Apocrypha Part 2A: A Past Best Forgotten
It has been a week since you and your comrades have arrived to the Magic Capital Ark. You spent the first day there being healed and 2 days after with regular check ups. Afterwards you were allowed to stay in a private suite in a hotel for free and questioned about the incident by Floraine for another two days without any questions of your own being answered. It is now a full week since your arrival and you have finally been summoned to the main castle, being escorted by by two men in suits. It doesn't take more than 20 minutes to arrive at your destination. The castle as they so aptly call it reminds you of a large modern building with glass pans on the outside. There were gold embroidery on parts of the building as well as 13 statues outside of whom you have now come to know were the 13 disciples who helped make the Magi Society what it is now. Inside the building seemed like a regular reception area where you were guided to a room in the left wing. In the room Floraine was once again waiting for you and gestured for you to sit. Afterwards she would sit across from your group. "I apologize on all the delays. Things have been busy with making preparations for the summit. If you have anything you wish to ask me then I will do my best to answer." she says with a professional demeanor that didn't match her young appearance.
among the group escorted is a small girl with pink hair wearing a red mask with a pointy nose, going along quietly with a smile looking around with awe and wonder at this new world they stumbled upon! When they reach the room, the girl bows before yelling out an introduction with all their might! Pancake Knight here! At your service! This is a cool place! Reminds me of Pancake Land! Anyhow! I have a question! What's your name Lady! I've already introduced myself!
Alex was content. He wasn't hurt in the reality marble, and he learned somethings while he was here, and, on top of that, he was wearing his "I survived the reality marble" t-shirt. The girl surprised him though and he pulled her down whispering, "Pump the brakes, wilya?"
The man would state at PK... This place is impressive to be sure. But nothing that absurd for him really. Of course, the questions don't sit well, and if a certain Fae had wanted him they'd likely have regret for keeping Harry so long. His musing is cut off by PK however. "Really? We're basically interrogated and that's all you ask?" He'd sigh and walk to a wall, being 6 foot 8 most seats aren't overly comfortable and he simply leans back while looking at the woman. "I'll let them slide, i'm a more forgiving sort than my boss. Harry Dresden by the way, Wizard, Detective. As for questions, who exactly were those people I helped? And why the heck were they hanging around there?"
Pump the brakes? Ah! So you want me to kick the doors! No worries! I excel at dramatic entrances! hearing this PK jumps up towards the door and attempts to kick it in! Using all of his strength to push the door out of the door frame! Hopefully it works and doesn't just leave him with a sore foot! While doing this he yells back to Dresden Hm? Interrogated!? But I am a hero of justice! What would they interrogate me for!
BBH
Raiden internally face palm about his comrades. But played no real mind as he was used to this (for better or worse). He continued to finish drawing the room they were in.
The woman would look at the little girl raise a brow. She would then look through the files on her tablet which seemed more like a rectangle piece of glass"I see, you were found by them and brought here too." she would say to herself before looking back at the girl in question. "I am Floraine Everwood, the personal assistant to his royal highness. It is a pleasure to me you." she said with a small smile before turning her attention to the others in the room. The dragon named Kushala seemed to be in deep thought so she wouldn't interrupt her. She would then turn her attention to Harry after hearing his question. She would have a complicated expression before reaching for a folder on the desk between them. She would then pull out a form and place it on the desk. "I apologize but despite your involvement with this incident that is in particular classified information. If you wish to know more on the matter please sign this confidentiality agreement. Once you sign it you will be unable to talk about specific topics here with those un-involved." After she placed the form onto the desk she would see pancake knight kick the door only to gain a sore foot. She would slowly shake her head before speaking to the young pink haired girl. "This room is a separate space so those outside it cannot hear our conversations. I would appreciate it if you did not cause so much noise"
Alex would start reading a book in Mana refinement, nonchalantly listening to what's happening
BBH
Raiden flip his notebook to another section. "Can I ask something of you, Miss.Everwood?", Raiden said bluntly. "What does this agreement, mean exactly?"
PK jumps back holding his foot and hopping around on the other as he returns to the desk, possibly knocking over other chairs and whatever else there is. Ow ow ow! Nice to meet you too! Ow! That typically works! Anyhow, what are we doing here? I'm kinda confused as to why we are here in the first place! If it's to push back against the forces of evil I shall gladly lend a hand! This hero never rests! PK then turns to the contract and looks at it slightly confused, like the paper is arcane and foreign to him, however, after a second she picks up a pen a lot less enthusiastically and signs in normal text "Pancake Knight" before letting it down and returning to his happy go lucky attitude
Kushala shaked her head and lied down. My apologies, I've been very thoughtfull latelly, there is a lot of new concepts I need to remember, howerer don't worry about me in that point. Kushala looked at the contract with curiosity, is the first time she has to sign something so she was feeling a bit strange. Is just about confidentiallity agreement? I just want to be sure.
Harry would look the contract over carefully, silently checking it with a practiced eye that's clearly done this sort of thing many times before. Even going so far as to use a bit of magic by opening up his Sight to reveal any hidden magic and such upon the paper. Assuming he found nothing beyond what the woman stated, he'd sign it then hand the thing over to the dragon with a nod. "The first rule of contracts, always check the fine print yourself or get someone who's got nothing to gain from you signing to do it. No offense lady, but I deal with Winter Fae, I've learned to always be careful what agreements I make."
The woman would nod to Harry as he signed the contract. Those that did would feel a little light headed as the name they signed would flash but they would feel normal again right after. She would then turn to Raiden. "As I've stated, it is a contract simply to make sure that what is spoken of in this room doesn't leave it. You can speak with others about it who are involved but if you try to speak about it to those not involved the magic in the contract would restrict your speech or movements. I hope you understand that the answers you seek cannot be spoken of lightly." she would say as she slightly bowed to the group.
BBH
Raiden did have no real reason for distrust and Dresden did look it over. Well what's the worst that can happen. Raiden signed at the bottom Raiden Genesis
I have not intentions of talking this with strangers... so... Kushala just used her left front claw to draw a K. I hope that is enough, I'll be carefull to not break this.
After Alex signs the contract she would pick it up and put it back into the folder. She would then set it down onto the sofa she sat on. She would then look to Harry. "To answer your earlier question, the group you helped is called Raven. They are a secret operations group that take direct orders from his highness. The reason they were at that location was because of an operation. Several of our agents investigated the reality marble beforehand and found the locations of the exit portals. We wished to capture Alexei Arnold Hues and gather information from him. The Ravens you encountered were waiting at the location we designated as the emergency exit. They were to wait there in case he tried to escape and capture him but......" She would sigh as she scanned the room. "The operation ended in failure. When the time came to infiltrate his reality marble all of the gates were sealed. After asking you all two days ago we were able to come to the conclusion it was caused by your intervention. We do thank you for escorting agent 47 out of the marble. Despite her passing she managed to give us valuable information we didn't have prior."
So you were going to infiltrate that place? You look like a strong group, and when we left that tunnels we saw a lot of people waitting outside... I think you could have been able to do something. Kushala noticed something strange, could that Alexei be stronger than she thinks? Now that she thinks about it... Please, I would like if you can asnwer me a question, how strong is that Alexei? And... why do you want to capture him? Is because he is against your king?
"Wait, did you say passing? As in she died?"
PK stares blankly at the woman with a confused look on his face before shaking it off and speaking proudly I'm not exactly sure what you just said but from what I can gather you want us to bring this person to justice! That much I can do! Just tell us where to go and where to find him! He can run! But he shall not hide!
He'd raise a hand to his chin, seems as if things have become quite a mess around here... And he can't help but feel as though it's at least in part on him. Of course, he's not about to get into a war without knowing exactly who he's throwing down in the name of. "What exactly are these rebels looking to do, they didn't seem on the up and up from where I was standing. But that hardly means they've some evil fiends or anything... I might be able to lend a hand, but I've gotta think about it long and hard before committing to something like this." Dresden sighs and runs a hand through his hair, looking down at the silver pentacle amulet around his neck for a moment before closing his eyes and simply listening closely for the moment. Getting info on this mess feels like it'll be tough, but he's a detective after all so he'll try.
Floraine would nod to Alex's surprise. "Correct. Agent 47 was confirmed dead July 12th, 2:47 a.m. JST. According to reports you yourselves were there to witness her final moments." She then turned to Kushala after hearing her question. "The fact he has his own reality marble already puts him in the list of the top 20 strongest Magi. To be blunt, the only reason any of you made it out alive is because he underestimated you, a mistake he most likely won't make again. We can confirm he can summon Constellations, each with their own unique abilities but the problem is the scope. Does this ability encompass all of the constellations and if so then that would mean he has access to a literal army. There is also the fact he is working with Jason Alvarez. Something we did not know prior to that night." Turning her attention then to Harry. "If they were just protesters then we wouldn't be taking any action against them. They have the right to feel however they please about the current state of affairs. The problem is they have been devolving to acts of terrorism and are planning to incite a civil war. There haven't been any civilian casualties yet but the only reason for that is because the average Magi can protect themselves. These acts of terrorism have been getting worse however and there have already been some who have been injured. One of the reasons for the current Summit is to find a way to handle these problems before they escalate further. Besides, the main ones who are inciting this are those who fell from grace when his Highness ascended the throne." She would then shake her head to pancake knight's comment. "To be blunt we don't want any of your involvements further in this matter. This rebellion is a concern that must be handled with care. The general public isn't even aware that things have come this far as of yet and we don't want anymore of our operations endangered. Though because we are spread thin I do have a request, it can wait until I answer your questions."
More of their operations endangered? See that wouldn't be an issue if they actually knew what the hell was going on. "If these guys are half bad as you say I expect to end up involved by them regardless of what I want, Jason seemed kinda pissed at me for the whole trying to burn him with lava bit so uh I can't say that I'm expecting to be left alone..." He'd sigh, what kind of madhouse is this place huh? From where he's standing it feels like the whole mess is going to get entirely too large, but oh well that's another day at the office. "I'm all too happy to sit this out in theory, but if I get dragged into it then I'll deal with things my way. As for this request of yours, I'm always looking for work so let's hear it." Of course, there is the matter of 47... Fine one moment, dead the next. With all the crap that's been going on, he'd barely thought of it. But what the hell even killed her? "One thing though, how and why did 47 die? Seemed like she was fine when we left, but then... I can't help feeling like that was something she did, but I can't begin to fathom why."
Kushala looked at Floraine and listened to all the words she said, she atleast knows more things than before and that is a progress, however, she didn't said anything about that memory she saw... Kushala moved her head as signal that she was about to talk. They mentioned a woman called Radja, who is she? I say it because it can be an important detail. For now Kushala will only mention her, probably is not a good idea to drop the fact that she knows a woman that can be a dangerous enemy, first she needs more info about her.
"If you are attacked then I of course expect you to defend yourself at which point you don't have a choice to begin with if things proceed to such a state. As for how 47 died, in retrospect, even if you witnessed it yourself you probably didn't have enough time to process the information with everything that has happened. When you and your group appeared at that location our agents confirmed that the star constellation named Hercules was also present. It targeted you when your back was turned and 47 tried to stop it. Unfortunately, it tore through her defenses and ripped a hole into her stomach with his hand before he was neutralized." She when then turn her attention back to the dragon as she heard the name Radja. "That is not a name I am familiar with but if you say you heard them speak it then it is most likely someone involved. We'll do an investigation on it when we have the personnel. Thank you for sharing that information with us." She would then look at the group as a whole. "As for the request. It is something not exactly linked to the civil war. At the very least we hope its not linked. Also, it is something I have decided would be best if his highness knows nothing about until the request is complete. There is a contact in the human world who has come across something that she would like to receive help in looking into. I would like you to help her with this."
"...okay...''
(edited by Alex_Liang)
BBH
Raiden crossed his legs and ponder for a moment. Human world, huh. "Who is this contact?"
The news of 47 would cause his face to go dark, a frown over it as he grips his staff tighter and mutters a curse under his breath. After a moment he'd let out a sigh and shake his head, glancing over towards Everwood. Speaking in a far quieter more subdued tone after realizing what happened. "I see, well I'll just try and stay away from the mess for now... Can't make any promises in the long run, I've got obligations to uphold even if I'm not fond of em, but hopefully, she won't care about any of this." He'd reach into his coat, pulling a notebook from it and forcing a more focused expression and voice as he also draws a pen out. Preparing to write down any details of the case. "Alright, I'm a detective for hire so I guess I can look into this. Now then, where exactly in the normal world we talking about? And contact info would be helpful, I'm assuming that the details of the case are best gotten from this person we'll be working with rather than you? But if you've got anything, lemme know now and I'll try to put it together." He'd then glance at Raiden, when'd this guy get here anyways? The ''knight'' just kinda stumbled in, but him? Harry's got no clue on him...
Kushala nodded, the best thing she can do is to wait if they discover something. If you discover something willl you tell it to us? I could apreciate it. And... what do we have to do? What is that contract about?
She nodded to Kushala as she assured her they would inform her of any information they found. Afterwards she would swipe a few times on her tablet before the wall behind her had an image of a woman on it. The woman had long brown hair braided into a single braid that was long enough that she had it wrapped around her neck a couple of times like a scarf. Appearance wise she looked to be in her mid thirties although the info provided stated she was in her mid forties. The info also said her name was Anya Melrose and that she was an esper. Most other information was purposely hidden. "The client will be Anya Melrose. She will be filling you in on the details of the assignment. She can be trusted and you can ask her any questions you need upon arrival. You will be meeting her in Leipzig city in Saxony Germany at a hotel named Imperious Velvet. As I said before. This must remain a secret from his highness. We cannot afford him finding out about this during such crucial time right now. You will be paid an advance before you leave and the rest when you are done. Are there any questions?"
"...''
Kushala nodded and stood up, she prepared to leave but not before lowering her heard towards floraine as performing a reverence. Alright human, I'll go right now to meet that Anya inmediately and with the maximun discretion. Now if you excuse me. Kushala went outside and flied away.
BBH
Raiden started to scratch his head. "When do we head out?"
Right then, a job to go into Germany... This sounds like a proper case file all of a sudden. "I'll need some time to gather my tools, and I can't go there by plane. Not normal ones anyway. My magic screws tech up good and proper." He'd then raise a hand to his chin, grinning despite the grim goings on. "Kinda brings me back to my old days actually, a strange case from a mysterious contact... Haven't done this in a few years, but assuming I can get a day to prepare consider it taken."
Floraine would nod to the group. "We would prefer you to leave asap but if you need time to collect your things then so be it. You needn't worry about how you'll get there. We will allow permission to use the royal Teleportal that connects to Ar'Ciel which is located near that area. There will be an exit portal there that should drop you a few miles north of the city. Also, about Jason. Try to be careful, he was once the leader of an underground syndicate that his highness snuffed out nine years ago. Until now we've had no idea where he's been but regardless he must still have a working information network to avoid us for so long. If you have managed to piss him off then be cautious. That is all." The door to the room opened and the two who escorted you earlier were still standing there. They peeked into the room and saw Floraine nod to them. As you walk into the Hallway you would see a man in a suit with short black hair and rose red eyes walking by. Hanging on his shoulder was a girl with long snow white long hair floating next to him. There were five others around him showing him all kinds of paperwork as he walked by. He simply glanced at your group and continued to walk when he noticed Floraine whom bowed as he passed. She would give you two days to prepare for the trip.
Intermission
You have unlocked Bear Pavilion Inn, Library, Park, Main Street, and Main Teleportal Hub This was the original way I was planning to use the between the lines. You would have the time at intermissions to go to the locations listed. You can only go to two locations per day and after that it will count as 24 hours having passed. For those who don't want to wait they just need to post the word 'end' and the story will continue with this group and the other group will be added later through a different route. Enjoy.
Before leaving the city, Kushala went to the main street to walk around, they've already seen a dragon, so probably they will just ignore her, Kushala is curious... When I went to the tunnels the people didn't reacted to me, so they probably had seen another dragon already... wait... nonono, I shouldn't think on that now, for now I'll just walk around to ser how those humans react. Kushala landed in the main street and calmly she began to walk around.
Bump
It has been two days since your questions have been answered. After which you are guided to the same underground location you found yourself in upon your first arrival to Ark. Something you didn't notice before was a room room farther in the back behind a false wall. Once you've walked back there you would seen a flat stone alter. You would stand on the alter as one off the escorts pulls out a blue gem that he crushed with his hand. A blue haze would spill forth from his clutched fist and spill over the alter, activating it and soon the familiar feeling of shifting from one space to another washes over you. Once your vision clears you would feel a chill as you find yourself once again underground, a new set of escorts waiting for you. These escorts would guide you outside where you would see snow falling from the sky. The sky had already begun to darken allowing you to realize you were in a different time zone. The ground had only enough snow for you to feel it crunch underfoot with each step but no matter how much it snowed it never piled up enough to become a hindrance. Like Ark you would see similar crystals floating that lit the walkways. Despite the sun setting the streets were still very busy and people were walking to and from. The escorts would guide you to another location and after going through a short series of teleportals you would arrive at your destination. "Use these at this location when you want to return to this entrance point." one of the female escorts hands you a small red gem "You should appear about three miles from the destination. Go straight down south and you should have no problem. We hope you find success in your investigation." Afterwards a root word is written and after the effects pass you would find yourself in a snowfield north of the city.
"Yay, Snow!"
Kushala didn't expected thw return to that cave, she didn't noticed that wall was a fake one. She now understands how complex are humans builds. After use the portal and reach the snowy place she felt like home for a second, but she was not there to feel like home, so she followed her scorts but at the end of the walk she felt a bit dizzy, she is not used to that portal travelling yet, she felt relieved when they reached their destiny and she got new orders. Understood human, thanks for scorting us. Kushala lowered her head to the scorts as thanking them and then picked up the red gem. Now that we are here we should begin this investigation, let's go humans. Kushala headed to the south as that woman said, however, Kushala was a bit distracted like if she was thinking on something, she was also... determined. "I wonder what she must be doing right now... I hope she is doing fine with that work... I shouldn't think about this... I have things to do... and a woman to find!
BBH
Teleporting always make me feel sick. After Raiden composed himself, he started to straighten up and prepared to yell. "Onwards to the south!" Said Raiden jabbing his cane in the direction of the South.
After finally arriving in the town you would see the streets filled with people. The noise of the busy streets echoing into the moonlit night yet even then you notice a certain divide. Most of the ones walking on the side walk to your left were wearing a black band around their wrist with letters on them. Bands you probably remember hearing about on the news signifying all of those passerby being Espers. These Espers seemed to be keeping to themselves or small groups with other Espers. None of them mingling with the others. After walking around and probably asking for a few directions you end up at a very high class Hotel. Soon after you enter the hotel shakes as you hear a large explosion upstairs that ring on your ears. You can hear people screaming as they panic while those in the lobby seemed to be overwhelmed with confusion. For those who decide to go to the source of the explosion they would find themself on the top floor where the VIP suite is which takes up the entire floor. The door has been blown off its hinges and the inside of the room is a complete burning mess. There is still some fire in parts of the room and everything is burned or broken. In the center of the mess is what appears to be a collection of metal plates that were haphazardly slapped together to make something like a ball or cocoon. A few sparks would run across the surface of the cocoon before finally breaking apart and revealing the woman standing on the inside. The woman being the very person you came to meet, Anya Melrose. She would look to your group with caution and notice Kushala flying right outside the broken wall looking at her. Then turning her attention to the staff that was looking into the room she would give a wry smile. "I think I'll be checking out today. Can you send the bill to the Embassy." You would notice a black band around her wrist but unlike the others you saw with letters hers had a zero on it.
Dresden trails behind the group, lugging a suitcase full of various items he might need for detective and magical work... Of course, upon seeing what kind of mess he's walked into Dresden would step back and begin laughing as he looks at the woman. "THE BUILDING IS ON FIRE, AND IT ISN'T MY FAULT!" For a while he'd keep on chuckling and simply looking at the mess before them... Until drawing his staff and spinning it around with a shout. "WIND AND ICE!" The rune inscribed wood flies through the air as an icy chill rushes into the room, and just as promised a wind which freezes all in its path. Or would with more raw force behind it, as is the spell's focused upon the various fires in the room and would quickly put them out, leaving melted ice and water on the ground in their place. With that, he'd simply lean on the wall and smirk at Anya. "Well, can't say I was expecting to see that. But hey it's a nice change of pace to see someone else burning things down for once!" He'd walk over to her and offer his hand... After placing his suitcase against a wall for the moment of course. "Harry Dresden, and I'm guessing you're Anya Melrose was it? Nice to meet you I'm sure, especially if that fire was your work. I can respect someone who's as good at such things as I am. Anyways, down to work right?"
Kushala flew through the hole in the wall and got closer to Anya, she first lowered her head to perform a reverence and then she talked with lower voice, just to make sure only Anya and the others hear her. Greetings human, I'm Kushala, we've come because we have a investigation to do and we think you can help us. Kushala looked around the room to see it is half-destroyed and then she looked again at Anya while lying down. Sorry for interrupt you, looks like you were having a lot of fun, I also like to destroy things but since some humans got mad because I destroyed the door of a GYM I'm more carefull with their builds, anyways, I would like to know if you could tell us what do we have to do now.
BBH
"Well you certainly know how make an entrance," said Raiden with grin. "The names Raiden Genesis, Foudre Magican Extraordinaire," he says with a bow. Raiden takes notice of her black band. Zero huh, never seen that before... After Raiden shakes her hand he examines the room, making careful note of it in his notebook, while Dresden talked to Anya.
(edited by BBH)
"..." an esper, huh.
Anya would return everyone's greetings before before looking back and sighing at the sorry condition of her luggage. "Let's leave before we're caught up in another assasination attempt." she would say as she gestured for all of you to follow. Descending to the lobby on the first floor she would look at the man trying to organize the panic caused by the explosion. "Do not start up the car I drove here in. Have the police inspect it and bring me another car." The man would look confused at first but then would pick up on her meaning quickly enough as he tried to hide his fear behind a mask of seriousness. Soon after a car was pulled around for you all to take. She would glance at Harry before mumbling to herself just barely loud enough to be heard about hoping the car doesn't explode too. After which you all entered and she began to drive down the street towards the exit. "Wasn't exactly how I planned to meet you all but plans rarely go as you want in this world nowadays. Sure you noticed the high tension in the street. It's been like this the past two days." you would drive past a small crowd holding picket signs and such about putting better leashes on Espers or stricter laws "The mayor was murdered two days ago by an Esper during their awakening. Because of that, Espers have been getting targeted more often. Considering that I arrived the same day it happened there are a lot of people who believe I'm somehow involved. That pretty much explains the burning remains of the room I've been staying in." She would sigh as she slowed down at a red light "From my understanding the Esper was the mayors daughter. Considering the familial relationship of the victim and assailant it's become easier for the public to demonize Espers. Well, in the end she still hasn't been found and that's not why I requested for your help." The car would begin to move again when the light turned green. She would drive up to a the city exit where a checkpoint awaited her with soldiers. A checkpoint that you did not have to go through fro some reason when you arrived. Despite their obvious displeasure to allow you leave they do so and you find yourself on a road headed south east. "What I requested you for was to help me investigate the ruins of an old research facility that was destroyed a little over two decades ago by an acquaintance of mine. It's mostly in ruin and and if I'm wrong, should still be inactive. Problem is I received reports of recent activity in that given area and considering the kind of things that happened there I just want to make sure." As she drove down the road she could see a train in the distance going towards the city. Some of the containers on the train seemed a little over sized and was probably a specialized train car. Beyond that there wasn't anything else of note. "That's strange. Shouldn't be any trains coming in for another three days." She would shake her head before returning her attention to the road and the dragon that was no doubt following "It's going to take a little while longer before we arrive so how about filling me in on exactly how you all know each other. No offence but but when I hear about a wizard, and child necromancer, a dragon, and a teenager it sounds more like the start of a bad joke." a chuckle escaping her lips She didn't seem too opposed to answering questions as she was also the one asking.
"If a fight ensues when we are there, what are we most likely going to fight?" There would be a few wisps of mist as Alex sacrificed most of the contents of his bag (three of six life syringes, extra clothes, magic wands, his pact tome and his teacher's tome)
Kushala flew closer to the car and looked to Anya from outside the car. I met them in the tunnels, we just happeared in the same place and my instinct told me that I could trust them. Before that... I remember seeing that strange men and I followed them from the sky, it is easy for me because I ussually do it in order to hunt my food, anyways, I followed them to the cave. Also, I don't see where is the joke, according to what I know dragons are more common here than in human world, I've also seen more animals that could be scary for humans. Kushala looked ahead for a second to check the way was clear and then looked again at Anya. Before another human gave me a red stone, is important?
BBH
"Ha, if you wanted to hear a bad joke, I should've invited you to my last stand up," Raiden said with grin. "Best funeral ever." "In terms of meeting them, I have only them recently though, it was... weird to say the least." Raiden thought back to that night, It was cool, star lit night gazing at the full moon. Then a group of people landed about 5 yards away from him fell. He walked over to see them. Long story short, they (Raven) wanted to keep the incident away from the public so he had to come with them for questioning. Not like it matter much when you get to meet the KING. The only time he talked to the main group was when they were at the hotel, and those were only one word conversations. Though, he could have get took the money the KING offered and forget everything he witnessed, but something told him there was something that would be going down soon, and he wants to do everything he can to stop it. Because if there was going to be a performance, he would want to have front row seats. Or die trying. "But as the dragon would tell you, these people here are, for better or worse trustworthy." Raiden said while laying back in his seat. Sorry if this was long, I just needed a way to explain why is he here and not in the other parts.
The man would shrug as he walks away from this mess, seems that they'll be dealing with all kinds of fun things for this case. On the good side, he's learned enough to spot the odd assassination attempt by now! Either way, as they load into the car and he overhears Anya mutter about explosions he'd chuckle. "It's not that bad, as long as this car isn't run by an advanced computer or something we should be fine..." He'd then take in the actual important info, making note of anything and everything which seems relevant to the task at hand. Including this Esper crap which went down recently, just in case it comes up. As for the lab, however, he's rather curious what might have gone down there. Or what anyone else might want with it. The train cuts him off, however, and he'd Open his Wizard's Sight while staring at it for a moment. Aiming to see if there's anything obviously magical about it before closing the sight and looking back to Anya, though evading eye contact as usual. "Hmm, and what exactly is the deal in this lab? I'd like to know what we might be walking into before I tear down the doors ya know. Besides, if the place is really empty I guess I might end up doing some detective work. Which has been strangely absent for a while, too much madness to say the least!"
"Honestly....I don't know what to expect. The lab used to run experiments on creating artificial Espers and copying their abilities into other normal people. They almost finished their research too before Void ended them and erased all of the research data. As far as what they specifically did." She would tighten her grip on the steering wheel with a look of pure rage for a seconds "They ran inhumane experiments. Unfortunately I don't want to speak in detail of what those experiments were. She would take a second to take a deep breath and return to a more neutral expression. "When the Embassy was formed, the labs were systematically dismantled leaving only the ones that would change the geography if destroyed. Those were kept under tight surveillance despite the fact the labs were left in a state where they can't even be turned on through normal means." Anya would then hear Kushala's question before using her free left hand to scratch her cheek. "A tunnel huh? Strange place to meet. Honestly this would be my first time meeting a dragon and as far as the Magi society goes I've only been there a few times so my kids could see their father, so I'm not really used to seeing many things like you. At the very least not anything that wasn't trying to kill me" A slight chuckle would escape her lips as she took her attention off the road for only a few seconds to see the necklace the dragon was talking about. "Those are magic runes. Sorry, my knowledge on runes is limited. Hard to put things to memory that you can't use in practice y'know. It would probably be easier having someone back in the Magi Society appraise it." she said turning her attention back to the road. "Honestly worry that husband of mine will run himself into an early grave if he doesn't take better care of himself but what can you do. His job puts him into a lot of danger. Though I guess I can't really talk considering my own line of business." A warm smile showing on her face If their are no more questions then you would arrive at the destination a few hours later. The location would be off road near a small mountainside where you would see something like a valley covered in snow. She would guide you to a small rope ladder and you would follow her down the ladder onto a few man made platforms until you came across an opening in the wall much like a cave covered by ice just big enough for kushala to also fit inside. After a few minutes of walking you would notice the walls begin to smooth out until they were replaced with metal. In front was a broken metal vault door that lay broken on the ground. When you walk through the doors you find yourself in a pretty large room but like the door its filled with broken walls and damaged monitors. Their were five doors within the main room from left to right. Anya would hand you all some walkie talkies. "Use these to stay in contact with each other just in case.
The room was cold to say the least. Ice hung from different parts of the ceiling and the keyboard under the monitors was frozen over. No kind of heat had been in the dump for over two decades, that much was certain. "If there is an obstacle in your way or you want to try to find information on a monitor tell me and I'll run power to it" she said as a little electricity sparked off of her hair. "If you find anything that would suggest tampering of any kind then inform me right away and I'll head there. Try not to cause too much trouble though. I don't know to what extent anything here is operational." she would say as she walked away going through the middle door and leaving you in the large room The room itself had one area to the left with a half broken wall of glass. From the thickness of the wall you could tell it was bullet proof but upon closer inspection you may be able to understand that it could probably handle a single tank shell before breaking. The small room beyond it had a few ashes most likely from having documents burned but the ashes were scatter about and frozen in the ice letting you know it happened a long time ago. Beyond the obvious destruction this place had seen their is not much else of interest here. What door will you be going through and will you go through as a group, pairs, or alone? Think of the doors being left from left to right as 1-5. 3 being the middle.
The man looks over the area before them, the whole place looks like something big went down. A fight that tore it up, even a damn tank shell is laying around in this freaking place. He'd casually take one of the walkie-talkies. Hopefully, it won't die on him when it's needed. "Right then, seems as if it's time to split up. Anything screwy happens get out and get backup, let everyone know. This isn't some Scooby Doo show." With that, Dresden pulls his blasting rod from his coat and places it in his left hand. Holding the staff forward in his right one. Muttering a small spell and causing a light to form atop his staff as he moves forward deeper into the center door. Glancing around curiously and aiming to take in everything that might be useful along the way, not to mention checking all around, even above and below, to make sure he's not getting jumped by anything easily.
Kushala looked around the place, she was feeling great because frozen places are perfect for her, she can use the snow to strenghten her wind attacks, also she is used to ice and low temperatures as well. Don't worry about me, I'm strong and I know how to take care of myself, but I'll be carefull and I'll report anything strange that happens. After saying that, Kushala looked around the room, but she didn't saw anything that could be important, however, her attention turned to the destroyed filles. Before going to another room, are that filles important? We could try to save them because they could have important information.

