The Red Riot
As people make their way across Shibuya Crossing, a group of seemingly normal people rush in with makeshift weapons. They begin desecrating cars and injuring civilians, somehow causing all major activity to stop. The nearby areas have been blocked by groups of people, and the whole intersection has been taken hostage.
A young man wearing a grey coat of sorts with a hood pulled up over his face would be watching as the chaos unfolded. They seemed to simply be looking around with interest as if feeding off something in the air. "Hmmm, I could try to help but...this kinda despair fuels me too much. I can feel it on the air, people fearing for their lives. Hook, I imagine you must be having a feast of your own with all this going on." Something began stirring within them, unseen to any observers. Another entity began speaking directly to the young man within his own mind. Of course, nobody would be able to hear their internal conversation by normal means. "Anyway, guess we'll watch for a while, at least until I feel the need to act. Don't want too many people hurt, just enough to eat for a while."
Monokuma was in one of the alleyways, near the chaos... his red eye was covered up by bandages and he had some armor and new weapons with him as he waited for maybe the Warlock to get here or someone else, well that's on the side of hope... and he hopes Makoto does not get here
Nokris gazes upon the carnage from above with his two generals, the Darkblade Alak Hul and the Exalted Conjurer, Azyrax. Nokris: Look at this glorious despair... humanity claims that their society is sound and sturdy... and yet they allow such animalistic anarchy to wash through like the waves of Titan. It's beauty at its' finest. Alak Hul: Indeed it is my lord, and in due time the ritual to spread it will be insurmountable to both our crusade against the light and for the Sword Logic. Azyrax: Yesssss... your sisters will proud of this accomplishments. His three ever glowing red eyes continues to gaze at the chaos as he takes a deep sigh. Nokris: Oh Anuk and Halak... such brilliant Deathsingers to be smite by the Guardians.
Monokuma looked up and saw Nokris and started thinking "great, i'm alone and their here... I hate my life"
*Melody sits on a bench near the riot and simply watches, whistling a certain part of Mozart's Magical Flute: Overture* What's a show this grand without music? Hee hee hee.
Nokris sees the black and white bear, his three eyes gazes at him like how a basilisk ends it's victims. He soon descends infront of the bear and he cracks a demented grinning smile. My my my... if it isn't the bear of despair... when I saw through the visage of that foolish, pathetic warlock and hearing such grand barging, I knew that it was too irresistible and tempting to reject.
Monokuma after hearing that, slowly backs into the alleyway
All of a sudden, a figure wearing a hooded trench coat emerges from the roof, holding a glass sphere filled with some kind of mysterious black gas. He tosses it down to the crowd, and those who are rioting cheer and rush towards the gas that had now emerged, inhaling it deeply.
The demented prince takes a deep breath filling the gas into his nose. Yeeesssss... the smell of terror and dread is sooo succulent. This makes me feel like my homey Dreadnought all over again...

Quintus would watch the rioters inhale the strange gas. He was curious as to why they seemed so eager or as to who the figure up above was. He'd begin making his way to the side of the building the figure was seen as the rioters were distracted. "Alright, now I'm getting interested. Hook, do you feel anything odd here? Like any concentrations of despair or anything?" The presence within Quintus would begin stirring once more, trying to feel if any high concentration of despair could be felt in the area. Meanwhile, Quintus would begin concentrating on the ground under him. A root made of an ash-coloured substance would begin trying to raise up from the ground under his feet. It would grab onto him before attempting to lift him up to the building's roof.
Monokuma sighs as he sits down... he didn't know what to do, he sighs... maybe he should find maybe a way to make the monokumas in a area be free from that person who's currently controlling them
*Melody would repeatedly mumble something under her breath while she watched the crowd run into the cloud.* Hocuhrwai meirdetai. Hocuhrwai meirdetai. *As she does, a number of white feathers appear, floating around her.* Always prepare for the worst. Hocuhrwai meirdetai.
The warlock walks by Monokuma as he confronts Nokris and his helmet visor glowing red, but it's not glowing in despair but of unregulated rage. Long time Nokris... you necromancing fuck.

