Magus was walking aroundit was a good way to spend the time now he has returned from him travel. He walked around and stared at the fountain's water, seeing his own reflection. Just a bit more... Magus stared at the water for a few seconds, after that he used his cape to cover himself, it is a good way to avoid the cool breeze.

*Hat Kid was walking around, perhaps looking for something*

The girl takes a deep breath, looking up from her own reflection in the fountain to find Magus near her. He's most certainly dressed oddly, but maybe he's been to a convention recently or something. Those are things, right? The blonde girl waves over to Magus to get his attention "Excuse me, are you looking for something? You look kind of... Focused... Err, pardon the intrusion." The girl grins nervously and scratches her cheek with a big smile

Magus looked at Rasa, for an instant he was about to ignore her but the question got his attention. I could say I'm looking for something... Ignore what I've said. I was just thinking, I've been away for a long time travelling and exploring. I prefer to not give any details because it has been... a chaotic travel. Magus looked away, avoiding Rasa's smile and trying to not scare her by giving the intimidating look he always has. An instant later he looked Rasa with the corner of his eye and asked her. Why are you here? You look like you are cold. Magus opened his left hand to cast a little flare on it. Don't worry, is not a dangerous flare.

*Hat Kid would notice Magus and Rasa... and walks up to them*

You don't need to apologize or explain anything, kinda just put this up cuz I was bored, expectations are kinda low The young, blonde girl pauses for a moment, deciding not to ask anything as Magus leaves, instead, she takes note of the other, younger kid and waves at them, a gentle smile playing across her face "You looking for someone? I'm afraid the other guy just left. Looks like its just us for now."

*Hat Kid looks at Rasa* "Im not looking for someone, im looking for something" *Hat Kid said like she does not trust Rasa about this info*

The blonde girl sighs and shakes her head, glancing down into the fountain for a moment "Would you care to describe what you're looking for? After all, I can't exactly help you find it if I don't know what it looks like."

*Hat Kid takes out a picture and gives it to Rasa* "It looks like that... The blonde girl accepts the photograph, looking at it, kinda looks like an hourglass. Except glowier. Another magic MacGuffin maybe? Oh well, the young girl nods "If I find any I'll make sure to try and tell you then. Do they just sort of show up randomly, or is there some kind of condition?" Though she would never purposefully search for it, still better to know more about the things if she can in order to be able to help as much as possible

"They show up randomly somewhere... sometimes in rifts as well... but what ever you do, do not break them"

The blonde girl leans her head against her hand as she thinks for a moment, before smiling back "I'll be sure to be careful then. Would probably rather not find out what happens after all."

"Alright" *Hat Kid's hat changed into the Sprint Hat as she looks into the water...*

Ya know, kids shouldn't be out at this time. *Kai starts approaching Rasa and Hat Kid, holding a bottle of some sort of orange liquid in his hand. His sunglasses are snuggly in his hair and his usual toothpick is missing.* Here there be monsters, after all.

A 6th grader bikes in* then why are you out at this time?

The blonde girl, noticing Kai's approach, leans on the fountain and swirls its water with her left hand, before smiling back at him "I haven't had anything terrible happen so far, and besides, its almost like these things happen on a script. A little sad though. That there's so often so little to be done." The girl looks into the fountain, staring at her own reflection, distorted by the ripples

"you seem to be an accomplished warrior, so could we spar?" the 6th grader says pulling out some electrical pistol with glowing lights

Script, eh? Heh. Well, as a nameless nobody, I suppose that makes me one of the mooks cut down in a battle scene. Heh heh. *Kai takes a swig from his drink.* Life's borin'. But, I don't think about philosophical crap like if it's all set out for us.

*Hat Kid sighs as she turns around and looks at Kai, who she remember who attacked Chohi*

the kid (6th grader) summons his persona, 6 and attacks kai with a bolt of lightning

The girl stops smiling and turning the water, glancing back at Kai with a sigh "Guess you've got a point, not much of a point worrying about things I can't change." She looks back into the fountain, staring at her own, now stilled reflection "Sometimes I simply wish there was a bit more I guess. Sorry if it comes off as rambling or anything. Just... Been thinking about it for a while."

