GYM DX: A New Dawn
A girl wanders down city streets, twitching absently and moving frankly far faster than she needs to. Casually leaping off walls and performing entirely unneeded parkour as she heads toward a certain back alley her common sense says to always ignore. She quiets that voice and cracks her knuckles before quickly looking up at the sign reading "GYM DX" though. "Hmm... Guess I do need ta see how this crap performs against other people with weird powers huh, besides that one freak the other night anyway." She looks at the door curiously for a moment, it appears to be locked but... That's never stopped Hikari from getting in somewhere, and with masterful ease, she'd merely smash down the door with impressive strength using a baseball bat made of gleaming gold and marked with a sun-like symbol on its top that appeared in her hands from nowhere. While smiling slightly and waltzing into the building, lights come on automatically as she gazes over the place and examines both its strange fighting ring covered by some mystical symbols around it. A juice bar that's entirely unmanned, some computer which does... Something. And of course training dummies, one of which the Solar would begin swinging her bat at with... Impressive skill, strikes rushing out far more quickly and accurately than one might expect of anybody merely swinging an odd metal club around while she waits on someone else to enter.
Her first challenger is a young girl with blue hair, biking by between deliveries. She didn’t know what it was that seemed off about the building until she asks “I thought this place had automatic doors?” With this mystery invoked, Sayaka parks her bike beside the building before heading in and waving “Hey, ya have any idea when they replaced the doors here?”
The Solar would shrug a little bit at that question, clearly new entirely to the place as she seems entirely unaware of the answer. "I... Haven't the slightest clue, I've never come in here before. Been in this city all my life, and I know better. Or I used to know better anyways. " Used to is the keyword given she's obviously here now, and even as she replies the girl would continue her light practice. Absently slamming the golden bat straight into the dummy, which at this point would be sent flying into a wall hard and burst into a shatter of wood as she sighs a little. "Damn, still not great at controling my strength yet either... Man this stuff is harder than I thought it'd be."
*Another young girl would stumble into the building. She'd look around with a sleepy look at the GYM and everything and everyone inside of it. Then she'd yawn.* This looks like... a perfect place to... *yawn*... sleep. Hope you don't mind. *Briar would make her way to the stands and lie down.*
Sayaka watches, somewhat in awe somewhat in horror, as the other girl carelessly demolishes a dummy. Sayaka shakes her head before asking “Ya really don’t know that much do ya? Mind at least not destroyin’ the place? Sayaka crosses her arms for a moment before getting the obvious idea. The girl holds up the silver ring on her left hand, before transforming in a flash of light “If ya need a sparring partner I assure you I’m a lot more durable than those dummies.”
The Solar would nod a little bit, that... Will work out, hopefully. Whatever this girl is, there's obviously something akin to the life force that Hikari feels flowing around and through her powering her. "Haha... Yeah sorry, I only got whatever this is about nine days ago? It's pretty cool in some ways, and a bit frightening in others. Name's Hikari by the way." As she steps over to the fighting ring she'd place both hands upon her baseball bat and... Start glowing, it's a faint glow that takes place as Essence rushes from the world around and into the girl, empowering her muscles and leaving a symbol like the one on her bat's top visible under her right eyebrow. "Guess you can make the first move then, I'll just get ready over here. Though I kinda am ready now."
“Sayaka. Miki Sayaka.” A single blade drops from beneath Sayaka’s cape which the girl catches backhanded “And you’d better not go easy on me. Had way too much of that.” With that warning, Sayaka dashes towards Akia, making a simple overhead swipe at the girl as another blade drops from beneath Sayaka’s cape for the girl to catch on her left
Swords huh? The girl merely stares curiously for a few seconds, flames burning in her eyes as the golden bat is raised into its ready pose within a mere instant, a reply flowing from her voice as Hikari's aura takes on a twinge of fear inducing power that might frighten even unthinking beings. Though not an especially powerful one, Sayaka can feel it no doubt. "Don't hold back huh... Alright then, truth is I don't really know the limits of my new power. But I'll show you whatever I can manage, as a Chosen of the Unconquered Sun, whatever that means exactly!" Those words were said to her when this power appeared after all, but their meaning is... Unclear to her mostly. Either way, Sayaka's blades would be met with a skill that far surpasses anything some newbie should be capable of, her bat casually swinging back at the overhead strike with a brutal efficiency that might well send it flying right from her foe's hands along with causing a hefty impact into her arms. The other weapon wasn't expected though, and while her skill in melee combat is no doubt impressive it isn't any use when caught off guard. The Solar partly dodges, but there's clearly some blood and a tear in her shirt now.
Sayaka lets her first blade go, spinning out of the arena and leaving Sayaka with little more than a soreness that would heal as quickly as it comes “So you’ve got some kinda contract too? Probably should have read the fine print.” Next, the blade in Sayaka’s left uncoils, taking the opportunity of its brief contact to wrap itself around Hikari’s waist before pulling the other girl in for a knee to the stomach “Healing’s kinda my thing but you’ll still need to let me know when you’re done.”
