Unlimited GYM
OOC: So haven't done one of these in a while, the basic gist though is they're based on the idea of Unlimited Characters in BlazBlue. Ultra powerful versions of normal fighters. Not flat out god modding exactly, but still a lot more over the top than normal stuff and non-canon is the intent of these. A woman in her early 30s would walk up to an old rundown building, a blank and worn out look on her face as she absently looks down at a gleaming ring. "Yeesh, been a damn while since I've come back here. Well whatever, maybe someone here can... Nah I doubt it." She shakes her head, black hair tied in a ponytail swaying about as she walks through the GYM's doors and flicks on the lights. Despite it being old, the place is still somehow in amazing shape internally, a longue area sits off to the side, along with a fully stocked bar sitting at the back that's got no one running for now. Finally, there are several "fighting rings" as it were, wide fields that have some mystic writings set up as a square around them which would prevent any stray fire from rushing out into the building around them. Homura reaches into a black coat around her and pulls out a lighter, along with a cigarette that she'd quickly take a drag from before leaning back against a wall with a disinterested look. "Oh well, I guess I haven't got anything better to do than wait around here anyways. Might be fun if the right person shows up. Someone who can be a challenge..."
A timeless middle school girl arrives at the front of gym and looks at it with a blank gaze. It has been a while since she visited this dimension and she still didn't know if she missed it or not. Sure she met plenty of people, but this place lacked the extra warmth of Akemi-ya. Well might as well. Homura tucks in her wings and walks into the GYM only to find herself. The feeling of meeting herself was old by now so she checks out one of the fighting rings instead. The mystical writings look especially interesting and she feels tempted to prod at them to see if something blows up. What language is this spell in, other me?

A dark sensation would seem to pass through the door, not even bothering to open and walk through it but simply acting as if it wasn't there. Only the most perceptive would immediately notice the figure as they stopped near the center of the building. They'd be wearing an old black coat, the color from it mostly seemed faded and it almost looked as though it had been torn up in places. From beneath the hood of the coat a set of red eyes would focus on the two other occupants inside. There was almost an icy chill to their stare as the air seemed to grow stagnant around them. "You. You all seem familiar. It's been a while...This world continues to move on without me as all the others did as well..."
Urumi Koto would look at the GYM, she smiled behind her mask as she made sure her hoodie was up and her mask was in a fix position before she would walk inside of the GYM. She would look around the GYM, seeing the three people here, she didn't waved to them or anything like that but she did want to talk to them and such and watch some fights (and get into one) but for now she would just walks around the GYM until she found a good place to stand/sit at as she would wait for someone to either interact with her like talking or asking to fight her or for a fight for her to watch

Flareon struts through the GYM doors, humming amusedly. "Welp, i've still got a bit of time to kill before I no longer feel any enjoyment from most activities I used to do. Might as well sell my soul for a gym membership." He surveys the parameter of the gym for the nearest employee if there are any so he may inquire about membership prices
She's seen this before. Not this exact version, but she's met another one like that. Killed one like that too, barely. Light bursts around her as the ring vanishes, though nothing really changes beyond her having a gleaming shield in her hands. No fancy outfit, nothing that special. She just blows smoke towards the other woman and responds in a dead seeming voice. "Eh, you asked the right person I guess... Little acient Sumerian, some weirdo Demon Bullshit, there's a lotta crap Tatsu used in this stuff back when he was alive and I could, in fact, go over it all if I felt the need." She goes quiet and stares hard for a moment, the thought of making that shield go click is there. Wouldn't do any good. Except to keep idiots outta her way in this case. But in the end she sighs and speaks up again. "Ya know, I've met... Well, I've met several versions of myself by now. Even one like you before. Didn't like her very much. But whatever, she's dead and taking in out on you'd be pointless right?" She stares over at Quin for a bit, eyes narrowing as a gleaming silver revolver with the word 'Obey' written on it appears in her hand. "What the fuck. Is that you Quin... Last I looked I helped Tatsu bury ya, but I guess that nothing makes sense here anyways huh? Don't care for that look though, you here to fight?"
Quintus? would pull up the tattered hood to reveal their pale skin and reddened eyes. There was a deep feeling of dread that seemed to linger on their skin. "I see, so that's what happened to me in this world. Asking if I want to fight? I have more pressing things here. To use this world's inhabitants to fuel my battle against the gods. I suppose I only came here out of nostalgia. A trip through the past before I move on from this world as well."
[That which starts but has no beginning would be standing close to the wall. He had never left, and she never arrived, for they have always been there. The so called Melbourne would have watchful eye on the possibilities of reality, the branches of causality, and the shifting of space, time and gravity around them all. His eyes, piercing gaze, would have everyone on his sights. Perhaps someone would approach him, or maybe they will avoid them. Regardless, he was here for fun, for he needed to understand a bit more about these inhabitants.] Curious, curiosity fills me. I need this sight. [His "fingers" twitch.]
