Sun Mall: Now with 100% more sun!
A duo consisting of a young girl and a much taller, silver-haired male are wandering through the streets when they come through and entry to a large open-air mall. They are walking in tandem, with the girl's right hand interlocked with the boy's left. Boy: "Thankfully, the natural sunlight in this area should allow you to evade some measure of suspicious glares from the public. Nevertheless, we should take any precautions possible. We can't risk any direct confrontations until after the time of your coronation." Asami: "Look around you, brother. There's no danger anywhere near here. You fears are completely uncalled." Boy: "You're still just as reckless as ever. What would you do if you got hurt and no one was there to help you?" Asami: "It's not like i'm so defenseless! I have the staff you gave me, remember?" The staff in question was presently absent from the girl's hands. Boy: "A pale imitation of your true potential, might I add. Anyways, just what was it you wanted to come here for, Asami?" Asami: "Umm..." The girl would glance over the various stores set up in the mall, musing over the names and displays of each. After a few seconds of doing this, she turns to her brother. Asami: "Come to think of it, i'm not really sure where it is. Maybe we could find a map somewhere?" Boy: "Hmm..." The boy would stare upwards in a similar manner while walking forward absent mindedly, noting the layout of the mall including the large foutain which he approaches and begins to dip his hand into. "Well, whatever it is, we certainly have donations to spare. Wait here a second." Asami would sit on the edge of the fountain while her brother sifts through it for various coins and miscelaneous treasure, some of which seemed nonsensical in the current setting.
Sen was walking with a small group of girls around her age. Her friends. That's what they're called. Friends. In any case, the group had been enjoying themselves at the mall for a fairly long time, when Sen notices another girl quite familiar to her. And with her last conversation with Kazuo... Sen was somewhat concerned. So the girl excuses herself from the group in order to approach Asami and her brother. The girl hurries over with her schoolbag before giving the pair a brief bow "Hey, sorry if I didn't introduce myself properly last time. My name's Sen. Sen Megumiba. You're doing alright right? Kazuo hasn't been doing anything weird?"
A pair of young girls would wander through the mall with... Nobody else really, judging by the way both seem to cling to each other and blush slightly at times one might assume them to be on a date. The taller black haired one just sighs to herself as her pink haired companion looks over at the fountain a bit though. Homura: "You really wanna get involved in... Whatever is going on over there partner? Guess it probabbly won't hurt us though." Madoka: "Hehe, yeah it should be fine. Not like we're gonna get jumped by monsters or something just for talking to people. Don't be so tense about things!" Homura just grumbles a bit while walking over to the little gathering alongside Madoka. Clearly content to let her friend do most of the talking in this given how... Strange the two by the fountain appear to be. She kind of wanted to just have a nice normal day out, but here they are. M: "Hi there! Are you two new around here or something? I can't help notice you looking at the fountain so closely and stuff. Oh and I'm Madoka Kaname, nice meeting you. And I think I saw you a bit ago didn't I um..." H: "Sen Megumiba, black haired girl's name is Sen Megumiba Madoka. And the other girl is Asami. I've already introduced myself to them, but in case you were wondering I go by Homura Akemi." She'd address the boy while saying that in a slightly annoyed tone, not really annoyed by these people in specfic. More so the fact her time is being intturpted with this. Madoka's entirely cheerful while she greets them with a bright smile, and that's enough to cause Homura to be a bit nice. Just a bit.
Asami waves at Sen while her brother shoots a suspicious glare. Boy: "And, of what use would that information be to you?" Asami has a nervous look on her face as she gently strokes her brother's arm. Asami: "Brother, these are friends. They're just being polite." Boy: "That is an uncertainty. Objectives have not been establisbed." He frowns intimidatingly as he cocks his head to the side.

"We've never met before miss Kaname." Sen quickly disagrees, to get the thought out of the way. She didn't feel right having essentially stalked the other girl for a bit, so she'd rather get the idea out immediately. Sen acknowledges Homura with a smile "Right, that's my name. Sen Megumiba, daughter of Seishiro Megumiba. I take it you were out shopping as well?" I mean, that's what you do in a mall at least. Still, Asami's brother was a little unnerving. But if Asami was comfortable around him Sen wasn't in any position to question it. "Sorry about that, perhaps I should have stated myself more clearly." Sen turns back to Asami and her brother, briefly bowing before expressing her concern "I was talking with Kazuo a little while ago and he said a few.... Concerning... Things about his time with you at the festival. So I just wanted to make sure you were alright. Not too freaked out or anything." Sen attempts a bit of a smile, but her overall serious demeanor makes it seem almost fake. Perhaps she simply isn't used to it.

