GYM Deluxe: Late Night Brawling
The stars and moon shine down upon the city, a young woman with blonde hair walking through a rundown part of it with a slight smile on her face as she heads towards a landmark she's heard a bit about. Most of the things in the area are quite unkempt, falling to bits and in obvious need of repair. One though, with a sign reading GYM above it looks quite nice. It's there that Fate finds herself entering, lights flicking on automatically and the door opening with ease as it was unlocked. She glances around to see a currently unstaffed snack and drink bar, several bits of actual gym equipment in parts of the area, and of course famed fighting rings. One that's merely a large square with some mystic runes drawn around it, meant to keep stray shots from hitting onlookers by the mage's guess. The other, a VR computer set up allowing one to recreate any area they can think of in moments. It's on a bench near the first she takes a seat, humming to herself and looking around curiously to see if anyone else drops in.
"CHESTOOOOOOOOOOOH!!!!" Suddenly, a colossal blade pierced through the top of the door frame and decended lower admist the loud and awesome kiai...as the door soon falls in half, a man with white hair and a massive colossal blade as the blade soon shrunk down to its usual katana shape as the man soon walks in and looks around "...I see, so this is the famed 'GYM' that person was talking about earlier..." 'Although I wonder...why did he tell me to break the door once I came through though...' The man wondered to himself
Fate stares over at the man as he enters, wondering why exactly this strange fellow chose to shout and break down the door. Doesn't matter though, he seems fairly capable by the look of it so he'll do. "Hello there, a nice night out wouldn't you say? I guess you've heard about this place too, my wife told me it's... Interesting here, so I've found myself curious." She chuckles a bit and steps into the fighting ring, eyes gleaming while staring at the man with a grin. "I hope you're good with that sword, by the way. Looks like it at a glance, and I'm something of a melee specialist myself. So now you've got my attention." The woman raises her right hand up, staring at a small bit of golden metal on it while watching Sanger's reaction.
Sanger looks towards the woman as she talked to him and then stepped into the fighting ring...as she comments on his weapon, he immediatley replied "I am one with this sword, therefore, I wield it with my very soul." The small bit of golden metal did get his attention...though, he hasn't seen anything like it...he could only assume this is what would help her fight, especially since she's a melee specialist as she claims "Very well then, I will challenge you for a duel then." As he said that, he jumped onto the ring and had his sword at hand. However...looking at her somehow reminded him of a certain someone he knew...regardless, right now its his fight and he has the make the best out of it. "I am Sanger, Sanger Zonvolt, The Sword that Smites Evil."

A spear pierces straight through the empty space occupying the door frame. The girl who threw the weapon soon pops out from the side of the space. "Alright, this is gonna be a simple procedure. Put all the, wait, was the door already broken before I came here? Aw crap..." She then approaches Fate and whispers to her from behind. "Hey, lady, can you give me directions to that one new sushi place or any other restaurants with bad security?"
The woman grins in reply, cracking her knuckles for a moment before speaking to her weapon in a calm and low voice. Strangely enough, a light shines from the thing and a monotone digital voice drones out in reply to her. F: "Let's go, Bardiche." B: "Yes sir!" As the light clears, Sanger would quickly notice the small golden object is gone. Or rather, has shifted form into a large and mostly black axe with a glowing yellow gemstone set in its top. She'd spin the weapon around briefly before rushing across the field, moving in a lightning blur that the average person would find impossible to follow. Her first move is a simple slash from above, slicing downward and aiming toward's the man's right shoulder with incredible speed as Fate smiles slightly. "I'll start off simple for now, just a basic strike... At my usual pace anyways, always liked to think that speed is one of my good points. As I'm sure you can guess just from this."
Sanger would look a little surprised, if even for a brief moment, however he quickly regained his composure, he has dealt with things like this before... As Fate's gold object turned into an axe and then rush around at those speeds, it would've been imposible for the average person to follow... Thankfully, Sanger was NOT an average person, as he quickly shifted his katana back to its Colossal blade form, he positioned it to block Fate's slash. "No matter, I've fought with beings as fast as you before."
