The Spread of Corruption

It was nice and peaceful night. Human were asleep, some were out watching the sky or doing other stuff. However this was going to change as a group of humans notice what appears to be a green Crystal with black goo around it Soon some screams were heard that soon turned into from a human scream into a scream of monster Some hours later, almost half of the town was covered in black goo, green crystals and a lot of the buildings were destoryed A wall was made to keep the unknown stuff inside but some people knew that it was. It was corruption People were outside of the wall and the police were keeping people away from the wall. Soon some footsteps were heard and what appears to be a man with a skull mask on walks up to the wall, some police tried to stop him but he simply pushes them out of the way until one of them pulled a gun on him, telling him to leave. the person was known as Death

James is woken up by the sound of screaming and naturally gets his assault rifle and shoots everyone in his apartment building and then goes outside to see who else he can kill when he sees some sort of commotion.Welp. Teleportation time.

*In the crowd a man holding a long pole with a glass orb on the top of it frowns. His eyes, hidden behind his hood, watch Death.* As his word foretold. "A monster's scream brings Death upon us."

Alex was sitting down, next to death "Nice day, huh?"

Death would grab the police's offiers guns and throws it away before some ghostly hands opens the gates Death would look at Alex and rolls his eyes before walking inside

Alex follows, but not before taking a gun. Death was kindof a bore, but he (I guess) was death, so.

The_Prophet

*Eis walks past the police, nodding to one of them as he goes. He approaches Death from behind.* What did you do?

Death would look at Eis "Nothing, the corruption did this"

The_Prophet

*Eis laughs* Corruption, you called it? Another one of the calamities you bring, Horseman Death. Or is the word of the lord mistaken?

Alex_Liang

"Well this corruption is my friend," Alex whispered Alex inspected the pistol, not very special. He still had the book though, hnmh.

Darksiders_Death

"This was not of my doing. This Absalom's work, he's The Avatar of Chaos and I plan of killing him to make sure he does not somehow make the demons from my universe to come here since if that works. Humans will soon all be killed by the battle of demons and angels and now corruption"

Don't talk down to me. I see all that has and will happen, including all your futures. 247 end today. I am here to help you avert those. You should be thanking me, horseman. *Eis smirks.* Lead me and your... *Eis looks at Alex* ...friend to this corruption. As an angel, I shall cleanse it.

Some noises of the undead/Swarm is heard "It will not be easy as Absalom can be anywhere, and to get to him it there might be a lot of quests but my main is one to find my brother, War. He has to be in this world"

"I work for someone else, a god of chaos, this does not have to involve me, but why the hell not?'' Alex holds a black skull in his left hand and a tome in the other.

I would look for him, but my sight is too valuable to look for such a simple fool. He may be in this... mistake of a world. I care little. *Eis looks over at Alex.* There is only one god. And he is not of Chaos, but of Order. If they told you they were a god, then they are a liar and a heathen. Abandon them.

*Eis follows Death* So, why stick your neck out like this? Are you being selfless? Saving humans? Not possible. Your a demon. So, what do you get from this?

I can see outcomes. I can't see motivations. None of the outcomes end with you reuniting with that other worthless demon, so you must have some sort of ulterior motive. Do you wish plague this town with evil? I can't let you do that, you must realize.

"Do you think I would want this corruption to grow? No, I don't. Even if you try to kill me. I may be the son of a demon queen and the leader of the horsemen of the Apocalypse but I know right from wrong. I'm just trying to do the right thing so that I can protect me brother, War"

Hes right appearances can be deceiving, he may be doing the right thing

The right thing? *Eis laughs* He's a demon. They can't do anything right. The right thing for them is the wrong thing for the rest of the world. And we angels have to clean up there messes. It happened with Lucifer and it will happen with any other demon that threatens our flock. As it always has. As it always will. So tell me again how your doing the right thing?

"Killing Absalom will end this corruption" Death said still walking, and dealing with the undead along the way... Death was not a true hero nor was a true villain, he was just a anti-hero Death would notice a man who's body was stuck under some ruble but his head was sticking out. Death would see the man was screaming in pain, the man wanted to have his suffering ended Death would walk to the man before quickly killing the man to make his suffering end

All demons are evil. It is in their very being to be evil. To commit sins. You would not understand. *Eis smirks as Death kills the man, as if prooving his point.* As you see, the demon cannot help but kill. If the man was left alive, he would have been saved in 5 minutes by a rescue party. He would have lived out a long and happy life with the woman of his dreams. Not perfect, but good enough for him. But the demons care little for happiness. They see a life. They take it. Committing the sin of murder, time after time.

"I'm not a demon and I don't know if my brother is still in Council's place Death said soon lifting the rubble that was under the man to show that the man's arms were not their and a pipe was going through the man "See, the man would have died either way and besides even if the rescue party enter here, they would have died by the swarm, the corrupted buildings and other things"

(Rifts eyes then revert back to normal) Alright found him and I can take us to him

"Were not going to War yet, I need to kill Absalom. I may find killing as a art and I may do mass killings but i'm not a villain"

"He's somewhere in the Nexus but even if you find him, he will just go somewhere"

You doubt my sight? I share His sight and speak the words He tells me to speak. But I should expect no less for a demon. My words are correct. He would have lived a happy life before he died. Long by the standards of these mortal beings. You stripped what time he had left away. *Eis shakes his head.* This Absalom fellow. Another demon by the sounds of it. If you worthless lot wish to slaughter one another, who am I to stop you?

Iâ€™m someone willing to do what it takes to stop threats like this and plus your gun wonâ€™t work on me Iâ€™ll just phase through the bullet, many have tried

"...okay... Just check in here, alrighty?" Alex then shoots out of curiosity, this newcomer was interesting.

(Rifts body starts shifting in an unnatural way an the bullet goes through him without hurting him at all)

Don't you have a monster to hunt, minion. Ha. Come, my guardian. Remove me from the wretched hive. *Eis is suddenly surrounded in a tornado of dust. As the tornado disapates, he is gone. Eis' voice echoes.* I hope we never meet again. All of you.

"Well, first we need to find a group of people and do quests for them in order to find impotent places in this world where the corruption have made it to and slowly make it up to finding Absalom who used to be a Nephilim but I killed him and a lot of other Nephilims. I regretted doing that to but it a order at me and the other hoursemen got"

"Well then, could zombies work? I can try to make semi-sentient ones."

"they would try to get their revenge on me, so don't bring them back to life" Soon some ghouls appear and they start fighting some of the Swarm (undead)

"True" Alex Zaps a few with eldrith blast.

Death would take out the Redemption and starts shooting the Swarm