Homura would stare at Sen blankly, that disagreement was... Far too quick to be anything normal, the group might notice shadows deepening just a bit as a slight breeze picks up while the black haired girl stares. H: "Pretty quick ta say that aren't you? I'd almost think you're trying to hide something... Wait almost? No I just do, I'm not one to mince words really Sen. Don't have the patience for it anymore. Maybe I'm being paranoid, but somehow I think there's a reason you spoke so fast. As for your question Asami's brother, my only objective here was to try and have some fun with my girlfriend. Still is really." Madoka would... Not intervene actually, she's a bit curious herself and doesn't really see any reason to try and stop the other girl at the moment. Not like Homura has started out by leveling threats. She does nod in affirmative to the question about shopping though. M: "Haha, yeah there's no need to worry about something so... Military as establishing objectives. We're just shopping and hanging out, and how are you doing today Asami. Don't be so tense about it!" She'd walk a bit closer to the two and very much not get in between Homura, who's still staring intently at Sen with... Not anger, but mild suspicion. Not that Madoka really blames her given she's sure she saw the girl in GYM the other day.
The boy would seem extremely irate, his teeth grit and his muscles tightened. Boy: "Asami, I thought I made it clear you are to have minimal contact with outsiders. That you should do otherwise is a grave disobedience." Asami: "But!" Boy: "However, I will deal with that later." He stands in front of Asami, holding her hand tightly as he faces Madoka. Boy: "I have no interest in social gatherings. If you have need of me or my sister's services or otherwise feel the need to bring something up, you will go to me first. That is all." Asami bows apologetically, a red blush coming over her face. Asami: "I'm really sorry about him! And, i'm fine, really. I came here to get something myself but i'm not sure where to find what i'm looking for!"
"I'm not hiding anything." Sen averts her eyes, which brings her to notice the shadows gathering around Homura... Of course they're like that too, why wouldn't she? Still Sen's gone this far, so she can't back down now. "We never really met before. If we had I would have surely introduced myself then." Sen looks back to Asami, concerned, but unfortunately Sen is currently preoccupied, so she wouldn't be in much of a position to try helping. instead she looks back into Homura's eyes, doing her best not to be intimidated.
The girl just shrugs and lets the shadows die down. Aw hell, she was doing that without even meaning to really. There's a lot of power in Lilith to be sure, but it's all to easy to let it run wild... H: "Right then, I'll go ahead and believe you about that. My apologies Sen. I just... Worry about her a little bit too much sometimes, but eh. Madoka's a big girl too, and you hardly seem like the type I should be worried about. So I'm sorry." She sounds sincere, she isn't entirely truthful but there'd be no telling the difference. Years working in customer service by this point have left the girl with an too good poker face that allows her to easily appear actually sorry and a bit embarrassed. Besides, chances are that even if Sen is lying as she suspects there's nothing truly sinister behind it. And if there were, well that's what a bomb and a spell are for. As for Madoka she stares at Asami and her brother with a slightly baffled look. Not so long ago she'd have simply backed off when faced with such a person, now... M: "Maybe you don't have care about them, but have you ever thought maybe your sister does? Might do some good to ask about how she feels sometimes, but that's just my opinion." She'd smile while looking dead on at him, absently rubbing the back of her neck a bit and just looking over with curious eyes. Homura would at that point turn her own attention back to Madoka and the pair, merely waiting quietly for now.
[Kazuo would, above all, notice the girl's shining self. He knew immediately it was Asami so he felt no fear in approaching from behind. He had a coffee he had just bought from a nearby coffee shop. He was, for once, not faking his smile as he waved even with his eyes closed.] Hey Asami! I haven't seen you since the other night. By the way, does it still hurt? I mean, I didn't go hard on you and also...- [He would open his eyes and notice all three or four? of them. The person he didn't know, Homura, Madoka, and finally... Sen. His smile dropped when he saw her. It's not that he wasn't glad of seeing her, he just got nervous for a moment there. He would then clear his throat and keep his eyes on the fountain.] Hey uh, Madoka, Homura, guy and... Sen, been a while. [He would take a sip of his coffee to focus on something else.] If I'm uh... interrupting something I can be on my way. Didn't mean to, y'know, intrude like this.
A green haired man would be observing from a distance, seated on a bench. He'd open a small pocket mirror in hand, looking at it as if looking at a newly won prize before closing it and taking a sip of what seemed to be a smoothie. "Ah, youth. A time when people feel like they need to making everything so dramatic. Still, at least watching them get all flustered is kinda fun."
