Aren't the protags in persona 2 silent just like the others though? How can any be better from the next if none of them ever talk except for a few choices you get to make?

In EP Tatsuya talks and Maya is silent, in IS Tatsuya is silent and Maya talks. They have games where they're not silent

Persona 1 is the longest game in the series, still good though. PSX soundtrack is better than the PSP soundtrack though.

Innocent Sin isn't grindy at all, I played literally the entire game except bosses on autobattle that's how piss easy it is

Playing P2 is so rewarding. You get to hear beautiful lines such as, "It's Whoop-A** Time!", and "Whoop-A** Completed!".