*Hat Kid walk to a bench and sat down, soon finding some yarn and putting them into her pocket*

Well shit. I can't laugh at that. I can't exactly answer what you should do there either. Hmm... *Kai scratched the back of his head.* You got any ideas of what you might try to do to get that bit more out of life?

*Hat Kid looks around to see if there were any time pieces around*

The young girl sighs and shakes her head "Not really, no. That's why I shouldn't bother worrying about it." After a few moments, she scratches the back of her head and laughs, returning back to her usual smile "Sorry about killing the mood there. Like I said, really no need to think about it. What brings you here?"

Came here to buy some crap from a supply store for a contractor. It was closed so I bought a drink instead. And broke into the store and stole the products, but the drink is more worth focusing on. It's mango juice, I think. It's tasty. *Kai coughs nervously.*

*Hat Kid looks at Kai... and knows that she should not tell him about the time pieces*

look, Hat Kid, at this point I'm kinda wondering why you're around so much if all of your posts are going to revolve around these MacGuffins of yours. Like, I don't think anyone here was planning on doing anything with them, have you tried interacting with people? Sorry if it sounds a bit harsh or anything, it just seems weird to me Rasa covers her mouth as she giggles, deciding to go with Kai's suggestion of glossing over the whole "theft" thing "So mango's one of your favorites then? Unless you're trying something new. Always worth trying to broaden your horizons I say."

Heh. Well, I tried the other one, but it wasn't as good. *Kai chuckles* What about you, kid? You just wandering around places, eh? Or are you here for some shopping or to mingle or whatever it is normal people do.

*Hat Kid gets up and leaves*

well that... Was less than hoped for The girl smiles and looks out across the mall as she replies "Well, with school out I don't have too much to busy myself with. So sometimes I like to come out here and just watch people pass by. I find it to be kinda fun at least, certainly better than remaining cooped up at home all day. For example, take that guy over there." The blonde girl points to a normal-looking man in a business suit as they walk by "He's been to a jewelry store, a flower shop, and one of those spa places. Probably looking for a gift for his girlfriend, or wife. That's why he's here alone, to keep it a secret."

*Kai raises an eyebrow in surprise* You're an analyst. Interesting.

The sixer watches all that's going on and sighs, regretting that he never sparred

The girl shrugs, turning her attention back to the fountain "I've never really thought of myself that way. I just notice stuff and like making guesses. I could easily be off, guess neither of us would really know that though."

Is that all it is? *Kai shakes his head* Nah, I think that's a good talent ya got there. I may be wrong here, but I figure if you develop that talent you got there, you may fix your boredom problem. Hell, maybe you could even do some good in the world with it. But, that's just the ramblings of some na- *A buzzing noise can be heard from Kai's pocket. Kai takes out a phone, frowning at the message.* Dammit. Of all the- Listen, I gotta go, kid. You can disregard what I said if you wanna, but I still call you "noticing stuff" something you could build on. Welp. Catch ya round. *Kai runs off towards the exit to the mall, waving to Rasa with the back of his hand before he's gone from sight.* OOC: It's gotten late here, so I need sleep. Bye.

"G... Good night." The girl waves back at Kai as he leaves, thinking about his words for a moment, she's never really thought much about it, but maybe she can prove useful, just with that. It can't be worse than just standing there doing nothing right? The thought of it is almost unbearable aftter all. Still, best not to linger, for the time being the girl takes a deep breath, and continues watching the mall

Alexei knew he wasn't much for public places or public anything but the heat of the day practically forced him out of his nice room. With his earbuds in he enters the local mall showing a certain level of caution that can be attributed to a startled cat. With expert agility he masterfully weaves his way around columns and stores. Making it to his final goal. A bench. A pretty nice bench located near a fountain. He knew the noise would drown out any annoying conversation and no one would bother looking for him here. Save maybe for the girl sitting on it too but he could possibly take being near a single person. Flicking one earbud off he quietly greets the girl. "Hullo ..." Then flippantly flicks the apps on his phone.

