Just give Alm a bunch of levels and Act 5 and 6 will be a breeze, Celica will always be too squishy to just tank everything, so use Dread Fighters. Make everything into dread fighters. Dread fighters break the game.

eh, Genny, Delthea and Tatiana have pretty good res. My Alm got 16 res once as well. Overclasses and those shards are hella helpful

Welp, now that Conq Alm is coming, I feel a strong need to Hard Classic Alm/Celica solo the game again, but in only a single day. Wish me luck lads. Nuibaba was a pain in the ass last time, but grinding fixes all most problems.

for what it's worth, there's really no point to fully leveling in echoes promotion gains are good enough that you don't really need to bother with leveling more than one or two levels above the promotion requirement side note; clive is kind of not amazing, but he's a chad so use him anyway coward

oh, I do realize how nice the promo gains in Echoes are, but there's nothing quite like a 20/20/20 Alm soloing Thabes on the hardest difficulty. I do still need to get around to doing that blitzkrieg run for the award.

The first half was a cakewalk, but once I got to around floor 7-8, and the dragons started showing up... Hoo boy. I made it a goal for me to not retreat from any battle, and I never actually had to retreat, but I had to use the forbidden combo of Killer Bow and Hunters Volley to win those battles. And then I won't talk about the time when Grima killed Alm because he hit a fucking 17% hit. "Oh there's no safer area for Alm except for there, and there's no way he'll get hit" "N-no... Not when we were... So close..." As you can guess I may or may not have screamed, and then proceeded to redo the entire 2 hour trek of no retreat Thabes Alm only.

echoes storyline ranks among my favorite in the franchise, alongside FE4+5 gameplay can feel a bit wonky, but I think maps are the only glaringly bad issue no lie I'd prefer uninspired maps forever than ever touch a fog of war map again

To be fair, 18 res, 36 luck and 52 hp next to unkillable when it comes to nuibaba's abode. The main thing I'm worried about is Nuibaba herself, as medusa is a death sentence. And I can't just warp in, I actually have to go around it
