Just port them. Make the PS2 originals available on PS4 or whatever if they're not already. There is no valid reason at this point to pour cash and resources into an actual remake.

I would enjoy one to be honest. If they do port them from ps2 to ps4, it’ll still cost money for an old game. Think of all the improvements they could do with a p3 remaster. Sure, it may cost fill price, but it’s a remake, so you could probably get some extra stuff with it, or different story alterations. I know some people aren’t going to like the story alteration idea, but it’s just a possibility

Those dancing games for Persona 3 and 5 are badass. Definitely gonna get them. A remake of Persona 3? No. Persona 1 and 2? Yes. I can't play them at all since my PS3 controllers are pretty screwed over and I'm pretty sure the majority of the fanbase has not played those two. Love P3 but would love to actually experience P1 and P2 (and possibly milk them too???).

Persona 2 would benefit most from a remake since at least we outside Japan don't have both parts of it available, at least not two versions from the same era We basically only got IS on PSP and EP on PSX And them PSX dubs are quite something

I think that there were a lot of problems with the original P3 that could be fixed with a remake, plus we would get a remake of the old blue artstyle.

Yes, you could only control the protagonist. This isn't really much of an issue though. A lot of people explain, sure, but the A.I. is not actually that difficult to work with or potentially exploit. Not to mention the game is built around this in mind. This is why people think Portable is so easy. P3 is built around you not being able to control your party, P3P changed this, but did not rebalance anything.