"I'll go ahead and believe you like that" wasn't something people usually said when they meant it, but Sen most certainly wasn't going to argue with the girl with shadow powers. Not since they were willing to drop the conversation anyways. Still, it hurt a little to be talked about as if she's irrelevant. "I'm.. Glad you see it that way. I hope this little bump won't harm our future relationship." It was a bit of a formal, and uncertain request, but it didn't really matter too much. Soon her attention is attracted by... Can I go anywhere without running into him? For now Sen casually looks between Kazuo and Azami before asking "Did you two get in a fight or something? I thought it was supposed to be going well. You're sure you're not hurt?"
The boy would be taken aback and then look to the side, conflicted. Boy: "D-darnit it all! I can't risk her getting hurt... but I suppose I can't be responsible for her discontentment, either." Asami: "Do you mean...? Boy: "Fine. I will allow this interaction." Asami: "Thank you, brother' She smiles and hugs her brother before heading towards Kaz. "Kazuo! I'm glad to see you here. You wouldn't know where I can buy a 'cellular device', would you?"
[He blinks at what Asami said. Well, a lot of what she said. The guy there was his brother, or "Moon Guy" as he put it. He was about to say something until Sen spoke up.] ...We did fight at GYM, but "Fight" is a bit of a big word. I stopped it as soon as Asami's spell didn't work and hit the ceiling. [He almost disclosed something about his own powers, before deciding to cut back on what he needed to say at that very moment. Of course, Madoka and Homura should know given he aided the pink one in gaining her Persona. But really, he didn't want Sen of all people to figure out what it is exactly he can do. Saying stuff like "Manifestation of fear" and then creating a Chimera is anything but cool and closer to nightmare fuel. He would then turn back to Asami.] Anyways, you mean you came here to buy a phone? That's the only "cellular device" I know of. If it's only that you want then I can take you to a store and help you look around, but keep in mind they are somewhat expensive.
Homura would nod to the girl with a laugh. H: "Hah, yeah that sounds good Sen. And no need to be so formal with me, god knows I don't bother with it unless I'm making money for doing so. So just call me Homura, oh and uh... Has anyone explained much about some of the more common odd things around here to you? I could go over a couple I know pretty well, if you need info. " Truth be told, Homura is like this with most anyone she doesn't know and doesn't yet like much. But Sen has no reason to know her... Unusually blunt nature. But the girl also doesn't seem awful, so perhaps giving her some help with things is a decent idea. On her end Madoka would grin and smile at Asami's brother with a knowing look. M: "Heh, I can understand wanting to look out for your younger sibling, but being too protective can hurt them just as much as anything. I've got a little brother myself, so it's kinda easy to see where you're coming from honestly." One who she vanished on forever... But even so, she can get it. Homura would walk up behind the pink-haired girl and just absently rest her head on Madoka's neck with a slight sigh as her friend blushes. M: "Eeep, do you have to do that without even saying anything!?" H: "Have to? No not really, I think it's cute how you react when I do is all. Also yo Asami's brother, how's it going?"
Asami's brother appears to take on a more casual stance, albeit speaking in a monotone voice when addressing Kazuo. Boy: "I assure you, money will be no issue." Asami: "That's great, thanks!" Asami goes to Kazuo's side and tries to hold his hand, her brother taking note and frowning jealously. He would appear absent minded for a second, diverting some of his attention to Homura. Boy: "Huh, 'Asami's brother' produces unnecessary syllables. Very well, you will refer to me as 'Apollo'. As for how i'm going, I must express a measure of unnerve. The sporadic nature of humanity isn't something I enjoy dealing with."
(edited by Sunna)
"Of course you were fighting why wouldn't you? At least they're staying in business." its true that the GYM was used pretty frequently, seeing as Sen had been there a few times herself. Though she couldn't really fight there anyways. Sen would let Kazuo and Asami go, looking back at Homura instead. So they really were like this too? "Why does it always turn to this?" Sen says with a sigh and a slight frown forming on her face before crossing her arms "As much as I appreciate the concern I know everything I need to. There's no need to look after me." Another somewhat formal, distant answer. Yet nothing else could be expected of the girl. She most certainly couldn't pursue anything like that and worry Kazuo further. Although the boy was clearly older than her, she couldn't help but feel responsible for being the closest thing to a normal relationship he had.
[Kazuo would keep staring at Sen until he felt his hand being grabbed, Asami taking back his attention as he learns of her brother's name. Apollo isn't "Moon guy", but his name is...outright that of a God of the Sun. He felt curious now, more than ever as he instinctively hold Asami's hand with his own, not really thinking anything of it. He thought she probably was doing that out of courtesy and because she was happy, nothing too weird about that.] Excuse me Apollo. It may be rude to ask, especially right before taking Asami to buy her phone but... What are you guys exactly, I know you aren't humans but...are you two... deitites of some kind? [He would shake his head, taking then another sip of his coffee.] Ah, my name is Kazuo Takahara by the way, a third year high school student. 18 years old. Just... a normal human, I guess.
