The Fool Wild Card Confidant...if it was a team member.
So, what if there was another wildcard character in one of the main Persona games that isn't the protagonist? I know P1 and P2, every character's a wild card, but I'm talking about the way Persona 3+ does it. Say the protagonist encounters this other wild card (say, like they were the opposite gender of the MC), and let them awaken to their own Persona, and soon find out that they are a wild card as well, accepting them as a team member. How would their interactions play out? Say in this game, you had the option to interact with them with the contract in mind. I'd say that their confidant would be the same as any teammate confidant. Protect, Endure, etc., but their Second Awakening would be called Shared Heart. "Gains access to [Wild Card teammate name]'s Personas in the battle." With this, you are able to use your partner's Personas with your own, while they can do the same. The only drawback is that you can't use the same Persona as them at the same time. They must all be unique as well. It'd be broken in some scenarios, but hey, it works. What do you all think?
Maybe we’ll get something similar in P5R due to Akechi being alive. Sadly, I think the most we’re getting is Akechi being able to switch between Robin Hood and Loki and not having a full second wild card. Your idea would be interesting but it would make the player character less special.
Your idea would be interesting but it would make the player character less special. Say that to P1 and P2 then--
P1 and P2? More like... P 3 A N D P 4 The thing is that the modern persona game’s protagonists are made to make the player feel special unlike P1 and P2
Frankly, I'm fucking sick of games making the player feel special. It's a tired and worn out trope at this point that's been done to death. Give me someone different over another special snowflak blank slate. That doesn't go for merely Persona, but gaming in general these days.

Until the game is out i wouldn't assume something like that, especially bc even in the base game due to the power of Loki he could potentially control any shadow he wanted.
The thing is that the modern persona game’s protagonists are made to make the player feel special unlike P1 and P2 It was exactly my point. But as Tatsuya said, special blank characters are overdone, it gets tiring easily. Also, P3FES, both the protagonist and Aigis are wild cards. Sure, in Aigis' case, she gets it after their leader goes missing and losing her old self, as which doesn't give the main protagonist the emo special snowflake feel anymore. That's why I said to tell that to the first two Persona games, everyone was a wild card and no one was too special.

I also think that the special protagonist trope is pretty dumb too, but who cares, the Weebs like their Waifu dating simulator.

Honestly that was a joke poking fun at how some people only play Persona for the waifus but thank you for explaining me that you can date girls in persona.
Talkin about the fact you could if you wanted to-- Not sayin you should--
We should have mass produced personas. Make a whole ploy revolving it, some shady company giving random civilians the power of persona and all that.

I think it's the kinda idea that could work really well if done right, P3 sorta touched on the idea with STREGA and all. But I'd like to see it taken further at some point.
