I have a major problem with my PSP
It keeps on shutting off at full charge and I’ve only had it for 2 months so I just got a new battery today and the same problem still happens. The only time it works is when it is plugged in but it shuts off as soon as I slightly remove the charger port. I have a mystic silver PSP 3000 series and I’ve searched on different forums and sites when I did research but it just leads to dead ends. I really appreciate any help or advice you guys can give.
ask someone who knos how to fix it
I don’t know anyone who can!
buy a new one or go get it checked ( I have a feelin' theres something wrong with the battery )

I'm not the PSP Expert Saddly...
(isdi) oh
bye sry i couldn't help
If it works fine when it's plugged in, then it's a battery issue. Either fault of the battery itself or the connection. If it shows as being fully charged, and shutting off anyway, it is likely an issue with the connection. Worst case scenario the PSP itself is basically fucked, but you can try and wiggle the battery, tape it in place if need be. If the battery refuses to work no matter what you do, then have fun either replacing it or cracking it open. If you have a 3000 I would recommend replacing it with a 1000. The 3000 model might have more vibrant colors, but the think is fragile as all hell, and that fragility might be demonstrated by the issue you're having now.
Thanks for the info but I just took out the battery and charged it and it works fine. I do have a 3000 and I did replace the battery today but I think it is fucked.