Monokuma gets up and follows Warlock
As the gas expands, those who were taken hostage are held down. As they inhale the gas, they struggle horribly, until it suddenly stops and they laugh. Those who inhale it are let go and join the riot. A high concentration of despair can be sensed in the area.
Quintus would use the root to ascend to the rooftop and step off it carefully landing on the roof. The root would begin to fade away in a flurry of ashes after a while. Hook would inform Quintus of the concentration of despair in the area. "So, that's how it is. Well, at least I know you'll devour it before it would infect me like it did...all of those people down there, anyway..." Quintus would remove his own hood and face the figure, approaching them slowly. "Who might you be? I believe in a proper introduction before questions are asked. I'm Quintus, you...?"
He gazes at the warlock and he goes into a hysteria of twisted laughter. If it isn't the Vex mind of earth, to think I will kill a god in dead human skin... and do you honestly believe that you're heroes?! Humanity are just killers and anarchists at heart, there is no such thing as hope in this wasted rock! Only dreadful despair!!! He conjures his hoard of thralls glowing in despair and directs them to the group.
The figure would turn to Quintus and fire a syringe from his silver gun, then rush to the roof entrance of the building and enter.
Monokuma takes out a shotgun and loads them with explosive bullets "Let's kick some ass and chew bubblegum and I didn't bring any gum"
Hearing the commotion nearby, a man with a terrible choice of fashion walks into the center, taking a small sidearm out of the holster at his leg he looks around. Looking for the source of the activity here as he tries to calm down people. After a few seconds he notices a cloud of black gas and goes to investigate, pulling up his shirt over his mouth to try and prevent breathing it as he looks for the person responsible for it. Hello?!? What's going on here?
Hocuhrwai meirdetai. What is it with we humans and clouds of pollution? Hocuhrwai meirdetai. *Melody continues chanting as the feathers fly rapidly around her, protecting her (or at least attempting to) from the the gas of evulz.*
A root would dart out of the roof's surface as if it were growing out of it to try and block the syringe. Quintus would be a little annoyed at this course of events and walk over to investigate the syringe if he was able to block it. "Geeze, not very friendly. I just wanted to talk but now they went and gave me an excuse to try more forceful methods next time I see them. Hmmm, I'll chase them in a bit but I want to see what's up with this syringe first."

I am the storm, it strikes with hatred and recedes like with fuming rage! The Warlock soon sparks surges of violent electricity into his body and unleashes it upon the Thrall hoard.
As Sho walks towards the ground, he can see several people convulsing as if in pain. He can see others grinning and slashing at each other. Suddenly, a man rushes towards him, reaching for Sho's neck. The strange black gas had started to spread to the tops of the buildings.

Quintus would notice the black gas starting to reach him. He considered his options briefly but decided it'd be for the best to leave the syringe behind without examining it. He wasn't sure if the gas would be able to affect him but he also didn't want to test his luck. He'd quickly go over to the rooftop entrance and try to get inside to avoid the gas.
Sho walks carefully into the gas, looking over the people and getting concerned, what was this gas doing? Unfortunately for him he didn't have any healing abilities. Nevertheless he had to keep pushing through, if he found the culprit less people would get hurt. However, when the knife comes for him he doesn't realize until it's too late, raising his arm in defense as he gets a gnash across it, in response he tries to push the man over before trying to run away, no use causing more injuries Please stay down! I don't wanna hurt you!
Oh no... my army is vanishing to the hands of a guardian... no matter... He conjures a massive ball of purple light. I shall erase you from existence!!! He throws the ball of void light at the Monokuma and the warlock.
Ugh. Guess I'm gonna have to do something. *Melody sighs, before grabbing her violin and heading towards the crowd, hoping her shield would hold off the gas.*
In the distance, the distinct sound of loud sirens can be heard. Several armored cars pull up to the barricades and immediately start firing knockout guns at the guards. They are met with little resistance, being that none of the guards had armor. They began to make their way into the crowd, firing at anything or anyone that came at them. It could be seen they were wearing gas masks and carrying a weird kind of taser at their sides.
