Apocrypha Part I
OOC: This will be my first RP and depending on how it goes I hope to make it a series. At the very least its the first part of a pretty long series so i hope you enjoy The crescent moon hung in the sky as the remnants of winter still clung to the city. It was another normal night. Late night clubs were open. Couples were walking in and out of hotels. Only a few noticed the anomaly that had already begun. The numerous black wings of crows flapping through the cold night sky screeching at all living things. Not something some would think twice about. But it was the winter time. On top of that the number was obviously. It didn't take long for the first scream of the night to echo over the voices of the numerous passerby. The crowd didn't move as they began to flow to one direction to see the cause.
OOC: You've said this is your first RP here, I want to know if you are new on the site because at this hour the forum is not very active. If you wait a few hours maybe someone shows up, also, I've come to say this to not make you think you are being ignored.
OOC: Yeah, I'm kind of new. Only been on for a week and i kinda figured it would pretty dead at this time but i decided to give it a shot anyways since I usually can't get on any earlier haha. Thanks for your concern though :)
OOC: I would like to join to your RP and see how you do it, if you wait an hour I'll join. Anyways if someone shows up don't leave him alone, I can always join in the middle of it. Also, if you want later we can go to the PMs and I can tell you how the things works here.
OOC: Thanks, I would very much appreciate it
A young man with a gray hooded coat would be observing the crowd from a few blocks down the street. His clothes covering his entire body as if to hide any distinct features he might have. A scream in the night wasn't something he was too accustomed to. It wasn't that he didn't imagine that there were plenty of people screaming in pain all over the city but normally those screams would fall on deaf ears. For someone to scream in the middle of the night out in public was certainly something else entirely. It could mean that perhaps the scream was meant as a way of drawing attention or that maybe there had been a panic of some sort. It was an odd enough occurrence to make the young man wonder. He'd attempt to gain some distance between himself in the crowd in order to ensure that nobody could see what he was about to do. He'd look to see if there was an alley somewhere on this street or at least anywhere he could be hidden from the general eye.
The crowd gathered to where the scream was heard out of curiosity. Some laughed at the woman in the middle of the crowd who screamed and others made jokes. On the side of the road was a dead black rat about the size of a grown mans fists. In a way this wasn't anything out of the ordinary. The cawing of the crows began to increase in volume as if to match the crowds laughter. What happened next however changed the laughter. Another scream echoed within the crowd. As people turned to the location of the scream yet another dead black rat was found. Other screams could be heard in the area with similar occurrences.
The screams would surprise the young man who would immediately pull his attention away from trying to become hidden. It seemed the situation was becoming worse whatever it was. Perhaps now wasn't really the time to allow his disdain for large crowds to get in the way of investigating this incident. He would look around to notice the odd amount of increasing dead vermin and the crows that seemed to be flying overhead. He'd head over the crowd to try and see if he could investigate one of these deceased rodents more closely. Perhaps there would be a hint as to what was going on hidden among one of these corpses.
As people began to panic more of these rats had begun to appear. When Quintus observed one of the rats there was a peculiar scar on its back the shape of an Egyptian Ankh with a dim golden glow as if pulsating. Another scream was heard but this time it was different. An individual was running through the swath of people covered in live rats all similar to the ones from earlier. Soon rats had began to appear one after the other attacking random people. Among the crowd there people who were just standing. These people did not run or make any sounds. They simply stood there with a blank face. Even the rats ignored them bringing an eerie appearance to the whole situation.
A rather large man would begin pushing his way through the crowd after hearing the first scream. His simple dress left him open to the elements and definitely caused him to srand out, but he didn't care. Someone was making a quiet night very noisy, and that was unforgivable. After some struggling, he'd eventually catch up to the main attraction. In doing so he'd spot the dead rodents and a familiar presence. "Well, well... look what the rat dragged in." A cheeky grin would cross his face before being startled by the rat covered citizen. And seeing the crowd grow still and silent was also foreboding to say the least. "Well then, you don't see this everyday."