The girl laughs a bit at that, fine print... Hahah. "I didn't really have a choice, honestly. I just... Got into a fight with some loon and had power tossed at me, it feels right though too. Like some part of me has been missing my whole life." As she realizes that the blow didn't do nearly as much as it should have though, the Solar just smiles while Essence coils around her weapon. She is kneed in the stomach no doubt, but her toughness is, far greater than any human's ought to be. Merely looking annoyed while launching a powerful strike. It bears far more power behind it than the previous attempt, easily being swung with enough raw force to send a car flying despite the close quaters she's now been forced into barely leaving time to build up speed. More than that, the world bends just a little bit, the superlatve of her Exalted nature carrying the gleaming golden bat directly into Sakaya's chest as nearly a surefire thing, and if it struck true the Essence coiled around the weapon would rush into the other girl, burning up within Sayaka and exploding internally with incredible force. The golden glow around her builds up to a burning light which mostly engulfs her while the Solar pants a bit. "Anyway, I'm not done quite yet. Still got a few more tricks up my overly glowy sleeves."
Hikari would find that Sayaka doesn’t resist the blow, instead rolling with it and letting the other girl blast her across the arena. Before reaching the edge a circle of blue music notes appears beside the girl, which Sayaka swiftly turns to bounce off of. “Yeah, I kinda get that. How even if you wanted to live a normal life, it just wouldn’t be right either.” The girl drops down near the arena’s edge, pulling another blade from beneath her cape. “I’ve always been one of the weaker ones, but I’m going to make up for it.” Sayaka begins tossing out blades to Hikari’s sides, not aiming at the girl, but rather letting the swords take a life of their own as the blades separate into a dozen pieces. The girl tosses roughly a dozen swords which link together to form a cage around Hikari. “Like this. Sforzando!” A few seconds after Sayaka gives the command, the roughly a dozen swords forming a barrier around Hikari converge, aiming to completely entrap Sayaka’s opponent.
Mare: Man, these guys are givin eachother hell. I gotta get a better look at this. *Inside of Briar, the imp Mare decides to take over. Brair's body awkwardly lurches into a sitting up position, her eyes still closed asleep.* Briar/Mare Much better.

Ina
Ina excitedly runs in, leaving a flame trail behind her as she skids to a halt. "Phew! Got my warm up in and now its time to get to some brawling! I cant wait!" The girl excitedly walks over and watches the current fight.
The girl would chuckle a bit while nodding to Sayaka, being normal now... It feels all wrong after all. This force, this Essence flowing through her demands use. And right here, it sings within Hikari's soul while she smiles and speaks in a cheerful tone. "Hah! Yeah kinda, I feel... Way more alive than normal, I can tell this power's mostly meant to be used for fighting. I've always been pretty good at mundane violence, but when I use this... I kinda love it!" She shouldn't, not so long ago the manic feeling flowing through her wouldn't have been thinkable to this girl. But now she's here anyway, right before the cage can form she'd draw out a single throwing knife. A knife that flies toward Sayaka after being charged with a large amount of Essence, the gleam around the Solar herself building up from merely a faint glow to a large display of the rising sun's colors all around. The knife copies, not only one flying at her foe but several dozen rushing from numerous angles as she twirls the bat around a bit and is indeed incased within that cage of swords. Hopefully that attack buys enough time to try and get out somehow, but probably not given how unphased by things this girl seems.
Sayaka realizes that she might have made a terrible mistake. The last thing she needs is another bloodthirsty super-freak, but here we are. Still, as long as its pointed in a good direction there's no harm, and if not.... "Oh come on now you're just stealing my move!" Of course, Sayaka had the most experience dealing with large numbers of enemies, and this was no different. Sayaka swirls her cape around her, obscuring herself from sight as her accessory falls to the ground, skewered, and empty. Sayaka emerges again, unharmed, just a few feet to the left, one of the dozens of dagger clones caught in her hand as her cage wraps around Hikari, effectively restricting their movement, nearly any motion on Hikari's part would result in colliding with one of Sayaka's blades and getting injured. "I'm gonna be honest that one's never actually worked before. And I've gotta get on the name, but hey, I take it we're done?"
Any normal human would of course be defeated by this point, but the young woman burning bright with Essence swirling in the colors of a rising sun grins. With just the slightest motion her bat comes into contact with one of the blades of the cage... And a blast of Essence flows into it, rushing through all of them and sending the whole thing flying away while her Anima Banner grows even further. It would be seen for miles if she weren't indoors, and for a moment there's the image of a woman holding a katana of some sort wearing a suit of plate mail forged from the same golden metal as Hikari's bat, standing atop the corpse of some massive beast with a shape that seems to swirl wildly between far too many forms despite death. The image vanishes shortly though, along with... The entire Anima Banner, and as she rushes toward Sayaka the girl would find herself stumbling and groaning, suddenly inhumanly tired as she slowly hefts the bat and nods to the magical girl with a smile. "Ag... God I feel awful now, I broke out n all sure, but seems like I need to get used to pacing myself better, get the sense that my attacks are just wasting a whole lot of energy in general... Just like working a muscle really, if you aren't used to using it then you'll tire out too fast. Thanks though, I didn't quite realize how bad I am at conserving energy!" The Solar laughs a bit while offering a friendly nod, staggering over to the empty juice bar and simply grabbing herself a bottle of water before starting to down it with a look of relief. "Anyway, you for sure won there yeah. If only because I'm pretty positive I'd die or pass out were I to try and keep going further... It was cool meeting you though at least."