Whittling an elegant tune, a masked man in an elegant white attire steps through the doors of the GYM, a rather large hand cannon straped to his right leg and a long cane on the left, his head shrouded by a dark hood, a mask with a chiseled smile as a bright blue eye is the only part of his face that is visible. The one last thing standing out about this odd man is a large block sitting on his left shoulder obstructing his view. As he breaks into the GYM light he takes a deep breath, taking in the drab atmosphere My my, what a place, hardly worth performing here, nevertheless, it shall be my next canvas! Looking around the room, the mask then studies all of the potential dances that could unfold, taking a particular interest in the one with a spear You there! You stoke the passion within me! How about a duet!
The woman chuckles a bit, seems he can keep up. Not bad at all... Her blow is easily blocked, the blade of her Device clanking against his weapon and not coming close to busting through that guard. F: "Well then, looks like you are pretty good Sanger-san. I'll have to take it up a notch, load cartridge!" B: "Get set, Piercing Lancer!" Her grip shifts around, the curved point of her axe aiming straight towards Sanger. Bardiche goes click as well, a shell ejecting from the weapon's handle as energy suddenly bursts to life. Soon enough the man finds himself rushed by a far more powerful blow, raw electrical energy flowing through her weapon as she thrusts forward with a slightly quicker, but moreover far stronger assault.
A girl around high school age takes note of the GYM and its now ruined door. She blinks for a moment in surprise, before grinning as she talks to herself "I thought this place would be a bit more difficult to find. Nice to see they're making my job easy I suppose." With just a bit of thought the girl, still wearing her uniform, casually walks through the door, making no note of its new condition. instead it seems she is satisfied watching and waiting for now.
Sanger would soon block those quick thrusts...albeit, with slight difficulty given the current form of his sword...the electricity wasn't a problem however, as the colossal blade seems to be conducting it while his handle acts as an insulator, making the attacks somewhat ineffective "You move well, young lady...but now its time for me to make my move!" Sanger would quickly push Fate back as his Sword shrinks back into its katana form as he holds his hand out and points his blade towards her, with his index and middle finger near the blade as it sparks with black electricity before quickly thrusting it towards her, with a black shockwave suddenly heading her way, all while he yelled "DENKOSEKKA!!!"
"What, you're not gonna take my me out to dinner first?" Kyoko shoots a sarcastic smile and bends forward slightly towards the masked man, shaking their right hand in front of them playfully and laying their left hand on their hip.
It was a quiet night, Kagari was lazily walking around wearing her school uniform, not bothered by the fact that for now it was summer. After a while she was attracted by the only thing that looked decent in that part of town and the fact that she heard some commotion coming from it. She quietly made her way in announcing her presence. H-Hi, i saw the sign and excused myself in, can someone explain to me how this works? (ノ)’ω`(ヾ) She then noticed that some people were fighting and she stared at them in awe, maybe this could be a good opportunity to train without hurting someone.
Nanaka looks up to the newcomer with a friendly and casual smile, not seeming to mind the.... Active, scene behind her. "I'm afraid its my first time here myself. It appears that people go to one of these arenas in order to test out their new abilities and spar against each other. It makes sense to have a set location for that so as to minimize damages." Nanaka adjusts her glasses as she looks back at Fate's fight currently ongoing. Though she wears a gentle expression she seems to be watching them like a hawk
B: "Defenser Plus!" Before the shockwave can slam into her, another bullet clicks out from the woman's weapon and suddenly a golden shimmering barrier is standing between them and the foe's attack. Her magic cracks and bends under the strain. It doesn't quite shatter, but it's close by the time his attack is done. Clearly, she isn't an expert in blocking. "Haha, that was pretty good Sanger-san... Yeesh, any more and I don't think I could block at all. Best to just not get hit, next time. Switch it up Bardiche, Shin Sonic Form." At those words, the form of her weapon once again begins shifting around. Along with her armor, there's... Much less of it by the time she's done. And Bardiche takes on the shape of a rather large sword to match Zanger's own. Despite that, however, her speed has anything gone up. The time between that ending, and Fate suddenly unleashing a quick and powerful series of blows from the blade that cap off by her attempting to dart behind him in a blur of yellow and black is a couple of seconds at most. "Now I'm going all out, pretty much. Save for a few things that might tear the place up anyway, those are a bad idea I'd guess."