Indeed i'm not too interested in fighting myself again. We all have the same personalities, techniques, and you know it gets pretty boring. Talking to myself has gotten as old as stealing Madoka from other versions of me. Homura places her hand on the text to feel some of the faint energy seeping from it. It tingles beneath her hand and she gazes about with boredom written on her face. No one looks fight worthy so she doesn't bother to address the others. Except for the person wearing a dark coat. Now he seemed like a worthy opponent, but maybe some other time. Who exactly placed this Sumerian charm here?
She sighs and looks back at the devil wearing her skin, same techniques huh... Not entirely truthful at least in her case. But she isn't gonna make a big deal outta it now. "Tatsuya Suou, though honestly given he's been gone a decade I come back to maintain the damn things now and then myself... You could say I learned a good deal from him. Though, I'd say the student became the master even before he died." Homura turns back to Quin as blue flames begin to gather around her, there's no card though, just the vague sense of a Persona about to appear. "Use us as... No I don't think you will, unless I screw up, and I'm honestly a bit sorry Quin. Once upon a time, we were friends. But here I am now." Her shield clicks, time stops for all but Homura on both counts. Flames burst out of the woman's gun headed straight for Quin, and again from the left, the back, and the right. She'd stand in front of him again, gun still aimed as time resumes and the four bursts of magic from her gun rush over to him. "Either I'll kill you, or you'll kill me. Both outcomes are honestly fine from where I'm standing, so this is just win-win."
Homura barely listens to the words that her other self utters as she senses the presence of a strange entity nearby. The curious nature of this new creature causes her to shiver with excitement and her eyes focus in on him. Well well it looks like I won't be dissapointed today. She lazily approaches Melbourne with a grin on her face and her hands open in a friendly gesture. As if she is about to give him a hug. Your presence is pretty annoying. What exactly are you? She stops once she is almost face to face with him. Are you an incubator or some other filthy creature?
Quintus wouldn't seem panicked at all as time resumed. With a single wave of his hand spikes of fleshy golden wood would raise out of the ground in 4 spots around him. They'd seem to absorb the flames as they began to glow with an ominous red light. He'd brush his hand towards Homura as all four of the spikes would launch out of the ground. They'd fly at Homura from directly in front, her left, her right, and above. The wooden spikes would explode into a burst of golden flames upon making impact with anything in general. The golden flames would burn even those who might normally be immune to such effects. "A trick like that might've worked on the me that was just human but I have surpassed those limits. Only something inhuman can save humanity and so I allowed a new power to fill my being."
Urumi would watch the fight that was going on, she also hope some more people came into the GYM
Homura grins a little bit, so that's how it is huh? Good thing she isn't a human either, not really. She holds her shield up, it'd form a gleaming barrier of purple energy that quickly blocks two of the spikes, the flames would threaten to burn through but they don't, not quite. The other two just slam into her, golden fire burning away at the woman's flesh as she... Doesn't even flinch, her body looks worse for wear but there isn't any sign of pain on her face. Though her clothes and skin do appear to be melting a bit. "Cool cool, you did that. I stuffed my soul into a shiny rock, other me became the fucking devil. Ain't we just a grand party of inhuman freaks? Rip him apart Kali." An eight-armed woman with blue skin would appear in front of Quin, swords forged from black metal held in them. Thick black shadows cloak most of her body, and in milliseconds the Persona lunges for Quin with truly inhuman speed and rage, aiming to cut into his flesh as time once again comes to a halt. That'd stop her too of course, but Homura tosses a block of C4 behind the man. Hoping for him to dodge back as time resumes.
[They would turn to the demonic presence right in front of him. She seemed smug as they are to say and they must imply. He does not care for darkness but, and yet she who stands in front of him makes him curious all the same.] I am not as Kyubey. They who call themselves Kyubey have limited options. [His hands seems to be displaced from the third dimension as he uses it to point at himself. His palm firmly pressed against his own chest.] Mine name is Melbourne, it is nice to meet you, Akemi Homura.
Quintus having had a second to prepare before time stopped would already be ready to speak once more. "Wings of Apathy." In what seemed to be the span of a second more wood would form out of the ground, growing into the shape of wings along Quin's back. They'd simply beat once and a storm would begin to brew. Winds blowing at several hundreds of miles per hour along with an eerie green colored mist. The mist would begin to eat away at whatever it touched, causing it to begin to decay. "The first sign the end was coming was the loss of feeling. When one feels nothing they become little more than a blank slate. Unable to function or find purpose in their meaningless life. That was the first gift. It seems you've gained this gift with time as well."
Suddenly, everyone in the GYM is supplexed in thin air.
The woman growls a bit, four of her Persona's blades fly towards Quin. Despite the wind and mist they're somehow able to keep themselves in place long enough to likely strike into him unless he were to begin evading, Kali vanishes soon enough though in an effort to evade the terrible attack before her. Homura chuckles. "Apathy huh... Yeah, I get that. Didn't gain it with time though, any Lich like me could pull it off so long as our soul isn't in the body. I refuse to use the term 'magical girl', we're just Liches." Time stops once again, soon enough a series of 4 heavy artillery cannons would appear. She touches each of them for a moment and soon enough, Quin would find time moving again now with the massive guns taking automated shots at him. She doesn't waste anymore time on words, Kali instead reforming directly above her foe as the shells slam towards him. He'd also find a dizzying array of black cursed blades rushing downwards from the air and aiming to chop into him. She doubts that'll do him in very heavily.