Raiden nods to Dresden's warning. Raiden says to Daora "If they're anything important on the files let us know." Then turning to the rest of the group he says "Well, if that's it then I bid you all a farewell." Raiden walks to the the fifth door, while taking out a small box, something resembling a CPU box, and started to put mana in it. The area around the box formed a bird. Raiden look at it and smiled This should work. He opens the door, and let the bird in. After a minute there is a small POP and then Raiden turns the handle. If anythung was going to do surprises, it would me. Raiden walked into the room.
Alex immediately went to the window to pick up shards of glass from the window, because who knows if it'll be useful later on. Then, he went through the door Dresden went through with a book that was not his
Harry and Alex would find themselves in a hallway with numerous doors on the sides and broken windows showing you the inside of the rooms. In a nearby room you would notice Anya with a flashlight looking through the file cabinets to see if anything looked like it was tampered with or if any files survived the blaze. She would look back and notice the two but then return to her search. You would see her walk up to one of the few monitors that seemed to be in good control and step onto the power cord. You'd see a few sparks come off her shoe before the computer turned on but there didn't seem to be any data on it. The rooms for the most part seemed to have white boards that were already whipped of any important data. Computers that weren't functioning anymore from a lack of a power source or had a broken screen. The file cabinets for the most part were empty. There was one room that seemed to have files remaining in the cabinets but the files themselves didn't seem to have much relevance to the overall experiments. Towards the end of the hall was a door that led into another room. Will Harry or Alex continue to Investigate these rooms or will they move to the door down the hall. Raiden would find himself in a similar hallway but unlike the one Harry and Alex was in there were no windows. The doors had a small part on them that could be slid open that would remind you of a solitary confinement door with words on them like Sample C497. Some of the doors had been broken off or half open. the insides of the cells were empty save for some old black blotches you might be able to recognize as blood. Another room had a chair in it with leather straps and a small table that had been knocked over. On the ground were old syringes with unknown fluids in them and other tools such as scalpels and even drills. The end of the hallway was yet had a split path that led to straight ahead and the other going left. Kushala would see a few files on the ground that hadn't been burned as of yet but would only have information of those coming and going. It seemed that this place kept records of everything and everyone who came in and out. Some of the files would have words like test sample B243 and such but beyond that there wasn't much information in them.
Alex exhaled and let the ChAoS control his body. It started off by looking at the computers and dismantled the broken ones, taking out their hard drives and putting them down near a computer that would work. Then in a voice like that of different people alternating turns speaking, It (Different It) said, "Could you power this?" Then It opened that computer, trying not to damage anything so he could switch the hard drive out. It lastly took all the metal from the other computers.
B243? What a strange name for a human, I don't understand anything... Uh, I think is better if you take those filles, I don't understand them but maybe you can. Kushala turned away and her attention went to the doors, Kushala looked each door individually and she decided to go to the first door. Is better if we split up to cover everything quickly so I'll go through this door, I'll call you if I need you, later human. Kushala went to the first door, she changed her way to walk and she began to do it more carefully, she was being more quiet and she was ready to fight at any moment, in case she needed it.

Raiden tipped his top hat to cover his eyes. It doesn't take a genius to figure out what happened or what did happen here. Raiden look at the some of the monitors, trying to power them up, but most where broken or had him barely lit up. And from what he did see are reports on people and their conditions. He looked at the leather chair. From just entering he tell what transpired, he started to examine the fluids in the tubes. He made not of the fluids and the tools in his notebook along with the images. Raiden felt his walkie talkie Not yet. He wanted to know for sure what happened here, although the lack of bodies is worrisome. He made way to the left path as it seems more bothersome to come back later.
Harry just keeps on walking, moving past the PC quickly before his magic can decide to blow something up for the hell of it. Instead, he'd keep his staff and rod at the ready, moving into another of the doors on a whim as he reaches out with his "Sixth Sense". Hoping to feel around for any magic that might have been used in this place, though not as accurately as with his Wizard's Sight, it'd simply be a general direction and amount rather than any details.
Anya would look at Harry at first with a question. "Does he usually do that?" she asked but after remembering he was a necromancer she simply shook her head with a never mind and walked over. She picked up the power cord and while holding the metal prongs the computer lit up. "Pretty handy trick" She said to the boy as they looked through the hard drives but each one already had it's information wiped. Not even an operating system on them. They were blank as they should be. Any information related to the experiments should have already been destroyed so this was good news. Harry's sixth sense wouldn't pick up on any magical force beyond the natural elements. There were no signs of any magic being used here recently. A small bookcase collapsed when harry came close enough to it but it did not hit him and simply fell apart. Probably the ice forming between the joints being the only thing holding it together. Most likely the only thing holding most of this place together. Raiden would follow down the branching hallway. It didn't have any doors throughout the corridor like the previous hall did. Instead it would just continue down a curved path until he came across what looked like a cave in. Frozen rubble and hanging wires blocked the path but there was an opening just big enough for a single person to fit through. If Raiden decides to turn back he would end up back at the intersection leaving only one hallway he didn't finish checking or he could go through the small space to see what it was that was on the other side. Kushala would find herself walk down a very large hallway. Big enough for two of her to fit that eventually came to a cross section. The straight path ahead being the only one with a half torn off vault door that lead to another room. The left and right both had similar rooms in the fact they had a large operation table. In the left room was a big machine laying on the floor mostly destroyed by the elements while in the other the machine was above the operational table being held up by nothing but wires and a single pillar of ice. Multiple tools lay on the ground either frozen or beginning to rust. Despite this fact you could smell the faint scent of blood, a testament to just how much blood was shed in these rooms considering there hadn't been any more experiments here in over twenty years. All the computers and monitors in these two rooms had been destroyed much like the others.
With that It started to loot the computers before Alex took back control and went to the next room, casting hand pointed.
The man pulls out his walkie, looking around curiously as he turns the thing on and speaks into it. "No spellwork's been done here recently, so that's one less thing to worry about it seems. Over." With that message said and done he'd keep on moving deeper into the building, pondering if he should chance the sight or not. "No telling if it'd give any worthwhile info, or if the info it could give would be worth the price either... No, not now." Instead he simply shrugs and keeps searching around carefully through normal means, checking around for any signs of recent activity such as displaced dust, things having been turned on. Anything at all which might point out that this place has been in use as of late, as opposed to the wild goose chase this is starting to feel like.

Raiden would try and to widen the gap, but to no avail. After his thirteen try he got the message from Dresden. "Alright good to know. Right now I was at the chamber where the expirements took place. Would not recommend going there. Anya there are some fluids here I'm bring back to get examined. Over." Raiden took a deep breath and made his way into the narrow tunnel.
Kushala went first to the left room, she just looked around for something that could be usefull, but she didn't see anything interesting. Later she went to the right room and looked at the machine, she was not going to touch it since it was old and she doesn't know what does, but it could be good to tell to Anya later. Kushala was relaxed even with the smell of blood in the atmosphere, it was something that was remaining her to be carefull. "I wonder why I'm smelling blood, I'm not sure if it is fresh or old... but I should be carefull, there is something strange around this place..." Kushala left the right room, she returned to the cross section and went to the vault door, she carefully took away part off the door and went inside that room.
"Fluids? Alright. Thank you and be careful. Over." Anya said to Raiden as she moved with the others into the next room. The next room seemed more like it was where they kept archived information. Most of which was already gone and even a book shelf lay open vertically revealing a set of stairs behind them. You would realize just how thorough the first cleansing of this place was as a result. The few books that remained were scattered on the ground and only had things like personal observations in them with no concrete evidence and even then it was mostly lost to the wear and tear of time. Anya take a little time to look around but ultimately ended up walking up the stairs. At the top of the stares seemed to be an office. The office it self was still in good condition and unlike the rest of the lab nothing was broken. The shelf was empty like the archive room below. The desk seemed to be made of an well made imported wood and there was what seemed to be aged whine on an upper shelf, chilled from the lower temperatures. To cabinets and a small table in the middle of the room with broken whine glasses. Anya would walk over to the desk and power up the computer. Like the others it was also empty, not even an operating system. This time however she would look up to the group and talk to them. "I'm about to do something I'm not exactly a fan of. I won't be able to move or even hear any sounds while I'm doing this so please make sure a rat doesn't suddenly decide to chew on my hair. Also, please check out this room while I'm gone." she would say with a wry smile Afterwards you would see her lay her hand atop the hard drive and a few sparks would fly off as her expression became blank. Despite that you would see constant eye movement as if she was analyzing data. Raiden would find some difficulty getting through the crack but eventually makes it to the other side. When he does the hallway continues for a little further in until he comes to a huge open area. A circular room where the walls were more than twenty meters high. The ground seemed to have sand on it which has mostly been frosted over by the extreme temperatures. All around the room you would see old blood stains and all kinds of damage done to the surroundings. Most of which had been frozen over but even after more than two decades you could feel some of the madness that once occurred in this room. The walls were damaged from the inside and above you would see a part of the wall that had a large spider web like crack in it like it was made of glass. You could tell even from where you stood that the glass was probably where who ever worked here watched what happened in the room. Kushala would have no problem tearing off the other side of the vault door and on the other side she would see broken glass every where. Glass cylinders that were already broken and monitors on the sides of the wall that were black since they weren't being fed any electricity. Some of the glass cylinders were still in tact but the fluid inside them were frozen and cracking the glass. If she looked closely inside the large cylinders she would see human body parts frozen in the ice. Some had a single eye while others had what seemed like human organs. There was one in particular that seemed to be broken in a bit of an unnatural way. The glass had been broken off but the ice pillar was intact with a side of it shaved out. It didn't really seem that important but it was something to take note of.
Kushala carefully walked to the strange cylinder, her skin was stroner than the crystals and each time she stepped the crystals those made sounds of being breaking, when Kushala reached the cylinder with the ice pillar she looked around it. "This must have been done by a different creature... or maybe... that thing wanted to to leave this one untouched, I'll keep this in mind." Kushala stepped away from the cylinder and went to the monitors. "Maybe I can use those things... but that woman is not here... I could call her, well, she said she would help us." Kushala looked to her back and moved her head closer to the walkie talkie. Is this working? Hello? An, if you can come I would like you to help me with those monitors.
Alex looked around before taking the wine and the broken glasses and then searched the cabinets. Because treasure.

