Then as the senior citizen here being around almost three years now, I get to say eat ass Also I cannot say "type" of character as you may expect from more modern Persona, but I just really like the P2 cast in general, exploding with personality and unique traits with their own arcs through the plot and tons of depth that you slowly uncover; they were complex people with a lot to do, say and many ways to react. Out of everyone, without saying the obvious Tatsuya or Maya, I wanna go with just general oddball characters, like Yusuke and Eikichi, this is because Persona has always been really strange and wacky, so why not go all the way even with characters being themselves weirdos? Eikichi stuck out as much as the rest of the cast in his game since they were all odd but were also very believable, and so Yusuke did for me cuz he wasn't loud about it like Futaba, who was kind of annoying. Social Links tho...? That's a tough one, I couldn't really say. I prefer new rather than repeated concepts

Question good, answer yes. Persona characters I like that aren't from 2 or 1 because I wasn't alive for those games are usually the mascots. Not because they're good characters, but just because I like the designs. However, for a line of games, I'll just name some for fun. Persona 3: Man Drinking Alone - he's cool. Persona 4: Fox - really good social link. Persona 5: Raoul - he may as damn well be a character since this is the first time I've heard of him. He's also cool.