Quin would already begin speaking once more as he saw the blades fly forth. "Shield of Contempt." A shield with a golden rip and black metal center would form before Quintus, seeming to grow out of the ground as well. The shield would attempt to block the blades flying at him as well as anything else before him. The shield seemed to have a mind of its own, moving in accordance with whatever threat may come at him, changing positions to deflect. "So, do you hate this world? Do you hate your fate? We're not so different if so. I didn't choose this path because I lusted for power. I chose it to make sure my suffering was never repeated. The second sign of the end was a never ending hatred that extended even beyond death. When one becomes consumed by their anger or hatred they become an avatar of that wrath. That was the second gift, one which I hold yet am careful not to let consume me." The wings from earlier seemed to separate from Quin's body as the form of a raven seemed to grow from them. The whole construct would take on the same crimson gold as the spike before as it flew upward. A cloud of the green gas would follow it, spreading out with each flap of its wings, corroding away any magic that touches it and decaying all manners of life. The bird seemed to absorb the blow from Kali in Quin's place but rather than being slammed down it's body just began to glow a brilliant red as it dove towards Homura at a high speed. Once more the bird would explode like the spikes before but this time it would leave behind a thick cloud of the green gas where it landed.
Homura's eyes are blank and dead as she stares at Quin, a bitter laughter leaves the woman's mouth as she offers him a reply. "Hate this world... Yeah kinda, she's dead now and it's entirely my fault. So yeah, I hate everything to be sure. Honestly Quin, I've just been fighting and killing in search of an ending to it all. I have nothing left. But my pride won't let me go out anyway besides fighting." The shield clicks again, time coming to a halt as the bird rushes towards Homura. She expects it to come near her again. But she's just gonna do something really stupid here. The woman moves towards him with blinding speed, and a black rune marked katana appears in her hands. "Maybe... Maybe you'll be the ending to this cursed life. Or not either way is fine. Nova Kaiser." Time resumes, regardless of anything else Quin would find both a black sword covered in flames slamming towards his head from the front. And a familiar red masked Persona blasting a wave of blazing white nuclear flames at him from behind. Of course, the gas near her and the Persona aren't doing them any favors. Bits of Homura's skin seem to be breaking down, Apollo's form wavers, but both keep up their furious attack for now. "Well, Tatsu's dead as well now. Guess I'm kinda his replacement? I sort of hate that job though."
Urumi removes her mask and just looks away from the fighting that was going on, she would just look at the one place that no one was at or at least no one was at YET aka the door
Quintus would only have time to see what was coming his way. He options...weren't limited but something inside made him suddenly remember something...It didn't matter. He would for the first time in the battle...move, stepping back into the flames. His body seemed to burn away like a cheap cloth being charred apart. Even as the flames died down though a red glow remained, a light so bright that one would have trouble looking at it directly. Quintus would begin speaking, his voice echoing from the place of the light. "Is that so? Not news to me. Tatsuyas been dead for a while. I was frustrated at first when I heard that. I had so much left to say, so much anger that had no one to be directed at but that's faded after being torn apart again and again. Made to suffer by the hands of the tyrants I sought to bring down. I was foolish and believed that one could oppose the gods without suffering. They were unable to finish me off but what good is that if I am unable to even stand for more than a few seconds. "Sword of Agony. The third sign of that the end was approaching was the blade that was placed in the hand of the delusional. Those who are given no choice but to obey, those who are given no choice but to continue towards a path of ruin, and those who are given no choice but to relinquish there sanity. This was a gift I received as well. The role of the villain, and the means to break such a cycle of good and evil." A large blade of pure nuclear fire would seem to appear before the red light. Another would shortly appear and another. Quickly, nearly 100 would amass and begin twirling around in the air. One by one they'd burst into a colorful barrage of lights. An arm would grow out of the ground carrying one of the blades. It would strike at Homura from the front with remarkable speed, as if being fired out of the ground.
The blades are mostly dodged... But the one from the ground slams straight into her chest, the woman gasps for air briefly. Before just shaking her head, tearing herself off the blade which had impaled her mere moments ago. And keeping up as a gem strapped to her right-hand turns slightly black slowly. The cigarette had up to now, remained in her mouth, its spit out quickly though. "Jesus Christ, and I thought I did terrible things to myself after Madoka died man. You talk about breaking some cycle of good and evil... But I gotta ask you, what did it cost Quintus Geminus?" Apollo vanishes, replaced quickly by a towering demon lord with red eyes full of rage and hate. Raw almighty power forms into a circle that rushes around Quin's 'body' for lack of a better term in a dizzying display. Soon enough though, the true use of the magic would appear as Lucifer takes hold of it all now shaped into a wicked looking axe that flies straight at the target to try and lodge itself near before exploding in a blast of energy. "If you want to kill me though hitting my body head-on won't do it you know. That is your goal right Quin? Mine is to be sure, to kill you after all."