Apollo gives a mocking smirk, snorting at Kazuo's suggestion. Apollo: "So what if I am? You gonna start praying for my 'divine intervention'?" He then blinks and shrugs, waving a hand in the air condescendingly. Apollo: "I only give as much as i'm given. Tell me where demons like to hide, then maybe i'll consider giving you a substantial piece of information." Asami frowns, staring at her brother nervously
Homura actually sighs with obvious relief before replying to Sen in... A much more cheery tone than before. HL "Oh really? Thank god, I didn't want to have to go over that kind of stuff in my off hours especially. Truly, my deepest thanks for not making me dig into that madness right now Sen! Would you like to hear about cooking instead? I don't actually talk to people our age a lot outside of work or... Stuff. " Madoka would just giggle while the black-haired girl still leans against her, absently speaking up to Sen in a amused tone. M: "Don't mind Homura's bluntness and stuff, she doesn't mean any harm just... She's a lot nicer than she first seems." The slightly older girl would blush as Madoka says that, she can't really deny it entirely but to have it said so openly isn't exactly her favorite thing. Oh well. As for Apollo, the girl just chuckles at that. H: "Could you do me a favor and at least pretend not to be some inhuman god or the like? And not talk about demons? Some of us are here to try and enjoy, and you very obviously know enough that I'm not compelled to try and help you as a newbie. So just... Don't?" She'd sound a bit exhausted while looking at Apollo, offering to teach someone she thinks may be poorly informed is one thing. But hearing somebody ask for info about demons? No, just no. Madoka would toy with her friend's hair a bit while chimming in herself. M: "I... Kind of agree actually. It'd be nice to stay casual without focusing on anything heavy like that."
The green-haired man for the most part would just be idly listening but the mention of demons caught his attention. He'd smile with a dash of mischief in his eyes as he got up and began to walk away, open mirror in hand. "Man, should have just said so if demons are what sets you off. Would've saved me a lot of waiting around..." The surface of the mirror would break before beginning to cluster back together piece by piece.
[The moment Apollo mentions demons, and Homura and then Madoka protest, Kazuo finishes his cup and throws it to the nearest trashcan to get rid of it. As soon as he does this, he raises his free hand while smirking himself. He doesn't mind people like him, but he might as well not keep quiet.] Gods and Demons pride themselves in saying they are not the same, but experience shows both entities are the exact same thing. If you really want to find demons, think where you would hide. [Kazuo would hold his hat, making an obviously fake smile. His expression in general becomes somewhat darker the moment he begins to disclose his own knowledge, or part of it.] I don't pray to anything; I believe in myself and that's all I need. That said, you may want to look into the "Expanse", though some people prefer the term "Makai", "Abyss" or plainly, "Demon World". Don’t get confused with the Collective Unconscious, by the way. It's best to go greet your neighbors by knocking on their door first. [He would return to his usual, casual self, like nothing happened.]
"Wait, are you serious?" Sen blinks in a moment of disbelief as she looks back at Homura, first the threat with her shadows, then offering her help, now they're just relieved? Sen was a little distrustful, not because of anything the girl said but rather because of how every other one of her conversations seemed to converge upon these monsters recently. The girl tugs on her right sleeve as she looks back to Homura "My apologies, its just.. Not where these conversations usually go so I'm not entirely sure how to respond. Its a.. Nice change of pace." It takes a moment for Sen to reorient herself... Though it occurs to the girl that she's already getting used to this. Not a pleasant revelation to make. "I've done most of the cooking at home for the last few years now so I know a little about it. Though I usually work on simpler meals." Since they're all still so close Sen overhears the demon talk as well, but chooses to ignore it. Its interesting in a way, after all she never knew where demons came from either, but its not a subject she wants to pursue
The mirror shards would begin to form into a humanoid shape but attached to the back of the humanoid was what seemed to be the top half of a scorpion. The being would quickly fall to the ground and get on all fours while making hissing sounds. It seemed to recognize who the man who had summoned them was but everything else seemed to confuse it. "You awake buddy. Your name is Pablisag and you're probably already aware that I'm the one who recreated you. Think you can cause a ruckus, y'know, go out there and act intimidating. Maybe poison the air or something? One more thing, don't kill anyone. That would be in poor taste." Pablisag would be unaware of what the man was talking about but felt the desire to comply with the man's wishes. It would begin walking towards the group that the man had been observing before, making hissing noises and producing strange clouds around it that seemed to contain stagnant air.