If Raiden had to take a guess, this was the room where the "espers" tried out their powers. Raiden walked around to the window, trying to see if it can be opened. I wonder what cracked it. After a few more fruitless attempts Raiden squeezed his way back to the hallway at the intersection, after of course he took note of the room. Raiden went straight down the hallway the intersection was formed at.
Right then, he'd walk up the stairs after the woman. Watching whatever it is she's doing curiously as he does so, seems like some kind of power connected to electricity? Either way, all he does for now is stand back and observe, reigning his power in tightly to keep it from exploding the stupid computer... Hopefully.
Sweat was forming on Anya's forehead as a line of blood began to flow from her nose. Something she didn't seem to even notice as her eyes continued to rapidly move around. Despite the movement of her eyes you wouldn't see any light in them either. As if she had lost her sight. While this continued Harry and Alex would hear Kushala over the walkie talkies. Unfortunately Anya was too preoccupied doing what ever it was she was doing to even take notice leaving either Harry or Alex to explain. While Alex was looking through the cabinets he would notice a small opening on the side of the inner edge and after fiddling with it for a while would realize it had a false bottom. After removing the false bottom it became obvious that someone else had probably rummaged through it quickly and most likely took what they could grab. Probably in a rush for some reason. The few papers that remained had some technical terms that were hard to understand but also some observations. April 23, 2001 We have successfully found a way to directly interfere with an Espers personal reality. The first testing phase has failed but we have been able to make progress. Unfortunately, during the testing phase we have lost Test Sample M209. Interfering directly with the personal reality seems to greatly effect the mind of the subject putting them under great stress. We will have to be more careful when we further experiment. Since we have not uncovered the exact variable neccesary to created an Esper then we cannot afford losing too many subjects. For now there is an estimate of 14% of samples expected to expire before we are able to figure out exactly the limits to the tampering we can afford to do. September 17, 2003 The government is putting pressure on us to give them results but this is not something that can be accomplished just because you ask. It is almost as if they were planning another war. Well, not that it mattered even if they did. The experiments have continued to make little headway until the new Head Scientist arrived a few months ago. His knowledge on Espers and the phenomena of personal realities surpassed any of ours. Our experiments have managed to make leaps and bounds as a result. Today we will be starting the first test to copy a samples personal reality and insert it into another human. I look forward to the results.
March 28, 2004 The first couple of experiments were failures. Since then we have been making adjustments and sharing information with the other labs to better future results. We lost 43% of our samples because of these failures but we should be receiving a new shipment soon. The shipment itself will probably only cover 4% of our losses. Samples are hard to come by after all. Because of an incident at another lab where sample A006 completely lost control of its power thus resulting in the destruction of the lab it has become mandatory to give either keep the samples under medication or teach them to better stabilize their abilities. Both options with pros and cons but if we're looking for better results then medication is out of the question. We will begin pitting the samples against each and teach them stability. December 25, 2007 We have finally succeeded and not a second too late. The government wanted results and was planning on shutting us down soon but we succeed. Well, barely succeeded but for what the big wigs want it might not be too bad. We have successfully copied and implanted the personal reality of a sample into a normal human. The human gained the power and control flawlessly. The problem we came across is that by implanting the personal reality of the sample into the subject their ego was crushed as a result. To be blunt they lost their sense of self. No free will or ability to think on their own. Literally broken, a human shaped puppet. For the government who wanted super soldiers this was a happy mistake for them. Super powered soldiers who would follow orders to a T without so much as batting an eye but for us scientist this was a huge blunder. We will continue to experiment in order to remedy this anomaly. Mass production of these super soldiers will also begin soon. Raiden would end up at another door that seemed more like it crumbled up like a piece of paper. It was half open and wouldn't budge but it wasn't a problem going beyond the door. Inside the room seemed to be something like a large guard room. There were small bunkers everywhere with trunks and racks that seemed to be made to hold weaponry. Most of the weaponry broken but some of it was still intact, though whether it was usable after being in these frozen temperatures was a whole other story. A little farther to the right of the guard barracks seemed to be the food canteen. It still had a lot of canned food left that hadn't expired yet but was covered in frost and dust. Most likely whatever was inside the cans suffered from major frostbite. Another door two doors lay to the opposite side of this room at opposite corners. One door would continue on while the other seemed to lead upstairs.
Alex goes back int the last room and takes a sip of wine, partially influenced by his curse and his own stress. then he returns and answers the radio, saying,"Hey, bring this with you so we could talk, end." He seems more cheery than usual, smiling.

Raiden took some of the weapons, not for studying (although Anya might want to see it) but if the building was made to house espers then these weapons must be powerful. He took the ones that seem to be in the best conditions, making sure not to set it off. From the looks of it be got about 3 full guns, and various small parts, all of which fitted perfectly into his "Black Void of Mystery"(satchel). Raiden then continued forward, making sure to take note to come back to the stairs after he was done with this floor.
Anya would finish up at the computer as she felt her legs give out under her. Her breathing rougher than before as she pulled out a handkerchief from her back pocket and wiped the blood from her nose. "All the data on the independent server has been wiped too but......there signs of tampering in the data. Like someone tried to recover what was deleted. Even worse, there still seems to be a place in the facility that's receiving electricity." A serious look on her face as she sat there to stabilize her breath. She soon stood back up and looked at the two with concern. "I don't know how to get to that part of the lab without blowing a hole in the floor and risking this entire place caving in. If we could just find the door somewhere then we can head down." You would see electricity sparking off her hair before you would hear her distorted voice over all the walkie talkies telling everyone to look out for any doors or pathways that were still receiving power and to report it immediately if they found one. If no one said anything to her she would begin to make her way back to the main room near the entrance to look through another passage. The room Kushala is in would begin to vibrate a little before coming to a stop. There wouldn't be any signs as to why that happened though. The room would return to its same eerie silence as before after that. As Kushala walked around she would notice a large hole in the far left wall. considering the way the hole looked it seemed to have been caused from the other side. Peering into the hole would show another room on the other side filled with broken beakers and medicine cabinets. It seemed to be an infirmary of some sort. Most of the containers were broken and only a little medicine was left in the cabinets. The computer in that room seemed to be in perfect condition but wasn't receiving any power. If you went out the door you would find yourself in a dark hallway probably connected to the door next to the one you first entered. Most of the hallway was broken up with the path leading back to the main hall completely blocked by rubble. To the right the hallway continued with multiple wires hanging down that would make it easy for the dragon to get tangled in if she wasn't careful. Raiden would find himself entering a hallway that seemed to just be connected to their way of living. Down the hall on the left was a shower room with the showers divided by stalls. In the room next to was the bathroom filled with old toilets covered in frost. Across on the other side of the hall seemed to be where the laundry was done and next to that seemed to something like a break room that also seemed to have a separated smoking area. At the end of the hallway was another door. You wouldn't really find much out of the ordinary save for some frost on the floor that seemed to have a foot print in it within the break room. The foot print seemed to be in front of the vending machine and seemed fairly new. Considering that this place shouldn't have had any visitors in the past 24 years then this was definitely abnormal.
Alex would walk outside to raise a few floating skulls, though it would hurt. Slugging the rest of the bottle, the first skeleton Alex lifted brought back memories. Death. Piles of broken bones, and a ruined orc dinner. But it was not the time to remember, it was the time for Adventurrr! Alex lifted five, but due to the fact that he was using a book that wasn't his, three of them fell and broke, leaving two, which went through doors two and four, with Alex going into four.
A way into that part of the lab huh? Well, that might just be possible without resorting to pure force. "We could look for a door or passage into it, but what about heat? I assume these floors can melt, the question here is would the building fall down from damage to the floor, or from damage caused by an explosion going off in it? If it's the former, I can burn through without causing a concussive wave." Of course, if Ayna herself isn't sure on that count then there's nothing else to be done except search through the place slowly. That being said, if they're lucky a bit of lava might be just the ticket to the lower levels. Dresden smirks a bit, even if his idea isn't workable, at least there's a goal to work towards now.
BBH
"Report. I found some weapons they use for the espers. I also found a fresh footprint. There might be more people here. Over." Raiden said in response to Anya. Raiden went over to investigate the vending machine area. He tried to see if he could power up the machine, or if the frontprints lead anywhere or if there is anything interesting. If nothing else he would head back upstairs.
"Looks like this room was made to take care of humans, I don't feel very comfortable here... I'll be carefull in case something is watching me right now" Kushala would look around the room but she didn't know anything about human medicines, so everything was new for her. After looking around, Kushala looked to the other two ways. "I prefer to not touch that wires, is better if I don't destroy them... I'll check the main hall to see if I can remove that rubble". Kushala went to the hallway and went to the main hall in order to remove some of the rubble.
"You could try using magma. Can't exactly say how that'll effect the facility though. Especially since this whole facility is located inside of an Ice cap. How about we try that when we're out of options?" she would say to Harry's comment, taking notice of the glint in his eye "A foot print?" Anya would ponder on what Raiden said. She would ask him to describe the area to her before asking him to examine the vending machine closely to make sure there wasn't any paths behind it or scrap marks on the ground. Afterwards she would ask him if he'll be alright on his own before continuing on to the fourth passage. A passage that was completely blocked off by rubble. She pondered whether to just destroy the rubble before sighing and deciding to try the second passage. Ultimately meeting up with Kushala who had already removed most of the rubble. Impressed and secretly thinking to herself she needs more dragons in her life she proceeded down the hall with Kushala. She would pull out a vial of black sand, and remove the top. Afterwards you would see her stick her finger into the vial and with a spark she would pull it out and the black sand would follow. Upon closer inspection it seemed that the black sand was vibrating as it took the shape of a small blade that extended from her hand. A blade she used to cut the wires as she proceeded allowing Kushala to follow without worry of getting tangled. The other rooms they passed by seemed to be other infirmaries or places where they kept the chemicals used in their experiments, chemicals that have already been emptied, destroyed, or frozen and unusable. When they reached the end of the hallway they would come across a room that seemed to be a office similar to the one they found in the archives. The moment they entered the room Anya's eyes opened wider. "There's....electricity flowing into this room." she said as she walked to the far wall behind the desk. She stepped onto a tile in the corner and put pressure on it until she heard a click. Afterwards, she looked around to see if there were any changes but she couldn't visibly see any. The place where Raiden was however was different. The floor under him shook as the vending machine as well as the area on the floor it was on moved back. The wall began to move up and the floor he was standing on began to moved back revealing metal stairs that seemed to be in nearly pristine condition. "Does anyone notice any changes in their general area?" Anya would ask over the Walkie Talkies.

"I'll be fine, besides you haven't seen anything yet," Raiden said to Anya about going alone. As he was about to leave the room it started to shake violently, instinctively Raiden would put up The Great Wall. Until he saw it was just a staircase. Well, now THATS an entrance. But what a shame, it's too bland. They could have done with cravings here, maybe some paint... Raiden pulled back into reality by the sound of the walkie talkie. "Yeah, a stairway appeared. I'm going to go investigate it. Over." Raiden started to walk down.
Since the fourth passage was blocked, Alex stumbled into the fifth, took the weapons and collapsed near the staircase
It was not a big deal for Kushala to remove a few rocks, she has managed to raise heavier monsters so rocks were nothing. She got a bit nervous when Anya took out the sand, but when she saw Anya used it to remove the wires she calmed herself. "For an instant I disliked that sand... probably I'm just imaginating things... When they reached the office and Kushala heard that click she focused for a second, in order to hear if something has changed. I think I've heard something, like if something were moving... probably someone is already checking it, so, what are your orders?
Right then, Dresden fires up his comms and pulls his pentacle amulet off his neck. "Right then, I'll go ahead and help you out over there with the stairs. Over." Naturally, given the fact that all the walkie-talkies came from the person, and have her power flowing through them, there's a bit of resonance there. And with some words chanted Dresden's amulet would light up and start pointing him towards the one in Raiden's grip. After a while of walking, he'd reach the same staircase. He'd then speak into the comms again. "Alright, easy enough to find my way here. And I've just got a feeling like something's about to happen down below, could be crazy. Over." With that, the Wizard moves forward down the stairs and lights up his staff with an errant mutter. Searching for anything of note, or for that matter his ally.
"Don't do anything reckless. Over." She said over the walkie talkie before turning to her scaly associate "Lets hurry up and head on over. Looks like the passage was in the firth hallway." Right before the two could move on however, a steel shutter came down over the door alarming both Anya and Kushala at first before the room began to shake and move. The two could feel the room making movements like an elevator. They could feel it rattle a little bit before it smoothly dropped down.. Anya looked on in anger as her fist clenched and electricity began to spark off her hair. "So the experiments really continued." She mumbled under her breath When the room finally stopped moving the far wall opened up and moved apart revealing a hallway. As they moved down the hallway they didn't see anyone. The path split not that far in with a door directly ahead and a path on their left and right. Anya continued on to the door straight ahead leaving Kushala to her own devices. Raiden and Harry would descend down the stairs and find themselves at two elevators as well. One was already descended and though you could call it back up you could also just use the second one. You would use the elevators to descend and considering it took more than 15 minutes before it stopped you could tell just how far down you were. The gate slid open and you found yourself in a hallway with a single door ahead. As you walked down the hallway you could feel something spraying on you before hot air quickly filled the hall before you would hear a voice saying "Decontamination Complete". The door ahead would open for the two to enter. Once they entered, what they saw were large cylinders filled with green liquid that came from the floor and reached to the ceiling. On the bottom of the cylinders you would see a display. The display would have Sample H294/ Ability: Ultrasonic Wave disturbance/ blood type: B- as well as a line under it that seemed to examine the subjects heart rate. If you took the time to look inside of the cylinder you would see a young boy floating inside it seemingly sleeping. The room was filled with these cylinders and each one had someone inside them. You would see two doors on the wall in front and one door on the far left.

After Raiden finished ranting about his suit being dry clean, he would start to examine each of the tubes making note of the appearances of them. I wonder if they're espers... Raiden turned to Dresden, "Do you want to try to wake them up or go through the doors. I got just the thing for them." Raiden put his hands together to and after started to take them apart, blue tinted white lines appear forming the shape of a dog. "Wala, my greatest trick!" Raiden exclaimed.
Alex, now up, rolled down the stairs, flopped into the elevator and muddled his way into the esper room, where he tapped the glass and said, "Nice doggy," to Raiden before collapsing again.
Kushala looked at Anya for a second, she was starting to feel she was not right at all... "Maybe this place is hurting her so much... What kind of experiments have been performed here? Probably is better if I don't think about that now... I have to focus on my objetive... Kushala followed Anya through the hallway, when she noticed Anya was going into the door she spoke to her. I'll warn you if i see something important, please take care. Kushala turned to the left and she took that way, she though it was a good idea to leave Anya alone for a bit and talk to her later when she is calm. "I still think something can be here, ready to attack... I must be carefull..." Kushala began to walk again very carefully, trying to not make noises while walking and being ready to move if something attacks her.
What to do, in this case it seems like the safe bet is to stick together until they know more. "I'll hang around, we're already spread out and it feels like something might just happen. Call me paranoid, I kinda am... But that doesn't mean no one is trying to kill us, and that train put me on guard." Nothing was scheduled after all or so days Anya, given that... For now Harry simply stands watch with his blasting rod at the ready.

Raiden nodded. "Alright then, I'll head to the door on the left. You know how to contact already, I'll give our update." With that Raiden pulled out the walkie talkie and said "Right now in an room with people inside tubes of liquids. I'm here with Dresden and Alex," Raiden this while poking the unconscious Alex with his cane. "I'm heading an room. Over."
"Stay on guard. We don't know what might be down here. It would be a good idea for us to regroup as soon as possible but considering we don't know our positions then for now try to stay out of trouble." Anya would say before walking into the room ahead. When Raiden goes through the door he would come into a hallway that continued to his right leading to a staircase. Directly in front of him was another door. In the large room Harry and Alex was in they would hear the right door to the far side of the room open and in walked two people. One seemed to be a young teen female while the other seemed to be a younger boy. They were wearing black and grey padded uniforms fit for military as they walked to the center row and walked down the hall. They both had a firearm at there hip but you could probably take notice of their blank stares. They didn't seem to really be focusing on anything at all. They haven't spotted the two yet but it seemed that they were doing rounds so it was still possible for the two to be caught. Kushala would walk into a room filled with all kinds of machines. The walls were covered in monitors and computer analytical equipment. Some of the larger machines had small labels on them that read P.R.N.E. written on them. Others seemed a little more ominous than others but as you neared the other side of the room you would see a workshop filled with tools and other equipment you didn't understand the use of. You would realize that this was probably where they built most of what they need as you even saw a small conveyor belt behind the work stations filled with small components. The strange thing being that this workshop was devoid of people. You wouldn't see anyone around but there were clear signs that someone had been here recently. To the left was a small hall that kuchalla wouldn't be able to fit into but the you would see a restroom sign hanging over a door.
Snif snif... "I'm not sure when... but someone has been here recently..." Kushala moved around the room carefully trying to not make noises ot trigger tramps in the room, Kushala stopped at the lare machine anf lookef at the label "P.R.N.E? What kind of thing is this? I'll keep it in mind for now... " Kushala continued walking around the room and her face turned a bit more serious when she saw the workshop, she saw it was clearer than the rest of the room... Kushala looked around it to see if there was somethig interesting and her attention went to the restroor door. "I have to look what is there... I feel something... wait... humans said I shouldn't go to a restroom without calling... but... s-should I..." ... ... ... Kushala went to the door and hit it two times with her front left claw. Hello? Is... someone there? Can I go in?
Right then, possible foes and thus Harry begins looking for anything he can take cover behind. Assuming he found it the man would move quickly and quietly, along with muttering a spell that causes an echo to ring out behind the pair. Hopefully they'll be distracted by it, and he can get the drop if he's lucky... Of course, he's also concerned enough to open his Sight for a moment, aiming to spot if magic flows through them. And quickly close it of course. Regardless, Harry watches closely. Preparing to block any hostile moves if need be, and motioning towards Raiden to keep quiet if he can still see the boy.
"I feel like shit. unh,'' Alex murmured to himself as he got up and shook off the drunkenness. then, noticing the possible foes, Alex started draining vitality, though slowly as not to get their attention. he still felt a little dizzy as he got up to his feet and moved to better cover, but he should be fine.

Raiden hear people entering the room behind him. As he turn to open the door, as he cracked the door he could see Dresden signaling him to be quite. Raiden would peer in only to see the same two teenagers. These must some of the people are apart of the experiment. Raiden signal back (don't ask how) that he would approached them. They, after all might not be enemies. As a safety measure he would charge up some circuits if need be. He slammed open the door, and stood in front of the two teenagers. "No need to act surprise, for it is I, the man of imagery, the one and only, The Floudre Magican!" Raiden said grinning. "Now what are you two doing here?" Dresden and Liang should have enough time. Worse comes to worse, I get shot
The two would turn to Raiden. The shorter boy quickly pulled out his fire arm and aimed it at Raiden while the older girl continued to look around. "Please show verification." The boy would say with the gun barrel trained on Raidens head, his voice monotone as he spoke Alex would find difficulty draining anything from the two. As if there was a wall blocking his drain from affecting them. After Kushala tapped on the door she would hear a womans voice answer back from the inside. "Yeah yeah. Don't get your biodegradable underwear in a twist. I'll be out in a few." the voice. After a few more moments the door opened as the woman was wiping her hands. "See, that didn't take so lo-." she paused as her gaze trained onto Kushala. He mouth agape in fear before she took a step back slamming the door and locking it. "Please don't eat me! I don't taste good at all! Just skin and bones I am! There are plenty of other things that you could eat besides me ya know!" Her frantic voice reaching through the door. You could even hear a few sobs from her
Alex tore through the pages looking for spell and memorized a few (Eldritch blast, cloud of daggers, bestow curse, fog cloud, vampiric touch, revivify.) He started charging a little and preparing for his next move, Because things might go sideways.
"I knew my sense of smell wouldn't lie to me, but now this human is completelly scared... I should calm her down... but how... hmmm... I'll try this" Excuse my human, but I think this is a misunderstanding, I'm a dragon, that is not incorrect, but I'm here in order to check this facilities, I have no orders to attack or kill, also, I dislike how humans taste, I prefer other animals that can be worth of my energy and time. Kushala now lied down in the floor. Why do you think I first wanted to call before going in? I wouldn't have done that if i were a rabid dragon, just think about that.

"Verification? Sure thing it's in here." Raiden reached into his satchel to pull out a piece of paper with his right hand, and handed it over to the boy. However, if the boy stepped forward, Raiden would throw with his left hand a circuit blade at him, piercing him and getting sent 100,000 volts. Whether or not it stopped him was irrelevant (though helpful if it did) as he would be pulled towards Raiden. By putting the circuits into his body, he was moving at 25 mph, to get the fire arm of a the stunned boy. As Raiden would take firearm and aim it the boy and shooting him in the leg. Raiden would then duck down and put the circuits into forming The Great Wall around, as Raiden would notice that the girl was looking at. Raiden smirked, just what he. All eyes on him. The rest is up to them. Raiden thought this to himself.
There's a blur of motion as Dresden moves out from cover, doing so with incredible speed but still fairly quiet. Hopefully they'll be too stunned by Raiden, either way he attempts to close in on the second target Raiden hadn't attacked. Hoping to grab hold of their arms and pull back, easily using enough force on their arms to send a few 100 pounds flying if he got a good hold.
"Please show verification." the bow would repeat even after Raiden pulled out the paper without even paying any attention to it. "Please show verification within five seconds." The boy would then say again. The moment Raiden threw the circuit blade it seemed to have bounced off of a wall as you heard a blunt thud and fell to the ground. "Hostiles found. Moving to terminate." He said, pulling the trigger with trained motions while releasing a hail of bullets at Raiden. The older girl would still be looking around for any other hostiles while still paying attention to Raiden. If Harry still decides to try to take advantage of this then he would be met with colliding into what could only be described as an invisible wall. Not one that was completely solid but more so as if it was in a state right below solidifying before it burst, sending him flying back 8 meters. Afterwards Raiden and Harry would notice that it has begun to become more difficult to breathe. Alex has not yet been discovered but the girl continued to look around the area. Making sure there weren't anymore hostiles before proceeding to eliminate the two that were found. The woman was not responding from inside the bathroom as she panicked and tried to analyze the situation. After a few minutes of silence Kushala could hear the woman on the other side calm down a bit more. "The fact that you're here checking out the facility today of all days does not suddenly make this okay! You shouldn't be here for any reason at all! I mean what the hell is security doing to let a freaking dragon in. I don't get paid enough for this.......why are you snooping around and are there others with you? Who are you?" her last two questions sounding a lot more resolute despite hearing a few sniffles behind it.
Alex casts fog cloud (medium mana usage, 40ft radius) on the girl and starts making his way to the esper room and creates a small chaos altar , in case he needed anything. then he hid.
Right then, instead of rushing forward into the barrier that blocked Raiden's shots Dresden shifts his plans. He'd stay behind cover for now, but of course now's the time to slam his staff up into the air. ''ARCTIS!" Ice rushes out from under the pair, assuming that his magic actually worked then it would quickly cover their legs and leave them unable to move. Of course, that's all assuming that his spell can even do anything, if not... Well, he'll have to think fast because it sure as hell isn't looking like they're going to just people walk around and check the place out.
"security? So there are more humans here... I should be carefull" As I said, I got orders, I don't know the details, however, I can say I've not come here to kill anyone, well, as long as anyone attacks me. Why don't you tell me what has happened here? Maybe I can tell to my friends and we can help you. Kushala continued talking calmly, she was able to feel the woman was still a bit nervous, she knows she is not going to leave the room... wait... actually... "As long as she speaks is fine..." What about this, you tell me everything you know from there and I promise I won't touch you or eat you or whatever you were thinking. But, atleast open the door, I know it sounds strange, but think about it, as long as you are inside your room you are safe, don't you think? Why don't you open the door and tell me what are you doing here and why?

