Introducing: Solver of All Formulas
All things have an inevitable ending. Even Death
The sky was filled with dark clouds that seemed as if they wanted to choke out the light. Small pillars of light crept through the crevasses as if to illuminate the carnage of what lay below. On the ground were numerous corpse. Bodies piled one after the other as if the site of a battle of decimation. A war where neither side would give up until the last man. The ground was soaked with blood and the air filled with the stench of rusting iron. In the middle of this field of the departed was a hill with a pillar of light shining down on it. In that pillar, atop the hill, was a single girl with snow white skin and long snow white hair. She wore a white, one piece dress which was soaked in red near the bottom. In her hand was a large unwieldy sword with blood dripping from its blade that seemed far to big for her hands. Her crimson red eyes staring at the severed head of her would be master. "Ye art not worthy of mine self. Thus thine punishment hath been delivered." she spoke as a single tear rolled down her face In a park in town this same girl had opened her eyes while leaning against a tree. She had fallen asleep and like in her dream she had a single tear rolling down her face. No, this was not a dream. It was a memory from a time long passed. She looked around and noticed that the tree had died and began to rot as well as the grass in her immediate. Her power seemed to leak out a little as she slept. She looked at the sky knowing that such peaceful days would not last forever. For now she would enjoy things as they are.
With school out, one young, blue-haired schoolgirl would find the time to explore a little fairly frequently, after all, not too much else for them to busy themselves with. Leaving her bag behind, all the girl brings is her clothes, and a silver ring worn on the middle finger of her left hand, a blue, crescent-moon shaped gem within. Soon enough, she catches sight of the other girl, or more notably the dead tree... Isn't it Summer? Way too early for that. She walks up to the other girl, eyes on the tree You've been here for a bit right? How long's the tree been.... You know. Doesn't really smell so good. Think there's some kinda blight goin' around? Heard that happens every now and then
With also no school, a 6th grader would patrol the streets for "reasons". he would notice the two but hide behind a park bench. he would have with him a golden desert eagle(silenced), a special modified pistol and a human skull, which would be hidden in a satchel
Alice glances at the boy then turns her head to the blue hair girl. "I hath no clue. Tis rotted wilst I slumbered it seems." she says before smiling "Tis a while since our last meeting." she said remembering meeting the girl in the subway a while ago. "Would'st thee indulge mine curiosity?" she asked not paying any attention to the boy
(edited by Origin_Alice)
crap. I got spotted "fine. I'll come out" the boy walks towards the group
Sayaka sighs and closes her eyes, this is that girl who asked about her magic or whatever in the subway station. Usually Sayaka tries to keep everything a secret, but there doesn't seem to be much of a point in that anymore. So, after thinking for a moment You talk kinda funny, but sure, I guess. Not like I've got anything else important to do. Whadda ya need?
the boy would cast a black, lightless, heatless fire across himself and sink into Sayaka's shadow, that is unless someone hit him
Alice looks to the boy and gives him a small smile as her eyes change to an energy like blue with a green magic circle in it. They then quickly returned to normal as she began to talk to Sayaka. "Tis true mine vocabulary is dated but it hath not matter. It is thine magic I"m curious of. I understand its structure and conditions of activation yet not its purpose. Did thee create it merely for combat?" she asked before continuing the talk by asking the boy a question as well "And thee does not appear a normal human either. You both are quiet the curios sort."
