Royal Ink
Purple neon lights lit the front of a store located downtown on a main street. These purple lights spelled out Royal Ink. It didn't have the largest number of clientele and never advertised itself so all of its customers were people who were curious or heard it from word of mouth. The store was place where certain woman worked as both a Tattoo artist and painting portraits. 13 would walk outside and lean against the wall. Taking out a cigarette from its box, lighting it, and taking a puff. "Slow day today. Should I close early?" She would contemplate as she blew a puff of smoke into the air
Alex looked at the card. This was the place 33 was talking about. Alex pulled on a mask and entered
33 noticed Alex walk in and walked in after him. She looked at him and remember he was the kid she met a couple weeks back. She would then sit down at a chair and lean back. "Welcome to Royal Ink. You want a tattoo or a portrait?"
"I guess a tattoo. Of this." Alex would show her a drawing of a pentagram with symbols in it "It's for a spell I'm working on."
"Ah" she said with understanding. "So a magical one huh. Permanent or temporary?" she would ask finally looking him in the eyes
"Permanent." Alex returns the look with an I-brought-myself-back-from-the-dead-by-myself look of determination "Left shoulder please."

Chuckling she would grab the paper with the pentagram and walk towards the back. She started putting a needle set together. "Just so you know if I'm putting a working magic circle on you it'll cost extra since I'm using mana conducting ink. Also, what exactly does this magic do. How big do you want it?" She would say taking out a glowing container.

"enough that I can conceal it if I we're wearing a short sleeve shirt and it's for turning myself into an undead and back again." Alex would start to steel himself for what came next
She would finish putting the needle and ink kit together and stare at the magic circle for a few minutes. Afterwards she would hold it in front of Alex while shaking her head. "I don't know much about necromancy but this magic circle is unstable. Its missing runes and some runes are unnecessary. You're even using runes from different runic systems so the synergy is bad. You'd also end up using more mana than necessary. Use this and you'd just shrivel up." She would point at parts in the pentagram that didn't work and begin to slowly explain them for a few seconds before stopping and scratching the back of her head. "Sorry about that. Feel some kind of way at putting a tattoo on someone that could kill them. Means one less client down the road. Do you still want it. Its up to you really."
"I'd still like it, though, and if it worked, I would be dead either way so I would still like it."
Though she meant dead she meant the exploding kind of death but that was something she would keep to herself at least. She would grab the needle and stare at the pentagram for about a minute more to memorize it. Afterwards she'd put the needle near his shoulder. "Don't move okay kid. This'll hurt.....a lot." She would say to him so he would brace himself. Considering the general simplicity of the pentagram it didn't take more than 20 minutes to scribe it onto his body. The tattoo glowed faintly with a red light and a burning sensation could still be felt. "Don't activate it until it stops glowing. It'll take a couple days to fully settle in." she said wiping her brow. "All things considered I'll give you a discount since this is your first time here. 165 dollars."
At the mention of the cost, Alex was rummaging through the bag he always had with him and pulled out a handful of gold coins and sixty dollars using only his right arm, as he learned the true meaning of pain through his left arm "Ouch. Here you go . "