Raiden would reel his knife back as he it bounce off the "barrier" around the boy. As it went back to him it started to form a wall, as the boy fired at him, however... Shit. Raiden thought this himself, as he got shot in the side of his cheek and collarbone. The shield he put up blocked the last few bullets, however not the initial shot aimed at his head which caused the graze on his cheek That didn't go as plan... Raiden thought as The Great Wall formed around him. I need someway to break in maybe... Raiden would put his entire right arm into his Black Void of Mystery and pulled out a a drill that was wrapped around his arm. "Let's see how you handle Rati!" He said as he moved forward with the drill, striking it into the barrier. The Wall would recessed back leaving his arm exposed, but the rest of his body covered. Raiden charged forward with this seeing if this could work. If all went well it would pierce it and Raiden would continue on this assault, hoping to immobilized him with the circuits around him.
The dark cloud would take away their vision long enough for the ice Harry cast to envelope their legs. The ice was more brittle than he expected and with a little bit of struggling they could free themselves but in the mean time that left an opening for Raiden. Raiden would find no resistance as he rushes forward as if whatever wall blocked his attack the first time was no longer there but unfortunately his vision would also be taken away as he came into the cloud of darkness. Harry no anyone else would be able to see with the cloud. As time passed their ears would begin to pop and like earlier, they would find it increasingly more difficult to breathe. If too much time passes they would even begin to feel dizzy. The woman in the bathroom would sound almost offended. "Help me?! Why would I need any help? I work here as an engineer. This is my job." she would yell across the door before mumbling a little "Although if Jonas wasn't here I probably wouldn't have been passed up on last months promotion" There was another pause before she started speaking again. "Listen. I don't have anything to tell you and whatever snuck in here with you. I'm just trying to make a living okay!" The woman would say after it seemed she calmed down a bit though there seemed to still be a tinge of fear in her voice.
"well... she has said something... now I know I have to find a human called Jonas, he will have more info". Kushala moved her head towards the walkie talkie on her back. Whispering: "Anya, I've found a woman on the way at the left, she has mentioned a guy called Jonas, she still has not noticed that she has said something important so I will leave her alone and I'll check the right way" Kushala moved her head to her previous spot and went closer to the door. Looks like we started bad... and I also see you are very scared, I'll leave you alone for a while so calm yourself, farewell human. Kushala began to walk away, she walked the first steps as she always would do, but she did it in order to let the woman hear her steps, when she was a bit away she began to move without making noises and she also spat out a little wind ball that created a little tornado. The little tornado went to the middle of the room and fell into the ground making a small noise, it would be enought to be heard for the woman and make her think Kushala is still there. "Scared humans don't think logically, I'm sure she won't move from there for a while, is better if she remains there so later Anya can interrogate her". Now Kushala without making noises left the room and went to the right way.
Even in the dark, with his foes frozen in place Harry can attack them some more fairly easily. "ARCTIS!" The ice keeps on forming, resisting attempts to remove it and even spreading further up their bodies. Or at least attempting to. That however is not main plan. "Feels like I'm reaching, but here goes..." The man reaches into his coat, drawing a large revolver and pointing it towards the girl's chest. Or at where it'll be if she hasn't moved. With that, bullets fly straight for her alongside the ice rushing upwards even faster... Though by now Harry's starting to feel less than great. "Need to end this fast, or find a way outside. Nevernever is an option I guess... Risky one, but still."

Raiden put his arm drill forward, the tip of it opening up to reveal his hand with a circuit coming out of ever finger to the boy wrapping him in it and sending out 100,000 volts, of course if it would hit him, the fog obstructed his vision. As another measure, 5 feet in ever direction he last saw the boy a square would start to form. Eventually every corner diagonally when up to form a pyramid. "Pyramid of Giza!" Raiden said as what ever was in the pyrimad was hopefully trapped. That's when he started to cough. Coughing is bad of course, but when you have a bullet wound somehow it feels worse. I thought this was because of the wound, but it's getting worse...
Alex began praying. He prayed for help and it was answered. Two post its floated into his hands as he pointed one at everyone else. "ChAoS surge!" he called out and these things happened. The next book Harry would read would put him as the protagonist, Raiden would spontaneously combust and decombust, the Boy would only be able to turn left, and in front of the girl, a small portal to the plane of infinite grease would open up, and grease would shoot out. Then Alex grew a beard of feathers.
The girl would burst forth from the darkness sprinting directly towards Harry at an angle. He could clearly see three bullet holes bleeding out on her left shoulder and fragments of ice on her legs as she pulled the gun out with her right hand. She would aim the gun not at Harry but away from him and pull the trigger. If Harry does nothing after this he would feel a bullet hole open up in the back of his thigh after hearing a series of blunt burst in the air around him. Suddenly a portal opened in front of the girl and she suddenly jumped back. As a stream of what appeared to be grease shot out towards her it suddenly hit a wall in front of her before she ran around it heading towards Harry again. The darkness would soon clear after this showing the boy on the ground having been hit by Raidens first attack, body still twitching from the surprise shock. The boy seemed to still be miraculously conscience if not paralyzed and unable to move. Suddenly Raiden burst into flames. The smell of burning flesh spread throughout the room before an alarm suddenly went off and the sprinklers came on dousing the flame before it could go out on its own. Raiden would have burn marks all over his body making the already breathable air he was taking in even harder. With the water from the sprinklers mixed with the grease the floor became much more difficult for anyone to stand on. Extremely slippery and flammable. The fire alarm no doubt alerting some staff to the disturbance. Anya's voice would come over the walkie talkie as she heard Kushala's report. "Alright, Jonas huh? I'll keep a look out for that name. I'm going through some of the data of the lab right now but it's probably going to take a while since its encrypted and spread out on mutliple servers. Also, I've found a map. It seems we've ended up on completely different sides of the lab. Near Harry, Alex, and Raiden seems to be the sample room. Can I ask you guys to check that out for me while you're there?" she said before the fire alarm began to go off. "What the hell is going on over there. The systems saying an alarm is going off in your vicinity. Please don't tell me you're doing something stupid. Kushala would walk through the right door and upon entering she would see numerous data panels around. They would remind you of a large glass bookcase but instead of shelves they had blue glass panels that contained numerous archives of data. They were arranged in rows similar to how a library was. Some places would have desks filled with stacks of paper work containing all kinds of difficult to understand information. She would see numerous people walking around collecting and creating data at the interfaces on the panel as others seemed to be pushing large crates on a hovering plate to the door to the far side of the room. Everyone seemed busy and running around doing whatever they were assigned, so much so that they wouldn't notice Kushala just yet. Some of them stopped because of the sudden fire alarm but others assured them nothing was happening and they returned to work. The Guard duty here seemed pretty lax but that could simply be because they are heading over to check on the state of the alarm.
Alex dropped another Fog Cloud and prepared to do another stupid thing. He took a running start and slid, carrying two life syringes sticking one into Harry and another into Raiden whilst trying to keep his momentum going to the other door. Also, in an unrelated note the beard feathers were really, really soft!

Raiden experienced the weirdest 5 minutes of his life. First he got the boy, then he was on fire the put out, now stabbed by syringe. Raiden would break out of this astonishment by the sound of the walkie talkie. "Well needless to say that we were investigating. Should probably hide." He said after making sure the boy was tied up and in his pyramid. Raiden turned his attention to Dresden to make sure the girl was down. "I'll tell you how this goes after it's over. Over." Raiden grabbed his throat. It is getting harder to breathe. Have to get out of here. And fast.
Rather than simply allow the bullet to fly, Dresden moves with inhuman speed and rushes in front of the girl's gun. Shouting words as he does so and raises his right arm like a shield. "Vento Riflittum!" A glowing shield of magical energy rushes up in front of the arm held towards her shot, just barely taking shape before it can slam into Harry. Instead, it hits a swirling mass of magical energy which sends it flying right back at the girl, though there's no telling if it'll hit or not. And with that, his shield vanishes as he simply keeps watch over the girl for now, and shouts a reply to Raiden. "Where exactly do you plan to go!? I was pondering trying to just wait them out, and then you had to go and speak to them. At this point, it seems like hurting them till they fall down is our only choice." Even so, Dresden does begin rushing off for the next room, while also reloading his gun and weaving about the room. Hoping to at least make himself a harder target... Though, perhaps applying so much force as his Mantle demands isn't a great idea.
Kushala looked around to analyze the area. "For now is better if they don't see me, but I'm big, where can I hide? Wait... actually..." Kushala looked to one of the large crates. "She used a box to hide and run... I can do the same now..." Quckly Kushala flew to one of the large crates, she made sure anyone saw her and then went inside. "I need information, for now is better if anyone see me, there must be a leather here, I must find him"
The bullet reflected off of the shield would be sent backwards in the opposite direction of Harry and the girl. He would notice this strange phenomena as he began to run. He would then feel a pressure that felt like his head would be being squeezed before feeling like he was hit with a blunt object on the right side of his head, causing him to slip and fall on the slippery floor as the girl readied to shoot her gun once more before another cloud of darkness obstructed her, Harry's, and Raiden's vision once more. Alex would have no problem injecting them with the life syringes which would heal their wounds but would not change the fact they were finding it harder and harder to breathe. By this point, considering the amount of energy Alex just expended, he would find his body feeling a little heavy as he found it difficult to breathe. The same could be said of the other two to a lesser or greater degree. Harry at this point finally getting a little dizzy after running and his fall. "What do you mean when it's over! What are you...do you have any idea whats going on right now? With that alarm more guards are headed your way. You need to think of something quick." she would say over the line hoping things did not go completely south. The crates were constantly being moved around towards the opposite side of the room. Kushala would be able to hide behind them with relative ease as most of the people were more into their own work and not paying attention to their surroundings, even leading some of them to bump into each other in passing. "Where the hell is the shipment manifest!?" one female scientist would be yell at porter transporting the crates through the area. "Director Jonas has already confirmed the items being shipped" the man would reply before the woman gave a deep sigh and began to rub the bridge of her nose "I don't care whether that idiot confirmed or not. We need the original documents to keep record of what goes in and out of here. The higher ups may be okay with these arrangements but we're not." the woman would say with a glare, a clear accent in her voice different from the others here. The porter would begin to stutter as he tried to come up with an excuse but she simply waved him off demanding he brought it to her soon. After that she walked over to a rather large desk against a wall where she started going over papers that were set on the table mumbling to herself about whether they should increase the dosage of something or not. On some of the walls Kushala would be able to see the blueprints of some of the machines she saw in the other room.
The man sighs and points his blasting rod where he thinks she is, shouting the words as fire rushes out towards her in a massive cloud. Dresden himself seeking to move away, and preparing another spell... Though he's not sure it'll work, can't hurt to try. "Ventas Respiratio!" Wind swirls around Harry, but instead of rushing out to attack it would simply... Hang around the man, air thickening as he breathes in deep and looks to walk into the next room, assuming he can find it. "Phew, that's better... No telling how well it holds, but better."
"So they are taking this boxes to somewhere... I must leave before they take me with them and... wait... they... take the boxes with them... what about... if I..." ... ... ... "Actually, I'm sure they would never expect to see a real dragon, so I can do this" Kushala slowly lied down and remained completelly immobile, she was like a statue of a dragon, it could be a bit strange because Kushala doesn't know what are in he other boxes, however, they wouldn't think she is a real dragon. "I must remain like this for a while, now I think about it what are the others doing? I'm curious now, they are strong so I'm sure they will be fine"
BBH
If it worked once it might happen again. Raiden aimed his wand and out came circuits at the girl, much like the boy. However, they may not hit for Raiden is losing focus because of his breathing. If all went well he would tie up the girl like the boy and borrow their ID cards and borrow their gun from them. Just in case. Raiden rushed into the room where Alex was, still losing his breathe. He practically threw himself to get across. He would try to do this also, if the girl was not passed out. But still took the gun and ID from the boy.
Alex gets up and prepares an eldritch blast then fires it at (hopefully) one of the tubes and travels through the door. noticing himself slip, he injected himself with life energy before moving to the side.
The fire Harry releases does a lot more than sweep out in front of him as the grease mixed with water catches fire lighting up the darkness cloud Alex had created earlier. The fire began to quickly spread out in the room, even catching Harry's coat on fire. The fire alarm went off once more as the sprinklers turned on to put out the fire in vain. Harry would make it to the next room during all of this semi safely considering his coat was currently on fire. The room was a long hallway with a long glass pane that stretch across both hallways leading to a door at the end of the hall. If Harry would look into the rooms beyond the glass windows he would notice children on both sides in what looked a little like a playroom. The children themselves didn't really seem to keen on playing as some looked frightened and others were crying. The oldest one you saw was maybe 14 years old. Through out the hallways these children's rooms seemed to be divided into five sections each with a glass door leading into each section. On the far side of the room behind the door you could hear the sound of people rushing towards the door on their way to the hallway. Most likely checking out the situation. The sudden sea of flames that enveloped the are would stop Raiden from not only throwing out the circuits to hit the girl but would make it harder to move around in general. The boy still unable to move from the shock, if left alone he would surely burn alive. Regardless, If Raiden manages to move to the next room he would find himself in a small hallway that had another door directly in front of them with the hallway continuing to the right, leading to a set of stairs. Beyond the door directly in front of them they would hear people heading towards them. Alex would successfully hit one of the tubes with a person in it. It would shatter and the person would fall onto the floor where they would be awakened by the sudden blaze burning their flesh. As they awoken to a panic their body and eyes began to give a dim glow as their power seemed to go out of control. The room would begin shaking as what seemed like a vacuum began to drag Alex towards him. The boy screaming in pain as the flame enveloped him and his power causing the flame to spread even further. In the room filled with people running around one porter would stop in front of Kushala as he stared at her, confusion written on his face. He'd look down at some forms on a clipboard and go through each one by one before looking back at the woman from before. "Where exactly does this go? I don't see it in the list anywhere." The woman sighed before walking over, dragging her feet as she walked over. She would look at Kushala with a raised brow before walking to a nearby desk and picking up a small metallic ball. "Has this been tested?" she asked the scientist sitting at the table. "Well, it's been tested but the voltage is still to high to use on a human. We're still trying to lower it to be used for practical-" "Good enough" she interrupted him and threw the ball towards Kushala. The metal ball would open then a metal net would wrap around her sending volts of electricity through her body in an attempt to completely paralyze her. If she can't resist the shock then the woman would tell the porter to take her to a cell and leave her their for dissection later. She would return to her work without delay, hoping to not be interrupted again.
"what is that thing? I feel she knows I'm a real dragon... maybe I should talk to her bef-" When the metal net surrounded her and the electicity began to flow through her body she felt a lot of pain... however, that electricity was not enough to stop her... Kushala's face changed from a normal one to a completelly angry one, she managed to put her wings closer to her while wind began to flow from her, Kushala began to shake instants before releasing herself from the net and covering herself with a gigant tornado. two seconds later, two red points shined from inside the tornado, those points were looking directly to the woman who threw the ball. RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Kushala left the tornado and flew directly to the woman, Kushala was surrounded with strong winds that flowed through the entire room, when Kushala reached the woman she would bite her, shake her and violently threw her to the ground. With that done Kushala walked towards the woman, each step was being very strong and was destroying part of the ground, she was also furiously staring at the woman. Where is that Jonas... WHERE!?
The man curses and looks back, dammit he should of known not to pull that stunt. But instead he's rushing back into the room and standing in the doorway, pointing his staff out and sighing as he prepares his best attempt at damage control. "INFRIGA!" Magical energy rushes out from his staff, the man panting hard and feeling worn down as heat suddenly drains away from the fires inside the room. By the his spell is done, there'd be a few easily put out bits of flame at most... And a tired looking Dresden staring out at the room with a grimace on his face. "Right then, well that was all around bad planning on my part. Now, I think it's about time we got moving again before more unwanted guests appear!"

Raiden rushed to the door only to stop before he opened it. He turned to the boy and sighed. Damn my mortality. Raiden positioned the circuits not only to his legs, but his lungs giving him more air to breathe. Raiden ran to the boy and picked him up, however while doing so saw the girl admist in the flames (and esper). After cursing under his breath he tried and put his circuits as a shape of a claw on the ground and travelled them to the girl. If it connected, then the girl would be unconscious like the boy and would bring her to him. Afterwards he would rush into the room. Finally able to breathe. If she didn't go unconscious, then scream run to her and he would still take the boy into the room. Whether or not if he had them both he would still take their ID cards and guns and he went down the stairs. Leaving them behind in the room.
Alex leaped for the door and called for backup. A dark figure appeared. It held a warhammer that a lesserman could not hold with two hands in his right and a tower shield in the other. It wore bloodied plate with spikes and powerfully strode with fire seeping through it's visor(Eyes). when it got to the Esper it brought down the hammer with the force of two men and the ferocity of a beast. Alex also was in heavy debt now.
The fire was put out by the spell Harry casts and Raiden escaped into the next room carrying the two. The woman and boy still being conscious but unable to move from the shock. After which, from shocking the girl it would become exceedingly easier for them all to breathe once more. The creature Alex summoned would bring the hammer down onto the child esper whose body was glowing now as their power ran amok. The child would look up to the creature with a scream as the very air seemed to tremble around the two before a blunt, muffled explosion sounded off, followed by a vacuum that would drag anything still within the room to its center. The monster and child now a bloody pulp from his own power as a huge chasm appeared in their place. One whose bottom could not be seen, as if it was simply carved out, it was smooth to a touch and even the metal of the floor didn't seem like it was torn but cleanly cut out. Raiden wouldn't find any ID cards on the two but would find the hand guns no problem as well as two sets of spare amo. After ascending the stares Raiden would find himself at what seemed to be an observation deck. There were a few computers and monitors that were connected to cameras in different rooms. He could clearly see the chasm that was formed in the room her just left as well as the room with Kushala in it and the nursery like passage Alex and Harry was in. On one of the cameras he would see a large area filled with containers with a large train in it being loaded as well as what seemed like security headed towards the room with the chasm. If Harry and Alex avoided being dragged into the chasm by the vacuum they would find themselves in a long hallway with a long glass pane that stretch across both hallways leading to a door at the end of the hall. If the two would look into the rooms beyond the glass windows he would notice children on both sides in what looked a little like a playroom. Kushala would charge at the woman but she wouldn't even look flustered as she rose her right arm. The sleeve of her shirt tore open revealing a mechanic arm as three protrusions came out of the arm. They then slammed into the arm as a giant shockwave was produced that hit Kushala and slammed her into the wall behind, only barely avoiding the other scientists. What seemed like a large bullet shell fell from the under side of the arm onto the floor before the arm began to spark and fell limp to her side. She clicked her tongue as she pulled some lever on the shoulder, detaching the arm, and laying it on the table. "It still breaks down after a single use. Maybe we should use a different medium and and make the shock absorbers disperse the force through the air." she would shake her head and turn her head to one of the security personnel. "Call three wind Espers over to nuetralize its wind control. One with super strength and another with vibration control should be able to neutralize it" she said before turning her attention back to Kushala as another security guard stood between them. "Did you really think that after all the years we spent in learning about ability users and how to fight against them that you could just run amok all you want? I assume the alarm on the other side of the lab is your companions. How many of you are there and what are you doing here?" slowly walking to another table and grabbing what seemed like a small hand gun she aimed at kushala with her remaining left hand.
The impact sent Kushala away, but she quckly put her legs and front claws in the grond and dragged herself a few metters away, leaving the ground with rifts. Kushala now flapped her wings like she always would do in order to leave blurred marks under her, however she aldo activated the walkie talkie at her back, so Anya could hear Kushala has been discovered. Why we are here? They just told me to find info, I don't know what kind, however, I have a different objetive, I have to find a woman called Radja. A guy with a lot of pictures in his skin looked like he known about her, so I also would like to talk with him if it is possible. Kushala stopped to flap her wings, but the winds around her began to et darker until they went completelly black. Now what you know that, what about if we go serious, I'm sure your friend Jonas knows something, and I will talk to him if you want or not. Kushala moved a bit to the left and began to flap her wings again in order to leave her blurred marks. Well human, I'm waiting.