Apollo takes a brief glance at the green-haired man as he walks away before looking away and waving a hand at him dismissively. He then looks back at Kazuo with sincere interest. "Well, this 'Expanse' sounds pretty interesting. That's way bigger info than I was hoping for. If you can tell me how to get to it, maybe I can answer a lot more of your questions. Tell me, have you heard of the Ise Grand Shine?" He smiles inquisitively, his eyes brimming with intrique to the point where he barely notices Homura and Madoka's request. "Ah, my apologies. If it unnerves you, I can keep the conversation going between me and this gentleman. He is going to take Asami to get her device, after all." Asami would tremble slightly at the demon, although Apollo would take no heed of it
(edited by Sunna)
Homura would nod a bit, smiling slightly over at Sen. H: "Yeah I... Don't like dealing with that stuff a bunch, it just keeps coming up. Nice not to worry about it sometimes. It's kinda put me into a bad habit of seeing threats behind everything sometimes, as you've seen." She'd then giggle a bit while hearing Sen move on, better that than staying focused on the utter madness Apollo and Kazuo have gotten to. H: "And ah neat, I actually kinda cook a lot honestly. Long story but I run a moderately successful little cafe over near Shibuya! No not work at, run, and own. Thus the very long story." Madoka would snicker upon hearing her friend call it a long story, it really isn't as long as you understand what a Shadow World is and how to make money off it. It wasn't impossible to get start-up funding through that madhouse. Of course to Sen, yes it'd be unfun to explain. M: "Mmm, she is really good at it now though. That was... About two years ago she first opened up!" H: "Yeah, yeah it was. Man time flies when you're having fun doesn't it? I mean, mostly fun anyways. We've had ups and downs but honestly, I kinda like this place when things are normal. And that's thankfully most of the time." She'd end that statement with a smile, along with just sighing and shrugging at Apollo. H: "It's... Whatever, I'll just ignore it... Oh goddammit." Upon seeing a rather large demon appear she would let out a very annoyed long-suffering sigh while just staring at the thing, Madoka absently stepping away from the girl and taking up a position further behind her. H: "Apparently today is not a normal day, too much to ask for huh? So weird demon thing, are you here to try and kill us or... What's the deal, I don't wanna have to resort to hardcore violence in the middle of a mall so cut me a break." M: "Yeah, fighting isn't exactly our first choice here. But don't think we aren't able to if it comes down to that." Homura would absently place a glowing blue card in her hand as Madoka follows suit, both girls aiming towards the beast with wary expressions.

[Kazuo's focus is set entirely on Apollo as his expression darkens even more, a sense of satisfaction as he gets what he wants. He stops considering keeping things to himself as he knows how much else he could learn. Of course he knew of a way to access the Expanse.] Accessing the Expanse is not particularly easy, but you would be surprised of how many ways there are to do it. Some include key places around Tokyo, and others using blood to draw a tetragrammaton while using specific items. But my way of accessing it is a bit quicker, I just don't use it of- [Kazuo would notice the bizarre demon. He felt like he should fight it before things got too complicated but didn't want to reveal his hand in front of Sen. Luckily, Madoka and Homura seem to be preparing to deal with it. Taking the chance, Kazuo's expression would go back to normal as he grips Asami's hand a bit more tightly.] Sorry Apollo, this one will have to wait, won't it? I promise we'll be back once we get the phone, I'll answer your questions and you can give me answers. Come, Asami. It's gotten a bit too frightening and I don't want to ruin this for you. [He would turn around and nod at both girls ready to deal with the thing and then to Sen before trying to rush out of the scene with Asami and into any big electronics store.]
"You've started your own business? That's pretty impressive for one of my peers. I can't imagine how you have time for that on top of all your schoolwork. I've been swamped with just a part-time job." Sen lets out a sigh. School was always tedious to go through, but it was important and that's what really matters. Still, her lot was likely easier than another her age who'd been running the kinda place Sen worked at. Unfortunately their conversation is interrupted by a monster coming out of seemingly nowhere. Sen crosses her arms and glares at the thing, but is smart enough to stay back behind the people with easily accessed magic powers. "This has to be the worst time." Sen adds with a grimace, missing Kazuo's nod in order to keep an eye on the clear threat
The demon would look down at Homura and madoka, responding to them by hissing before seemingly waiting for a response. Of course regardless of what they say it would begin whispering, the stagnant air around it seeming to carry the whispering in it as it slowly began to accumulate. The man would just wait around near the bench he was sitting at before. He'd seem to just stare into the mirror he's holding, not doing much else. "Well, that guy seems boring. Good thing someone at least took notice so this won't be too boring."
