GYM Deluxe: Climax Scrambled Eggs
The beloved icon of a forgotten age, a dingy building with a brightly lit neon sign simply reading ‘GYM’ sits comfortably in an alley resting in the humble urbanity of most downtown regions. The only key feature of the building would be its blandness. It fit in where it belonged and did nothing more, there was to be no transforming into a mech requiring other buildings to be complete, nor was there to be an alien artifact that might destroy the natural order of the country. The building was, and that was that. That is until a panicked figure began bustling in and out of the building carrying boxes of varying weights and volumes in and out, a faint sound of carpentry could be heard from within for many weeks, the neighbors made sure the entire city knew of that. The long since abandoned building had a resident, and this resident seemed to have an endless supply of time and resources with which to do whatever it deemed fit on the property. At one point, some would swear of seeing the same resident run out twice before returning, but it seemed that the project was complete at last, the distant smell of paint had now faded into the breeze.GRAND RE-OPENING! GYM DELUXEIt was certainly a flashy flier, and the added deluxe in cursive certainly felt like something worth a grand reopening, but whether or not the once notorious name had earned such a title was for the customers to decide. Upon arriving at the familiar location, one thing seemed certain, it wasn’t open yet. The entire building had been covered in an enormous white sheet, hiding whatever improvements had been made beneath itself. A strange mascot character patrolled the storefront, clearly a part of whatever had happened here. This began the new life breathed forcefully into the lungs of such a piece of nostalgia, the only thing left to do to seal such a contract, was to unveil the building.
An odd looking strange with blonde hair and amber eyes would be traveling through the area. Though they seemed to know where they were going they suddenly would stop and look around. It would seem odd to most but they were used to it. As if merely by chance, they had somehow ended up lost. The figure would look up and observe the area they were now in before sighing and talking to themselves. "Again, this luck of mine...Maybe this time it's good luck that I want? Well, time to get my bearing anyhow." They'd look around a bit more, noticing how they seemed to find themselves in front of the yet to be unveiled building. "GYM Deluxe? What's the Deluxe part about exactly? Maybe this is the job opportunity I've been looking for..."
A normal looking girl with short, blonde hair and brown eyes had appeared into the area, obviously not knowing where she had ended up. Her obliviousness was also accompanied with the...ballistics that were in her possession. Two shotguns on her back, and a brown belt that held up both her grenades and her green plaid skirt. "Oh, GYM Deluxe, huh? I wonder what's so special about it..." The girl looked around with a bit of concern, wondering why she was even here. Then again, she led herself here. Who else could? Her eyes then looked towards the building, not noticing the first time how the whole building had been veiled by the huge, white sheet. She also didn't notice the other person with her the first time. "Uhm, hi. Do you have a map?"
Gadello would look over to the newcomer unsure of what to make of her. "Uh, no map. Don't carry stuff like that around. No need to anyway. I often just get to wherever I need to be and I guess that's here right now though I'm not always sure why." He seemed to just absentmindedly check the sword trapped to his side. It seemed to glow slightly for a moment as he pulled it out of its sheathe slightly. He'd slide it back in before looking back to the girl. "Not 100% on this but I think we're in the market district of Shibuya right now. I have no idea what city Shibuya is but I'm used to wandering into random cities like this."
Ashley had audibly gasped, she seemed to be in shock and surprise...and awe. Someone who actualy had direction sense that seemed lost? This was a bit of a first to her. Though, upon hearing the news of no map, she sighed. "My dad's so going to kill me once I get home..." She looked over at the sword that Gadello had checked, squinting to get a better look of it. However, she sent him back a bit of a worried look once he had looked back at her. "Shibuya?...that is a part of Japan right? If it is, thank God! I didn't want to have to end up in another continent trying to get back to America. I just had a quick trip to Spain and I don't want to be at Australia next time I wake up..." These types of people actually existed. People who didn't give too much of a care about how many loopholes and missing brain cells it takes to get from Spain to Japan when trying to get back to America. However, she shook her head and looked towards the stranger. "Let's not talk about that. My name is Ashley Graham, and my father's the president of the U.S.A. How about you?"
He seemed to hesitate a moment before responding but finally got around to it with another sigh. "Well, you don't seem like one...The name's Gadello but just call me Gad. I don't like being called by my first name, makes me nervous. Anyway, I suppose I'm what you'd call a wandering God of Fortune. Though I don't really feel that lucky most of the time." His eyes seemed to glow with a slight golden light as if a divine energy was already gathering within them whether Gadello was conscious of it or not.
Ashley could only look back at him, both confused and a bit excited. That employee was right. Gods do roam around here like it's nothing, after all. "Alright, Gad. God of fortune...that's a bit new. Especially one that isn't confident in their luck." She would've asked him if his name was foreign, but considering the fact that he's a god, she didn't want to ask a question that would be considered disrepectful. Also, they're gods, so they have to be complicated in some way.
