks because the source is obvious as the orbs form together to create, my weapon of choice in any form of combat, a mallet. I swung the dark mallet around for what seemed like ages.
Sho watches the orbs as they fly out and get hit by a few of them, leaving horrible marks over where they hit him. Drawing his pistol he lowers into a combat stance and stares forward at the enemy. Looks like a fight in inevitable. You seem to be the enemy here so I'll fight with you brown hair. The name is Sho. I would introduce myself properly but this doesn't seem like the time. With introductions over, Sho concentrates and peers into the future. Seeing the next attack, with this foresight, Sho runs up and tries to punch the man, perfectly dodging the hammer strikes, perhaps he could awaken and stop the magical channelling, or at least disrupt it.
I get hit by this punch which causes the magic mallet to disappear as I wake up and smack my head "Ow! What a way to introduce myself... Despite me being nameless and all, I still introduced myself and lost, good show!" I say clapping loudly.
Kade here. I'll give you a hand with keeping this guy busy. Not daunted by the weapon at all, Kade goes for a normal right hook after getting his target in focus. He's much more relaxed now compared to when he was first encountered, even seemingly enjoying this. Of course, he stops himself when everything returns to normal.

Sho stands confused for a second, that was it? The fights he's had before this were long and ardues, requiring all of his mental reserves, still, he wasn't complaining. Is that it? I don't really want to fight you. I would simply prefer that nobody died. That includes gang members. What are your plans now? Ah. Nice to meet you Kade. Looks like we dealt with him rather easily.
I laugh a bit "Well my plans were to get this Kade person off the streets because all the cred I'm getting is going to him because he's so cool and what have you, seriously Kade, you're a cool cat!" I say, not bothering if his favorite animal is a cat or not.
Aww, you're gonna make me blush. Not really, but Kade's just saying this jokingly, rubbing the back of his head. You're not too shabby yourself. Nab a COMP, and you just might be on my level! I'd be happy to teach ya if you find one. But that's a conversation for another time, I suppose.
I felt weirded out, what the actual hell was a COMP I thought, as I spoke "A Computer? I have one at home!" Stating the first thing in mind hoping to not sound like an idiot.
Hmm.. I see.. Well surely you can work it out in a way without violence. Like Kade suggested, a team or duo would work out pretty well. Sho then nods and smiles before getting a vision and running away at top speeds, waveing to the others Sorry! Something came up! I'll be going now! Good bye!
Nah, it's that thing I had out earlier. Ask around, and you might get a modified one like mine. Kade takes out his with a grin. Only reason I can even use magic, let alone fight against you. Anyway, see ya, Sho.

Anyway, looks like I gotta do something, so see ya. He waves with a grin, then runs off.