Apollo would sigh before snapping, Asami's sun staff materializing in front of him. He grabs it and obstructs Kazuo's path by swinging it in front of them horizontally Apollo: "Stay there, this'll be a good learning experience." He then tosses it to Asami and bellows out an order Apollo: "Asami, cast [Crimson Rain (Latin)]!" Asami: "R-right. Don't worry, Kaz, I can handle this!" Regardless of any further attempts Kazuo would make to get her away, Asami nods and quickly begins the incantation, switching to her casting position while still holding Kazuo's hand. As soon as she finishes the last word, the clouds begin to darken and a downpour of rain soaks the mall. While mostly harmless (you might catch a cold) to everyone, the rain appeared the pierce the flesh of the demon like a steel beam being slammed into it. Effectively, it was like it was being stabbed to a much greater magnitude and several times over.
(edited by Sunna)
I offer a getaway and you all choose to fight anyways. ... It'll be a nuisance in the future, I'm sure. [He notes as his attempt to get away doesn't work, but realizes he won't need to do a thing as he watches what began and hoped would finish quickly. He keeps his gaze on Asami as she successfully casts a spell, one that brings about rain and can tell it's made for damaging. He could somewhat tell what Apollo had just said. He wasn't exactly too knowledgeable on latin but he had a small, powerful inner translator he could use at times.] Wait, I'm being stupid... Hey, you, demon! Talk to me, quickly! Can you speak!? I can understand whatever it is you want to say! [Kazuo quickly directs his voice at Pabilsag, because even if no one else can understand what it is saying, Kazuo does in fact know the language of the demons. Right now, getting soaked wasn’t an issue to him, since he wanted to know what its deal was.]
Homura and Madoka both just sigh as the two begin taking care of it and... Start walking off. H: "Yo Sen, wanna get out of here? Seems they have things well in hand and I'm not really fond of fighting all that much anyway. Was actually just trying to get some clothes but... Here we are right? So we're heading out honestly, feel free to come along if you want." Despite a somewhat rocky start the girl actually seems to be given an erranst and maybe slightly concerned invitation to Sen, she won't force it of course but still. That's enough to cause Madoka to crack a wider smile while she begins heading towards the mall's exit. M: "Yeah I... Don't wanna get caught up in all that unless we need to. You can stay if you want of course, but feel free to come along too. Not sure where we're gonna head but it'll hopefully have fewer demons!"
The demon's hissing would actually make some form of sense to Kazuo but it's voice wouldn't come out as easily between the rain and the barrage of attacks it was suffering. Pabilsag: (Not here to kill...I just need to be...a target. Have I...done well, creator?) The green-haired man would obviously be upset by what was happening. Even if he had brought the demon forth for this he wasn't free from the guilt of inflicting on it any pain. The raindrops instead of forming real injuries would cause pieces of the demon to begin cracking and shattering like glass. It hissed in pain each time it was struck bringing the man to speak into his mirror. "Yes, you've done well, Pabilsag. Now...Shatter." The demon would suddenly stop hissing all at once until it's body seemed to solidify into the reflective glass that a mirror would be composed of. All at once the glass would shatter into pieces that would fly through the area, disappearing as soon as they made contact with anything solid.
"No, I think I'm good. Not dealing with that I mean." Sen initially backs up with Homura and Madoka, only to glance at her phone and realize the time. The girl lets out a frustrated sigh before bowing apologetically "Sorry, I', a little low on time. I'd be more than willing to head out some other time though. Maybe I'll even drop by your cafe some time." With that, Sen would wait for a goodbye before hurrying back home. It wasn't the worst day she'd had at least, despite the interruption. At least everyone else was able to handle it easily. But if they weren't there and it was just Sen? It would be like inviting disaster. Though Kazuo always had a way of finding Sen wherever she was... That couldn't really keep happening right?
Apollo scoffs, shrugging his shoulders while offering to take Asami's staff back from her after the demon is defeated. He places his hands on both ends of the staff and causes it to gradually disappear from where he holds it going towards the center. Asami sighs, relieved. Apollo: "Heh, whoever summoned that thing must be a complete moron. Oh well, that only works to my advantage." He would still remain completely unphased by the occurence while Asami appears to be confused by it Asami: "Oh, you can talk to demons like my brother?" Apollo chuckles. Apollo: "For all the good that does you."

{Behind the corner of the building of the mall was a girl standing off to the side, hiding behind the corner. She was wearing her pajamas and a crudely made paper mask where the only thing that is detailed is the plastic cutout hair taken from another mask. This girl held a phone in her right hand and glared at everyone under the mask.} "Fuckin' dumbass idiot. Stupid ass bitch, why the hell would you try talking to some pig eating scorpion looking ass thing? You must be so idiotic thinking that your cunt ass disgusting self exists for a reason, l m a o..." {She quietly went on and on under the mask recording the whole thing on her phone, not really phased at all by the demon since she still talked trash about it, or the other people. All the phone screen seemed to focus on was the only other boy that wasn't the one with the sister. Of course, she had to hide back into her corner when Sen went away from everyone. It'd be stupid to stay out in the open like that.} "Wow, nice job you hoe. All these girls hanging out with you make you look like a fucking twat. I hope that can look good on your stupid record when you actually find somebody that doesn't reject your harry potter looking ass."