Quintus would look down at the mark. It was oddly beautiful with its golden glimmer despite its less than savory location. He would try to transfix on it and recognize what the symbol was in the first place. He felt he'd seen it before like it was a popular symbol of some sort, but he would have trouble remembering its exact meaning. His contemplation of this odd clue would be interrupted as he noticed that the rats seemed to be attacking the crowd. He'd begin backing away from the crowd once more, unsure of how to react. One thing that would be even more unsettling to him were those who were just standing completely motionless. He made the decision to simply leave the rats be for now. There wasn't much he could do against such a widespread infestation. He'd leave it to the civilians to try to get away before they endured too many injuries. Instead, he'd try to approach one of these motionless people. First, he'd attempt to speak to them, it seemed to be the most reasonable. "Hello, can you speak? If so then could you tell me if you're alright?" He'd look over the individual if it was possible, trying to discover if anything else was off about them.
A dragon flied into the area, she knew it was not a good idea to fly directly to the crowd because it could scare the people even more, she decided to remain in the sky, thanks to her trained eyes she was able to see the rats and got an idea about what was happening. Humans are scared for rats? I think hey can't do anything bad, or are those rats monsters? Hmmm... For now I'll remain here, I don't want to scare the humans.
The same golden Ankh would be found shimmering on the foreheads of these people before they finally reacted "BrINg mE tHe MOthEr OF DeATh" all the motionless people screamed. Their lifeless voices holding a disturbing shrill The language that was spoken was obviously one not known to anyone and yet as if the brain was being forced to translate it, it could be understood while bringing a mild headache. More of these lifeless people could be seen in the distance slowly dragging their feet behind them. The street lights began flickering as more crows had begun to cover the sky. Circling around an area further down the street. The streets slowly cleared yet there were many people who laid on the streets unconscious with dead rats laying next them. A rat had bitten Quintus and Imthefakekalib and for a moment they felt as if something was trying to seep into their conscious. As if dark cold tendrils were searching for something within them before the power withdrew and the rat died.
Quintus would be shaken by the strange words being spoken by the crowd. His head would hurt a little as his mind felt the stress of having to translate what they were saying. He'd be so distracted that he wouldn't even notice the rat that had bit him. The presence of something foreign trying to dig into his mind unnerved him even more and filled him with a hint of fear. It was with the withdrawal of this power that anger would take the place of his fear. He'd be quite upset that some being that seemed to be aking to some kind of greater force tried to use him in some way. He'd watch the ground for any more rats before proceeding to back away from the crowd. With all the strange events occurring he'd barely notice Fakelib in the area. His attention would be more focused on the ground now as he tried to work his way through the situation.
The Kushala stared at the Ankh for a moment, the money of death? She know what is money, but is really that dangerous? Probably is good idea to intervene... If they begin to fight I'll go, for now I'll remain here in the sky. The Kushala kept flying at a safe distance, to not scare the humans and able to intervene.
Succumbing to a brief headache, Kalib was able to make out the words just barely. However, in suffering through the headache he wasn't able to deal with the rodent before it could strike. The sensation was oddly familiar to him, yet foreign all the same. His pulse was racing wildly as the darkness peered into the very fabric of his being. A cold sweat would be on the cusp of breaking, yet it never did. The rat was dead and the power absent in what seemed like an instant. "Scum ridden bastard. Tch, and to think I liked rats. How rude!" Clearly back to some semblance of normalcy, the man goes to shake his leg free of the rat but notices the symbol. His mind wandered for a moment but he eventually remembered to free himself of the rat. "Mother of Death, huh? At first I thought I'd be able to give that Nyx broad the ol' one two. But it seems like another dark force is going to try my patience. That symbol doesn't ring any bells aside from where it's from either..." The man angrily scratches at his head as he continues to pick apart what he knows from what he doesn't. His mind would finally accept that he was missing a crucial piece and snap him back to reality. "Oh right, Quin." He'd slowly make his way over to the boy. He looked to be lost in thought so he simply waited just out of his line of sight. He needed someone else to try and work this out too, so a premature interruption wouldn't benefit anyone.