From sayaka's shadow, a voice speaks"Oh, me? I just shut myself up so i wouldn't do something dumb, and yeah, I'm a necromancer" He raises a skeleton to prove that point
Sayaka sighs, yeah, of course its something like that, the girl doesn't fully understand it herself, but there's not exactly a point in keeping her past a secret Its not like I made this sorta thing or anyways. Its more like.... I guess I was drafted? Sayaka leans back, looking up at the sky with both hands behind her head as she thinks of the best way to phrase it Back home magic's the stuff of fairy tales and movies. To most people anyways. I was approached by a thing called Kyubey, who offered to grant me a wish in exchange for using this power to fight monsters called Witches. There wasn't much of anyone else around, so I accepted. Better for me to have to do it than any of my friends. Guess that didn't really work out though Sayaka closes her eyes, probably best not to linger on thoughts like that, all things considered. There's not much she can do about being separated
The boy commands his skeleton to patrol the general area for enemies the lad would ask Sayaka: "what kind of magic? lazers and fireballs or rituals"
(edited by Alex_Liang)
"A necromancer. Mine previous master was a Necromancer. Tis a magic I thought extinct. To think it would continue to exist even in the current age. Truly interesting." she said with a surprised expression before hearing what Sayaka said. She looked Sayaka in the eyes before she sighed. "Tis cursed then? I hath thought that little mongrel dead but I was wrong. Tis a bit frustrating really. Then...hath these witches perished?" she asked to confirm her own ideas
"well this night I was going to the Morgue for fresh corpses," the boy responds "and how do you know each other?" as he says this, the skeleton would tap sayaka in alarm. something was coming
Sayaka immediately looks away, rather not make eye contact right now, otherwise they'd be more likely to notice the tears starting to show. The girl breathes out a frustrated sigh No, I still find them every now and then. But its not like I'm the only one who can handle it or anything. Doesn't seem like there's much of a point anymore when anyone else can do the same thing but better. That and the fact I'm stuck so far away from home so its not like I'm helping much of anyone out. Sayaka shakes her head, taking a deep breath to calm herself before finishing Kyubey probably just found another girl to do it by now. Always talked like he wanted what's best but I get the feeling he didn't particularly care who ended up doing it.
"We met in a cave with a strange metal construct that ate people then released them somewhere differently called a 'Train Station" she said to the boy with a bit of excitement before looking back to the blue haired girl "Knowing that mongrel thine assumptions hold truth. Though I do not understand you. I witnessed thine match and was quiet pleased with what I witnessed. Ye hath great potential if thy just apply thine self." Alice wasn't exaggerating. She earnestly thought the girl had potential but she seemed to be so self-depreciating that her potential was going to waste. She sighed before looking out into the sky and continuing "I hath watched mine current master as he struggled and lost, fought and lost, spat blood and lost. He who hath lost everything because of his weakness. He blamed himself for those he could not save for his hands could not hold anything." she said as a gentle breeze blew through the park and she returned her gaze to the blue haired girl "Death is inevitable. Tis visits upon all things whether rich or poor, young or old. Those left behind art not to be blamed but are the proof they existed. Humans are such creatures. Thee must simply accept the fact thy art weak so that thy may become strong instead of cursing it."
After hearing such a thing the boy would ask "Do you still have part of your master and when did he die? I think I could bring him back."
Yeah yeah, definitely haven't heard that before. With a sarcastic remark Sayaka sighs and shakes her head, its sort of like the speech she got from Kazuya.... Whatever happened to him. Maybe he got to go home like he wanted. Some people have all the luck. That was everything, I don't get stronger, there's no big secret application or whatever. That's it. And I was practically embarrassed in the first round. Not exactly a shining moment. Sayaka looks back up to the sky.... When did death enter the picture? Its something she tries not to think about much, with everything that's happened. How much exactly does this Alice girl know? After thinking for a moment, Sayaka simply sighs, not coming up with much else to say
Alice laughed at the boy as she replied to him. "Mine old master hath passed over two thousand years by mine own hands. I'd rather not gaze upon his visage again if possible and mine current master is still alive." As she looked at Sayaka with a slight chuckle she slowly stood up from the dead tree trunk and began stretching. "Ye hath no reason to believe me. Death tis a familiar friend to me. Embarrassment is created through the acknowledgment that one could do better but didn't. Thy understands that and know that thee must be better. Humans have the ability to approve. That is something even a god is unable to accomplish."