A... target? What is that supposed to-! [And so, the demon would simply die right there. It would completely disappear and become nothing at all. Kazuo would keep looking forward where it was, eyes wide open, almost reaching with his free hand at the missing being.] ... Obviously, someone sent him to die. [Kazuo would close his eyes and clutches his free hand into a fist, limiting the strength he was using on the one that was still holding, almost as if it was the only factor in helping him not lash out as he would... probably normally would.] That "creator" threw away the demon's life like nothing, it was sent to die...! Who do they think they are...!? In this place, against this group of people...!!! [Kazuo was outright glaring daggers at nothing, making his face change in such a way it was almost impossible to tell if this was his usual angry or he had just watched his own mother get killed. He would force both hands of his to his face as he closes both eyes, trying to just let it go. If he saw however did this, he would not hold back at all. Then, taking a deep breath, he would look around, generally more chill compared to a moment ago.] ... Yes, I can speak to demons. ... Just... tell me about that shrine of yours. [He would hold the bridge of his nose while looking down, still trying to shrug off the past feeling. At the same time, he felt a chill run down his spine, like someone was... stalking him.]
"I thought that was obvious you dramatic ass idiot, you can't even see them dumbass. You're dressed like, look like, and see like a fucking bat, you blind ass bitch. Check your fucking surroundings as you talk instead of yelling at the air, fucking whore." {The girl says peeking out of the corner again, moving forward slightly so as to pan the camera closer in order to not look too suspicious. The background might as well try to make the worst of the worst look decent at best. At heart, she still loved her aesthetic, even when creeping behind people and recording them for no reason.} "I'm not stalking him, this is petty. I'm not stalking him, this is petty. I'm not stalking him, this is petty...This is for a fucking shitpost YouTube video, my viewers won't be concerned. Ahem, stop trying to talk to demons and get better at social interaction noob..."
Apollo, not being an idiot, would disrupt Sana's attempts to record Kazuo by... disregarding them completely. Simply by their unwilling to acknowledge that it happened, the canoncity of the action would be inquestioningly invalid. ...He would chuckle slightly at Kazuo, patting him on the back. Apollo: "They'll get what's coming to them. If it comes down to it, I can always take them down a peg." His smiles at Kaz with an uncharacteristicly cheery demeanor. Apollo: "And, the Ise Grand Shrine, located in the Mie Prefecture, is a major Shinto shrine dedicated to your sun goddess, Amaterasu. Of course, many other deities reside there. I, myself, go there from time to time to gather offerings... Essentially, the city boasts a very strong spiritual connection. There's not much to say about how that relates to us, i'm only brought there by instinct." He lets out an exasperated sigh. Apollo: "As far as origins come, that's all I know. There's really too many variables to be certain at the moment." I probably better go to sleep soon but i'm good to continue this tommorrow
(edited by Sunna)
The...the Mie Prefecture...!? That's so far from here, of course it had to do with Shinto and Amaterasu. I had an idea of that myself... [He is too focused in the spiritual power that Tokyo alone, which is extreme, but that doesn't mean other areas in Japan or the world that could have similar connections. He considers this for a moment, maybe even entertaining the idea of making a trip to the place himself to see what it was all about. It's not like he could not skip school or something.] I get it, you guys are not human but have something else going on. ... I'm not even sure what questions to ask first, or if I have anything to ask. [Kazuo would take off his hat and then his coat. Those had protected his white shirt from the rain but he would rather have them dried up. He would keep looking to the side, thoughtful.] This is mostly new to me. ... I'm used to weird but dealing with deities in a more... personal fashion is... [He would turn to Asami in particular for a moment before looking back at Apollo.] ... different from demons, Persona users and other types of people. Sure, just post when you can and I'll get back to you as soon as I can
"Ok, you irrelevant nobody, you're not who the fans care about." {After pressing the button to end her recording session, she turns and puts her back towards the corner, reviewing the footage she had obtained. Not caring at all for what happens in the middle of it though, all she does is listen to the audio. The girl pats herself on the back before breathing in and out, readying her throwing arm.} "None of you heard anything, skanks." {The girl in the pajamas reveals herself around the corner, speaking in a monotone voice before spiking the phone she used to record Kazuo right into the ground. Despite being sleepy and bored, it was still enough to make the screen go flying were it not facing downwards. Instead it just slid briskly towards Kazuo, skidding to a halt at his feet in all it's broken glory. The girl left afterwards.}
Apollo has a hearty, reassuring laugh. Apollo: "Ahahahaha, don't worry about it, man. For all intents and purposes, we are Japanese citizens. Well, we have proper identification, at the least. As for you, you shouldn't sell yourself short by calling yourself a 'normal human'. That's quite obviously not the case." He chuckles lightly as he fixes his hair. He, unlike Asami who had remained dry, possessed no natural radiance and little heat. Asami: "Oh, come on, guys, I think you're just overexaggerating." Asami had appeared slightly irritated by the topic
I- Sana...? [She was just there, wearing her pajamas only to throw a phone and leave. What was her deal? He honestly didn't get it anymore. He would pick up the broken phone and raise an eyebrow, choosing to...save it in his pocket for now. He may be able to get it fixed eventually. If not, he can sell the parts. He would then shake his head before turning to the siblings again.] For all intents and purposes, I'm a normal guy. Still, I want to keep some of my privacy intact. [He would shrug with a smile before turning again to Asami. He was already feeling generally more relaxed with the pair, at least understanding some of their nature. Regardless, he was dropping the subject for now.] By the way, everyone is already gone. Maybe we should go get you a phone before another interruption.
