Yamane would wipe the sweat from his forehead back in reality. He was worried about how things would go but he had confidence in the students he had chosen. If he hadn't been sure in their abilities then he wouldn't have had them fight Yesod in the first place, still, he knew the truth about the shadow they had faced and saw no reason to hide it.
"Yesod, second of the Sephirot, the programs designed by the culprit to fend of intruders in their world. Yesod is both their second artificial shadow and the second weakest. I'm not sure exactly why facing Yesod caused Hashimoto's Persona to be summoned but it seems there's more to this that needs to be looked into.
Regardless, it appears as though if nothing else we've gained valuable information here today."
Yamane would address Kira and Niko next, seeing no reason there questions weren't necessarily related.
"If the shadow said it to Hashimoto then it probably means something more to them, at least in most cases. That power they used...It was a Persona, after all. It almost seemed like Yesod was meant to be their shadow in some ways.
I've heard of shadows of people turning into their Personas before but even so, it seemed a bit different from what I understand of that method. Both someone's Persona and shadow are like a mirror of sorts into who they are so it's not uncommon that certain thing they say or do has a special meaning to the individual.
Apart from that, what's more, troubling is the fact that if Yesod was Hashimoto's shadow...How could the maker of this world have known that? You've all just entered their world for the first time..."
Expierenced, as he was Yamane, was at a loss for the moment. It seemed like a question better suited for someone more specialized in the nature of shadow worlds, not someone who simply had experience with shadows.
He decided to report the issue later but for now, they still had a job to do.
"I'll be opening a portal back home in your area soon. For now, you're free to look around as much as you want. With Yesod beaten all the shadows in the area should have disappeared as well. Oh, and don't worry about any injuries you sustained while in there. Those will manifest as mental fatigue once you get back. You're only fighting with your psyche in that world."
Tadashi would find that the door actually began to open as he approached it. It was almost as if it was inviting him inside. He'd feel something of an impulse to accept it's invitation as if forces from beyond were guiding him. The interior of the door was veiled by a heavy fog, hiding its contents from anyone who didn't step through.
Once one stepped through, they'd find themselves within an odd shop with low blue lights, giving the area an almost tranquil feeling. There were all kind of strange things lining the shelves. Strange substances in jars that seemed to be labelled as impossible things such as Question, answer, and the unknown. There were also items of much simpler value that one might find at a general store in the real world.
The place would have an out of place feeling and invoke that feeling upon whoever entered. There was a counter with no one there, no one except what seemed to be a small golden bell.