That's... Not quite how life works at times. Sayaka sighs and shakes her head, she's already tried rethinking everything, there's no real training to do, especially considering she's one of maybe two Magical Girls around. And then there's what she was told from the start Magical Girls only have so much potential. Was told from the start I was pretty close to as weak as allowed, and even the best are bound to find something stronger than them some day... And that's it. Kinda sucks, but there's really no use complaining about it. Sayaka gives Alice an almost sarcastic sideways grin as she starts to walk away Just like you said, sometimes we just have to accept we're weak. There's only so much one person can do
Alice looks at Sayaka as she walks away with a grin. Maybe it was the fact that Sayaka hadn't even realized that her power had basically been lock by Kyubei himself to prevent himself from being targeted. That the magical girls were successful artificial Magic that held the same potential as a normal magi. What Sayaka doesn't realize is that its not power that's needed when it comes to magic but knowledge. And her knowledge was woefully close to zero. Well, she had given the girl a couple hints. Existing since before the multiverse was even a thought has given her a vast amount knowledge. Whether Sayaka became stronger is of course up to her and whether she lives or dies is really no concern to Alice after all yet she couldn't hide her apparent interest in this magical girl. A girl that had the potential to become an existence similar to god. A power they would all need one day. Almost reminded her of the child who became a dragon. Well, either way the day was enjoyable and she got to meet that girl again. She counted that as a win.
After she finished stretching she looked around. "Well. Afore thine departure, can ye assist me with a problems first?" Looking around you'd notice that there weren't any people in the area. Even the nearby streets were silent and the birds that were chirping before had all but become mute. An eerie silence pervaded the area. "T'would seem we hath been severed from the outside world and am thus trapped within a bounded field. We'll soon be attacked as well." she said with a light smile while patting the grass off her clothes.
as alex was ready for a fight he said "let them come. I shall take their souls."
A giggle escaped her lips as she began to float in the air. "Then I shall leave thee to it. I shan't interfere for mine own power would bring undue harm to our surroundings. I hope thee understands." The ground trembled a little as what looked like a group of clay dolls marched towards them. A little farther away were large moving boulders with stone limbs. Obviously golems in the eyes of any with knowledge of magic or even video games. "Thee should pay heed to the sky above." she warned as she floated to a safe distance content with watching how this would play out. A large boulder could be seen in the sky flying towards them as the clay dolls began to pick up pace.
Alex would then dispell his current skeleton and summon a new one, this time with biker gear and a metal pipe "darry, stay here" would be his orders to the skeleton and he would shoot the mod. pistol at the dolls and the bullets would emanate some deathly half-light
The boulder would land nearby digging up the ground along with it as it stood up and swung its large arms at Alex. The clay dolls hit with the bullets would fall down and try to clumsily stand back up. In the distance to the north east more dolls could be seen rushing over with larger golems at their heels. "Quantity over Quality huh...." Alice would comment as she saw the miniature army rushing over.
alex would counter with an army of his own. calling upon his master, he would yell"persona!" and a shadowy form of a lich would stand beside him and he wouls summon a ferocious horde of minotaurs to attack the clay army with necromantic axes
gtg lets continue tom.
As his army had begun to crush the dolls with little effort the golems were the only problem as their hard bodies and great power made them impervious to many of the minotaurs attacks as well as made them a great threat. "The source is on the street to the North East." she said as she began to slowly float a bit higher as she saw the minotaurs attacking She was a bit surprised he could summon such things and in such a large volume. Even more curious was the existence of his persona. She could tell he drew strength from it but it was strange simply because he and the persona were one and the same being. Taking her attention away from the battle as if it didn't concern her she saw the silhouette of the one most likely responsible. "Behind that building" she pointed
OOC: kk, good night :)
though he heard this, alex was busy dealing with the golems. his persona didn't help either as it put him into a less than 3/4 sane state. he would be yelleng things like "Die!" and would cackle wildly at each golem he would kill, either with a magic beam or axes made from his own blood. after slaying the golems, in order to stay sane, he would switch back to his original persona, 6
After all the golems and dolls were decimated Alice looked at Alex a bit impressed. It was clear the persona affected him both magically and mentally but this didn't concern her for as long as he did not become an enemy. She floated down to him looking him in the eye with a smirk. "Thee is different from mine old master. Better in mine opinion. However..." she said as she looked around. Though they had been destroyed they slowly began to repair themselves and to the northeast more were coming. She began to wonder if the boy would last long enough or if she would have to step in. She hoped she wouldn't need to since she would be putting Alex at risk as well.