Kagari watches the other fight, thinking for a while then turns back to Nanaka. Oooooh i see (◕▿◕✿) they don't seem like ordinary people so maybe i can fight using my full potential too! Would you like to help me with this? By the way My name Is Kagari Inoue, people call usually me Iny! ✧ Whst about you? She smiles, as if she was waiting for a handshake.
The magical barrier, though cracking, also had a large cut from where he thrust...perhaps that shockwave was thrusting the sword at a fast speed? regardless, as she took the time to compliment him he decided to give one too "Likewise, young lady, your skills definitely impress me." As she switches into Shin Sonic Form, she suddenly has her own large sword...but is now moving at even faster speeds...raising his Katana now reforming into the Zankantou. But before he knew it, she was already behind her...his face soon broke into a small smile "If that is so, then I shall also go all out as well. To complement a fellow wielder of a Zankantou(Colossal Blade)."
The woman's assault breaks for a moment regardless of its results, soon enough he'd find his younger looking foe in the air floating about fifteen feet off the ground and with a yellow glow building up in her massive weapon. There's also a slight smile upon her own face. "Right then, one last exchange I'd say. No need to fight till near death for a simple training match." From her position in the air it's obvious Fate's planning something and if one guessed by the crackling power that's forming along and inside of her sword then they might assume it's involved. They'd be right too, but for now, the details remain a mystery, given she's still preparing for a few seconds.
Nanaka giggles a little, holding one hand in front of her face before she replies "I'm afraid I'm not too much of a fighter but I suppose I can assist." Nanaka graciously bows before giving her own introduction "I am Nanaka Tokiwa, head of the Kashin school of flower arrangement, though I do a little work on the side." Nanaka brushes her hair off to the side as she heads towards one of the open arenas. As she walks she is covered in a faint violet light before her outfit changes into a loose robe typical to that of a samurai, carrying with her a sheathe with a sword hidden on each end "As such I would be happy to be your first opponent."
He he, it's nice to meet you too ^^ , thank you for accepting! I'm ready when you are! She swiflty follows Nanaka to the arena, as soon as she changes outfit her eyes shine. Woooo! That's super cool! I don't think i've ever seen something like that before other than in anime! I do have something similar but it's not as good. With that said she takes off her uniform, revealing a pink and white jumpsuit under it. I need these kind of clothes to withstand my power, i can't even count how many clothes i pulverized already... Once everything was set her hand started to glow pink until all of it was covered in pink plasma, all of her fingers were sharper too as it to give the impression of a claw like shape. She decided to not make it as hot as she could because the weight and thicness of it would hinder her movements. Do you mind if i take the first move?... I'll take this as a yes! (๑•̀ㅁ•́๑)✧ After giving a bit of time to Nanaka to prepare, she lunges forward keeping the plasma covered hand on front.
Sanger looks to her as she starts to prepare her attack “In which case, I shall meet you with my greatest move as well” Sanger would then lower the Zankantou, although, his eyes flashed yellow briefly “Un’You no Tachi! I’ll make sure you receive it!” He then leaped into the air, jumping further than Fate...before soon descending upon his opponent, eye glowing red briefly as he lowers his sword onto her, screamingCHESTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!!!!The scream of the kiai filled the room briefly, drowning all other noises at that very moment

"I suppose it is rather like an anime. That's part of what makes it enjoyable I found. Always look for the little things." The girl once again giggles to herself before nodding to Kagari "By all means go ahead. I eagerly await." Nanaka's demeanor wouldn't change all the way up to when Kagari moves forward. At which point her face changes to a more neutral one and Nanaka draws one of her swords, a short style of katana, from its sheathe to intercept Kagari's slash before moving to the side in order to get a little space away from the side of the arena. "Interesting, rather than relying on weapons you sort of turn yourself into one. Are there any other things you can do with it?"