Apollo's expression would return to its neutral state, his absent gaze reminiscent of a student that often sits alone. Apollo: "Alright, then, that's fair enough." Apollo loosens his stance and puts his hands in his pockets, glancing to the side of Kazuo and preparing to follow him. Asami smiles and loosens up as well, staying close to Kaz.
["I'll tell you more one day, when there's something to gain" he thinks, interested in the other gods and the depth of their power. He can think of it later, so for now, he needs to do as he promises. There are many different kinds of phone but they all do similar things, just are a bit better at certain things. Some have a great camera and others are better at running more demanding games. [Kazuo would lead the pair to the nearest electronics store, one that seemed more interested in selling laptops and game consoles at first sight. He would have to walk around in silence before stumbling upon a selection of phones of similar design, but different anyways, right next to the wrist-mounted portable computers. To Kazuo all of them looked the same given he was used to them, but Asami may found one that fits her interests.] Here you go. These blocks with the glass on top of them are the phones. Any will work. They all come with a manual too so... you may want to read that when you get it. After you pick one, just ask the man at the counter to get it for you. [He would cross his arms. She seemed very much alien to all this.] I can also help you with anything you don't get about it.
Asami browses over the selection of cell phone for a brief moment and, rather than choosing a phone with any real-life parallel by way of me not wanting to do any research coupled with the specific detail being generally unimportant, she gains an interest in the Epic Phone 13LXS with new cringe erasure technology built in. She stares at it for a few moments, awe-struck, before going up to her brother. Apollo: "Have you decided yet?" Asami: "Yes, I have, I want that one." She points to the phone in question. Apollo: "Very well." Apollo than approaches the man at the counter and speaks with a forced polite tone. Apollo: "Hello, good sir, I would like to purchase the 'cellular device' of the model 'Epic Phone 13LXS'."
Your brother sounds like a guy you would see on the tv, a fish out of water... [Kazuo would cross his arms as he sees Apollo off to pay for the "cellular device" of a model he hadn't heard before but it just so happens he doesn't remember any specific one. Due to a lack of creativity or plain laziness.] What made want to get a phone, Asami? [The man would seem tired at first as he nods to go get the very epic model, taking his damn time before bringing it back, asking for about 65K yen.] ... Well, if anything I can actually give you my number once you get it.
Apollo would easily retrieve several banknotes from within the pockets of his jacket, totaling to the specified sum. He then hands the money over to the counter man, holding his hand out for the phone which he would give to Asami as well as whatever manual came with it. Asami: "Well, Kaz, I just figured it would help me with communication and learning more about the city." She smiles when Kaz offers to give her his phone number. Asami: "I would like that, thanks. Though, you should know I have a curfew. It's at 7 PM."

If I had you till after the sun went down then I doubt I would be able to sleep after. [He jokes as he writes down his phone number on the recipt he kept from the coffee, as he forgot to throw it away too. After being done, he would give it to the girl.] You can always find me during the week at school, and you know where I live so tell me before you visit. ... If you feel like it anyways, I'm never too busy. [He looks to the side, not knowing what to do anymore. Getting a bit self conscious about their conversation. He would give the siblings as he puts on the coat and hat once more, which are still somewhat wet.] A-Anyways, I'm glad I was able to help you out. See you around. [He would clear his throat as he slowly makes his way out the store.]
Having no further business, Apollo would start to walk Asami out of the store as well, taking her home. Apollo: "Heh, how eventful. I suppose interactions with these people hasn't been completely useless... maybe I should come again, sometime." Asami: "Really? I'm glad you're warming up to them, then." Apollo: "My stance hasn't changed. We still can't afford to let our guard down."