When Alex switched, he would put on mirrored sunglasses and would crack open a mischievous grin. He would also re-absorb the blood axes and would pull out the golden pistol that, when fired would have ludicrous force and a microphone "Welcome folks, to a night of spectacle! A night of action shall surely occur! It shall be me vs. these clay monstrosities!" As he speaks that, a mirrored version of himself would appear and would mimick his actions and his bullet
this persona is based on me irl He would also walk towards the source (that first persona would be the person who taught Alex necromancy, being a lich&all)
Alex mowed down the resistance as he made his way to the northeast. Upon arrival he saw a scrawny man walking on a cane. The man eyed Alex with a bit of surprise. "I knew there was an unexpected guest but I didn't think it would be another Magi. One that knows Necromancy as well. A big miscalculation on my part." He said as he gave a big sigh and then looked towards the snow white haired girl that floated above Alex "Listen kid. I don't want any trouble with you. My target is that girl. If you can just stand aside then we won't have to fight. I can even release you from this bounded field." he said as as his gaze moved back to the boy with a serious expression "So I was thine target after all. We hath not met so what is the origin of thine grudge?" she said with confusion "SILENCE!" he yelled as he began to shake in anger and continued "I know what you are! Who you are! Your death will do nothing short than save humanity!" Alice became silent with an expression of understanding as she looked towards Alex to wait for his reply. "I will ask again. Please do not interfere" he said as he looked back to Alex
Sorry to interrupt, but I just HAD to >Is based on me IRL >Only description is "is a lich"
shit. what I meant was that he persona, 6 would represent myself in some way, NOT the lich
"...And why is she a danger to humanity?" he would ask the old man "and you! you have some 'splaining to do!"
Alice simply floated there without saying anything. Waiting for the man to fill in the blanks. "If you are a necromancer then the name 'Solver of All Formula should ring a bell. Death to us is a natural thing however that girl is different. Her very existence is what supports the very concept of death in our world. No not just our world but every world in the multiverse. It is because she exists that death and decay exist." he said before coughing a little and continuing "If she dies then death, illness, disease, and decay will forever disappear from the multiverse. Humanity would no longer fear death and will become immortal. Is this not the best way to save humanity" he said with his empty hand out to Alex. Alice did not refute this. She simply floated there observing how this would all unfold. What would be Alex's choice.
Sorry for taking so long to reply but was doing this while in the middle of work. This has my full attention now though. :)
"no, it ain't, you pro-life bastard!"(disclaimer) I am not against the march for life. "Death is a very important part of life, in fact it is what drives the cycle!" he would shoot the old man
A spike of earth would shoot up from the ground and block the bullet. Alice would begin to laugh, holding her stomach as she seems to role around in the air. "You have made a grave mistake. I shouldn't have expected more from a necromancer." He taps his cane on the ground and all the dolls and golems stop moving. They then turn and charge into one another until two large piles of rock are left. Afterwards they would begin to shrink as they condensed. He then brought his cane up and tapped the pile. As if falling off like loose dirt what was revealed were two crystaline constructs in human shape. "Even a decrepit corpse can't destroy diamond" he said as the two charged at him with incredible speed wanting to peirce him with their spear like arms
shit. two diamond constructs. I can't kill them, but I can kill their master, but no, I'd go insane!eh it i'l be fine alex would switch back to his earlier persona (the lich) and would raise another minotaur to take the hit. he would then clamber up the minotaur, jump off of it, then pull out the skull, point that at the old man and yell "Obliterate!" That spell would obliterate the old man's soul or at least deal massive amounts of damage
Just as the spell is about to hit the man taps the ground and is then covered by a dome of earth. The spells tears away the earth a collides with a barrier on the inner part that shatters and causes the man to fly back a couple feet. He slowly gets up with heavy breathing as he spits out a mouthful of blood. The twin diamonds don't take long incapacitating the monotaur before turning their attention back to alex. One would charge while the other waits.
