While the road trip idea sounds cool, it probably would have some problems actually being done. I could understand your party being with you on the road trip, but your other confidants would be harder to work with. Unless you want 20+ people in your car. Unless we want to go old school persona and there’s no confidants, the road trip is a bad idea. That is a good point. I dunno how atlus was going to solve that. If i were developing the game i would probably counter that issue by having the social links either take less time to complete, or make it so the road trip is a school event so all your students and teachers you wanna bang are with travelling with you. For non school related social links i am not sure? Perhaps if you make a social link in lets say italy if you max it out before you leave and they become your girl friend they will join you on your trip. But im only a programmer not a game dev. So what do i know besides persona 5 is a great game.
I think ATLUS should use green. Maybe a game based on something like illness or spreading disease. Some YouTuber mentioned these ideas, but I don’t remember the name. If anybody knows that’d be great. Anyway, your thoughts?

Persona games aren’t actually that connected though. While there are references to the other games, no two main persona games (except for the P2 sequel) are as connected as you described it. The phantom thieves can be mentioned but the plot can’t be directly influenced by the previous story. Perhaps that would be a good idea for a direct sequel to P5I think that it would be better if the main character was in a bad place in life but hearing about what the phantom thieves did gives them hope and then from then on there is 1-2 mentions of them.