Raiden had to act fast. He tip his top hat down and closed his eyes, while taking out his notebook. All he had to do is... FOCUS Everything around Raiden stopped and he thought to himself. This if course was not time traveling as Raiden cannot move, rather it is him breathing in a lot of air in long breath to help him think. He looked at every monitor and drew a map, making note of where Dresden, Liang, Daora, Anya, and the train. He knew he had to act fast. He grabbed out a CPU box and type on it, it slowly started to manifest to another version of himself, just made out of circuits and only a outline of him. He flipped a switch in him as the CPU box went to the head, as looked out what seemed to be a monocle and placed it in his eye. With this Raiden could see what the clone sees. He pulled out his walkie talkie and spoke to Anya to it. "You waited an explanation? Here's one: Dresden and Liang are fighting a esper child, while Daora is lock in with a warden of some kind. Right now there are more guards appearing to everyone. I have plan. So stupid it just might work. We know this place is still active even after 24 years. With that, if everyone attacked with full power we could take down a hefty amount, however nowhere around enough to stop it. In fact this may not be the only place they're doing it in. So in short. Let's hijack a train! If we could all rendezvous together we might be able to get out. Over."
Alex set down a Cloud filled with spinning blades (Cloud of daggers) at the far door and looked to Harry, asking, "You still have enough for a fireball?"
The man looks toward the door, rolling his eyes a bit as Alex mentions fire. "I panicked and tossed out fire before, but come on doing it again in a place held up by ice? What kinda stupid would be needed to come up with that plan..." He runs closer to the door, rushing quickly and pulling his staff upwards then slamming down as he stares at it. "Gravitus." The forces of gravity crash down in the area in front of the door, they'd focus in and strengthen greatly no doubt slowing anyone who stepped inside. That said, it's not enough to kill or even entirely stop a person from moving, bullets caught in the effect, however, would easily be forced down to the ground. And with that, he turns around and keeps moving. "Alright, that should slow these guys down a bit if we're lucky. Gotta figure out a plan for what to do next though, can't keep this up forever..."
The woman would simply stare at Kushala with a raised brow. "Radja? And this man with pictures on his skin. Are you talking about tattoos? What the hell makes you think my assistant would know anything about those people?" she would then begin rubbing the bridge of her nose as she took in a deep sigh "So you sneaked into my lab and started tearing the place up looking for two people. Unless they are Espers I believe you're in the wrong place. God fucking dammit!" She said as she looked around the lab at the mess Kushala caused "I don't even fucking care anymore. Capture it or kill it. Either works for me. This is going to set us back by a couple months anyways." She said as she walked away towards the far right door. The guard would stand between Kushala and the woman and put her hands out before her. The very air began to tremble as the winds Kushala kicked up began to destabilize and lose strength. Two more guards came up as they shot two more balls similar to the ones from before at Kushala using a small hand catapult. Raiden wouldn't hear anything over the walkie talkie at first before a groan transmitted over to him. "Do you guys even know the meaning of be careful. We've been here less than thirty minutes and haven't found any real information and yet......no never-mind. Getting out of here now that we've been discovered is important too. You said there was a train right. I'll patch you through to the others and you can tell them your plan. I begin to head over to the train from here. Over." Anya said with some clear irritation before the line opened to everyone. Alex and Harry would find that the gravity was indeed buying them time. The grunts of the people on the other side of the door could be heard as they struggled to move forward towards the door. Whatever it was they were all planning needed to be done quickly.
*Alex starts firing Eldritch blasts at the Guards*
First, Raiden would send a circuit along the monitors, seeing if there was another room with monitors. If nothing then he proceed as normal. If yes then he would attempt to fry it. Raiden would tell his plan to Alex and Harry, though making sure to tell Anya not to tell Kushala, if Kushala did not get out. If she did, then he told her. Have to be thorough... Raiden made three more clones, in total of 4. Two stayed in the room, one watched the monitors, the other the knockout guards with a gun. One went to Harry and Alex, seeing to take the guards at the door from behind. One head to the train with a camera for Raiden to see. While the real Raiden headed for Kushala, making sure to stay hidden with help from the cameras. If all went well then he would make it there around the doorway still hidden. If all went well with his clone to Harry and Alex,it would dive bomb inside the crowd and with a shockwave, hopefully paralyzing a few, only if they had no shields.
*Capture it or kill it* that words echoed inside Kushala's head and triggered her survival instinct, that means she will fight until her last breath. If you think you are going to capture me without a fight you are completelly mistaken, you are going to see the fury of an ancient dragon. With that said Kushala flied back to avoid a posible contact of the balls, but she flapped her wings to send the balls towards the guards who shot them. With that done she would surround herself with a tornado and charge against all the remaining guards and would send them towards the wall due to the force of the impact. With the guards away she would fly between the woman and the word she was going to use, Kushala was not going to let her leave that easily.
"Venteferro..." The gravity spell vanishes, slamming down one final time extra hard before going away as he simply can't maintain two at once. His staff moves toward the chasm and a warn red light glows from it, in a moment that same glow would move into the metal near the chasm and cause more flooring to begin growing from it. After a few moments, Harry's built a bridge across and begins darting over it, with any longer Alex can get across before the guards catch up. "Might want to move fast, I'm not sure how loNg this thing will last even with my... Eh, no need to go into detail. Just hurry up Alex!"
Raiden would in fact see another monitor room and would succeed in frying the systems in that room Unfortunately that also meant they knew where he was as well. While Raiden is on his way to the room where Kushala currently was he would find himself in the area with the train that connected the west and east labs. It was a much larger area filled with cargo. Most of which are large containers filled with medical supplies, foodstuff, chemicals, or other things like machine parts and such. The train itself was being loaded and unloaded and you would even see places where they were loading cylinders with people in them like the ones from the first room he was in. This area was extremely large and long, filled with people as they carried cargo and looked over manifest and other documents. You would see some guards rushing towards the far door where Kushala should be. The metals balls shot at Kushala would be sent back to their owners and a net of electricity would come out shocking them into unconsciousness. As Kushala created the tornado around its body and charged at the Guard between her and the woman from before her tornado lost power and as she was about to hit the guard whom had her hands she would hit something of a wall. The wall would immediately break apart as she collided with it but Kushala would be stopped by it ultimately. The guard then jumped back and began to put its hands together but seemed to be struggling as you saw the air vibrate and warp. A ball of compressed air appeared in her hands that then shot forward towards Kushala. It was too fast to completely dodge and was headed straight for Kushala's left wing. The woman continued to walk towards the door without looking back as some more guards came into the room. Harry managed to make it to the other side without problem as the makeshift bridge continued to stand. Alex's eldritch blasts would hit some of the gaurds but the moment Harry let the gravity spell down more rushed into the room. One of them moved at a inhuman speed as it rushed forward like a blur and then striking Alex in his stomach while sending electricity through his body to stun him. Sparks flew off the male guard and electricity flowed from his body into Alex's. The other guards flooded into the hall as they ran towards Harry. Another Guard similar to the one that hit Alex rushed forward like a blur as he came across the bridge planning to do the same to Harry. Because of the distance he was coming from Harry would have enough time to react but he would need to be decisive in whatever action he takes.
Kushala flapped her wing the moment the ball hit her, she knows how to deal with wind attacks and luckily her wings are her strongest part of her body. If you thinking you are going to damage my wings with wing you are going to need to do it better, much better. Kushala knows there are more guards comming, however, if she doesn't defeat that wind guard she won't be able to use her full wind powers, she fells how the wind is even more weak with the time, but wait... she can't use wind attacks, but... *I'm still very fast and strong in the air, he won't be able to hit me Kushala would fly towards the guard trying to not give him time to react, if she manages to reach him she would bite him and smash him into the ground.
Huh, I guess we weren't far from each other... Raiden took note of the cargo. He did this in regarded to the machines parts and fear of what Anya would do to him if he didn't get more Intel. He was also giving instructions to Harry, however in spurrs as he saw that he was fighting. Raiden looked at the train. If we're able to, we could bring back some of those espers in the tubes. Raiden adjusted his top hat. A life worth living. Raiden would still approach forward, checking his monocle to see if he would be seen by anyone if he attempted to paralyze the guards in front of him. If no then he would do just that. If yes, then he would make his way down to the train.
This one is a bit of improv, but it should do the trick with any luck. As soon as his foe takes a step into the bridge, Harry would slam his staff down and shout. "DROP!" With that word, the bridge shifts form in an instant. Quickly dropping out from under Harry's enemy and with any luck sending them plummeting down into the gap.
Alex tried to resist the electricity and sneakily use vampiric touch on the man, sapping his energies and life. This man had the upper hand now, but later, he would be the next batch of jerky.
Raiden would find difficulty in getting the chance to paralyze the guards as the place was filled with people running from one place to another. He would even see more guards off in the distance running through the door leading to Kushala. Because of the numerous people he would find difficulty getting to the train as well since most of the attention was on loading it. He would see a man off to the side smoking a cigarette with another man is a similar lab coat. "Ah~. Why does all this commotion have to happen today? First some intruders are causing a mess on the east wing and a dragon suddenly appeared on the west. If the cargo doesn't all get loaded and shipped out that devil woman will have my head." the black haired man said with no energy, as if he's already been drained for the day "C'mon Jonas, no talking about work while on break. You'll make me more depressed. I mean, who do you think is going to have to clean this mess when its over?" the other younger brown haired man said as he blew smoke into the air "I'd still rather do that than be that woman's assistant. Assistant director my ass. I feel like I'm just a fucking errand boy." he said with a scowl "Can you blame her. She's the smartest person we have in the lab. A lot of stuff wouldn't have even been possible without her. Besides, be her assistant must have some perks right? I mean, other than her too serious personality she's freaking hot." the younger man said with a snicker "You gotta have a screw loose if you want to sleep with that woman. Sure she looks good but she looks like the type that would rather step all over you." the guy said with disgust as he imagined Raiden could hear the two talking off to the side. One seemed to be the assistant director of this lab. They were within ear shot and because they were standing away from the numerous people running around they were semi-secluded from the others as not to get in there way. Kushala would succeed in sinking her teeth into the guard eliciting a yelp from her before being slammed into the ground and losing consciousnesses. Soon after that Kushala would feel a blunt hit on her side that caused her to fly back. This time was one of the new guards that came into the room. He would jump forward leaving a small crater on the ground in his wake. As he was about to swing his arms down onto Kushala a beam of lightning shot past her at the guard knocking him out of the sky and rendering him unconscious. Kushala would notice Anya running towards her from behind with sparks flying off her hair. "We're getting out of here!" she shouted towards Kushala. The remaining three guards that ran into the room would block their path. One of them would clap and a shockwave would be sent towards Kushala and Anya. The guard that was sending electricity through Alex but as soon as he began to feel weak he jumped back, taking distance, and began shooting electricity at Alex. Two of the guards that ran past Alex before stopped and one put their hands up as the air began to vibrate. The other turned and shot a beam of flame at Alex from behind that covered most of the hall. Alex was being attacked by electricity from the front and fire from the back. The bridge that Harry made fell apart dropping the man into the chasm. Soon after that he released electricity from his body, manipulating the metal around him to create footholds that he quickly jumped off of to get up to Harry. One of the others that were running towards them continued to run and then leaped over the chasm as wind seemed to form under him and carry him over.
Seeing how he could not move from his spot, Raiden clicked his monocle to see his clones. The clone, if not destroyed would attempt to take down the guard with electricity to hopefully give Alex some leg room. Raiden would also take note of the positions of the man to get a better understanding of everything. So the woman is the director, eh Raiden passed this information to his teammates. Maybe If I take her out, most guards would lose will But after hearing the men talk, may be not.
Kushala looked at Anya and nodded, actually that woman was probably away, so it was better to leave before more guards come. Understood! Now with her full powers Kushala surrounded Anya and herself with a wind barrier, she flapped her wings to surround the room with black winds. Now with the room filled with black winds she got the chance to fly towards Anya, let her jump to her back and leave through the way she came, however. Guide me to the others, we can't leave them here.
Alex flung multiple Clouds of Daggers in front and behind himself to help conceal him. Then he attemted to sidestep the shock but was hit, it being electricity. He managed to avoid most of the inferno, but burnt his left leg (widespread 2nd degree burns, a 3rd degree burn)
Dresden's trying a desperate move here, one he can't really call in good conscious at this point but even so... The man moves in a burst of inhuman speed as his foes rush towards the ledge, he'd pull his hands across as if opening a door and shout. "APARTURUM!" In moments, a glowing portal into some strangely twisted funhouse version of the lab would open up, cold rushing forth from it as the thing covers the area his foes are moving towards. With any luck at least one will rush in, if not, at least they'll be diverted and have to move away as Dresden begins running back from the portal. After all, he can close it just fine at range if needed. "Geez, the ole portal trick is getting a workout lately... If that doesn't work though, gonna need to come up with a better idea for this that doesn't involve burning the place down. Maybe I could bribe them, yeah that'll go frigging great."
Raiden's clone would successfully catch the flame esper unawares, paralyzing him like the guards from before. The other one who was holding its arms up would quickly take its attention from Alex and throw both of their arms at the clone causing the air around it to vibrate, condense, and let out a muffled explosion that destroyed it. The one in front of Alex that was shooting electricity at him couldn't see through the cloud Alex produced so he simply continued to bombard the area in front of him in lightning strikes. The one that was using his electricity as footholds was unable to move out of the way of the portal in time and flew right into it. As soon as he realized it he would attempt to come back through the portal if Harry didn't close it soon. The other one who leaped across used wind seemed to have created another foothold of wind, jumping over the portal in a front flip as wind concentrated at his heel and the moment he land his heel on the ground like a kick as a small tornado shot out towards Harry. Right afterwards he would jump into the air once more throwing his arms out away from his body as you saw the wind around him distort for a few moments. You may not know what he did but you knew it was dangerous. Anya would jump onto Kushala's back and instruct her to go to the far door to get to the train area. As she hopped onto Kushala's back the wind barrier completely disappeared as you saw three new espers present. All of which seemed to be working together to neutralize the winds. "Just go straight through them. If you don't mind a little tingling in your back then my electricity should be enough to handle them." Anya told Kushala. If Kushala did as told then as she flew towards the door Anya would let out lightning strikes that seemed to shoot out from her hair that would strike the espers before they could react. Bringing them through the door and around a large group of workers and guards that stared at them for a while, unable to grasp the situation. Raiden would be able to see the commotion from Kushala's and Anya's sudden appearance down from him, giving him the distraction he need to get to the train or to take the assistant director. He would only have enough time to do one or the other. "Please tell me you've already taken control of the train Raiden." Anya whispered into the walkie talkie in a almost pleading tone
"Instaurabos." As the man inside rushes out, the portal closes in an instant. God only knows what he'll find in the realm of Fae, but it's not Harry's issue now. The one tossing wind around however is worrying. "Hey Stormy, maybe you'd prefer to just calm down and stop fighting!? Ice and Wind!" A chill wind begins rushing through the area, any attempts by the Esper to control it would fall short even as it rushes straight towards him, tiny daggers of ice forming inside the wind and flying towards his arms and legs.
Kushaka looked at Anya for an instant before looking again at the guards. "Electricity... it hurts... but I won't let then capture me, I prefer to die before that happens! Go Anya! I'll handle the pain. Kushala will do as Anya said, she will fly directly to the guards as the ancient dragon she is. "I'm starting to hate those guards... maybe I need to find a way to be more resistant to their influence... I'll ask then later, for now I have to do this!
Raiden simply sighed. There was no way to get the assistant director and the train. In the decision made at the moment, Raiden made his way to the train in an attempt to capture it. Anya would kill if i do not take that train. Raiden pulled out his walkie talkie and said, "Yeah, just give a minute." Raiden would see if he could take the cab if there was guards he would attempt to paralyze them.
Alex, after seeing the fire end abruptly, quickly limped over through the blades, cutting himself slightly, to the flame esper, where he would attempt to drain both of them with a vampiric choke hold.
The small tornado created by the esper would hit Harry, slamming him into the wall behind him before dissipating but soon afterwards he would feel invisible blades of wind cutting into his body. The cold wind he sent out would move unimpeded and as the Esper tries to interfere with it, he fails and finds his arms and legs impaled by ice shards. The esper then clumsily calls forth some more wind to cushion his descent to the ground but practically collapses upon landfall. Finding difficulty to even stand at this point he would look up to Harry and begin collecting more wind in front of him. Alex would successfully get close enough before one of the two notices, grabbing the paralyzed man on the ground and siphoning his health. To Alex's surprise, like before, the amount of energy he could drain was small. The other one who destroyed the Raiden clone immediately brought her attention back to Alex, forming her hand into a fist and swinging it. A muffled explosion would ring out as Alex would feel himself be hit by a blunt object from the side. Though the blow would most likely knock the young boy unconscious, if he is still able to somehow remain awake he would feel a splitting headache, his sense of balance would be off and his vision would be blurred. Raiden would have no problem paralyzing most of the guards on the train since they were all normal humans. All of the ones with power were running around trying to handle his companions throughout the area and since he was taking them out before they had a chance to alert anyone then things were moving very smoothly for him. He would make it to a train car that had a bar inside. A single man in a suit was behind the counter cleaning a glass. On a sofa that ran across the right side of the wall was a little girl with handcuffs on that seemed to be asleep. Next to her was a woman wearing a high ranking soldiers uniforms with numerous medals on her breast. The woman had a scar on her face that cover the left side of her mouth that revealed her teeth. A cigar in her mouth that released smoke through the open scar. Her long blonde hair trailed down her back in a ponytail as she turned her attention to Raiden. At first she spoke German but upon realizing Raiden probably didn't know what she was saying she sighed and began to speak english. "I assume you're the cause of all this noise. Tell me, what country holds your leash?" She would ask, no tension in her voice, as if Raiden himself couldn't even be considered a threat. Soon after that Raiden would lose contact with the clone he left at the observation deck. It seems as though its been found out. Kushala would notice they made it to the train and currently they were being stared at by the numerous dock workers and other lab workers as well. It seemed they were confused about her sudden appearance. The red haired woman from before would look back and see Kushala but her eyes would land on Anya. "Anya....Melrose? Shit. That means the embassy is involved in this." She cursed under her breath as before rushing onto the train. Kushala would see more guards headed her way from the far door but none of them had the glazed look in their eyes as the ones she fought that have power. Just from that she could tell they were regular humans. Anya jumped off of Kushala's back as she slowly walked towards the guards. Harry and Alex would hear Anya's voice over the walkie talkies asking for a status report.
Harry groans out as he slams into the wall, shooting his foe a cocky smile and pushing himself after a few seconds. "Ouch Stormy, you're a tough crowd man but hey hopefully you like my next magic trick! Ventas-Defendarius!" His staff swirls around and wind leaps to his defense, forming a barrier around himself that would slow and divert any other wind sent to Harry as the man rushes forward with a predatory gleam in his eyes. "Now, this one should be lights out!" He slams his staff down, hoping to bash it straight into the downed man's skull and if not kill at least knock out and leave him concussed. With any luck, he'll be able to turn his sights on the next ones shortly.
Raiden tapped his monocle a few times, before confirming all his clones were gone. Well, there goes that. Around Raiden feet came circuit wires, barely a centimeter thick, that just blended in the ground, going around the room. They didn't do much and don't even shock you. Raiden simply walk over to her, took off his top hat and bowed. "My name is Raiden, Floudre Magican himself. I'm part of a place you're probably really familiar, seeing all these espers here. But before I go on, may I ask for your name? You don't seem like the average grunt here." Raiden said softly.
Kushala looked at the woman, she was a bit angry for the electricty from before, but she knows she must remain calm. Anya, I think we must capture that woman because she knows something, I'm going after her in order to capture her. Kushala first will spit out a wind ball towards the guards and later she will fly towards the woman, trying to get her before she reaches the door, or follow her if she has already use it. *I'm sure this won't be easy... Maybe she has more toys or tramps, I'll follow her but I'll be carefull.*