Off in the distance, which is not too far away from Shibuya Crossing, Josuke was walking down the sidewalk, carrying a brown satchel over his shoulder. Just as he was about to cross the next sidewalk, he turns his head to the right, immediately noticing the area filled with what it appears to be black smoke. “What in the world is happening over there? Well whatever the situation is, people may be in danger! I gotta go check it out.” Dropping his satchel on the ground, Josuke dashes towards the area, determined to find out what’s going on.
!!? Sho sees the cars begin to pull up, taking cover behind a wall as he watches the situation, just what is happening?
The alien turns to Josuke and he cracks an idea. Such power... such strong magic! What wonder are within that fresh... fruitful cranium!! He makes a made dash to him ready to feast upon him like a wild raptor.
Oh you have got to... *Melody runs behind the wall Sho is behind.* Shoot first, ask questions later. Must be Americans.
Quintus would enter the building and begin looking around to figure out where he was and more importantly, where the figure from before had run off to.
Quintus would see several opened doors, leading to the bottom of the building and into the crowd.
He gets from the strike but one of his legs is corroded away from the blast. This is bad... Monokuma where are you? I got a leg missing.
(Steps out of a nearby donut shop and sees the chaos around him) Great I turn my back for 5 minuets an society collapsed
(edited by Mr_detective)
As Josuke continues running towards the chaos, he catches the sight of a strange alien creature who looks hostile... too hostile. Wait a minute, it was dashing right towards him! Quickly reacting, the teenager rolls out of the way of the creature just before he comes in contact with him. From a kneeling position, he looks up to face the alien, frightened. “W-Who.. I mean what are you? Are you the cause of that black smoke over there?”
(edited by Josuke_Higashikata)
Quintus would continue observing the crowds from within the building, not wanting to risk exposure to the gas in any capacity for the moment. "What's the point of all this though. Glad for the meal but why spread all this chaos? Guess I should just enjoy it while I can, no reason to take too many risks."
(Notices the people with gas masks) That’s not a good sign (Heads to a store ahead, Throws money at the cashier and walks out with a gas mask on with his two duel magnums ready)
He violently jolts back into life as his three eyes gazing at Josuke. The byproduct of a foolish child's desire of knowledge! He succumbed to despair and now I am reborn! I am Nokris! The Envoy of Despair!!! Hungering for both the gift and knowledge that Josuke holds in his brain. His three fingered hands glow into a sickening green and attempts to claw him into ribbons.
Unfortunately for Josuke, saving people had to wait, he was pretty much locked into a brawl with this Nokris fellow. A stern expression appears on his face. “Crazy...” A purple aura begins to glow around his body, he was getting ready to unleash his power. “...Diamond!!” Upon shouting out the name of his “ability,” a pink, humanoid, spirit-like creature with diamond armor planting covering the majority of it’s body, most notably it’s upper half, manifests in front of him. The spirit gives Nokris a nasty punch to the torso with enough power to break open a skull while crying out the word, “DORA!!” This also gives Josuke the time to roll backwards and get back up on his feet once more.
(Points his guns at the people with the taser and the gas masks) Alright listen up all of you, I’m giving you 5 seconds to drop your weapons or I’m going to have to use my incinerary bullets or my explosive bullets I really don’t know what I’m going to pick it depends on how long you test my patientce
Nokris roars in sheer pain has his broken body and head start to violently rupture into green flames. NO! NOOO! That is impossible!!! I was reborn! I used Despair to manifest again! I cannot die to a kid with a horrid haircut! A tear rips open and pieces of Nokris begins to tear off. I will find my way out of the ascendant plain! Once I do I will scorch this world into oblivion! his entire back side breaks open and his essence screams as it is vacuumed into the tear which seals back up and Nokris' husk falls to the ground.
Eventually, the police overwhelmed the massive amount of rioters. Upwards of 200 people were sent to mental asylums and jailed. Property damage was high: the government had to compensate 500,000 yen in order to pay all the companies that had had their buildings damaged. The mysterious figure was not captured, and police interrogations prove to be faulty.
i'm not joining in on th RP or anything, but the title of this really made me think it was referring to the cold war and communism just to let you know