She darts forward, meeting the blade head on with a smile as her Device shouts out once again and two more cartridges click out empty. B: "Get set, Jet Zanber!" F: "Here we go, fire!" Sanger's blade would be met by the woman's own, massive strength surging behind it as Bardiche Zanber grows even longer. Raw magical energy rushing into the weapon in a massive burst and causing its mana blade to elongate while packing in more power. Finally, as their blades clash properly, a large explosion would rush out from the tip of the sword, all of the magic she'd poured into it from her cartridges and charging suddenly blasting at Sanger as his blade slams into her. The sword sends Fate tumbling down to the ground, though she's back up with a few minor scrapes and bruises in half a second. Staring across the field and taking deep breaths as her weapon and armor both vanish. Replaced by casual clothes again. Sanger would also note, that regardless of how he handled her final blow, it simply wasn't able to kill or even maim him. A quirk of the magic used, causing only as much damage as its master wishes.
As the mixture of magic suddenly blasted from Fate’s sword, it blew Sanger back, being blown to the floor as well...as he soon laid there with his Zankantou returning to Katana form as it pierces the ground near him...the sword was somehow unscathed, unlike its wielded, who had just gained a couple of scratches, but not enough to get him down as he soon got back up...though, almost instantly...is it the magic that she has used? Regardless, he soon sheathed his katana and walked over to Fate “Even though it was brief, it was a good duel.” he said...though, he paused for a moment...and “What is your name, young lady?”
As her strike gets intercepted, she decides to move back a little and shakes her hand, making the plasma disappear. Yeah, that's the gist of it. My power can be quite destructive if misused, this is why i don't usually rely on it. I guess i can show you what else it can do ^^. This time she redied up for a ranged attack, forming some small dark pink plasma balls. She then threw them in Nanaka's direction, making sure they would not follow the same path while doing it.
The young woman chuckles a bit, taking a seat once again and casually starting to watch the other match that had begun while they fought. "Indeed, that was exciting. Wouldn't want to meet you on across a real battlefield, that's for sure." As he asks that question though, she'd blush for a moment and sigh. Rubbing the back of her neck and looking slightly embarrassed by her lack of manners. "Haha, I can't believe I forgot about that... Fate T. Harlaown, and it's a pleasure to meet you." With that, her gazes turns to focus upon the younger pair. "They're not half bad either, hmm. Almost reminds me of mine... Though, a bit older than she is I'd guess. Sorta reminds me of myself as a kid too." Though that girl's... Magic? Fate is sure the one who transformed is using magic, almost like a Barrier Jacket such as hers. But the second one, maybe it's more like something else, Inherent Skill? She doesn't seem to be a cyborg though. "Hope she doesn't burn the place down with that though, I could try and contain it if that starts but... I'll just pray for the best and observe for now, hmm?"
"It does seem rather volatile, definitely something that needs to be planned around when working in groups." Nanaka sheathes her sword once again as she awaits Kagari's next attack. Once Kagari launches her balls of plasma, Nanaka speaks up again "Well, I suppose it would be rude to ask so much of you without returning the favor." Nanaka Takes a single step forward before drawing her weapon from its sheathe and slashing in one smooth motion This time a flurry of cherry-blossom flower petals burst out from the air where the blade passes through, slicing through the air towards Kagari. Though the plasma was spread out it would likely strike those going directly for Nanaka, before heading for her opponent were the petals to win out.
