Snek's House of Spooks
What was once a boarded-up house has become a... well, it's still a boarded-up house, but with tacky Halloween decorations! A crudely-made sign advertises a haunted house. It's almost comical, to be honest. But it's free.
James is walking around the neighborhood and the planet basically when he sees the haunted house. Oooohhhh. This is free? All right, I'll take it. He walks in despite its cheap-looking nature.

It's been a long time but screw it I'm back and ready to narrate spooks. The inside of the building is creaky and dark. Paint has already begun peeling off the walls. The only not-boarded-up door is straight ahead. Fake cobwebs cover the top part of it.
Kevin paused after seeing seeing the sign. He hoped as he stepped in that there would be at least someone who appreciate the effort he made in the costume he made. The box over his head with two circles on it so he see took a lot of work. By appreciate he meant in the form of candy.
Obligatory bump
Ene
Ene stares at the sign with a clear expression of surprise. She didn't know it was Halloween yet. Heck to her it was still what late February. Rubbing her head she makes a curious face and enters the house. Time sure flies when your catching up. A few months gone just watching the popular media she missed all these years. Oh well at least the house would be a cool start to her new wanderings.
A few more decorations, mainly fake spiderwebs, greet her once she’s inside the dilapidated house. The only not-boarded-up door is straight ahead. The atmosphere is ominous, and anyone particularly jumpy would most likely be startled by a fake ghost “accidentally” falling off its string off to the right.
Ene
Ene makes her way over to the door in skipping motion. Ooooh this is soo spooky~ With over the top mimicry and a forced waver to her voice she clearly has some fun as she does so. The fake spiderwebs tickle her fancy and she has to suppress some laughter at several points. The owner of this house is obviously trying too hard. Even the sudden ghost in front of her is clearly fake and too cute to be anything close to scary. Ene pats the fake phantasm and continues on to the free door.

With the rattle of bones across the ground, a skeleton walks, or maybe it'd be better to say it hobbles, to the building, drawn to it by the exterior. It looks over the sign, before seem to cackle, the bottom jaw repeatedly clapping against the top, the sound of clashing bones reverberating through the air. "Ehehee... work..." The bones stumble their way inside, walking a fair distance inside before finding themselves behind a girl dressed in blue. Seeing her dismissal of the house's decorations, he puts his hand beside the right side of her face, not directly next to it, but close enough for her to see it.
The door opens, revealing a dark hall to both girl and actually-animate skeleton. It’s even more spoopy. Anyone familiar with horror games will expect a cheap jumpscare sometime soon.
Ene
Ah ...? Ene sees a bony hand in front of her face and doesn't really process it yet. Carefully turning her head a body made of bones become visible to her. She blinks two times in case her eyes are wrong, but with the bones still there she feels her confusion wear thin. Her nerves snap and she lets out a shrill scream. Hiyahhhhh! She kicks backward with all her might and runs into the now revealed dark hall.
The heroine flees with all her might! Reaching the end of the hall, she approaches the door and- Boing! A cardboard cutout of a cartoony snake pops out in fromt of her from a small slit in the wall. It’s not scary itself, but good for startling.
With a kick to where the stomach would be, the skeleton's torso flies backwards, clacking on the floor a few feet back. Unfazed by the hit, the skeleton almost seems disappointed, before the torse begins to rattle on the floor and slowly crawls towards the rest of its self, which happens to be walking away down into the dark hall itself.

Ene
Ene along with her heart comes to an immediate stop at the sudden appearance of a cartooney snake. Against what her actual eyes are seeing she thinks a certain red eyed snake from the past is in front of her. Causing her head to suddenly feel light as her knees give out. She falls to the floor with as much grace as a rock and curls up in a ball. Pleasenomorepleasenomorepleasenomorepleasenomore. She mumbles a jumble of words under her breath as her body visibly shakes. The cartoon snake will probably get bored of watching this with it's beady eyes.
The snake just stays there. Menacingly but not really. Have fun, skeleton.
As the skeleton walks up the dark hall, it sees the blue girl once again, certainly still the same as she had been before. But the feeling this time came form a different place. Was it the snake? The skeleton itself didn't understand how she felt exactly, but seeing her in the same state as before hardened his resolve. Hobbling over as fast as he could, the skeleton's torso pulls itself back up to its body just in time for it to reel back with a hit for the cardboard cutout. The force behind it was almost nothing, only managing to bend it backwards a handful of degrees.

The fearsome beast is wounded, but its cartoon smile is unbroken. Truly a terrifying foe.
Another young girl walks up to the once boarded house, a curious eye out for something to do. She takes a brief look up and down the "haunted house", and shrugs Well, can't really beat free. Sayaka says before stepping inside, already grinning at the thought of what lame surprises might be in store
Ene
Ene's eyes flit up as her skeletal savior battles the evil snake from her nightmares. Her chest continues to heave in rapid shallow breathes but the mumbling has been lost. Her body continues to tremble so she can't move yet she tries to help her hero. By pulling out his knee caps and throwing it at the formidable foe.
Sayaka enters the crudely-decorated house just in time to see a terrified blue-haired girl throw an animate skeleton’s knee bones at a cardboard snake, bashing it backwards. You know, the usual.
Sayaka raises an eyebrow at the pair at war with a cardboard cartoon snake, calmly walking forwards Are uh.... You two ok? Once Sayaka walks up to the cartoon snake, doing her best to hide a smug little smile, she tries calmly pushing it back into its little slit in the wall, hopefully resetting the trap for the next passerby
Ene
Fine. Ene is pretty much not fine if her shaky smile is anything to go by. However, her internal need to not be so dismal looking finally wins out at the appearance of another witness. Carefully standing like a newborn doe she hugs her arms tightly across her chest. In a bad attempt at suppressing her internal fright. So what are you two waiting for. With some low energy she sayd this to the other two and stands in front of them to look prepared for more. As they move forward she will of course duck behind the group.
The snake sides back in... Unfortunately, the narrator will be vanishing in 5 minutes due to needing to watch TV with their family. They will tryi their best to return afterwards for a bit.
With the snake defeated by their new companion, it looks to her and nods to the question. After picking up its kneecap off the ground and fitting it back in, the skeleton looks to both of the girls, and lets out a small, squeak-like sound. "... friends..." It looks as if trying to smile, although it lacks the ability to do so, then turns to the hallway and follows after the original blue girl.
If you're sure Sayaka snickers to herself, watching Ene walk off, she leans against the nearest wall, satisfied with herself, before swiftly realizing that she's falling behind. She begins to lunge forwards, only for the skeleton to fit in front of her first. Sayaka takes a few steps before stopping herself from running into it O... Ok... I guess I'll take up the back then. With that, Sayaka falls into line with the rest of the house-goers
What follows is more tacky decorations. A plastic skeleton hangs partway out of a coffin, and a fog machine spews out a low mist into some rooms. Fluttering and cawing fills the air for a brief moment, followed by something rushing over Sayaka’s head. A living, breathing crow lands on the top of an open door. It caws again, and a few more caws reply from farther in.
