Rubrum Akademia: Vermillion bird
Fate brought the Akademy for Agito cadets away from their world and their war into this new world. The directors of the school decided to use this to study this new world and open the gates for visitors, to gain more intel. Cadets walk around the fountain with the Vermillion bird. Arecia Al-Rashia, Director of the Magic department and head of class 0, used this opportunity to look in the training Arena at some fighters of this world, As she sits down and smokes her pipe Not as well in magic as my children,huh? She sighs

Oh, another person that likes FF type-0, I am in. Aki entered the Arena as a way to train the new Magic powers she got. She approaches Dr. Al-Rashia Excuse me, are you one of the teachers at this school? I wondered if I could get assistance with the magic powers I gained. She bows

Arecia gives a smile Of course, although it will be new to me to work with a diffrent source of Magic. Bring out the targets. Paper figures line up before them First I want you to show me, what you are capable of.

A-Alright... Aki takes a deep breath and holds her arm up, shooting fire balls and hitting 4 out of 10 targets I was told I had 6 elements, but so far I only used 3 Fire, Ice and wind, the others are Earth, Dark and Sea. I am not sure so far how to channel them...

Jade appears from the entrance of the arena and walks up to the two. I guess I am to blame, i gave Aki here that power, but i hadn't had the time to explain her how to use it. He walks up to Arecia Jade Curtiss, researcher and soldier, charmed to make your aquaintance.

Arecia chuckles Aki and Jade, I see. I haven't indroduced myself. Arecia Al-Rashia, I trained and raised Class 0 at this school. The magical source seems quite similar to ours, only more element based. I would like your assistance with this Jade.

Aki sighs The first thing I think I figured out how to use the wind for my fighting style. She summons the weapon Geist gave her a while ago I also learned this from Jade. How about a sparring match? I could see how Jade uses his Magic and you Arecia observe our moves to see, what we have to fix. She smiles

Jade summons his own spear You just want to beat up an old man, am I right? Oh my, how ferocious. I guess these bones could use a little stretch. But don't think I warned you.

She shakes her head Same weapons and energy as Nine. Alright first some rules for safety. Fight goes till I say stop, which I do when i see somebody is unable to continue or if we make progress that needs to be analysed. Let's keep it fair and Square.

Aki smiles teasingly at Jade Let's see what you are made of. She used the wind power to fly up and start an Air attack

*On the one of the sides of the arena, Maria sits, Kyu sitting next to her, watching this.* Magicas are wierd, huh Kyu. *Kyu nodded in agreement* Wonder if I can play with them. Looks like fun. Those dooders and those red cape guys are all like pew pew woosh woosh yaaaaaaaaah!!! *Maria flails her arms around before giggling to herself. Kyu yips in excitement* Fun timeses.

Arecia notices Maria Are you enjoying the show? She continues smoking her pipe The cadets here were trained for war, in this school it was the only fun times to act young and happy, while outside they faced the cruel reality.

I am trying, but I don't even know what fonons are. She focuses with her arm, letting out a explosion near Jade No still just fire. She begins again to focus while dodging Jades earth attack

*Maria looks at Arecia in confusion* Smoking is bad for you. My bro told me never to do it, so it must be true. Also, why train people someone for something as bad as war? Isn't that like propo... prob...proto... keeping it going? That's a bad thing. I don't get it. *Kyu yips in agreement.*

Arecia smiles If it would've been so simple. I trained my children so at least they can live through this, but some fates can't be avoided or resolve easily. So all i can do is to be a supportive mother to pre pare them for their future. You do have a point, but sadly not everyone agrees and thinks alike.

Aki grips her weapon firmly She closes her eyes and concentrate Haaaaah... She summons a Wave to suck up the bubbles and head to wards Jade

*Maria leans her head to the side in confusion* You're words confuse me, miss. I don't get it it all. Ah ha ha ha.

On another side of the arena, one kid and one adult were just watching. Hat Kid smiles as she mostly was watching Aki fight Jade while her older self, Hat Adult, was just mostly there to protect Hat Kid

Arecia pets Marias head You don't have to, you'll get it when you are older. Let's say I am just a protective mother who would do anything to save her children . She looks at Jade /Interesting Spells.They do well at this. /

*Maria puffs her cheeks in annoyance.* Don't treat me like a child. I don't care if you're someone elses mom, don't act like mine. It's annoying.

Aki panics and puts out her arms summoning earth rocks as a sheild I did it, I can do it. She smiles happy and waves hat kid Take this She uses the ice spikes as lances and throws them to Jade

She laughs Alright. I just hope one day they can have a normal life as normal students. She smiles

*Maria nods* I don't really get it, but I think a normal life is pretty underated. If I could have a normal life, I'd be happy. So your students should be normal too and be happy. If I can understand that, it must be simple. And if it's simple, it's doable.

I guess you are right, i have to think that I think I heard you talk about my children, they are those "red cape guys". They are all unique in their own way, but still I am happy to just see them smile like this.

I saw 'em while I was wandering around. They seem really cool. I'm sure they'll be able to do whatever they want in the future with that kind of strength. You don't have to worry t all, Miss.

Could it be? Nah Jade probably meant this Intrest diffrent. She looks at the piece of paper I see so I have to associate these elements with memories and form to channel them ... I will. She sighs and falls to her knees I need to get used to it though it seems.

Aki stood up and walked to Arecia and Maria Jade is just better at Magic and I am better with weapons, so our chances were equal, but relying on magic is hard. She sighs Arecia, Jade says he would like to next time tell you more about his magic and I should say goodbye from him. And good to see you again Maria.

Hat Kid after the fight was over would look at Hat Adult, soon Hat Adult gave her a cookie and soon Hat Kid started eating it

Kyu is good as well it seems. She was taken aback by Arecias words I... Some days ago I received this power and attacked friends in the process. I didn't hurt anyone, but I would feel horrible if I did. That is why I am still overcarefull with these powers.

It sounds more like you don't trust them enough. You want to get strong yourself to protect others, but don't trust them to back you up and protect you. That is why you fear to hurt. Atleast that is what it seems like to me.

Kyu is cool. Right Kyu? *Kyu yips in agreement.* But I can kinda get why you'd be scared of overwhelming magica powers though. I'm scared of mine, but I'll get control of them someday. I have seen the future and I shall be the true dark lord of light, Darth Mar the greatness. Ya ha ha!!! *Maria poses dramatically.*

Aki looks down I think you are right.I always had trust issues, to never reveal to crucial things about myself. I still doubt Jade sometimes, I have still my secrets I only told the one person in my life and I don't like to depend. She smiles at Maria I forced myself to look strong and forget I am not alone sometimes. So I will try to overcome this. After all my friends are pretty tough.