Kagari tries to dodge the incoming attack rather than coat herself in plasma, that doesn't go to well thanks to her lack of recent training and she gets hit by some of the petals, which scrath her and make a small cut on her jump suit. I should definatly work on my speed, that attack was really thought out he he. Now let me try something else! ˙˚˙ᵕ꒳ᵕ˙˚˙‧̍̊ She decides to coat all of her body with plasma, being slower in the process but shielding for most other attacks, she would leave steps of fire as she walked, which would be quite dangerous if left alone. After getting near Nanaka, she takes a defensive stance, ready to receive the next attack. In the meantime some of the lefover plasma from the earlier attack would start to burn aswell.
"Was it really that clever now? I wonder..." Nanaka would take care to avoid the flames, though by now its becoming fairly obvious what her opponent is doing. Even as her area is being limited Nanaka keeps her usual smile. After all, there are no real stakes here. "You're not half bad yourself." while Nanaka could definitely attack kagari here, it seems likely that doing so would get her injured as well, and as such is obviously the wrong course. Instead she simply stands there, smiling for a tense moment as a faint breeze blows by.
“If It were a real battlefield though, you would see me in the Dygenguar.” Sanger responded to that comment, before Fate finally formally introduced herself “It is a pleasure to meet you Fate...” ’Though...in a way...this girl reminds me of Irui...Irui Gan Eden...’. Sanger lowered his head for a moment at the thought of that before Fate turned her attention to the younger kids... “The young ones do still have some spirit in them...” he said, looking over the 2 girls fighting “I have heard that this place was made out of tougher material though...but I suppose if it gets too out of hand, we’ll postpone their duel temporarily.” he soon looked back at Fate “You said ‘yours’...I take it you have a young one as well?”
The... Dygenguar? She can't help but wonder about that, must be some kinda vehicle by her guess though. There's a slight giggle as she looks around the building, it does seem made for violence, but plasma is no laughing matter. "They've got spirit to be sure by my guess, yeah. And I've heard the same, shoulda had em use the computer though maybe. Can damage VR as much as you want without issue." She pauses for a second at that question, no sense in lying about the matter though. There's a grin while reaching into a pocket, pulling out a photograph of the woman alongside another young woman about her own age. And in between both of them, a young girl with a striking resemblance to Fate. F: "Hah, yeah. Vivio, she's actually adopted by us but... Well, that was a while ago. She's mine, and Nanoha's. That'd be the other woman in the photo." B: "Sir, reminder that we should be going soon. Though this was an intriguing duel." She puts it away with a fond look on her face, standing up and nodding at the voice coming out of her Device in its tiny golden bit of metal form. F: "Hah, yeah thanks. With that Sanger-san, but I do believe I should get home. Been nice meeting you. And Bardiche, take us out please." B: "Get set, Dimensional Transfer!" With that, there's a blinding flash of light for several seconds. And Fate's gone, returned to wence she came with a light smile on her face. https://plamoya.com/bmz_cache/a/a954b8d6b2f42f744ec792d36f20c59d.image.500x500.jpg Couldn't find a good photo without watermarks, but there's a family picture. And with that, I'm gone.
Sanger looked at the picture, seeing Vivio with her 2 moms. Of course, Sanger wouldn’t judge that part...he had already seen some relationships like that and it didn’t define who fate was...though, as he looked at the picture, he was reminded of Irui once more...Vivio herself somewhat having a similar hairstyle to Irui, albeit, with longer hair. When Fate was starting to leave, he nodded and waved her goodbye “Farewell for now, Fate T. Harlaown...May we meet again as allies.” And with that, Sanger got a call from an earpiece and nodded “Understood, dock the Kurogane nearby. I’ll see you soon, Ratsel.” he then hung up and soon walked out of the sliced in half door...heading for a battleship that had a drill at its bow
"Ah. Now ain't that a kick in the pants..." A large man halts his stride at the door, or rather, where the door should've been. "I figured with the big man going underground that maybe his doors would finally be safe. Glad to see nothing is sacred, makes me feel better about myself." With that he continues walking aimlessly before fog descends around him. And then he was gone.
