well i did treat him kinda nice but i smelled bullshit a mile away but

I just sassed him all the time, but he didn't seem bothered.
Also, we will propably see him in spin off's as DLC, if anything. If Adachi breaks out of prison twice that way, Akechi can maybe come back as well the same way. Or just like Persona Q handled Shinji

I actually really liked Akechi. Too bad he's fucking DEAD.

Akechi was not a bad individuals. He was just a victim of twisted desires caused by his monster of a father.

When I met Akechi i really liked him.
When he betrayed the thieves, I felt betrayed and hateful toward him, but not really hating the character. Got scared they would make him a generic villain. (Kinda wish he joined you earlier on so the betrayal was more authentic)
Then during the reveal, I felt really bad and searched the Internet for a way to save him.

Everyone called the betrayal. That wasn't meant to be the twist, the Phantom Thieves' plan was.