There was a slight tremor that ran through the ground along with the sound of an explosion. After a few moments something could be seen flying from the south. Before anyone could even register what it was it crashed into the ground rolling over a few times before stopping. It looked like a metal box that had been crushed but under closer inspection it was a military grade armored vehicle. The door flung open as a pile of dead rats poured out. In this pile were three people in wearing the JSDF uniforms covered in their blood with most of their clothes torn probably from the rats eating through it. More noise could be heard coming from the south. Screams were heard over the walkies in the vehicles. A request for retreat was heard before it all went silent. Command began asking for a status report but no response was heard "
Quintus would finally wake from his thoughts as the vehicle crashed into the ground nearby. The impact would nearly knock him off his feet but he'd quickly regain his balance. He didn't even need to approach the vehicle to see the sheer amount of dead rats pouring out of it. "What exactly is going on here. I've never seen something so...direct. It's like it doesn't even care what humanity thinks of it." Quintus would finally notice Fakelib standing near him. He'd be a bit surprised to see him but also a bit relieved to see a familiar face. "Boss? What are you doing here? Do you know what's going on? I have reason to believe this is the work of some higher power but this all seems a bit random. What could it be trying to accomplish through all this?"
OOC: I'm more busy than expected, continue without me
OOC: kk, come back anytime. Its pretty open. Hope you enjoyed so far
The tremor and explosion were nothing compared to the sudden appearance of the flying tin can of corpses. Kalib would stumble backwards and trip over his own feet. It was sickening. "Even Nyx had a certain...elegance to her actions. But this is unforgivable. You're onto something there Quin... oh, Quin!" Kalib hops up and dusts himself off before turning to his comrade with a faint smile. "What am I doing here, huh? Well I was trying to do some recon, and well... stuff got noisy. And I don't want to say this is the work of a god, but I agree that some nasty power is being tossed around. Egyptian in nature if those rats are to be believed. Of course I slept during those classes in high school..." He sighs and continues. "But the goal? It can't be as simple as chaos and death. But who knows?"
The cawing of the crows suddenly grew thunderous. Strangely enough they caw in a rhythm almost like drums. They circled the area as the street lights began to flicker. The rats all but stopped and divided making a path. Soon the crows all became silent. The first time since they started and soon after the sound of foot steps echoed in the street. They were slow and light yet each step created a pressure that weighed on everyone in the area. The street lights almost as if welcoming the presence of this guest suddenly stopped flickering and began to shine brighter as if to wash away the darkness. Soon a figure could be made out. A young woman with bronze colored skin and makeup that would remind you of Egypt. Wearing silk decorated in gold and jewels while having an ominous bandage wrapped around her stomach. She had a lotus staff in one hand and a glowing Ankh symbol tattooed on the palm of the other. She stopped and looked at the two who stood before her. Words leaving her mouth in an ancient tongue yet, like before, translated directly into the brain bringing about a momentary headache. "You were not affected? Curious. You are not simple humans then?" she said with a pondering expression. Yet despite talking to them her eyes showed nothing.
Again the headache grips his mind as the words get translated into his mind. He attempts to save face by clenching his teeth into a grin and look daggers at the woman. "Real shame you're kinda cute. Whatever comes next is gonna hurt me more than it'll hurt you, truly." The headache passes and Kalib catches a few sharp breaths to calm himself. "And we may be outliers to most of humanity, but don't you dare say humans are simple. I won't forgive that level of ignorance, even if you're some demigod or what have you."
Quintus would grab his head in pain once more as Fakelib would speak to the strange woman. Finally, as the pain passed, he'd look up as well with a hint of annoyance. "Do you really need to keep speaking in that strange way? Seems rather inconvenient that everytime you speak you cause people a headache. Regardless, I share my boss' grievances. Your affliction on humanity is of great inconvenience. We'd prefer if you stop this at once and go back to wherever it is you came otherwise we'll have to be a bit more forceful."
Once again she spoke and once again the headache began. "Humanity?" she giggled with a cute laugh that didn't match the surroundings whatsoever before continuing "Humanity is simple. You two obviously are not. Also, there is a misunderstanding. I am no god. If I was this world would have been cleansed of all sadness. A goal I earnestly wish to accomplish." she said as her gaze moved past them. "Children should simply stay put and remain silent" After those words left her mouth the headache ended but for a brief moment you feel like you were compelled to obey only for the feeling to pass just as soon as it had begun. She had begun to walk again as if she planned to ignore your existence. Her night had obviously not ended.
