I played Melee once when I was a toddler at a neighbor's house, and all I really did was jump around the screen. Might pick up this new title while the Piranha Plant free offer is still valid (and pray my boys Joker & Decidueye get in as DLC).

I am 100% sure that Joker will not be in Smash Ultimate, regardless of how cool of a fighter he would be. There's also a very low chance of Decidueye being in it, even as DLC, as they already put a Gen VII starter's final evolution in (Incineroar). Even if they do put another gen VII pokemon in, I doubt it'd be another starter.