*Hat Kid comes back and sighs, maybe she should make some friends here since more people are coming her then anywhere else*

The girl looks up to Alexei, though she could hardly hear him, they definitely said something, and seeing as the other person is looking at her. "Oh, hey, did you need anything? You don't... Exactly seem like the talkative type."The girl seems to realize what she's saying, and laughs nervously, scratching the back of her head "I mean... Sorry, its just you were a bit quiet so I couldn't hear you is all. W.. That was directed at me, right?"

"Uhh yeah I was just trying to say hi. Like you know being polite. Common couretsy is key my mam used to say and she would go on all these tangets and urp." He looks down to his knees once he realizes that he is going on a nervous tangent. He hated when this happened to him but things always get all intense and he already felt like shaking his head. Just to clear the cob webs out or something. "I'm not good with words or being interesting .."

The girl smiles and laughs, covering her mouth in some attempt not to seem rude, the other guy is weird, but in a way she finds somewhat refreshing, considering all the other weirdness that is "I think you're interesting. Certainly different from most of this other stuff." After a short pause the girl looks off to the side, certain to avoid any eye contact and continues "Besides, its really not too complicated. Sometimes you've just gotta try saying something or another and odds are it'll work out pretty well. I mean, that's kinda what talking is about, not some overly-flowery or dramatic speeches or whatever, you just kinda keep talking and see if it goes anywhere."

*Hat Kid looks at Rasa and Alexei, soon sighs then she walks over to the bench, and sits down as she wounders what she should do*

Alexei rubs the back of his head while pondering a bit on what the girl just said. It almost seemed too good to be true for conversation to be so easy. To him the act of talking was more like a scripted play where everyone knew exactly what they had to say next. Yet for some reason he never got the script and always drawled on until the other person's eyes glazed over. He was sure that the girl really believed the advice she had just given but his experience was telling him otherwise. "I appreciate the advice but thing is I never really know how to start anything. And well continue anything too. It's like the words get kind of stuck you know. Like something is sort of keeping them there and anything coming out is just silly." He risks glancing at her to gauge her level of interest. Much to his pleasure she doesn't seem to have tuned off yet. "M-My name is Alexei by the way. I'm sorry that I didn't tell you earlier or ask for your name! Oh my I am so sorry. Forgive my rudeness! I kind of have too much going on up here you know." He awkwardly taps his head in a pleading gesture.

The girl smiles, staring at one of the many side stores and playing with her hair, at least, until Alexei asks for her name, at which point she suddenly freezes for a moment, smile gone. After a short time, the girl sighs"Don't worry about it Alexei... In fact, it might have been better you didn't. You see...." The girl nervously sifts her fingers through her hair as she thinks of the best way to say this. A deep, bracing breath later and we're off "I... I've been going by Nanashi. I.. Hope that's not too weird."

Okay kind of a weird response but Nanashi had been really kind so far. Thus it wasn't in Alexei's personal interest to go probing any deeper into the lady's secrets. He had a few things he didn't really want to share himself and questions would probably lead into them at some point. With a faint smile he finally gazes up at Nanashi and carefully holds out his hand for a shake. "Nah Nanashi is a pretty cool name and who am I to judge with my isolationist habits. So officially I dare say pleased to meet you Nanashi. I hope the two of us become decent conversation partners cuz the alternative seems like too much work."

*Hat Kid sighs and waves to Rasa and Alexei*

Nanashi breathes a sigh of relief and extends her hand to shake Alexei's, her usual cheer and smile quickly returning "Nice to meet you too Alexei. I think its safe to say we're already kinda conversation partners." Nanashi lets go of Alexei's hand and scratches the back of her head for a second "You know, because we've been talking for a while and all." Nanashi, catching sight of the hat kid once again, politely waves back to the kid on their bench off to the side

Alexei suddenly stands noticing the time on his phone and awkwardly bows. "I'm sorry but its getting kind of late and I need to go feed my pet cat. I hope to see you around sometime Nanashi." He waves at her one last time before fleeing into the throngs of people exiting the mall.

*Hat Kid goes back to her Spaceship*