The headache lasting longer than normal was certainly painful, and her trying to be cute about it was insult to injury. Through clenched teeth he'd try to spit out a snide remark or two, but to no avail. The pain was enough to stop Kalib from speaking, an impressive feat. "Gah.." Her insults to the rest of humanity continued to rile the man as he continues to stare daggers at the woman. She may not be a god, but trampling on the one thing a mad man loves is a no no. However, all that stopped for a moment as a desire to obey washed over Kalib. But it was gone as soon as it appeared. Shaky breaths were all Kalib could muster as the feeling passed. It wasn't a sensation he was fond of feeling again. "Alright you witch. If your little stunt tonight is any indication of what your idea of a world without sadness, then feel free to put up your dukes. I won't be letting you go that easy." He spits on the ground before raising his arms in defiance. "Children should remain silent, I agree with you there. A real shame that I'm a Demon, least that's how people see me?"
OOC: Sorry, I've been awake too long. I'm gonna have to exit here for now.
The woman stared at the man. Her cold gaze piercing into him. "A demon...you say" All of the crows landed on nearby rooftops as they stared at the man. The rats all turned their attention to him as well with their beady eyes. As if they were all waiting for a new corpse to feed on like the greedy rodents they were. "This world has no need of demons" Suddenly two arms of darkness extended out of her shadow more than two times her size with fingers that could only be described as barbed claws. The shot towards the man whom called himself demon as the woman stood in place under the street light.
The man's eyes come to life as the mystery woman finally throws down the gauntlet. "Come on lady, figure of speech. Well, not like you'll believe me that easily. Don't cry when I break you, 'kay?" He playfully cocks his head to the side as a dense fog rolls in behind him. From within the fog come several beady red eyes, not only that but two black orbs would roll out and bound into the air. "Alright! Go time! Anomalocaris and Spider, Armed Mode!" The orbs open to reveal the called out creatures. An ancient, undersea arthropod and a large spider. Both were black as pitch with beady red eyes. However they didn't remain in that form for long as they both turned into clouds of black smoke and affixed themselves to Kalib's wrists. "Anomalocaris Gauntlet! Spider Watch! Armed and ready to go!" The smoke coalesced to reveal a large gauntlet running up Kalib's right arm and a watch on his left wrist. The watch looked as though a spider was actually mounted on his wrist, and the very make up of the anomalocaris went into the gauntlet. In a desperate maneuver, Kalib raised his right arm against the massive claws. The sheer size pushing him back more than he expected. "Whew! This is gonna work up a sweat... alright doll. We're gonna be butting heads for awhile, so what's your name?" His question was genuine as he continued to struggle against the massive arms.
The woman stares at the man as he held his ground in interest. Showing a little surprise at the current spectacle. "You truly are a curious human. You may call me Radja." She raised her staff and soon after wind had begun to gather at the tip that looked much like a fan. The wind quickly began to swirl around the staff as the windows in the nearby buildings began to visibly tremble. She was getting ready for a big attack. As this was happening the fingers of the claws suddenly extended as if they were flexible cords as they attempted to wrap around the man as if to make sure he could not move while she charged her attack.
"Curious doesn't even begin to describe me, Radja." The spider on his left wrist would raise its hairy abdomen and begin vibrating in a sort of rythmic dance. "Kalib, by the way. But enough about that, let's go back to killing each other. Spider's Masquerade!" The spider would continue to dance as Kalib seems to multiply. At first it was as if it was a mirage, but as each copy pulled away from the original, they seemed to solidify. Behind Kalib was now a group of four others, all indistinguishable from each other and all with dancing spiders on their wrists. The clones would use their gauntlets to pry the arms off of Kalib as he was slowly beginning to be entangled by the fingers. "Me, Myselfs, and I... what do you think? Sounds kind of lame for the name of a technique... ah I'll worry about it later."
"Feed" That single word left her mouth as the rats around the area all began to charge at Imthefakekalib. The winds continued to pick up as the crows all began to fly away in a hurry. through the darkness of the light a cyclone had begun to form from the tip of the staff going straight into the sky. "There is no need for you to die here. Simply surrender and swear to no longer interfere with me. I only seek The Mother of Death." Whether it was intentional or not she had spoken in that ancient tongue once more causing the headaches to resurface even if only momentarily.