if this were a karate movie, i'd judo throw him, but I could do something with this (alex was between the old man and the diamonds, since he jumped) he would switch out of both personas and would summon some skeletons, one with a black skull. to the black one he would yell "jump formation!" and the skeletons would throw him up, forcing the diamond to go foward, crashing into the earthen barrier.
The remaining diamond rushed towards alex with full intent to kill. The one that crashed into the earthen barrier hit the man as the barrier collapsed. It quickly returned to its feet and tried to charge but then fell apart. The man had begun to reach his limit. "Do you not understand what you are doing! Do you not have someone precious?! Killing her is the answer!"
"no. death shall take them too, as will me, as will you. and besides, immortality is overrated" he would then yell "Titan formation!" and the other skeletons would fall apart, bones being absorbed by the black one, some breaking, forming sharp claws, eventually creating a bone golem. he would shoot the old man in the head with his two pistols (golden was the one with the knock back, weird bullets was a necromancer specialty weapon) and the golem would (try) to pick up and throw the last diamond
The man would once again tap his cane on the ground for an eearthen barrier but fail. The bullets would hit him and cause him to fly back, slamming into the ground and rolling over a couple times before he lay flat on his back. The diamond golem would slam full force into the bone golem and shatter it only for it to fall apart soon after. Alice would float down to the ground and land next to the man. "Death is not evil. It also plays its role in the grand scheme of things." She said the man quickly sat up while pulling on the handle of his cane revealing a hidden blade. The blade stabbed through Alice and protruded from her back. "Hath thee found satisfaction?" She asked unmoving as the blade rusted and crumbled away. "All of this....and I can't even save one person" the man said as he began to sob, tears streaming down his face. Alice turned to Alex with a serious expression. "Thine battle is won. Wouldst thee taketh of his life or spare him. Tis thine decision."
he would reraise the bone golem and would tell it to pick up the diamond fragments. he would shoot the old man in the head, ending him
(edited by Alex_Liang)
After a few moments sound began to flood the area as they found themself back in the park at the rotted tree. The man lay on the ground dead and the passerby were sure to notice soon. Alice simply stared at the corpse and then begin to stretch again. "Mine true name. Thy wouldst keep silent about it?" She said as her gaze moved to him
"I shall. I swear on death herself. you are kind of the reason necromancy is a thing. My name is Alex" he would put away his weapons and would kneel in front of alice
Alice would smile as she stands in front of him. She put her hand out to him. "Tis a pleasure. Mine current name is Alice. I currently serve as a familiar. Tis hoping for a fruitful relationship." A giggle escapes her lips.
"and a fruitful relationship thou shall have..." Alex was somewhat confused by those words, but took her hand and shook it.
soo persona now?
She is something similar but still completely independent. Currently has a pact with someone right now. "Thy needn't worry of the details. Until the day mine current master passes I shall continue to exist in this world." She began to float again as she yawned. People had begun to gather around the strange rotted tree. "I shall depart for now. I shant be involved in the trouble that will soon ensue." She said as she floated away from the gathering crowd. Someone could already be seen calling for the police after coming across the body.
at the notice of the police, alex would send the bone golem away and would use his magic to fake his own death
and so ends this adventure.
Yep, just took four days lol. She's really important to the plot i have planned for Apocrypha so i wanted to introduce her.