Gadello would have trouble not laughing a bit at how he introduced himself. Holding back a tear he'd reply to Ashley's retort. "Well, I'd hardly call all this power good luck. Truth is Gods born the way I was aren't really all that different from people. A lot of the time I just find these powers to be more trouble than they're worth. I'm just looking for work right now anyway, not exactly a godly activity."
Though a bit disappointed, she isn't too fazed by it. Reality can suck sometimes, and to be honest, being the daughter of the president isn't something she's too proud about either. "Hmmm, you know, I agree with you. On the last part, at least. I have no idea how all that other stuff works!" Ashley looked back Gad as he mentioned something about finding work. She visibly blushed as she thought back at her previous moments back when she was in Spain, and shook her head again to forget about it. "I would ask you if you would want to work for my father, but...directions are hard." Clearly this girl flunked her geography classes. And her government class, but she wouldn't want to tell a single soul about that. It'd already be in the news headlines if that snobby bitch Jenna had time to compare their grades. Thinking back, she really is kind of lucky not to be in college right now.
He almost seemed a bit confused for a moment before putting the pieces together. "You said your father was the president of some place called U.S.A. right? Uh, a job like that would be troublesome for me anyway. A president is like a king or something right. I have a bit of trouble with government related jobs...I'm a little too convincing sometimes. Anyway, I'd rather not end up as the general of a nations army...uh, because fortune of the battlefield. I think that's a saying at least. Haha..." He seemed to laugh the comment off as a joke but there was a certain air of uncertainty that reflected through his eyes.
Her eyes lit up a bit, and she inched closer to him to look straight at him. "The United States of America, to be exact! Though, it's a mouthful of a name so we just say the letters USA...I would try to explain my home-country to you, but that's adding too much complication." She stepped back and cleared her throat. Ashley shrugged her shoulders, the guns and grenades on her rustling a bit. "I've never thought of getting a job involving the government. It's better to leave it to the professionals." Ashley looked up in the sky as she put a hand over her chin, thinking. "Speaking of fortune of the battlefield," whatever that meant to her. "my father had the greatest idea of sending a lone agent with a handgun and a couple of herbs to save me when I was kidnapped from Spain." She looked back at him, shaking off anymore memories of that horrid experience. "Don't ask me how it worked. I just know that he looked hot, and that he got me out of trouble."

Gadello seemed a bit overwhelmed by the girl's explanation. He couldn't really think of a way to respond so he just thought to relate what she was saying to something he knew. "Still not sure about this America thing. Even this Japan place seems a bit odd. Remind me a bit of a place called the Bright Republic though. All the lights and advertisements are definitely reminiscent of it." He'd then notice all the armaments she was carrying as well. "Oh yeah, people in the Bright Republic used stuff like what you're carrying too. Never saw much point in ranged weapons though. They miss more often then not."
A girl walks over, carrying her staff and looking at what seems to be a blank holographic screen. She'd walk without looking forward, but didn't actually run into anyone until she arrived near the building. She then swipes the screen and it vanishes into nothing. Been a long time since I've been here... .... Deluxe? She notices the two talking in front of the building and walks up to them, but she doesn't get too close. Close enough to be noticed, but not so close as to intrude on the conversation.
Wow, gods sure are uninteractive with the human species. It's a bit understandable, if he had to try and experience what she went through...he'd probably handle it better than her. "Japan seems odd, but I like it! It's pretty peaceful. I have no idea what a Bright republic is though, maybe I should've toned down on the monologue...wow, English class came in handy for once." On the comment of her possessions, she'd open her mouth to try and say something, but ends up just shutting it back up and reminiscing back on how many heads she saw get blown off by a mere pistol. Which was a lot. Also a lot of memories where she remembers dying by barely getting scratched by a knife. "Uh, nevermind that. Airport security would probably kill me if they saw me with all of this, so I'm pretty contempt with how I am right now. How's that sword working out for you?" Ashley looked over him and casually pointed at his sheathed sword. Not to mention that slight glowing, but she didn't want to comment on it. There were already a lot of evil voodoo magic she'd experience back in Spain, never again.

Gad looked down at his sword and then back up. He'd shrug before pulling it out. The sword clearly possessed some kind of strange energy flowing through it but it was hard to tell what exactly it was. "Don't know honestly. Don't really use it a whole lot. I'm not really into violence and to be frank, if anyone attacks me...well, they won't be attacking me for long. Guess I have dealt with some more annoying threats though before but I don't really like remembering those either. Things just sorta happen when I tell them to really."