"Sorry sweetheart. No can do. My pride wouldn't let me even if I wanted to." Finally freeing himself from the claws, he sacrifices rwo clones to their grasp. The remaining two would begin firing needles at the rats using their left wrist, and whipping at them with the horns of the gauntlet. The main Kalib however would walk towards Radja with his arms at his sides. "You might sound like a lunatic, but I don't have enough information to properly make that judgement call. I don't know your goal yet. You want to find her, but why?" He stands before her as the cyclone begins to pick up, and the headache did little to deter him from acting. "I can tell you right now, that you won't be able to kill me. That isn't a challenge, but a free piece of information. I won't surrender, but I'm done fighting until I get some answers. He flashes a cocky grin and laughs to himself. "The ball is in your court. Don't waste it, 'kay?"
She looks up at the man as all emotion seemed to drain. The frigid cold of winter had begun to bite into your skin even deeper than before. As if her eyes held all of worlds suffering in them and tried to infect you with its anguish. "Their seems to be a misunderstanding" This time she spoke in her ancient tongue but this time was different. Before it was a mere headache but now it was as if something had begun to wrap bob wire around you very soul. Your body became heavy as if it wanted to kneel. "I was not trying to kill you but to pacify you." You sense something very wrong. Something that wasn't there before. Something that changed in this instance "What I want you have no knowledge of. That became painfully clear when I glimpsed into your memories" she says as she glances at the one dead rat in the distance that bit you and continues "and to make matters worse you continue to interfere." Each word shaking you to your core. What you felt now was the first time she showed killing intent.
Brought to the ground by the overwhelming headache, he had no options left to him as the clones turn to smoke. However, her words were truly infuriating. "Heh... so you killed others but chose to pacify me? And not only that, but you played around inside my memory? That wasn't a bright move." He claws at the ground in a struggle to stand back up, and slowly but surely, he does. His everything was fighting back against the influence on his body. He rose to meet her gaze once more and grinned. The shaking inside of him made him grin wider. "Despair is my own domain. I won't be succumbing any of your dark tricks like that. And yeah, I'm going to interfere. You killed people right in front of me, so of course, I'll keep standing in your way." He winced slightly at the pressure she was exerting and steps back. "But I'll leave for now. You win this time. I hope you achieve your goal before I find you once more. But for now Radja, ciao!" Leaping back and running towards the fog bank, Kalib leaves the scene. And the fog clears shortly thereafter. OOC: Sorry to bail here, waaaaay past my bedtime. Definitely really cool though! I'm glad I could participate if only for a bit.
OOC: thanks and no problem. I'll probably continue it sometime tonight and finish this part so i can start working on the next part. Glad you enjoyed. Maybe more people will join by then :)
Radja simply stares at the man as he retreats. Not giving any effort to attack him. He was no longer interfering which is exactly what she wanted. The winds stopped forming and the crows began to return. She would continue her search for as long as the night would allow her. Hopefully no one else would get in her way. The rats once again ran forward spreading through out the area while mysteriously multiplying as they went in search of any other people. Someone had to have the memories she was searching for.
She had been out on nights like this before, though usually not alone, a young, blonde girl takes a deep breath as she continues around the streets. She doesn't know what makes her so uncomfortable this time, but, as a small group of rats pass by her, the girl takes a quick step back and can't help but to shout Ah!! W.. Why are there so many now?
A dragon flied into the area, she stared at the woman a few metters away, it was dangerous to get closer to an unknown being. Alright... whay kind of human are you? Because I've seen cat-humans, iron-humans, tree humans... She focused a few moments on the woman, trying see something that could help her to know what to do or say. For now, the Kushala just sat down to be more friendly and not scare her. Well, why are you here? Are you lost?
Radja took notice of Rasa first and as the girl began to panic one of the rats bit into her ankle. It wasn't a deep bite but more of a nibble however, just like the ones before she could feel a sickening darkness creep into her mind as if searching for something before receding. Soon after she noticed the flying dragon overhead and even heard it speak. Showing a bit of interest she spoke in her ancient tongue. And like before, as if the brain was being forced to translate it a slight headache came over any who heard it. "I did not expect to see a servant of Sorbek. Do you know where I may find the mother of Death?"
OOC: I presume it's a bit late to appear, but if you don't mind I shall join.
