Rejoice! Behold your future!
The new world seems to pay no heed to prophets, not unless they prove their own merit! After rejoicing the future for most of his life, why not allow others in on the glory of time? It is to this end that retainer to the King of Time, Woz, would add his own twist on the title of fortune teller. It is a job largely shrouded in mystery and the arcane, but no longer! Why utilize esoteric means of deciphering the future when all one needs is a prophet? "Rejoice! The reader of past and future stands before you, his name is Woz, and today he shall impart his blessings upon the public! ...for 250 yen." His stall is anything but humble, gold satin draped over a sedan chair housing a throne laden with watch faces, in front of it is a stool from which he stands with his hand aloft, open book in hand. In front of THAT stool would be an ornate wooden chair with a crimson velvet cushion.
Walks up to the stall and hands the fortune teller 250 yen which is a currency they have for no apparent reason "Does Big Sis ever accept Des' love?"
Woz
Woz would turn several pages in his tome, before settling on one. His expression maintains blankness as he takes the currency. "No. At the very least not in this era! Next! Come receive the blessing of knowledge!"
A suspicious looking man in a large coat and covered in bandages walks up to the nice looking stand, he calmly sits down in the fancy chair before bringing out a small bag of gold and asking. "Exuse me, kind fortune teller, what do you think are the prospects of E.V.I.L.? I'm eh.. Asking for a friend."
Woz
He flips through the book once more, a little disheartened. "The organization? It seems you will encounter trouble again and again, erm, your friend will. Out of all your friend's options, investing in medical insurance is the best possible route. Should you do so, it appears you will buy out the company and encounter a period of a financial boom, but mismanagement will cause the organization to fall apart as it becomes enveloped in an embezzlement scam."
"Well so much for the embezzlement scheme." The suspicious-looking man mutters as he leaves his bag of gold on the consulting counter. "Anyways, thank you for your assistance, book man. I shall destroy you last. HAHAHAHAH... Ehem. Anyways... I'd best be going." The man caughs before standing up, waving to the man with the large book before leaving back the way he came.
A pair of young girls walks up to the stall, the taller black haired one sighing a bit as she's pulled toward it thanks to her pink companion who's smiling brightly. M: "Ah, what a cool stand Mr.! I guess you tell fortunes then, right? I kinda want one!" H: "Oh come on, you don't think it's for real do you...? I doubt it, but I guess there's no harm in it Madoka..." Homura reaches into her jean pockets, smiling just a bit as Madoka claps her hands excitedly and grins. Soon enough Woz would have 250 Yen on the table as the pink haired girl speaks up again while looking at her friend. M: "What to ask... Oh I got it! Um, I'm curious how things will work out for Homura and I... Kind of a cliche question huh? But eh, it works!" The black haired one blushes a bit and stammers something about it being a silly question, but nevertheless would stay to hear what Woz says to it.
Woz
Woz turns through the tome once more, sitting upon his throne. "According to this book... your immediate future shows promise, but it is not the proper time. I seek not to correct this discrepancy, but the fact it exists must be stated. The future stolen is a happy one, but I advise caution, for it is a dangerous world, and your happiness can easily become cast aside without vigilance, or rather an excess. Go about your days as you would, but in all things know there is a hidden danger." The sound of watches ticking echoes from behind his throne. "Hmph, perhaps you would rather have a pleasant prophecy instead? Then I must delve into the past, the GYM's fridge was recently stocked, strongly in favor of pastries."
Homura stares over at the man behind the throne, her eyes just a bit narrowed. Stolen? She wouldn't call it that, but she can now say for sure... This man knows far more than he lets on. Madoka is a bit confused by it mostly, she doesn't really know all the details. Her head tilts curiously even as she smiles at Woz. H: "That's... I'm not sure stolen is the right word, more like stumbled into? Regardless though yes, you have a point there. I'm not entirely sure how you know that much about us, but you are right that this world is full of hidden dangers." M: "Heh, it is kinda funny how things work out sometimes. We're always careful though Mr...? Well regardless, thanks." They both shrug a bit and giggle at the second bit of info, perhaps they should head over there at some point? Either way, Madoka bows politely for a moment, Homura smiles and nods, they both begin walking away and waving to Woz. H: "Anyway, see you around later I'd guess. It's been nice meeting you." M: "Stay safe yourself Mr! I'm sure we'll be alright, but we'll keep your warning in mind!"
A blue hedgehog starts falling from the sky, gold armor tacking itself on as he does. Noticing that the two chili dogs had fallen out of his hand, he throws a gold shining sword on the ground beneath the chili dogs, acting like a cushion to prevent the dogs from falling to the floor. Sonic, himself, spin dashes near the ground and in a flash of golden light he shows up right beside the sword with chili dogs in hand. The sword angerily yells at Sonic "Hey, i'm not a coster! A true knight would not use his valued sword for such a menial purpose!" "Yeah, yeah," Says Sonic in his typical snarky yet charismatic tone as he surveys the area, turning towards Woz' stand and pulling on hjs glove. "Fortune telling, huh? You wouldn't happen to know whether or not this suit makes my butt look big, would you?" He frowns, looking over his right shoulder