"Oh cra-" Alex never finished his phrase because he was knocked out.
When Raiden bowed he would spy at her waist a hand gun and a old military sword that seemed similar to a rapier laying next to her on the opposite side. The woman would look at Raiden with her arms crossed and one leg crossed over the other. "Raiden, The Floudre Magician. Abilities are vague but is believed to be able to manipulate electricity and to some extent is able to use molecular magnetism to form constructs from matter. Disciple of Grand. No affiliation to any country. I wonder what reason you would have in being in a place like this. Also." The moment she finished speaking a Raiden would feel a pressure on him that practically paralyzed his movements. Her eyes were glaring at him as if he was simply prey to be hunted. As every fiber in Raidens body told him to run her next words would send a chill down his spine. "I advise you stop whatever it is you're doing unless you wish your head removed from your shoulders." she would say, a blood lust that didn't feel like it should belong to a human being. Raiden would be able to tell just how dangerous this woman was. The pressure suddenly lifted as she gestured to a seat at the bar. "Instead of dying like a useless sow, your life would be better spent with a drink and small talk. Now, why would someone like you be here?" Alex would fall onto the ground and the cloud of knives would disappear. The electric type esper would walk towards him, numerous cuts all over his body from the knives and even a few knives still stuck in his body. He would rip them out and hold one over Alexs head. As he brought the blade down he suddenly stopped as he responded. "Understood. Target will be retrieved alive." he dropped the knife as he picked up Alex, bringing him to the back room where he emerged from before. The other esper he knocked Alex out would begin running towards the chasm outside the hall as she stopped in front of it. She simply stared at Harry as it seemed she had no way of crossing and no idea how to do so. The wind esper would try to move but the wounds he had dulled his ability to dodge, causing him to take a direct hit in the head from Harry, effectively putting an end to his life. Harry would see Alex brought to the back room before the door closed behind them and the other one standing across from the chasm just staring at him. Seemingly taking no actions. The red haired woman would make it onto the train as Kushala followed. Even as some guards would get in her way they would fall after being hit by Anya's electricity. "I don't know how much longer we can hold out like this. I still haven't heard anything from Harry and Alex. If you can't capture that woman then prioritize supporting Raiden. If we can't take this train then we're doomed here." Anya yelled out to Kushala. As she Kushala followed the woman onto the train she would find herself in a relatively dark train car. It seemed to be filled with machines that line the wall. Some of which seemed to be almost human shaped with weapons attached like turrets or cannons. "It is exactly because of shit like this why these labs exist. People like you popping up all over the place like weeds with strange abilities wreaking havoc. How many lives will be lost until you're satisfied?" the womans voice would echo in the train car. Because of the echoes you wouldn't be able to tell where exactly she was and with the small space you wouldn't be able to use your wings to conjure any wind.
I won't be able to fly, I still can use my mouth, but I must be carefull, where is that woman? Calm down Kushala, you have good hears... just focus...* Kushala focused in the voice and the echoes... she kinda has the position of the woman, but she has a bad feeling about her... People? I'm a dragon, and you know why I'm here... I'm going to find that Radja woman again, and I'll ask her about an old memory I have in the depths of my mind. I'm actually not satisfied for kill, I kill when my life is in danger, i've been provoked or I have to hunt. Let me say you can do two things, tell me about Radja and that man called Jason and I'll think about let you leave, or fight me, but if you fight me... you will see the fury of an ancient dragon. The decision is yours.
He doesn't have time for this crap right now, and leaps straight through the air with a shout of Parkour, running along the wall for a moment to reach the other side as holy light burns inside his soul. "Laqueus!" A shimmering rope of glowing light rushes from his staff towards the Esper, it would resist any attempts to destroy it and aim to bind itself around Harry's foe. Bits of the spell splitting off to try and jab at his eye, poke into his ears, and even rush up his nose and mouth. Harry just keeps on running for the door as his rope does it's work, and assuming he makes it through the man would toss an ice spell to freeze it shut before reporting to Anya again as he runs after the man that took Alex. "Alright, i'm alive but wearing down. Alex got knocked out, I'm trying to get him back from which point I'll extract the two of us without the train. I really hope you guys have a plan that doesn't involve us, because the kid needs medical help, over."
Raiden was silent. "Gladly." He said bluntly to her question. He knew full well that she was dangerous. It wasn't if he could win a fight, it was if he could avoid a fight. Raiden sat down next to her calmly at the bar. He was good in keeping a façade of confidence in danger, however whether it was true or not is anyone's guess. I need to get out, best not anger her. "I'll here to witness the fine points in history first hand, not to read but create it. If you're asking about here, then I would say it's an accidental mistake. Something along the lines of, not here to find this, but it lead to this." Raiden exhaled slowly. Is that how people feel when i paralyze them? I feel terrible now. Oh well. "You seem to know a lot about me, why and how? I'm not the most well know of people." Raiden made note of the badges. "And who do I have the pleasure of drinking with?"
"It's my job to know of every person that wanders onto our little earth with some strange ability. Well, you people have a very special name for this world. The Nexus I believe." smoke would shoot out from between the exposed teeth on the side of her face as she takes a puff from the cigar. "Monsters and gods. Demons and super humans. Like weeds, you keep popping up and us humans, we who try to live each day in relative peace have no choice but to die by your whims. Don't you think that is tragic?" more smoke came out as she pulled the cigar from her mouth and put it out on the nearby ash tray. "Tell me, Now that you've seen this facility what are your thoughts? Do you think it cruel or evil?" She would say finally turning to you, staring directly into your eyes. As if she was searching your very soul you knew you couldn't lie to her. The bar tender placed a glass of alcohol in front of you and her. The glass seemed to be made of crystal and was half full of a fragrant yet husky brew. Kushala would hear the woman's voice echo again as she replied. "This is exactly what I'm talking about. I don't know who those people are. This Radja or Jason yet you waltz in damaging our equipment and try to make us seem at fault. You're nothing but an overgrown lizard with power yet you hold the right to whether I live or die? Ridiculous! I do what is necessary to protect our assets and if that means making a few sacrifices then so be it." So after hearing that one of the machines against the wall walked out, aiming its barrel at Kushala as it began to spin. Only a few seconds later before it let loose a hail of anti tank bullets. All Kushala would have the time to do is either jump back out of the train car or hide behind one of the metal crates near her. The rope of magic that Harry creates would shoot towards the Esper and as it collided with a invisible wall, it would only be slowed as it moves through the hardened space and reaches its target. Wrapping around the esper, all they could do is struggle in vain. Harry would successfully make it through the door, freezing it behind him as he was back in the hallway with the children. "Extract? You know another way out?" She would sigh over the walkie takie "alright, I'll trust that you can do that. I'm getting bogged down a little with all the guards concentrating over here anyways. Use that chance to escape and good luck." She would say before the line went silent. The door on the far side being the one Alex was taken through. As he came to the door he would realize it had already been locked barring access any further. He would then hear and old, raspy male voice over the intercom in the hall. "You people are truly very fascinating specimens but I would rather not be disturbed if it can be helped. Is there no way you can turn a blind eye and pretend you saw nothing? In exchange you may take the children within this nursery. I feel that is a fair trade, one child for the life of 43 other children." the voice would asks before you hear a few coughs and then silence, as if he was seriously waiting for an answer.
Raiden fiddle his hands. "You sure know how to put a guy on his toes..." Raiden chuckled softly. Raiden blinked and opened his eyes, having a serious expression. "In politically and defensive measures, this place is a work of art. Emotionless super soldiers, who not only have a resistance to all types of magic, but have loyalty to bot for their creators. In fact if I had the resources I would do the same. Who won't want any army of this." Raiden said in a monotone voice. "But..." Raiden looked dead in her eye as if the fear of death evades his mind. "The methods here..." Raiden thought back to the room with the blood on the floor. All the syringes scattered. "Did you every consider the feeling of those esp- people!" Tears escaped Raiden eyes as sparks flew around him, not attacking anything but more... "Do you know what it's like to not be needed, to have your existence be nothing more than an extra mouth to feed.. I know you don't care about them, they don't even have I.D.s after all..." Suddenly the sparks start to hit... Raiden. He wipes away tears. "In... short... It's cruel.. But.. If used right it can help people. So can I ask you why this place was resurrected again? Why not let it stay buried?"
Alex was beginning to awaken, but showed no sign "..."
*That thing looks strong... I should hid... no... I have to jump back... I have an idea. Kushala jumped outside and she began to fly around the train car, she first looked ahead to see if there was any obstacle and then she began to spit out strong wind balls that began to damage certain points of the train car's rooftop, leaving little holes in it. *She can do two things, or chase me or wait there, is true that we can't see each other, however, I can easily dodge anything she tries If I'm in flying, for now I'll attack from here and be carefull in case there is an obstacle ahead or she tries somehing.* Kushala kept flying around the train car, attacking it with strong wind balls that little by little was damaging the train car, abolishing it and casually creating rifts on it.
The man pauses, he's worn down and can't keep this up forever... "I'd be willing to consider that, but how do I know you aren't planning to lull me into a false sense of security before pulling something? " He wanders around the room for a moment, falling down to one knee in "exhaustion" as he passes by a hair from Alex. As he pulls himself up off the ground he'd quietly sneak it into his coat pocket. "I can't leave these kids here, but if I find out you made any attempt to reclaim them... I can't say I'll allow that to happen at all. We got a deal?"
The woman would simply laugh at what Raiden said as if it was truly funny. Even the bartender looked stunned for a few moments before he too gave a small amused smile. "I more than anyone understands what it means to not be needed, though being nothing more than an extra mouth to feed is a luxury compared to the leftover trash I once had to consume in order to survive." A chuckle still escaping from her lips making her only seem more savage "I will not bore you with sophistry so I will be blunt. The balance of power has been greatly shifting in this world, endangering humanity as a result. Why don't you use that empty brain of yours and think. A bunch of mentally insane idiots with power that no human can defeat or negotiate with drops into your front yard, what will happen. Now what if these idiots just keep popping up all around the world?" She would pause as she picked up the glass half filled with a special brew, the bartender deftly putting a straw in it as she lifted it. She drank from the straw through her exposed teeth to make sure it wouldn't spill out before she continued. "The answer is extinction or adaption. If nothing is done then humanity will continue to be driven into extinction. Laws do not apply to those who have power above them and with no one able to bring them to justice then chaos reigns supreme. The purpose of these labs you so aptly called cruel is in order to bring back a semblance of balance that has long been lost. And as for those Espers, it is simply bad luck. Considering how many people die per awakening, the public will not care if a few monsters that go bump in the night disappear." she placed the cyrstal cup back onto the bar as she looked back to Raiden with a savage smile that made her seem almost like some type of demonic wolf "Now, what will you do with this knowledge, Floudre Magician?" As Alex awakened he would realize he wasn't able to move. As his blurred vision cleared a little he would realize he was inside of some sort of capsule that restricted his movements. All of his equipment was stripped from him and on a nearby table he would see his clothes and syringes. The esper that brought him here was not too far from him. The room was dark except the light from the numerous small monitors and switched around the room. His body was heavy and he couldn't muster any strength much less keep focus very long. "Though I cannot promise what the higher ups will do after you leave, you at least have my word that I will not pursue. Whether you believe that or not is up to you" the old raspy voice respond to Harry as the doors to the nursery all began to open. "Now if you'll excuse me. My new guest requires my attention." the voice said once more before going silent. The mecha would continue to fire the turret at kushala as she flew around, however, with the small amount of room she had her movements were still limited and the ice ceiling had begun to crack and fall down as Kushala attacked the car, almost hitting her multiple times. She was being attacked from the front by a hail of bullets that could tear through her scales like paper while also being bombarded from above by pillars of ice making things exceedingly more difficult for her. "Can you not make things harder for me" Anya's voice could be heard on the ground as she shot spears of electricity at the Ice pillars that came close to her while still fighting off the guards in hand to hand combat.
*As i thought, I knew that bullets would easily kill me, I'm running out of time, wait... she is in that suit... maybe she is not strong enough to really move at all with that... if I break... ... ... ... Is all or nothing, I have to do it... I'm sorry human, i'm sure we could have talked this, but now I must do this if i want to interrogate you, let's do this human, I'll discover the meaning of that memory!* Kushala began to fly around the train, he attacked the train one time more and she suddenly changed her way to move. She flew a bit up and screamed to the air as she gets surrounded with strong black winds, she then began to fly towards the train while dodging the posible bullets that could come from it. If she manages to reach the train car, she will push it with out of the tracks.
Raiden looked in his reflection in the glass he got. I'm I on the wrong side? Then why have i been fighting for? A place in history? I.... Raiden closed his eyes. If What she's saying is wrong, then there's has to be a flaw some where in the information i got. Maybe... Just then he (And probably everyone in there too) was hit by a shaking caused by the recoil from Kushala attack. What's going on! "If you'll let me, I'm going to make a ph- a call." Raiden said taking out his walkie talkie and spoke to Anya, if the General allowed him. "Yeah, what's going on over there? I was about to finish a philosophical decision with some one! Can you patch me over to Kushala, I gotta tell her not blow anything up yet." Raiden also at this time moved the circuits he planted to protect the main carts on the top creating a kind of done around it and then he turned to the General. "Before you decide to shot me or stab me, let me say that I still need this train as much as you do. So if you can spare me a few moments and may be calling off the guards this whole situation can be dealt with."
"..oh fuck, I'm naked." Alex muttered to himself, "And this." Alex readied himself for what came next.
The entire train began to tremble as the female general looked around. Raiden immediately moved into action but when he suddenly turned to her and spoke she merely laughed as she rose from her seat. "You seem like an intelligent young man so I'll allow you to do as you please for now." A cruel smile formed on her face "But I can't say the same about your friends." The bartender pressed a button under the bar and the displays on the wall turned on showing what was happening right outside the train. "Can't say I've ever killed a dragon before. The black box if you will." she said to the bartender The bartender put down the cup he was now cleaning as he reached under his par and pulled out a strange metal object. It seemed to be a box about a meter or so long that was a foot wide and a foot thick. He handed the box to the general as she grabbed the belt attached to it for carrying purposes. She took the sheathed rapier like sword at her side and slid it into a slow in the middle as lines of light ran down the box almost like it was activating. "Tell my rabid mutts to stay for now. If our property continues to sustain damage then they're allowed to bare their fangs." she said as she walked out the train car and began to walk down to where Kushala was. The bartender walked over to one of the machines with beer in it and he pulled down one of the unmarked levers. In conjunction with him moving the unmarked lever panels across the train folded out and began to glow. As they glowed the air around the train began to vibrate. Kushala would slam into the side of the train but find herself hitting an invisible wall. She would be able to break through the invisible wall and slam into the train but the wall weakened her attack. The train shook and the train car she hit began to tilt over slightly but dropped back onto the tracks. The wall was no longer present however and the panels all folded back in. "That barrier only has enough power to be used once. If you plan to stop them before the general gets involved I suggest you hurry." the bartender said to Raiden as he walked back over to the counter and pulled a phone from under it relaying the message the general told him to tell her unit. The doors to the nurseries the children were inside of stood open. The kids all looked on, seeming to be frightened of leaving the room and even more frightened of Harry as they saw him. One child would rush forward to Harry as she punched him in his stomach. Her punch itself didn't have very much power behind it but soon her hand began to vibrate and Harry could feel himself feeling nauseous. "Hurry up and run! The young boy said to the other kids as he kept contact with Harry "If you all work together we can escape!" The other kids seemed frightened until some began to move towards the door slowly, seeming to want to do as the said. It was obvious the children believed Harry too was one of the scientists.
Alex would see an older man move over the capsule Alex was inside of. He had brown hair that was graying on the sides with bags under his eyes and an unhealthy looking constitution. He looked over the capsule. "Vitals are normal. Hormonal levels normal. Brain activity....a little more active than it should be if he was unconscious." the man looked at the glass panel allowing him to look into the capsule "Which means you're currently awake at present. It is nice to meet you. I can see us having a very fruitful relationship in the coming future. Magic is a concept that has eluded man for countless centuries after all. I'm sure your body has much to teach." he would say as he began coughing and then pulled out some medicine from his jacket, swallowing it in one go and then pressing a button on the capsule. Gas would begin to feel the capsule as Alex would once again begin to feel his consciousness slipping. The last thing he would see would be the man walking over to an operation table as he started up some of the machines in the room before his vision turned black.
*I not longer feel that invisible thing around, probably I should strike again... but... for an instant I've felt something... is like if an extreme danger was comming to me... I should hurry and destroy this train car, but a I'll be carefull.* Kushala flew back, she prepared again and charged towards the train once more, she was still on guard, so if there were a danger in the way she would try to dodge it.