The Kushala closed his left eye and stared at the woman with the right one, she was not used to headaches, but is something she can resist. When she ended the Kushala's face turned a bit more serious. Sorbek? Who is Sorbek? I don't know anything about that "Sorbek" and that "mother of death". The Kushala shaked his head trying to clean her mind a little, probably she thinks he is someone else... or something. My apologies, human, but I think you mistaked me with someone or... something, is the first time I hear that names.
The creeping would find her mind to be surprisingly empty, with only about a month's worth of information. The blonde girl holds her head, feeling a little sick. It becomes much harder to focus for a moment, before the darkness passes "W... What was that?" she vaguely remembers seeing the Kushala before, when she first woke up, but even that's getting a little fuzzy "S... Sorry, who are you looking for? That... Is Death a nickname or something? I don't think concepts have parents."
OOC: no prob, anyone can join at any time. probably should read a little above to get an idea of whats going on anyways :P
A large robot walks through the city, treading lightly so as to not smash the ground below his feet. He'd easily be taller than a good number of the buildings, and as his large single eye catches sight of the dragon he can't help but be curious... An organic with a form like a Predacon alt-mode? He'd walk up toward the strange being, and eye it curiously. An absent glance toward the human being the only acknowledgment he gives her. "Curious, I have never seen a lifeform such as yourself before. I am Shockwave, Cybertronian. Might I inquire as to what exactly you are? That form recalls beasts of my native world, and yet you are clearly no machine unlike them." Or is it? A quick run through with his scanners would reveal that... Yes, organic lifeform of some kind. But his memory banks. Hmm, something else is around as well? This one, his scanners show some sort of energy or another? Clearly not the average human by any means. "And hmm, this world is full of strange things is it not? I must admit, as a scientist, I am both annoyed and intrigued with the things I have encountered." And then there's those rats, for now, Shockwave pays them little mind. Something is off given they haven't ran away from him yet, but they seem to be no real threat.
Tilting her head in confusion she replies to the dragon "I thought Sorbek was the only god that controlled flying lizards but it seems i was mistaken. Still....." She glanced around her to the rats that were unable to get to the dragon. She then slightly bent down before she jumped up into the air at a speed impossible for any human. She appeared before the dragon with her left hand held out and the golden tattoo of an ankh shining on her palm. "I will need to take a look at your memories."
The Kushala didn't moved... something told her she was not going to harm her, so... Alright...? If you want to take a look into my memories I don't mind, but be carefull there are a lot of bloody memories from my hunts and from my life as well, I'm a wild dragon after all. Does that mean you are going to see even when I was an offspring? I don't really mind, but usually humans say offspringa are cute. The Kushala kept flying, she doesn't care about the rats since she can always eat them. She patienlty waited while Radja's hand was getting closer.
After the hand came into contact with the dragon he could feel something like dark tendrils reaching into his mind. His own memories flashed the deeper the darkness went. But soon it settled on a single memory. A memory he himself probably paid no heed to in the past. Within it was a battlefield from over a thousand years ago. in the center of that battlefield was a girl with long snow white hair wearing no armor. A girl wearing a pure white one piece dress of silk an a sword that seemed to large for her to carry in her hands. Everything around the girl died. Even the plants. The darkness receded as Radga landed on the ground. "The memory is too old to use as reference." She then turned her head to shockwave as it walked towards the dragon. Thinking it was another human weapon here to kill her she put her hand out to the large bot as energy began to charge.
Oh dear, seems as if this human wishes to fight? He'd raise up his gun arm and begin charging his own purple inside of the barrel. "I was not intending to engage in combat human, but I am not one to back down from a fight either. Stand down and I shall simply leave you be, otherwise, I will show you exactly how deadly Cybertroian weaponry is." For now he'd simply stand with his single eye watching the human closely, cannon preparing to fire at a moment's notice. And yet... Energon supplies are not overly high as of now, best to save his power for when it's truly needed. It is only logical, to attempt negotiations in this case. "I shall add this organic... If you are thinking I am some weapon sent by human enemies you can rest easy. I am Shockwave, and I have nothing to do with such lifeforms."
the Kushala also landed to the ground, she was completelly confused now, specially because she doesn't remembered that until a moment ago. Wait! Wait a moment! What was that!? Is that really a memory!? The Kushala was stunned, she didn't noticed the woman was charging energy, the Kushala was staring at the ground, the Kushala was tryng to remember what happened that day... could it be... Could be that why I can talk human language?
