Persona 4 is the weakest

Before you get mad at me, let me explain. Personally I think P4 is the weakest out of the 3 famous Persona games let's not count Persona 1 and 2 because those games are ok at best.I do think the gameplay is better than P3 but the story and the characters aren't has good like P3 was, not to say they're bad, don't get me wrong, I just think they're weaker than the big boi P3. Also the social links in P4 are really short, some interactions didn't even take 2 minutes to finish. I could go in death of why I think this game is weaker than P3, but now it's your turn. P4 is weak. Change my mind.

I haven't played P3 yet, but P4 was definetely weaker than P5 imo, so I agree for that comparison.

I must say I also agree. P3 the story made it my fav and P5 looks beautiful where Story lacks a bit in my opinion. P4 cast is my least fav although I love some of them, but the others were stronger.

P4 is the most lighthearted out of the Persona games so yeah. Lighthearted isn't a terrible thing. Heck I'd say I forged a closer bond as a player with the P4 cast because it was more lighthearted and more anime than 3 and 5. Also, I gotta knock points off 3 for being maybe being a bit too random and over the top with everything after Shinjiro and Ken. And I gotta knock a lot of points of 5 because the cast honestly is a big shrug and their big plot twist is basically a fresh coat of paint on 4's twist.

At least we didn't have the stupid dialouge options that could screw you over getting the true ending. Anyhow I thought P4 was good but every time I played it I always thought to myself that P3 did things better with its cast, music, and story. P5 and P3 typically compete for my favorite spot. Btw we need P1 and P2 remakes or better ports.

P4 was a jerk with their endings but at least they tried. Unlike 3 and 5 where why even have the bad ending when you have to willingly do the dumb thing to get it?

P4 is a murder mistery, just letting you get the good answer without actually deducing something is like if P3 didn't kill its MC at the end.

Agreed. Still loved 4, but it definitely didn't have the same *umph* as 3 and 5. @PhantomBut!!! I want the game for my birthday so that means it's not trash. No worries, it isn't trash ^-^

I personal couldn't get into P3. I still need to finish P4G on vita, but have a hard time playing it on the handheld device. Maybe, the PSTV is the solution.

It's been a while, so I don't remember exactly, but from what I vaguely remember, the majority of the P4 cast really didn't do all that much. I think Naoto contributed to the case, but that's about it. With P5, Ryuji, Morgana, Makoto, Akechi, and Futaba are constantly relevant to the plot, though Ann, Yusuke, and Haru are unfortunately forgotten.