Raiden takes this all in and closes his eyes. All he had to do was... FOCUS The General is threat all on her own, so taking her out with the train could work, however that will only buy time not a solution. Even if i start the train now, I'll be alone with The General and i don't think my charm will do much. If only this train wasn't so big. Big... Like many ideas before it was stupid enough to work. Raiden pulls out his walkie talkie to talk to Anya. "How long will it take you to get in the train? Just anywhere in the first three carts." Raiden also talked to Kushala. "A general is coming for you, she has a scar, you can't miss her. Don't waste time attaching it there's a barrier, instead..." Raiden grins. "I want you to slam the train forward." Only if Anya could get on time, Raiden would only tell Kushala about the General and her weapon. Raiden walked towards the next cart leading the engine room. Before that he would break the coupling that connects the two carts together. He made his way slowly there and if all goes well he gets in the cab."
Raiden would be looking at the decoupling rings between the carts and realize he didn't know too much about it. It was different from the ones you would normally find on a train. Right then the door slid open and a woman with boyishly short wild hair stood their. "Hey Beth! Got anything to snack on!" She yelled to the bartender. The bartender sighed before replying "I told you not to call me that Miss Bertalt." Her attention was already away from the bartender as she noticed Raiden. She then bent down, sitting on her heels, as she looked at the decoupling device before them. Before Raiden even had time to ask what she was doing she had begun to show him how to use it. The small emergency release as well as the belts and small buttons that lined the side of a switch. Behind her you would see others in the train cart. Two sitting on seats against a wall, three at a table playing cards, and one sitting in a chair playing a handheld, all of which were in some variation of the military uniform the general wore and all with a unknown coat of arms located on different parts of the uniform. "Oi, what the hell are you doing showing the kid how to do that!?" a blonde, muscular man sitting against the wall called out to the woman. "Aren't we supposed to be stopping them from doing that?" a woman with long black hair and a missing right arm commented from the table where they were playing cards. "Shattup!" she hissed back at them "I'm bored and if this guy decouples the train car it'll give me an excuse to fight him." "Muscle brained idiot." said the young purple haired boy sitting in the chair with the handheld "Bite me!" she retorted with a middle finger "Afraid to catch a disease." the boy responded without looking up from the game "300 euro sees that kid actually decouples the train." a man with an eye patch said from the table with the cards. "He'd have to be a complete idiot to try that....400 euro says he dies within 5 minutes when he does." another man with half his head shaven and the other half falling down to his collar said as he moved his wheelchair back a little to get a good look at Raiden The other one sitting against the wall with long green hair that fell down to her knees stood up while blowing a bubble with some gun and jumped over the two as she continued to walk down towards the train car door the general walked through earlier. "Stop train...tip over...bad." she said in a short few words as the rest of the ones in the train car looked at Raiden waiting for him to make his choice. The one sitting down showing him how to decouple it with a wide smile on her face as if she might have found something to curb her boredom. From all the damage Kushala caused to the train car the mecha trained it's barrels at Kushala through the holes that were caused, being careful not to harm the other mecha suits as they spun to life and a hail of anti tank bullets ripped through the air towards Kushala once more as charged forward. "It won't take long at all to get on the train. Don't know how long it is so I don't know how long it will take me to get to the first three trains but I'm on my way." Anya said as she stomped on the ground and electricity pulsed through the floor of the entire loading dock and paralyzing everyone on it. She would take a few seconds to catch her breath before she started running towards the train car and doing her best to be mindful of any stray bullets that might come her way. Being hit by an anti tank round would do more than just rip a hole through her body. Kushala would soon feel the looming dread of a predator approaching.
Raiden made careful note of the coupling writing it down in his notebook. "It's been fun, but atlas I must leave. If it was any other situations then I would be introduced as a new member, slowly warming up to each of you thorough various missions as we fight whatever underground organization." Raiden backflipped to the top oh the train while waving good Bye. He pulled out his walkie talkie and spoke to Anya. "Change of plans, stay put or make you way to Kushala." Raiden would be patch over to Kushala making the plan, warning both of The General. Meanwhile Raiden shocking his legs ran backward to the back of the train making sure not to break anythung. Let's see how is her commitment. If not disturbed Raiden would see the cab with Mechas and with the barrier in front of the first three cab disperse and moving under Raiden, he would take half to attempt to cover the holes. In it goes well or not, Raiden would hopehukly male it up the back and begin a constriction of some sort.
Kushala's survival instinct got triggered, she noticed something like if a Nergigante were flying towards her... a bad feeling... a feeling of an incomming death... *I have to leave, sorry Anya, but I can't die* Kushala used the speed to turn away and she began to fly towards the back of the train, she began to charge her wind in case she needs it, she also was ready to pick up Anya if she appears. *I'll see if I can pick Anya during the way* Kushala talked to the walkie at her back. Anya, I'll pick you up and we will leave this place, I have a bad feeling about this, we have to leave now!
Hi guys, if you don't mind I'll bump the thread. Have a good day.
The woman showing Raiden how to separate the train cars jumped up onto the train after him. She wouldn't say anything or get in his way, simply following out of curiosity as she intertwined her fingers behind her head and jogged after him. "What do you mean change of plans? And who is this General woman you're tal-" Before she could finish a pulse of electrical energy burst forth from her body as gunfire could be heard. The pulse stopped the bullets in the air only a couple inches away from her face as she saw three holes in the 3 inch thick steel door of the train car. Immediately, electricity shot out of her body to the door at the far end of the train as her body was quickly flung backwards towards it with magnetism. At the same time she did this the door in front of her was cut open and the general leaped into the car, only barely missing Anya's neck. "Hoh~. An electromaster esper huh. And not just any but the illustrious Anya Melrose as well. Now I understand why the weak little pups outside were having so much trouble. I guess this is a better time than ever to test the prototype black box." The General said with a savage smile on her face. "Yeah, I think I just met that general you were talking about." Anya said over the walkie talkie Raiden would be able to hear the commotion caused by Anya being attacked by the general a few cars behind him. The mecha that was in the car would lightly jump up and boosters in its back and feet would push it up just high enough to land atop the car. The barrels for the turrets installed in the arms began to spin once more as they aimed towards Kushala's back. Raiden would see this from where he was standing and the girl following him would simply whistle at everything that was happening in front of her. "This really seems like fun." she smiled cheerfully with no tension yet still did nothing to stop anything.
Raiden placed down a large CPU box on the ground after poking around inside of it. He turned to the girl who followed him. "Give me a little space, will ya?" Raiden rubbed his hands together and lifted them up to the sky, small formed around. In the middle of his hand was a bird, then I got bigger, and bigger, and bigger... Soon it was about 37 feet tall, flying above him. It look kinda familiar. "Go forth, Kushala!" The electric Kushala made it's way to where his teammates were, awaiting for the next part of the plan. At the same time his sent a circuit through his body, jumping around him, in case of a immediate fight.
Kushala felt something comming... if it was what she was expecting it was it could be perfect, now... she has to continue with the plan. Kushala surrounded herself with a storng wind barrier, she dodged the bullets just in the right moment to let the winds redirect them to the general. With that done Kushala quckly turned to Anya and prepared herself. Please, don't hate me for this. Kushala then devoured Anya without chewing, after that she looked at the ice ceilling for a moment before raising her wings. She then flapped them while beginning to fly and spinning in the air in order to create a tornado that was conected to the ceilling, it was breaking small parts of ice, some of them flew around the tornado but others flew directly to both the general and the woman as it began to turn the tornado more and more white due to the ice the tornado was catching. Kushala remained in the air, ready to charge her winds in order to unleash another powerfull and stronger tornado.
"Hey Boss! Incoming!" the woman following Raiden yelled out towards the location she heard her boss enter into with Anya. As soon as she heard that the General leaped back into the train car she had just left from, narrowly avoiding the bullets Kushala reflected towards her. Soon the train car shook as the top was torn open by Kushala's claws whom then looked down on Anya and immediately jerked her head forward towards Anya. Anya, in her surprise, let loose a wave of electromagentic energy that surged through Kushala's body. It didn't hurt her, in fact it just gave her a tingling feeling that ran through her entire body, but Kushala would find herself immobile as her scales felt as if they were holding her in place. "D-Did you just try to eat me?!" Anya exclaimed in bewilderment. Laughter resounded in the train car as Anya turned her attention back to the general. "You two have quite the endearing relationship it seems" A smile on her face that sent chills down the spine. She then charged forward towards Anya and Kushala with a sword hilt with no blade. Anya looked between the woman and Kushala and her power intensified as Kushala felt her body being thrown back into the ice wall outside. Immediately after the a spear of electricity shot out of her bang towards the general whom immediately put the sword hilt to the black box at her hip, pulling out a blade with electricity running across it's surface. She slashed the blade at the lightning spear, seemingly absorbing and upon seeing this Anya knelt down onto the ground as electricity burst forth like before, this time ripping the steel door behind her out of the frame and throwing it at the general. The dragon Raiden made almost collided with Kushala as she was thrown out but avoided her as it hovered above the train car Anya was fighting the general in awaiting for commands. The mech that was atop the partially destroyed car turned its attention to the source of the the dragon imitation as it readied it's barrels once more. "Uh, hey. I'm here too y'know." the woman with Raiden waved to the mech but was ignored "This is kind of bad right?" she said with a wry smile
Raiden turned to the girl. "Not yet, but it's close. What's your name and why are you following me?" While Raiden asked this, he motion his hand around and shot the current of the circuit to the dragon. When It got hit, it would spilt in half for the bullets or it there was time, growl a shock wave at the mecha, hopefully making it fall over. "I need to help them, so I'm going to politely ask you to leave, while I go try something. Si'vous plate? Et Merci." Raiden walks forward to them.
Kushala strongly flapped her wings to avoid the incomming spear, she then flew towards the other Kushala and the both began to fly synchronously, they ended up creating a colossal tornado that was very strong, three times stronger than the last one. Anya and the other allies were protected by a wind barrier, so they weren't affected by the strong winds and the ice fargments. Anya, we must resist, soon I will take us from here! And don't think bad! I want to protect you! I swear I don't like humans that way! I must protect you! Atleast... jump on my back! Kushala lowered her wing to let Anya jump over her.
The girl following Raiden would smile while waging her finger back and forth. "Nuh-uh. No names on the first date. You'd have to beat me first though it looks like you already have your hands full. Don't mind me. I'll just be watching over here." she said, taking a few steps back to get out of range of anything that was aimed at Raiden. The circuit dragon received the command from Raiden and sent a shockwave towards the mecha. The shockwave would not knock over the mecha but it did cause it to lean from the force and the hail of bullets that were let loose veered off course, at first only barely missing before hitting the ceiling and causing pillars of ice to fall towards Raiden and the girl. The girl clicked her tongue as she saw this but before either of them had the time to react, Kushala's small tornado shielded the group. The General deftly slid under the steel door thrown at her with her blades pointed towards Anya's legs. Anya didn't have much time to think of anything as she still considered Kushala to be a possible threat but in the end electricity shot from her body and hit Kushala. Like before it didn't harm her but she felt as tingling sensation in the scales that were hit as Anya was quickly flung to Kushala's underbelly, standing there upside down while being magnetized. "Don't even think of trying to eat me again." She said to Kushala as she pulled out a small metal marble from her coat pocket. "I advise you get us out of here soon. That woman...." Anya glared down at the smiling general "she's used to fighting my kind. Way too dangerous." "Come now Miss Melrose. We were just getting to the good part." the general said as she placed the sword blade back into the slot of the black box on her waist. She then held up the black box as panels on the side lifted up and leaned forward. The bottom of the box slid open revealing the tips of the multiple blades with other parts moving into place before energy began to collect at the end. She aimed it at Anya and Kushala without giving much warning. "Is she insane?!" Anya yelled out as she saw the attack charging.
Raiden pouts. "Fine then. But with the way you're acting, I'm not expecting a second date." Raiden wag his finger. The electric Kushala resumed it's first command and began to spilt, halfing it's size and landing between his allies and the General. The other half circled around the General from above, it's body shaking and morphing, however not complete, as if waiting for something. "Though I will say this: you might want to stand back now. Little farther. Don't know what this thing will do."
Knowing that Anya was with her, Kushala was able to continue with the plan. As I said earlier I just wanted to protect you! Kushala's survival instinct also got triggered, she knew only bad things could come from that thing, she quickly spat out a wind ball to the general's legs and jumped away the train in order to began to fly to the back of it, looking for Raiden to get him with her and leave that train. However she was still ready to dodge anytime, and since she was flying now, it was vey easier gor her to move away from a posible threat.
From behind the green haired girl heading towards that train car was slowly walking towards the general. She would see the wind ball sent to hit the general and with a simple wave of her hand tendrils of ice shot out from the outside walls, crashing through the windows of the train car and blocking the wind ball. Only moments after that the tendrils moved in a way as if they were tentacles and twisted in front of the general like a cannon barrel aimed at the group. The general simply smiled as she pulled the trigger on the hilt of the box and the energy suddenly condensed in front of the opening at the end when suddenly that energy began to crackle and and become unstable until finally dispersing. The general lowered the black box and looked at it. "Hoh~, It couldn't handle that feature huh? Was it the energy consumption or the stabilizers? Well, either way I'm sure this will be enough battle data for R&D to make some adjustments. I can't wait until this toy is completed." She said while staring at it inquisitively like a child holding onto a new toy. "Want me to stop them from escaping boss?" the green haired girl asked as she blew more bubbles, a slight tilt of her head causing the tendrils of ice to recede from the train car and aim at Kushala. The general would look back up at the retreating dragon as well as the dragon imitation dragon that stood between the group. Her gaze would fall onto Raiden. "Floudre Magician, will you not join us in our plight? Your skills would be of better use with us. At the very least you'll make a much bigger difference than playing at the hero who can only half ass save the people right in front of you." She said to him with arms spread wide The mecha would begin to stand back up straight as it stared at the tornado barrier that shielded it's view of the others. Just as Kushala flew out of the tornado towards the end of the train it would begin to spin its barrels once more, aiming at Kushala's underbelly. From her underbelly Anya would drop down, heading straight for the mech as electricity began to spark off of her body. Like before, she magnetized herself and shot towards the mech with both fists raised above her head. "Stay out of our way!" she exclaimed as she brought down her fist atop the mechas upper body. Lighting flashed as it slammed into the mecha with enough force to cause it to fall through the room of the train. The mecha no longer moved as electricity arced over its metallic body. Anya wouldn't stay for long as she shot back up into the sky, landing on Kushala's underbelly once more. "Okay. So what's the plan on getting out of here?" she would ask hoping someone would be able to give her an answer
"..." Raiden straighten up his back. "It's this." Raiden walks forward to The General and stands in front of her and the girl. Landing on either side of Raiden was the electric Kushala. Why am I doing this? Dresden left a while ago for us to die, whether or not if he meant to. Liang set me on fire and i was sad. But... Raiden looks over at Kushala and Anya. "I would like to bargain: The offer. If I come with you, will you release all my allies and grant them freedom to leave here. I don't think you care about the knowledge they possess, you were willing to let me go with knowing more than them. I would also like the boy named Alex to get set free. Those are my conditions." Raiden looks at The General with a humanish smile.
Kushala decided to not do anything, if she feels she is going to be attacked she would act as she considers necessary, probably is the best idea to not say anything now. Kushala will relax herself just a bit to show that she won't move if she is not in danger. "This is not what we talked about before, however, if this is what he feels he must do I will let him do it"
Laughter once more left the general's mouth. "Presumptuous aren't we, Floudre Magician. Even when things have come this far you believe you have the right to negotiate. You intrigue me more and more." she said as she walked over to him, stopping only a few inches away from him "But don't think I haven't noticed it. The smell of fear that exudes your every pore. Your brain that is running ten times harder to find a way out of this. You know it just as well as I do that if I so wished it, you and your overgrown lizard would be long dead." She would place a hand on his shoulder as she leaned in to speak directly into his ear. "And you understand on an instinctual level that only death awaits you yet you still have the gall to come to a compromise. Most in your position would be happy in only knowing their own lives will be spared, not giving even a second thought to others yet here you are. Staring into the face of death itself to assure the continued existence of your comrades." Her grip tightened on his shoulder as he could feel her fingers digging deep into his flesh, threatening to rip through. Her voice was unnaturally calm, as if simply stating the obvious, yet remained just as grim as the situation. Raiden could practically feel the cold sickle of death against his neck. "However, that is exactly why I want you, Raiden Genesis." she said with a smile as she slowly moved a step away from him "I will let your friends go in commemoration of your joining. However I don't know anything about this Alex person you're speaking of. Whether he was one of the ones you came here with or came to save, I don't know. Whether you believe me or not is your decision. Now then, what will your choice be?" "I can't say I'm liking where this is going. Is this really what you want Raiden?" Anya asked, still trying to analyze the situation as a whole. The green haired girl standing next to the general never once took her eyes off of Kushala and Anya while the the girl with boyishly short hair that was following Raiden earlier was looking down into the train from the roof and simply staring at the whole thing like it was just entertainment.
Raiden stand quietly as he reached into his satchel as handing the contents to the dragon on his right. The dragon turn around and gave them to Anya. "These are the things I gathered here, while investigating. Use them well." Said Raiden without answering the question. Raiden pulls forward his bleeding arm for a shake. "We have a deal, then?" Raiden's sweat flows down his calm façade.