She lowers her hand as she stares at the large bot. She didn't know what to make of it but if it wasn't a threat then she wouldn't waste her time on it. She was running out of time after all. Her gaze ran over the dragon again. She had come into contact with the mother of death but it had been more than a thousand year since the present and even then the memories were fuzzy. She found a bit of information that was of no use to her. She would ignore all things around her and continue her search as she collects information from the memories of each person the rats bit.
The Kushala took a moment to calm herself, she was still thinking about what she has seen... I don't know what is going on here... for now I'll return to my home, well... farewell little... human? The Kushala began to fly to the sky, she was feeling a bit melancholic, what was that memory? Is she older than she thinks? There is no point on thinking about it now. The Kushala flew into a cloud and she disappeared. OOC: I have to leave, good bye.
Shockwave's cannon drops down, the energy dying as he nods at the woman. "Very well, do not interfere with my work and I shall offer the same. It is only logical to avoid wasting resources." Pointless engagement avoided, Shockwave would turn back to the dragon once again... Why it can speak human language. Hmmp, understanding them is all too simple really, he'd not call that a feat of any sort. "As for you, yet again I inquire as to your nature Predacon-like organic. I have never seen such a being as yourself before... Of course, there seem to be many things I have not seen roaming around this place. In fact, I was wondering if any of you have a clue as to the nature of this city." Seemingly impossible to leave insofar he can tell, and entirely too large for what it should be... Not to mention the lack of any of his allies, though rumors abound of what he suspects to be Dinobot activity. In short, this "Tokyo" is a confusing mess. And the organic Predacon left, wonderful. "Well, seems as if I will have to research that being later then. I am however quite curious as to what device you used to charge up that energy human."
As Radja turned to the automaton she couldn't help be confused by it. Was there a creature inside that was speaking? Would it have knowledge of what she was searching for? Would her power work on it? She walked up to it and just like the dragon placed her hand on it. As if a foreign surge of energy washed through his circuitry she read through his past. His body did not take this power well as it tried to reject the power. A ruined world and a war of near extinction washed through his mind. An old memory in his processes but in the end it all ended and as he came back to his senses the girl had already walked past him ignoring his existence. He didn't have the memories she was looking for either.
Digging through his database? No... More so digging through his Spark. Interesting, and arguably dangerous enough to kill for. Despite the memory of a dying world, he'd sound just as cold and emotionless as always. "I see, I do not recommend searching through my Spark again without permission. You have an interesting power organic, see to it that the wrong people do not discover that. I shall take my leave of this place." The Decepticon folds inward, quickly taking on the shape of an alien tank, two treads at the back and his robot form's feet at front. With that, he'd simply drive away at a high speed and ponder what exactly this human is...
As time passed the sun had finally begun to shine over the horizon. The light washed over the darkness of the night and as it came into contact with the rats and crows they turned to dust in the wind. She looked at the rising sun and cursed under her breath. She had run out of time. With nothing left for her here and no longer any means to search a creature reached up from her shadow more than two stories tall and picked her up. Cradling her in its arms it sunk down into the shadow as if it was water and soon disappeared. A few hours later news of this incident would be released. That 793 people had all lost consciousness but none were in danger of dying. No news would be released to the public that there were 43 casualties from the JSDF. As Radja walked into a large room with stained glass on the wall there were 13 other people standing around. At the center of the room was a luxurious bed with the curtains drawn back. Next to the bed was a woman with long black hair that fell down to her knees. She was reading a picture book to another younger girl who laid in the bed kicking her legs back and forth. Radja knelt down to the girl and spoke in her ancient tongue like always. "I did not find any information on the Mother of Death." The others in the room grimaced at the slight headache. The woman reading the picture book and the girl she was reading to were the only ones not effected. "It's fine. Besides, we've gained information on the location of the Father of Lies. I'm not in any rush to get the Mother of Death. From here on out things will be getting busy." The girl on the bed said with a smile. The final countdown had now begun.
