The watch face seemed to pop forward from its socket. A small gap formed between the face and the strap. A digital interface appeared with a small analog clock ticking forward, and an arrow pulsing above it pointing at the left side of the clock. The instruction seemed pretty clear to the now glimmering teacher. He was to be the victor, not for himself or his pride, but for those who couldn't. His feelings were set, and he pressed into the crown of the watch.
"Of course you don't, branches don't have fear before they get pruned!"
The final click set into motion his fate. His fate. He pulled the face from the strap, sparks of electricity holding it in place, but he finally succeeded, revealing a small interface with four icons. A small red dot in the middle was what drew his attention, and he pressed into it before throwing the face before him.
"And trust me, I've just got myself a hell of a pair of shears."
The watch face glowed a deep blue, and strings of code projected from it onto Gentaro's waist. The code enveloped his body, until a new shape was seen around his waist, a sleek light blue device with four multicolored devices implanted at the top. The face itself locked into the center of the belt shaped object, with text reading "Hierophant" now scrolling across the screen.
"Persona, right? Whatever it is, I think you're gonna regret letting me get a hold of it..."
His first action with his new power is pressing the top icon, which at the beginning was a lightning bolt, but after his action was replaced with a rocket. The new icon caused text reading "ROCKET" to scroll across the watch face, causing his entire suit to shift from a shimmering gold to a pure white with darker grey accents. His watch also emitted light creating several parts about his arm, which soon combine to resemble a rocket.
"Ohohoho! I finally get to do something I've always wanted to! ROCKET PUUUUUUNCH!"
The rocket ignites, flinging Gentaro fist first into Malkuth's blade, but he narrowly misses, creating sparks as the rocket grinds on the surface. Gentaro was not aiming for the sword, but the cracks in his armor.