While Kushala was looking at the escene she felt that the General is someone that knows a lot, probably she knows something about the woman Kushala is looking for. Excuse me, I would like to know, do you know a strange woman called Radja? I'm looking for her. Kushala said in a relaxed tone, despite what has happened and how her survival instinct was triggered, she decided to ask it. I know is strange because she just appeared and disappeared after talking with me... I want to ask her a few things. I've done my best to post, I going to my next class now so sorry if it hard to understand.
The general gave Raiden a firm hand shake before hearing Kushala's question and raising a brow to the dragon. "Radja? Sorry, no info on anyone like that" she shrugged before looking back at the green haired girl standing behind her "You can show our guest out now." The green haired girl nodded and before the others even had a chance to reply, tendrils of ice shot up from the ground and wrapped around Kushala, dragging her and Anya up to the ceiling of ice. The ceiling suddenly opened up, letting them through and closing soon after as if the ceiling had swallowed them. Kushala and Anya would be wrapped in darkness and unable to move because of the tendrils before soon their senses were flooded with light. When they regained their senses they would realize they were above ground and the tendrils that were wrapped around the two would crack and shatter. "What the....that green haired girl. We were nearly two miles underground and yet. If they really wanted to that girl alone could have probably killed us. I never even heard of an esper that could do that." She would sigh as she looked down to the journals in her hand "Raiden, I hope you'll okay." Soon after her eyes widened as she looked to her side and tried to move. Immediately after, her body flung backwards into the snow. It wouldn't take more than a few seconds before Kushala would see the snow under her begin to turn red. A fresh bullet hole could be seen in her chest. She was unconscious but still breathing, even if only barely. Kushala could see a small town nearby a few miles away from her. On a snow top hill a few kilometers away was a man laying under a white blanket that blended in with the snow. He was looking through the scope of his sniper rifle as he clicked his tongue. "Man, what a monster. Three shots and she was able to react to two of them even from this range. Well, as much as I want to try again to make sure she's dead it would just give away my position. Guess I'll pack and leave for now." he said as he yawned and then spoke into a transmitter in his ear. "Target taken down. Unsure of status. Requesting permission to Withdraw." he waited a few seconds before hearing a response and then continue "Withdrawing now." The man would get off the snow hill, walking away and disappearing in the large expanse of white before him.
"Permission granted" the general spoke through the transmitter before looking back to Raiden. She bade he follow as she walked back towards the front train cars. She stopped in the train car with the bar and the bartender and grabbed a phone off the wall. "Start the train. Take us down route C so the cargo can be dropped off. And begin the makeshift self repair system." she spoke into the phone She then sat on the sofa that ran across the wall where the young teenage girl was still sleeping. The bartender passed the green haired girl a glass of milk as he thanked her for the work today and and continued to clean the glass in his hand. "Raiden Genesis. After we return to base you will officially be apart of my unit, Black Hounds. Know that I will be putting you to work soon after arrival so don't get too comfortable. If there is anything you need brought to you then put in a request and if it gets approved then it'll be taken to you. Save your questions for when we arrive at base. And when this girl wakes up" she said as she looked down at the pale white skin of the handcuffed girl laying next to her "try to be nice to her." "We should be arriving at the drop off point in four hours. Then straight back to HQ. You have permission to wander the train as long as you don't go to any of the cars before this one. You are dismissed." she said to Raiden, not seeming to want to talk anymore as she fondly looked down at the girl laying asleep. "I'm so bored" the boyishly short haired girl that followed around Raiden earlier said as she walked into the next train car where the others were. She wouldn't stop as she walked all the way to the next car with the rest of her unit. The green haired girl simply remained quiet as she drank her cup of milk, not seeming to want to be bother as she gave a few glares towards Raiden from time to time. The train soon began to shake as it began moving but soon after you wouldn't feel any of the shaking you would come to expect from a train. It moved through the tunnels smoothly and you would see the green haired girl gazing out of the windows at the ice, at times tilting her head and other times swiping her finger through the air as if she was swiping something on a Ipad. After a few more times of doing it Raiden would realize she was opening and closing tunnels that the train was going through. Finding this place through thr tunnels or even leaving through the tunnels would have been impossible without her. Whatever Raiden wanted to do right now, whether that was to simply enjoy the drinks at the bar until arrival or meet the others in the unit was completely up to him
Harry would find himself on one of the roads leading into a nearby town. The kids themselves still a little shaken from walking through the portals he made. Some were crying while some of the younger ones had even wet themselves, all the while the oldest of them, which was 14, had taken it upon himself to try and calm them all down like an older brother. He would look to Harry, still a little suspicious before speaking. "Where exactly are you taking us?" the boy said as he carried one of the children on his back. It was obvious that despite the fact Harry got them all out, they were still very wary of him. They really seemed to trust the oldest of them as they generally tended to follow him. He was probably their impromptu leader. "Adults only ever want to use us. What makes you any different old man?" he would ask with a glare. They weren't that far from the town and with any luck they might even have a embassy that could take them in. The kids however stopped following Harry as the oldest who asked the question had stopped walking, waiting for a response. Behind the boy you could see the children shivering, wearing clothes not meant for this environment but they seemed determined to understand Harry's intentions. To them, maybe freezing to death was better than going through what they had already experienced. They were espers after all and this was a world that rejected their very existence. They waited for Harry's reply, as if hoping he would be the one adult that was different, no, their eyes were pleading that he would be different.
Raiden would nod in agreement to the General's command and sigh. He didn't want to talk to anyone and as it would seem, no one wanted to talk to him either. He walked over to the bartender took a seat next to the girl haired girl, ordered a White Russian, and drinks. He hated it the taste of alcohol, though this time was his first. He thought back to Anya and Kushala, if they are fine. He thought back to Harry, probably half across the planet now. He thought of Alex who was at the other end of it. His stomach growls and whines as it rejected the drink. Disgusting. He stood up and made his way to the door to meet his new comrades, hoping to forget about the past.
After seeing Anya's wound she quckly turned to the source of the attack, thanks to her good ears and nose she managed to do that. I'll remember your smell human, you will regret what you've done. Kushala flapped her wings to move snow around and create a layer of it to cover their position, she then quckly picked up Anya with her mouth and placed her in her back. With that done Kushala quckly began to fly away, she first went up to the sky and make sure that man wouldn't be able to reach her. "If I recal correctly is this way" Kushala began to fly to return
Harry gives the kid a stare, his eyes meeting the boy's for a moment and suddenly the young man would see a look into Dresden's soul... He'd see within Harry a blurry mix of roaring flames and cold ice. Aimed at a thousand things, but never at those who couldn't protect themselves. He'd see a dimly lit office, the man inside greeting anyone who came asking for help. He'd see a broken home, burned out save for a single door. Inside the door, he'd see a picture of a young girl who looks a bit like Dresden, and feels for himself the terrible lengths gone to in keeping her safe. The simple fact that any child in need reminds Harry just a bit too much of her to let anything happen to without trying to help. He'd see a burned-out wasteland, every torched to ashes save for Dresden, and those he aimed to defend. And finally, the Soul Gaze shatters to a close, leaving Harry with whatever he might see inside the boy's own soul as he stares into his eyes. "Believe it or not, we aren't all horrible people... I won't pretend to be a saint, but I hope you realize that I'm not about to try and turn you all into tools. Wouldn't sit right by me, last time someone tried to hurt a kid with me around. Well, that didn't end well for them. Anyway, trust me if you can. If not, I won't begrudge you that kid. The choice is yours to make, for once."
Kushala would make it to the nearby town. The people were frightened at first but upon seeing the bleeding woman on Kushala's back, some of them gained the courage to call for help. Anya was rushed into intensive care after that, her condition at the moment is unknown. Raiden would walk into the next train car where he would come face to face with the ones he saw before. Including the green haired girl who was at the bar drinking milk, two others were missing. The girl who was following him around and the long blond haired man that was sitting against the wall. They all looked at him for a few seconds before returning to what hey were doing before, all except the long black haired woman who was missing her right arm. "Well well. Isn't this something? So I take it you joined up? That's good to hear isn't it guys?" she would say with a bit more emphasis on the last sentence The others at the table groaned as they passed her a a stack of euros. "Shit. Lucky guess." the man in the wheelchair spat out with a frown "C'mon, no reason to be a sore loser." she said as she stood up and walked over to Raiden. She threw her arm over his shoulder as if she didn't know the meaning of personal space. "Nice to officially meet you. My name is Kana Hanakawa. If you ever need something then don't be afraid to ask this Onee-san. I'll be sure to treat you nicely." a suggestive tone in her voice as she spoke. "Oh god. Not even here for five minutes and you're already trying to sleep with the new guy." the purple haired boy who was playing the hand held hopped down from his seat and walked further into the train car. The woman simply snickered at the boy as he retreated with a beat red face. "That's Krill. You can ignore him. He's still just a kid after all." she said with a mocking smile "Fuck you!" the boy yelled down the car without looking back The large man at the table gave a hearty laugh before getting up and walking to Raiden, reaching his hand out for a hand shake. "The names Leo V. Galvus. Nice to meet ya kid. Hope ya stick around for a while." he then pointed to the guy in the wheelchair at the table behind him whose head was unceremoniously laid down on the table "That's Mason. Don't worry about him. He's just a little peeved at losing a bet." "Why couldn't you just die?" mason mumbled under his breath as his tears stained the table Kana continued to snicker at the cripples misfortune. "Let me formally say Welcome to Black Hound. I'm sure you'll get used to things around here soon enough. Go further in and you'll see the private compartments. Ya can sleep in any of the empty ones. Next car over is the shower car then the control room. Don't try to cause too much trouble 'kay?"
Pain. Anxiety. Suffering. A boy who grew up in a household with a younger sibling. Parents who argued. A father who left and took the younger sibling with them. The mother who resorted to alchohal to aleviate the pain. Eventually spiraling into drugs and abuse. Desperation that filled the home and food that wasn't present. Multiple men brought home. Payed services. Having to clean up while taking care of his mother. Eventually being betrayed by her. His first time being taken by a man his mother brought home. He cried. He begged. She smiled. She watched. She drank. He finished. He cursed fate. Boiling rage that made him want to kill his mother. But his love of her stopped him. Regret. She sold him and herself to multiple men, multiple times. She cried. She cursed. She apologized. It repeated. Over. And over. And over. And over. Until one night she tried to kill him. She cried as her fingers wrapped around his throat. Yelled that it wasn't her fault. Blamed the man who left her. Cursed him for making her this way. And then nothing. Only remembering the red that filled his vision and the voice in the back of his mind that told him to live, to kill, to survive. When his senses returned. It was a white room. He only remembered pain after that. Adults in white. Clothes stained in red. Cutting. Machines. Bleeding. Pain. Only resting when others were subject to the same. Wanting to die but not being allowed to. Seeing the other children being taken to the room. Some never returning. Many coming back tired and battered. Always crying. Always begging. A rage that mixed with fear at his fate. The repeating cycle of pain and rest. Never ending.........never ending. Adults.........were selfish. Adults.......were manipulative. Adults.......were evil. The boy would continue to stare into Harry's eyes. Not knowing what to say. Not knowing what to do. He looked back at the kids who shivered in the cold. The kids who suffered along with him. Adults were evil. They would just use them again. Those thoughts never changed. But they needed an adults help to live in this world. This cruel world that would rather see them suffer. He wouldn't say any more words. Simply looking back to Harry and waiting for him to lead them to where it was they were to go next. They had already suffered hell. They couldn't suffer worst. That's what he thought.
Raiden would look in bewilderment then calmly as he chuckled softly at the Black Hounds. "My my, with you all introducing yourselves like this I just have to do the same." Raiden said shaking hands with Leo. "Most of you probably already know me, of course, I am a first class Magician. I am the Floudre Magician himself, Raiden Genesis." He took a bow, getting semi away from the invasion on his personal space with the well time bow. Your move, now.....uh Karya, no Kana. "The pleasure is mine of course and if it's not a bother," Raiden lit up with greed. "Can I get in on this bet? I have 500 euros for the market!" He smile happily.
Adults are evil... Not true in the least bit, not in all cases. But Harry can sure as fuck understand how the kid would reach that point. Venturing into someone's soul does, after all, tend to breed understanding. "Not sure if you can believe me, but I get it... Just a bit anyways, once upon a time I had a teacher in magic. He was, not very nice to begin with but it didn't start off too horrible." Harry leads on, speaking slowly as he thinks back to days long past. "His name was Justin DuMorne, and I killed him just to stay alive. He tried to take over my mind, succeeded in taking his other student's mind even..." By this point they'd have been walking for a while, Harry still taking long pauses between words as he sees the faint signs of a town off in the distance. "So I came back to save her or tried to anyways. In the end, I burned the dammed house down and my former teacher with it, so yeah I can empathize with the fact that horrible people have done horrible things to you." A bit closer, and Harry looks back at them with a grim face. Staring into the boys once more, though thankfully a soul gaze only ever happens once with a single person. "Even so? I can't believe that everyone is like that, for all the terrible things I've seen... I've also seen good men and women who'd risk their lives for nothing more than the slight chance to save someone else. I'm not nearly arrogant enough to call myself among that number, but I'll be dammed if I'm not gonna try to help anyway." At that point, he'd go silent and twirl the staff around in his hands a bit. After a while longer, finally reaching the border of the town. With that, he'd set out to find... Someplace safe for these kids, with any luck it won't be impossible right?
The general continued to sit on the sofa that ran across the opposite wall of the bar as the bartender had begun to mix another drink in anticipation of one of the hound dog members. The green haired girl continued to drink her milk with a childish smile on her face as she continued to open and close tunnels they came through. The general was now looking at a electronic tablet as she viewed some footage on it. In the footage she would see a man create a bridge to cross only to drop said bridge to fell his foe and even opened what seemed to be a portal that the other another enemy fell into. She zoomed in on the footage and then opened a folder that sat at the bottom of the screen. Soon the profile of the same man in the footage would come up. "Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden. Son of Malcolm Dresden and Margaret Gwendolyn LeFey. Has supernatural powers that do not align with any single principle and thus is a target of interest under the suspicion of being able to use genuine magic. An investigator of the supernatural in Chicago, North America. You're far from home aren't you? Were you brought here by Anya? I find it hard to believe you had such contacts. With the surveillance on both of you there were no chances for you or really any of you to meet so what caused this anomaly?" She would then pull up a file on everyone else involved as well and stop on Raiden. "Something connected you all together. Something outside of our surveillance. Something we know little or nothing about. Well." she would turn her gaze to the door leading to the next car where Raiden had walked off to "I can take my time getting that information from you, isn't that right?" her eyes were no longer smiling like they had been before but were now replaced with the serious eyes of a predator. "Are we going to force that information out of him Mama?" the green haired girl asked without turning her gaze from the window. "No. I genuinely wanted him here with us. He is an asset. One I will not risk losing so soon. In time he will understand just how much this world needs to change. For him who has only ever lived in the light, taking his first step into the darkness will be an interesting experience for him and it will tell me all I need to know of his loyalties." The girl began to pout as she heard this though it would be hard to tell with her seemingly emotionless visage. The general would then look down at the girl laying next to her. The corners of her mouth slowly rising. "Though the higher ups won't be so excited to hear about the lab, we were able to make a good haul this time around. Vanessa, don't forget to destroy the lab as well. Since its been compromised then there will be others snooping around it. Besides, the head researcher is safe with us anyways. The rest of them are not needed." she said as she turned her gaze to the opposite door this time. The door would open with a bright red haired woman on the other side, missing her right arm and wearing a dirty lab coat. "How did you know I was on board?" she would ask a bit nervously
"Because you are not an idiot. The moment you were all discovered the first thing you did was make way for the train. You knew what being found out meant." she would simply say as she pulled out a cigar box from her coat pocket and pulled out a cigar. "So I'll be assigned to another lab?" "No, of course not." she replied as she placed the cigar into her mouth and then pulled out a box of matched from the opposite pocket. Soon a loud crash could be heard as the train violently shook. Soon after that Vanessa fell forward onto the counter of the bar unconscious. The bartender walked around the counter to the teenage girl and picked her up, being sure to wipe her nosebleed before picking her up, and bringing her to the next car to lay her down. The general lit the cigar with the match and gave a few puffs before looking back at the red haired scientist. "Doctor Illia Von Caviro was killed by the intruders. Her corpse cannot be acquired because of protocol 229. As such all of her research shall be prioritized and sent to another lab." she said after blowing smoke through her revealed teeth. The woman remained silent as she glared at the general. She knew exactly what that meant. She is now considered dead by the military, the government, and the country. This woman would send her research to the higher ups but none of that mattered to her because she had the woman who created the theories and such. "You my dear red headed pet, belong to me now. I hope we will have a very fruitful relationship."
An hour has passed since Kushala brought Anya into the town. Since then one of the doctors had come out to tell her what the problem was. He seemed nervous at the fact of talking to a creature that could quite easily killed him but he gathered his courage to speak. "The woman you have brought in. Her condition has somewhat stabilized but she is still not in the clear yet. The bullet passed clean through her chest, only an inch away from her heart. This has caused complications of another kind however. One of her arteries has been severely damaged as well as damage to her capillaries. Her ribs have also taken damage, fractured in several places with a clean break in one of them. The rib that was broken may very well be what caused the bullet to miss the heart but the fragments of the bone have been lodged into very sensitive areas." the man sighed as he looked up from the clip board and into Kushala's face, though he was a bit hesitant to do so "To be blunt, it's a miracle that she is still alive. Unfortunately our current facilities are not equipped to be able to handle the surgery needed to save her. We will need to move her to another hospital and there is no guarantee she will survive the journey. I'm sorry but the chances of her living through this ordeal is low. She would need nothing short of magic or a miracle. We will still do everything we can to save her. It'll be another twenty minutes before her transport is ready to take her." the doctor said before turning around and walking back towards the hospital. Harry wouldn't find much difficulty in finding a place for the kids with the help of the locals. Apparently seeing small children walking around in clothes similar to hospital gowns with no shoes on in the blistering cold and snow would soften the hearts of many people. Well, of course they all believed these children to be normal. Harry would be pointed towards a orphanage near the center of town as well as being told of a Esper embassy branch office that rarely ever sees any use. The orphanage wouldn't have any problems taking the normal kids though they had their reservations. Most of which cried and didn't want to be separated from their pseudo leader. He had already decided to go with the esper kids to make sure they didn't become unstable. He'd be following Harry at a safe distance until finally seeing the Embassy off in the distance. "So in the end we'll just be handed off to other people in the end huh?" he mumbled to himself as they came closer to the office. The outside looked like a normal building with a sign over the door that said E. Embassy. The inside lobby was white and clean. A reception desk directly at the front with a man whom seemed like security at the front desk and another younger man dressed in uniform who seemed to be the receptionist.
Kushala who was calmly lying on the snowy ground nodded to the doctor, she very slowly began to stand up, making sure she was not scaring the doctor. Thanks human, I can't do anything for her, but atleast, give her this. Kushala gave the doctor a strange gem she got from her back. I don't know why, but sometimes those gems appears inside me, some humans like it because it gives them good luck, so probably it will work with her, thanks again human, I'll take my leave because there is nothing left to me here, farewell. With that said Kushala began to think about what to do now, according to what she knows... she still has that thing from a little girl, and she knows a tattoed man knows about the woman she is looking for... "I think I'm not going to find anything about her... maybe if use one of my gems... could I be able to summon her? I don't think so... But maybe... that guy from that cave knows something..." Suddenly Kushala's instinct got triggered, like if she was being watched. "Wait... what if that man from earlier is not the only one? What if they are still watching me?" ... ... ... "What would do they? Hmmm" And then Kushala thought about what Leo or Tico would do. Leo: Just act naturally like if nothing... Tico: just destroy everything! HAMMER TIME! AHAHAHAHAHAHA! Leo: Tico! Leave that hammer! You are not helping!!! And she imagined Tico destroying everything with a hammer... "SHE IS EVEN ABLE TO CONFUSE ME IN MY THOUGHTS!? Sigh... for now I'll return with the other magic-humans... but I'll be watching my surroundings and... acting like if nothing were happening? That could work" With that said (thought) Kushala raised her wings and she began to fly, she was ready to return with the others and inform them about what happened in that lab"
Handed off to other people... After giving out a big speech like that, but taking the kid with him isn't exactly safe either... Harry stands outside the building, not entirely sure what to do at this point. "Listen alright, I can't exactly say hanging me around would be fun. But you aren't really just a normal person, are you? I'm not sure if I could teach you a dammed thing you would find useful, but if you want to hang around I guess it could be alright." Horrible horrible idea, but didn't he claim he was gonna try to help this kid? He can't take all of them along, wouldn't even think most of them would want to come. "I'm giving you a choice here because that seems like something that you hardly ever get honestly. You can go with these people, or you can come with me. Hell, you want to go off on your own? Fine, it is entirely your choice here and I'm not making it for you so. I do need to get moving again fairly soon though... And I can't exactly take along all of them either, to be blunt I'm not sure how long they'd even be alive thanks to the kind of attention I get. Still, I will give you a chance to make your own decision for once. As much as I can anyways."
The boy didn't say much at first. Simply staring at the nearly white sky in contemplation before finally deciding what path he needed to take. The group of kids would walk into the Embassy with Harry. It took nearly an hour to calm the kids down and another half hour just to convince them they weren't being abandoned. Afterwards, Harry needed to make his report to and would regroup with Kushala at the same place they were dropped off at. Though the trip itself took quite a bit of time because of the distance. Once they arrived the ruby colored stones that were given to them before began to give off a dim glow. Considering they had one extra body with them they weren't sure exactly what would happen but just like what they were told before, they crushed the jewels and soon found their vision being flooded with white as a floating feeling came over them. The feeling last for only a few seconds before they regained their senses in the white expanse of the reality marble they were once in. They had returned to Ar'Ciel though it's not like they had much time to explore the last time they were present. "What the hell. What......what is this place?" the small boy asked as he looked around. The immediate are didn't look much different from the snow covered plains they had just left but maybe by instinct the young boy new this place was different. After a few more minutes they would be met with the same men who had escorted them here the first time and like before they would guide the group back to the teleportal where they would be sent back to Ark. They weren't guided directly back to the building they were in before and instead was taken to a really high class hotel within the city that seemed to pull inspiration from old European palaces with the inside being more lavish and modern. They were brought to a room where Floraine was waiting for them. After making their report Floraine couldn't help but groan while massaging the bridge of her nose. "So Anya is in critical condition and you picked up a random child?" "Hey! I'm not a child! I'm fourteen and my name isn't child! It's Lucius Fairchild!" the boy corrected "Sorry. I apologize for the disrespect. For now I will send some healers to try to help with Miss Melrose's condition. I'm not sure how much help they can be since she's an esper but hopefully they will be able to bring her out of danger. Thank you for your services. The other half of your payment will be waiting inside your rooms." Floraine said as she stood up from the sofa and began walking to the door. "Ah, also, before I forget. Miss Kushala. We have done a preliminary check on the name Radja and cross-referenced the appearance you gave us since last we spoke. As far as Magi within the past three centuries we've found approximately three hundred and fifty people who have the same name and have been able to bring that number down to fifty people. We are doing preliminary investigations to ascertain whether any of these fifty suspects could be the one you referred to before. You can receive the keys for your rooms downstairs. They have been payed for in advance for the next seven days. Now if you'll excuse me." she bowed respectfully before leaving the three in the room. As for what they did after was completely up to them.
-Moon Shire Hotel-
An extravagant hotel filled with top notch personnel, food, and comfort. The security itself could be considered a small military group specialized in the protection of the hotel and it's guest while giving the impression of the common help. What this means is the security is on a whole other level compared to most places. In proportion to the services the price is far higher than other places as well and thus it makes it's money from the wealthy though because of the coming Summit it's rooms were now filled with important persons from all around the world. One such person had only finished this days worth of paperwork that her personal aide had brought with them from home. After finishing said documents her aide retreated for the night and she quickly took a shower to relax. Upon coming out of the shower, still in a bathrobe, she would hear a knock at the door. Of course she herself wasn't expecting to be visited by anyone and though the hotel was arguably one of the five most secure places in Ark she quickly formed a white transparent snake that coiled around her waiting to pounce at a moments notice. She would slowly walk over to the door and open it, only to let out a breath of relief at the sight of her guest. "Well well. It's been quite a while, hasn't it old friend?" she would speak The person who stood in the door was none other than the Magi King himself, Dinivis Ebonhart. "Vieta, we need to talk." he simply said before she let him in, looking out on both sides of the hallway before closing the door. After talking for about twenty minutes while sitting across from each other on the sofa the room at become silent. The air itself felt heavy as the white haired, bronze skinned girl kept her eyes closed as she pondered. "I didn't think things would have gotten so bad so quickly. So Alex Hues is a traitor and his family is currently under investigation under the suspicion of conspiring against the crown. To top it off you're telling me that the Ravens have found evidence that Ai is still alive. If she was alive all this time why now? Why did she suddenly decide to come out of hiding? You don't think she has something to do with the rebels do you?" she said as she leaned back on the sofa, crossing her legs and looking at the black haired king across from her. "I don't know. I have no information tying her to the rebels so I can't say she is directly involved......but it is concerning. And then there's James though I can't say I'm surprised." he would say with a solemn face "He's been so far under the radar that we haven't been able to even find his shadow and now we find out he's with the rebels too. The fact he's been able to avoid even the Ravens these past seven years means he has some very powerful allies. Knowing him, he's probably making a killing selling supplies to them. Honestly speaking, things don't look good. If this isn't handled well we're looking at another world war similar to the council wars." she said with a sigh
"That's what I'm trying to avoid. They have begun to move as well. I think they may be the ones pulling the strings to all of this." Vieta's eyes became sharper upon hearing him say that. "If that's true then that complicates this even more. I'm starting to think that even with everything that's happening that this is just the calm before the storm. If so then......" "This will be a storm that threatens to swallow everything whole." he replied as she nodded to him "Well, I'll keep a look out on my end. Also, if you don't mind I'll like to ask a favor." she asked as the black haired king raised a brow. "I have an inquisitor apprentice here with me. Do you think you can help me give him a little experience?" A knock could be heard at the door. Considering that neither of their familiars had alerted them to any danger this time she called out for the person to open the door and come in. When the door opened a boy about 5'8 in height with bronze colored skin and black hair stepped into the room. He had a brown trench coat on as well as a small doll about a foot tall floating nest to him that seemed to have it's right eye sewed shut and its left eye was button. The doll like familiar let out a creepy giggle as it held its mouth and the boys golden eyes shone through the glasses he wore as he looked at the Head and her guest. "Speak of the devil. This is the kid I was talking about. His name is Astin Azim."
Waiting in a alleyway in downtown, away from prying eyes in a small building waited a man. The man wore a cloak so his face was hidden but despite that his nervousness was obvious from his constant fidgeting and slight shaking. The reason he was here was simple. He was to meet someone. Someone of import that would help him and his comrades change their own and their families situation. Whether that was for the better was yet to be seen. The man would look down at his watch every few seconds from impatience as he wondered to himself if he made the right decision. The world was changing. Was it right to deny that change and hold onto old traditions? The very traditions that were the foundation in which their society was built? To any Magi the answer was obvious but also contradictory. Their civilization was built upon these traditions and laws. They advanced because of them. They became a society that even the humans would call paradise. The reason why was because they were one people all working towards the advancement of the whole. The traditions were placed in order to keep such a society stable and guarantee its advancement at the same time. The residents of such a society were all scholars. Spending their entire lives in search of the universal truth of existence. But it is because of that very advancement that they have changed over the millennia's. They advanced by embracing that change. So was it really wrong of them to deny it now that a great change was happening all at once? Everything he's done was to assure the prosperity of his family. He was someone who was responsible for the lives of hundreds. Generation after generation this responsibility came steeped in blood and darkness. He was the shield that protected his family from the darkness as he himself became steeped in its corruption. It was always a given with the passing of his position to each and every head. A duty he took pride in. Others died and suffered so that he and his family could live. He gave himself a self depreciating chuckle as he thought about this. When had it changed from the prosperity of the Magi Society to the prosperity of his family. In the end he was merely a jester playing the fool. Do everything he thought necessary. He didn't know when that changed or if it started long before he became the head of the family. He envied the Azim family. Not once did they ever stray from their righteous path but not everyone could remain strong for so long. He wasn't strong. He knew that. Instead he would do this for the sake of his family. The reason was simple. Fear. Because he saw something behind all of the chaos. He caught a glimpse of an unshakable truth. The real perpetrators behind the storm that was to come. He knew it was not something that anyone could change and so he chose the side he knew would win. He chose his families survival over everything else. At least that was what he had convinced himself of. He had already made most of the preparations. He had already steeled his resolve and closed his heart. He knew what he was doing was betraying no only magi society but even the ideals of his own family. He was ready to accept the responsibilities of his actions. He heard the sound of stepping from behind him and out from the shadows was a rather tall and muscular man whose black suit did little to hide his bulging muscles. He had a black fedora on, his green eyes piercing into the man. His dreaded contact had finally arrived. The anchor that would keep him on the wrong path. "James Alvarez." the cloaked man muttered under his breath "I've come to watch over my investment. I'll be in your care for the foreseeable future." he said with a light bow as he took his fedora off and gave the cloaked man a smile. That smile told him one thing. Only death awaited him if he turned back now. All that was left was forward and that decision may very well condemn millions more. There was no turning back.
